Abstract

Studi ini menyelidiki penggunaan teknologi website dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika secara online melalui pendekatan Tinjauan Sistematis Literatur (SLR). Penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan mengevaluasi 30 artikel terkini dari Google Scholar dan Mendeley yang dipublikasikan antara 2020 hingga 2024. Analisis SLR dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat integrasi website dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan website seperti Liveworksheets, Google Sites, dan Quizizz berkontribusi atas meningkatnya keterlibatan siswa di Sekolah Dasar dan Menengah. Di tingkat SMP, e-learning melalui website dan aplikasi Android meningkatkan kemandirian siswa, sementara video pembelajaran dan website khusus membantu meningkatkan motivasi belajr siswa. Di SMA dan Perguruan Tinggi, website pembelajaran matematika berdampak positif terhadap hasil akademik dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala, penggunaan Google Sites dan Sistem Manajemen Pembelajaran (LMS) selama pandemi menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi website dalam pembelajaran matematika memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, motivasi, dan keterlibatan siswa di semua tingkatan pendidikan.AbstractThis study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to examine how website technology can enhance online mathematics instruction. 31 current publications from Mendeley and Google Scholar that were published between 2020 and 2024 are gathered and assessed in this study. To determine the advantages of website integration in mathematics education, SLR analysis was done. According to the findings, using websites like Quizizz, Google Sites, and Liveworksheets helps raise student involvement in primary and intermediate schools. Learning videos and specialized websites assist boost motivation, but e-learning through websites and Android applications enhances student independence at the junior high school level. Websites that teach mathematics have a good effect on students' academic performance and learning activities in high schools and colleges. The usage of learning management systems (LMS) and Google Sites throughout the pandemic has shown excellent outcomes despite a number of challenges. All things considered, website integration in mathematics instruction has a considerable positive impact on student engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes at all educational levels.

Abstract

Artikel ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Perkembangan zaman saat ini secara langsung telah mempengaruhi keberadaan buadaya lokal di masyarakat. Untuk itu pembelajaran berbasis budaya perlu diterapkan agar dapat mengurangi dampak negatif perkembangan zaman, salah satunya melalui etnomatematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran berbasis alur merdeka berbantuan media kolase. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Klodangan Berbah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa fase A kelas satu dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interkatif yaitu reduksi data, tampilan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah etnomatematika dalam pembelajaran sangat berperan dalam mempermudah peserta didik dalam belajar. Metode alur merdeka berbantukan media kolase yang diterapkan ternyata dapat menambah keaktifan dan kreatifitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Alur merdeka memiliki tujuh langkah kegiatan yaitu Mulai dari Diri, Eksplorasi Konsep, Ruang Kolaborasi, Demonstrasi Kontekstual, Elaborasi Pemahaman, Koneksi Antarmateri, dan Aksi Nyata. Ketujuh langkah tersebut sebaiknya dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan karakteristik peserta didik, fasilitas pendukung, dan materi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan alur merdeka berbasis etnomatematika dan didukung dengan media kolase dalam membelajarkan materi mengenal bentuk benda dapat menambah pemahaman dan kreativitas peserta didik. Peserta didik dapat berkreasi dan membangun idenya sendiri dengan mengaitkan pemahaman konsep tentang bentuk benda. Pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika ternyata juga menambah pengetahuan siswa tentang budaya lokal di sekitar mereka.AbstractThis article is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Current developments have directly influenced the existence of local culture in society. For this reason, culture-based learning needs to be implemented in order to reduce the negative impact of developments over time, one of which is through ethnomathematics. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of ethnomathematics in independent flow-based learning assisted by collage media. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Klodangan Berbah. The subjects of this research were first grade phase A students and teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that ethnomathematics in learning plays a very important role in making it easier for students to learn. The MERDEKA flow method with the help of collage media which is applied can actually increase students' activeness and creativity in the learning process. The MERDEKA flow has seven activity steps, namely Starting from Self, Concept Exploration, Collaboration Space, Contextual Demonstration, Elaboration of Understanding, Connection between Materials, and Real Action. These seven steps should be carried out by adjusting the characteristics of students, supporting facilities and materials. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the learning process with an independent flow based on ethnomathematics and supported by collage media in teaching material about recognizing the shape of objects can increase students' understanding and creativity. Students can be creative and build their own ideas by linking their conceptual understanding of the shape of objects. Ethnomathematics-based learning also increases students’s knowledge about the local culture around them.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika adalah suatu langkah pembelajaran yang dikemas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar mencakup konsep dan materi matematika. Salah satu cara dalam mengaktifkan siswa adalah dengan memberikan pemahaman konsep matematika melalui pembelajaran kontekstual yang melibatkan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pembelajaran kontekstual melalui Gunung Merapi dapat menjadi pendekatan yang menarik dan relevan bagi siswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Google Earth. Tujuan kajian ini adalah mengembangkan aktivitas pembelajaran kontekstual melalui konteks Gunung Merapi yang dapat optimalkan kemampuan siswa untuk berfikir kritis saat belajar matematika menggunakan Google Earth, serta mengetahui validasi atau evaluasi hasil pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang mencakup Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil kajian ini, pembangunan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika kontekstual (gunung merapi) menggunakan Google Earth. Dalam materi geometri, luas permukaan dan volume sisi lengkung khususnya kerucut kelas IX (sembilan). Pengembangan ini dapat dikategorikan valid atau layak diterapkan pada pembelajaran untuk mengoptimalkan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis Google Earth.AbstractMathematics learning is a learning step that is packaged in teaching and learning activities including mathematical concepts and materials. One way to activate students is to provide an understanding of mathematical concepts through contextual learning that involves everyday life. Contextual learning through Mount Merapi can be an interesting and relevant approach for students. One of the learning media used is using Google Earth. The purpose of this study is to develop contextual learning activities through the context of Mount Merapi that can optimize students' ability to think critically when learning mathematics using Google Earth, as well as to find out the validation or evaluation of the results of the development of learning activities. This study uses the ADDIE model which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study, the development of contextual mathematics learning activities (Mount Merapi) using Google Earth. In geometry material, surface area and volume of curved sides, especially cones, class IX (nine). This development can be categorized as valid or feasible to be applied to learning to optimize critical thinking in mathematics learning based on Google Earth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Pengetahuan Konten Pedagogis (PCK) calon guru, karena memainkan peran penting dalam pengajaran dan pemahaman siswa yang efektif. Program pelatihan guru harus fokus pada pengembangan PCK untuk memastikan bahwa guru memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam pengetahuan konten dan strategi pedagogi. Pemanfaatan teknologi seperti GeoGebra sebagai alat pembelajaran dapat sangat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk memasukkan alat pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ke dalam kelas matematika untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus pada siswa di SMA. Penelitian ini diperoleh dari calon guru PCK dan sepuluh siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Teluk Keramat berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan lembar angket. Menerapkan rekomendasi ini dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan prestasi siswa dalam trigonometri dan konsep matematika lainnya.AbstractThis research in order to enhance the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) of prospective teachers, as it plays a crucial role in effective teaching and student understanding. Teacher training programs should focus on developing PCK to ensure that teachers have a strong foundation in both content knowledge and pedagogical strategies. The use of technology, such as GeoGebra, as a learning tool can greatly enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, it is recommended to incorporate technology-based learning tools into mathematics classrooms to promote active engagement and deeper understanding among students. This research is a case study of high school students. This research were obtained from the PCK prospective teachers and ten students of class XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Teluk Keramat based on the results of interviews and questionnaire sheets. Implementing these recommendations can contribute to enhancing students' understanding and achievement in trigonometry and other mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The results of observations at SMP Negeri 02 Gondanglegi Class VII A showed that students were less precise in solving conceptual understanding questions. It can be seen that students cannot understand the changes in positive and negative signs when moving numbers in an equation, so this numeracy research is needed to identify students' difficulties. The focus of the research is to describe students'numeracy abilities based on Honey and Mumford's learning style in solving linear equation problems in class VII A of SMP Negeri 02 Gondanglegi. The research uses descriptive qualitative research. The subjects consisted of 4 students with the highest scores in different learning styles according to Honey and Mumford, namely: activists, reflectors, theorists, and pragmatists. Data collection procedures include questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data is evaluated through a process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the analysis, students with a pragmatic learning style have better numeracy skills because the student's character is open, giving rise to great curiosity, trial and error, courage and creativity. Students with an activist learning style improve their numeracy skills when their numeracy skills increase along with their greater curiosity. Meanwhile, students with a reflector learning style have invisible numeracy abilities, and are even disturbed because they think randomly. Students with a theoretical learning style have high numeracy skills in the applying question type and dominate in the employ step according to routine training by the teacher. It was concluded that students with a pragmatic learning style had higher numeracy abilities, compared to students with an activist, reflector, or theoretical learning style. It is important that this research was carried out as a contribution to improving students' numeracy skills by using the Honey and Mumford learning style as a reference.

Abstract

Soal olimpiade matematika merupakan jenis soal dalam ranah Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Di era sekarang peserta didik bukan hanya difokuskan untuk mampu berpikir kritis, tetapi juga harus mempunyai kemampuan literasi yang baik. Kemampuan literasi terkait budaya sekitar sangat diperlukan agar peserta didik dapat mengenal dan melestarikan budaya tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk; (1) Menghasilkan soal olimpiade matematika jenjang SMP sederajat materi kombinatorika dan peluang terintegrasi kebudayaan lokal Kudus yang valid untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman peserta didik; (2) Menganalisis kesalahan umum peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal yang dikembangkan peneliti. Penelitian ini memakai metode pengembangan dengan model formative research yang meliputi empat tahapan, yakni tahap preliminary, self-evaluation, prototyping, dan field test. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini ialah 38 peserta didik SMP 1 Kudus kelas IX, dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa tes tertulis serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya respon yang baik terhadap soal yang dikembangkan peneliti, akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa kesalahan umum peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa: (1) Diperoleh 4 butir soal olimpiade matematika yang dinyatakan valid, dimana nilai V Aiken secara keseluruhan sama dengan 0,8; (2) Kesalahan umum peserta didik saat menyelesaikan soal yang dikembangkan peneliti meliputi kesalahan dalam memahami maksud dari soal, kesalahan dalam memahami rumus, dan kesalahan konsep.AbstractThe math olympiad question is one of the questions in the HOTS domain. In this era, students are not only focused on being able to think critically, but are also required to have good literacy skills. Literacy skills related to surrounding culture are needed so that students can recognize and preserve the culture. Therefore, the existence of this research is intended to; (1) Produce mathematics olympiad questions at the junior high school level equivalent to combinatorics and opportunities integrated with Kudus local culture that are valid to measure the level of understanding of students; (2) Analyzing students' common errors in solving researcher-developed questions. This study uses a development research method with a formative research model consisting of four stages, namely the preliminary, self-evaluation, prototyping, and field test. The test subjects in this study were 38 ninth grade students at SMP 1 Kudus, with data collection techniques in the form of written tests and interviews. The results showed a good response to the problem developed by the researcher, but there were still some common mistakes of students in solving the problem. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (1) There are 4 items of math olympiad questions that are declared valid, where the overall value of V Aiken is equal to 0.8; (2) Common errors of students when solving problems developed by researchers include errors in understanding the meaning of the problem, errors in understanding formulas, and concept errors.

Abstract

Minimnya eksplorasi komprehensif konsep etnomatematika dalam pengolahan produk tempe, yang selama ini lebih sering dibatasi pada aspek-aspek tertentu seperti geometri sederhana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan lebih mendalam tentang pengolahan produk tempe yaitu keripik tempe khas Desa Kalirejo dalam konteks etnomatematika. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dengan melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis data yang berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menganalisis lima proses utama yang melibatkan aspek matematika: pembelian tempe, pemotongan tempe, pembuatan campuran tepung bumbu, penggorengan, dan pengemasan. Setiap proses tersebut mencerminkan berbagai konsep matematika seperti rasio dan proporsi, harga beli, geometri bidang dan ruang, pengukuran, volume dan luas permukaan balok, perhitungan waktu, berhitung dan peluang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep pembelajaran matematika, menjadikannya lebih relevan, bermakna dan dapat memperkuat identitas budaya mereka.AbstractThere is a lack of comprehensive exploration of ethnomathematics concepts in the processing of tempe products, which so far are more often limited to certain aspects such as simple geometry. This research aims to explain in more depth about the processing of tempeh products, namely tempeh chips typical of Kalirejo Village in the context of ethnomathematics. This research is a type of qualitative research with an ethnographic approach involving observation, interviews and documentation. Data testing was carried out using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research analyzes five main processes involving mathematical aspects: purchasing tempeh, cutting tempeh, making spice flour mixture, frying, and packaging. Each of these processes reflects various mathematical concepts such as ratio and proportion, purchase price, plane and space geometry, measurement, volume and surface area of ​​blocks, time calculations, counting and chance. These findings show that integrating local culture into mathematics learning can increase students' understanding of mathematics learning concepts, making it more relevant, meaningful and can strengthen their cultural identity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi etnomatematika pada rumah tradisional Limas di Desa Anyar, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Etnomatematika mengacu pada penerapan konsep matematika dalam budaya lokal. Rumah Limas adalah bangunan adat yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat tinggal, tetapi juga memiliki peran sosial dan budaya penting bagi masyarakat Palembang. Bentuk arsitektur dan ornamen rumah ini mengandung berbagai konsep matematika, seperti geometri, aljabar, dan trigonometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksploratif dengan pendekatan etnografi untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis unsur-unsur matematika dalam konstruksi Rumah Limas. Analisis taksonomi digunakan untuk mengkategorikan simbol-simbol budaya yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat secara intuitif menerapkan konsep matematika dalam pembangunan Rumah Limas, termasuk dalam perhitungan proporsi, skala, dan sudut kemiringan atap. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Rumah Limas tidak hanya merupakan simbol kekayaan budaya lokal, tetapi juga contoh penerapan matematika dalam arsitektur tradisional yang harmonis dan estetis.AbstractThis research explores ethnomathematics in Limas traditional houses in Anyar Village, South Sumatra Province. Ethnomathematics refers to the application of mathematical concepts in local culture. Limas houses are traditional buildings that not only function as residences, but also have important social and cultural roles for the people of Palembang. The architectural forms and ornaments of this house contain various mathematical concepts, such as geometry, algebra, and trigonometry. This research uses an explorative method with an ethnographic approach to describe and analyze mathematical elements in the construction of Limas Houses. Taxonomic analysis was used to categorize existing cultural symbols. The results showed that the community intuitively applied mathematical concepts in the construction of Rumah Limas, including in the calculation of proportion, scale, and roof slope angle. These findings suggest that Rumah Limas is not only a symbol of local cultural wealth, but also an example of the harmonious and aesthetic application of mathematics in traditional architecture.

Abstract

Rendahnya kompetensi komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMPS St. Yosef Maubesi mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi komunikasi matematis peserta didik laki-laki dan perempuan kelas VIII pada penyelesaikan soal cerita topik bangun ruang prisma dan limas. Metode yang pakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan enam peserta didik yang yaitu tiga peserta didik laki-laki dan tiga peserta didik perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peserta didik perempuan memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang lebih unggul dibandingkan peserta didik laki-laki. Hal ini terlihat dari siswa perempuan pada kategori tinggi yang mampu mencapai tiga indikator, kategori sedang mencapai dua indikator, dan kategori rendah mencapai satu indikator. Sebaliknya, peserta didik laki-laki dengan kategori tinggi hanya mampu mencapai dua indikator, kategori sedang mencapai satu indikator, dan kategori rendah tidak mencapai satu pun dari ketiga indikator yang dievaluasi.AbstractThe low level of mathematical communication competence among Grade VIII students at SMPS St. Yosef Maubesi affects their participation in mathematics learning activities. This study aims to analyze the mathematical communication competence of male and female Grade VIII students in solving word problems related to three-dimensional geometry, specifically prisms and pyramids. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, involving six students—three male and three female. Data were collected through written tests and interviews. The results of the study show that female students demonstrated stronger mathematical communication skills compared to their male counterparts. This is evident from the female students in the high category being able to fulfill all three indicators, those in the medium category fulfilling two indicators, and those in the low category fulfilling one indicator. In contrast, male students in the high category were only able to fulfill two indicators, those in the medium category fulfilled one indicator, and those in the low category did not meet any of the three evaluated indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan konsep etnomatematika dalam Tari Pattu’du Kumba, tarian tradisional suku Mandar, Sulawesi Barat. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengeksplorasi konsep geometri yang terkandung dalam ragam gerak Tari Pattu’du Kumba. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ragam gerak pada Tari Pattu’du Kumba mengandung berbagai konsep geometri. Gerakan-gerakan dalam tari ini membentuk berbagai jenis sudut, seperti sudut lancip, sudut siku-siku, sudut lurus, dan sudut penuh. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tari Pattu’du Kumba tidak hanya memiliki nilai budaya, tetapi juga dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran geometri yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengintegrasikan budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran matematika, sekaligus melestarikan warisan budaya tradisional.AbstractThis research discusses the application of ethnomathematics concepts in Pattu'du Kumba Dance, a traditional dance of the Mandar tribe, West Sulawesi. The aim is to explore the concept of geometry contained in the Pattu'du Kumba dance. This research used a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews, then analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results showed that the variety of movements in Pattu'du Kumba Dance contains various geometry concepts. The movements in this dance form various types of angles, such as acute angles, right angles, straight angles, and full angles. This research shows that Pattu'du Kumba Dance not only has cultural value, but can also be used as a medium for learning geometry that is contextual and relevant to students' daily lives. Thus, this research contributes to integrating local culture into mathematics learning, while preserving traditional cultural heritage.
