Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan karakter peserta didik Sekolah Dasar menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yaitu penguraian sampah dapur, kotoran ternak, sekam, abu sekam, dan dolomit yang diaktifkan menggunakan Suplemen Organik Tanaman (SOT). Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kulalitatif, menggunakan metode observasi. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Jember, berjumlah 25 anak. Instrumen yang digunakan adopsi dari dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila Kemendikbudristek, meliputi: 1) dimensi beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berahlak mulia, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu akhlak kepada manusia, akhlak kepada alam, akhlak bernegara; 2) dimensi berkebhinekaan global, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati, yaitu berkeadilan sosial; 3) dimensi bergotong royong, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu kolaborasi dan kepedulian; 4) dimensi mandiri, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu pemahaman diri dan situasi yang dihadapi dan regulasi diri; 5) dimensi bernalar kritis, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu memperoleh dan memproses informasi dan gagasan dan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi penalaran dan prosedurnya; 6) dimensi kreatif. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa karakter profil pelajar Pancasila peserta didik dapat diekpresikan melalui pembelajaran PjBL.AbstractThis research aims to reveal the character of elementary school students using a project-based learning model, namely the decomposition of kitchen waste, livestock manure, husk ash and dolomite which is activated using Plant Organic Supplements (SOT). This type of research is descriptive qualitative, using observation methods. The research sample was grade 5 students at State Elementary Schools in Jember. The instruments used were adopted from the Kemendikbudristek's Pancasila student profile dimensions, including 1) the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and kind character, with the key elements observed, namely morals towards humans, morals towards nature, morals toward states; 2) dimensions of global diversity, with the key elements observed, namely social justice; 3) the dimension of mutual cooperation, with the key elements observed, namely collaboration and concern; 4) independent dimension, with key elements observed, namely understanding of oneself and the situation at hand and self-regulation; 5) critical reasoning dimensions, with key elements observed, namely obtaining and processing information and ideas; and analyze and evaluate the reasoning and procedures; 6) creative dimension. The research results inform that Pancasila students, student profile character can be expressed through project-based-learning learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki keakuratan dan keefektifan penggunaan kerangka cerita dalam sebuah uji pilot yang akan diimplementasikan pada penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya. Dengan menggunakan Metode Cerita Berbasis Empati (MEBS), enam partisipan berpartisipasi dalam merangkai kerangka cerita positif dan negative melalui Google Forms. Penulis menggunakan metode observasi untuk menilai efektivitas kerangka cerita. Penulis juga menyertakan hasil penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya dan mencari validasi profesional untuk meningkatkan keandalan penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini menyoroti beberapa faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan ketika mengintegrasikan kerangka cerita ke dalam penelitian MEBS di masa depan. Penelitian in mengungkapkan bahwa integrasi MEBS yang efektif dalam penelitian di masa depan membutuhkan pelaksanaan uji pilot untuk memastikan pengembangan kerangka cerita yang dirancang dengan baik. Selain itu, penyediaan lembar persetujuan penelitian terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan otonomi partisipan untuk terlibat dalam kerangka cerita. Sementara itu, penggunaan instruksi dan kebebasan untuk menulis kerangka cerita dalam bahasa pertama, bersamaan dengan penjelasan berbasis video berdurasi 5 menit terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan partisipan dalam menulis bingkai cerita. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk mendiversifikasi metode pengumpulan data selain Google Formulir, termasuk email dan media sosial, untuk memastikan temuan hasil penelitian dapat diterapkan di berbagai konteks.AsbtractThis study investigated the accuracy and effectiveness of employing frame stories in a pilot study to be implemented in future studies. Employing the Method of Empathy-based Stories (MEBS), six participants participated in constructing positive and negative frame stories through Google Forms. The writers used the observation method to assess the effectiveness of frame stories. The writers also included the results of previous studies and sought professional validation to enhance the study's reliability. The study's findings highlighted several factors that needed to be taken into account when integrating frame stories into future MEBS research. The study reveals that the effective integration of MEBS in future research requires the conduction of pilot studies to ensure the development of well-designed frame stories. Providing informed consent was found to significantly boost participants' autonomy in engaging with the frame story. Additionally, the use of instruction and freedom to write frame stories in first language, alongside with 5-minute video-based explanations was shown to enhance participants understanding and engagement in writing the frame stories. The study suggests diversifying data collection methods beyond Google Forms, including email and social media, to ensure the findings are applicable across diverse contexts.

Abstract

The library as a core educational learning center should reflect the current revolution in the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for academic learning. However, due to current advancements in the use of ICTs, old library buildings are gradually becoming obsolete. Users' visits to libraries will continue to drop until the obsolescence of the library buildings is addressed and creative learning spaces are established. Many university library buildings in Nigeria have not been modernised to satisfy the educational learning needs of the users they serve in the twenty-first century. This study examines users' perceptions of university library buildings in Nigeria. The objective is to determine users' educational learning resource demands and library building expectations that suit their 21st century needs as learners. A quantitative research methodology was used, with questionnaires (n= 484) distributed to users of libraries at selected educational institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. Findings shows that users were pleased with the indoor ambient conditions of the libraries, but were dissatisfied with the insufficient facilities and provision that met their 21st century learning demands. The paper suggests that educational institutions should constantly examine the learners' requirements in order to match their current educational needs. This would allow them to provide and/or upgrade their library buildings, which would improve users' learning while also meeting the needs of 21st century library users. It concluded that outmoded library buildings are a reflection of poor educational outcomes, which are invariably responsible for making library buildings irrelevant to users.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menciptakan pembelajaran beserta seluruh perangkatnya yang bisa digunakan dengan mudah dan praktis serta efisien bagi guru dan siswa untuk membentuk kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) dan inklusi sosial bagi siswa di Aceh yang umumnya heterogeny. Target khusus yang akan dicapai melalui penelitian ini yaitu dihasilkan: 1) model pembelajaran tematik terintegrasi HOTS dan inklusi sosial berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang valid, efektif dan praktis digunakan di Sekolah Dasar; 2) buku model pembelajaran yang memuat buku panduan guru, buku panduan siswa, Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS), serta Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dari model pembelajaran tematik terintegrasi HOTS dan inklusi social berbasis IoT; dan 3) aplikasi moodle yang memuat substansi model pembelajaran yang dapat diaplikasikan oleh guru dan siswa sekolah dasar provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan, yaitu: pertama studi uji kelayakan dan kepraktisan produk menggunakan model pengembangan produk pembelajaran menurut Plomp, dengan tahapan: (1) pengkajian awal (define), (2) perancangan (design), (3) realisasi (konstruksi), (4) Pengujian, Evaluasi, dan Revisi (develop), dan (5) implementasi secara luas (eksperimen) dengan memperhatikan 3 kriteria kualitas produk yaitu: kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu Sebanyak 97.5% siswa atau 38 siswa menyatakan minatnya mengikuti model MT Learning. Siswa tertarik karena memahami konsep dengan lebih baik dan tertarik untuk memecahkan masalah yang diangkat karena masalah tersebut disebabkan oleh fakta dan keadaan Lingkungan sehari-hari. Metode pengajaran guru sangat menarik, pembelajaran yang diajarkan dekat dengan keseharian siswa membuat mereka sangat senang untuk mengikuti pembelajaran.AbstractThe purpose of this research is to create learning and all its tools that can be used easily and practically and efficiently for teachers and students to form higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and social inclusion for students in Aceh which are generally heterogeneous. Specific targets to be achieved through this research are produced: 1) HOTS integrated thematic learning model and Internet of Things (IoT)-based social inclusion that is valid, effective and practical to use in elementary schools; 2) a learning model book containing teacher manuals, student manuals, Student Activity Sheets (LAS), and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) from the HOTS integrated thematic learning model and IoT-based social inclusion; and 3) the moodle application which contains the substance of the learning model that can be applied by teachers and elementary school students of Aceh province. This research uses several stages, namely: first a feasibility test study and product practicality using a learning product development model according to Plomp, with stages: (1) initial assessment (define), (2) design, (3) realization (construction), (4) Testing, Evaluation, and Revision (develop), and (5) broad implementation (experiment) by taking into account 3 product quality criteria, namely: validity, practicality, and effectiveness. At this stage, trial data on the implementation of the hots integrated thematic learning model and internet of things-based social inclusion were developed to get results with average scores getting valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar belakang dari tingginya kasus kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual yang begitu mengkhawatirkan di Provinsi Aceh saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Pengembangan Buku Ajar Bimbingan dan Konseling Anak Usia Dini sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Pelecehan Seksual Terhadap Anak. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development yang mengikuti langkah-langkah pengembangan model Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua ahli yang memvalidasi standarisasi buku ajar yang meliputi: kelayakan isi, kelayakan Bahasa, dan kelayakan penyajian. Selanjutnya uji keterpaiakan dilakukan oleh tiga orang Dosen dan dua puluh orang Mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukan bahwa hasil validasi kelayakan isi memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,63 menunjukkan buku ajar sangat layak untuk digunakan. Kelayakan Bahasa memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,67 menunjukkan bahan ajar sangat layak digunakan, dan kelayakan penyajian memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,74 menunjukkan bahan ajar sangat layak digunakan. Dari hasil validasi standarisasi pengembangan buku ajar menunjukan hasil sangat layak dan dinyatakan valid sehingga sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam penelitian, dan berdasarkan hasil analisa data penelitian yang meliputi tanggapan dan penilaian yang diperoleh dari dua puluh tiga responden yang terdiri dari tiga orang Dosen Pengampu Mata Kuliah Bimbingan Konseling Anak Usia Dini dan dua puluh orang Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini terhadap kualitas buku ajar yang dikembangkan diperoleh rata-rata 3,49. Hasil penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa Pengembangan Buku Ajar Bimbingan dan Konseling Anak Usia Dini sebagai upaya pencegahan pelecehan seksual terhadap anak yang telah disusun secara sistematis telah mencapai taraf keefektifan.AbstractThis research is based on the high number of cases of sexual violence and harassment which are currently worrying in Aceh Province. This research aims to develop an Early Childhood Guidance and Counseling Textbook as an Effort to Prevent Sexual Abuse of Children. This type of research is development research or Research and Development which follows the steps of developing the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation model. The subjects in this research were two experts who validated the standardization of textbooks which included: appropriateness of content, appropriateness of language, and appropriateness of presentation. Next, the suitability test was carried out by three lecturers and twenty students. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it shows that the validation results for the suitability of the content have an average value of 3.63, indicating that the textbook is very suitable for use. Language suitability has an average value of 3.67, indicating that teaching materials are very suitable for use, and presentation feasibility has an average value of 3.74, indicating that teaching materials are very suitable for use. From the validation results of the standardization of textbook development, it shows that the results are very feasible and declared valid so that they are very suitable for use in research, and based on the results of research data analysis which includes responses and assessments obtained from twenty-three respondents consisting of three Lecturers in Guidance Courses. Early Childhood Counseling and twenty students from the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program on the quality of the textbooks developed obtained an average of 3.49. The results of this research can be concluded that the development of Early Childhood Guidance and Counseling Textbooks as an effort to prevent sexual abuse of children which has been prepared systematically has reached a level of effectiveness.

Abstract

Integrating information and communication Technology (ICT) into learning has a very important role in facing the demands of the development of the modern world. This research underlines the role of education and training to increase PAI teachers' competence in ICT. This research aims to describe the level of integration and communication, and technology in PAI teacher training. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Teluknaga. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Teluknaga. The population in this study was 23 madrasa PAI teachers and two facilitators participating as informants. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that PAI madrasah teachers have integrated ICT but still need to expand to using presentations, especially PowerPoint. Second, age factors and technical problems are the main obstacles in implementing such integration compared to younger teachers, who tend to have a higher level of comfort with new technology because they are more familiar with the use of technology in their daily lives. The availability of ICT facilities at SMP Negeri 3 Teluknaga is classified as good. This research recommends that schools provide a lot of training and support to teachers to improve their mastery of technology and integrate it effectively into the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami perspektif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 375 orang siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh dan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampel acak, jumlah sampel 193 diperoleh dengan teknik Slovin. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian adalah mayoritas siswa menunjukkan tingkat keakraban yang tinggi dengan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMA. Mereka menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik tentang konsep AI, serta memiliki pengalaman positif dalam menggunakan aplikasi atau alat berbasis AI. Siswa juga menunjukkan optimisme yang tinggi terhadap manfaat AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, percaya bahwa AI dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, efektivitas, keterlibatan, kepercayaan diri, dan pencapaian akademik mereka dalam mata pelajaran tersebut. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih belum optimal, dengan adopsi teknologi ini masih rendah. Terdapat kekhawatiran yang signifikan di antara siswa terkait potensi risiko AI, seperti ketergantungan berlebihan pada teknologi, kesenjangan pendidikan, masalah privasi, dan impersonalitas dalam pembelajaran.AbstractThis study aims to understand students' perspectives on the utilization of AI media in Indonesian language learning at the high school level. The method used in this research is quantitative, the population in this study were 375 students in SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh and the sample was determined by random sample technique, the sample size was 193 obtained by slovin technique. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques by using SPSS 26. The result of the study is that the majority of students show a high level of familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of Indonesian language learning at the high school level. They demonstrated a good understanding of AI concepts, as well as having positive experiences in using AI-based applications or tools. Students also show high optimism towards the benefits of AI in Indonesian language learning, believing that AI can improve their understanding, effectiveness, engagement, confidence and academic achievement in the subject. Despite this, the use of AI in Indonesian language learning is still not optimal, with adoption of this technology still low. There are significant concerns among students regarding the potential risks of AI, such as over-reliance on technology, educational gaps, privacy issues, and impersonality in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa, dengan fokus pada peluang dan tantangan yang muncul. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengumpulkan data dari pendidik dan peserta didik melalui survei, wawancara, dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi seperti aplikasi seluler dan platform online meningkatkan keterlibatan dan literasi digital peserta didik. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap adanya kesenjangan digital yang signifikan, yang disebabkan oleh infrastruktur yang tidak memadai dan kurangnya pelatihan profesional yang berkelanjutan untuk pendidik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya investasi dalam infrastruktur teknologi dan pengembangan profesional untuk mendukung pengajaran bahasa yang efektif.AbstractThe objective of this research is to explore the impact of technology integration in language education at Universitas Negeri Padang, focusing on the emerging opportunities and challenges. This study combines qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data from educators and learners through surveys, interviews, and group discussions. The results indicate that the use of technologies such as mobile apps and online platforms enhances student engagement and digital literacy. However, the study also reveals significant digital divides, caused by inadequate infrastructure and a lack of ongoing professional training for educators. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of investing in technology infrastructure and professional development to support effective language teaching.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan profesionalitas guru, dalam implementasi manajemen pendidikan islam di MIN 1 Kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini 4 orang yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, pengajar dan staff sekolah. Hasil kajian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dengan implementasi manajemen pendidikan islam di MIN 1 Kota Medan yaitu manajemen berbasis madrasah di lembaga tersebut merupakan model pengelolaan yang memberikan otonomi yang lebih besar kepada pihak madrasah untuk mengambil keputusan dan mengelola sumber daya sesuai dengan kebutuhan, potensi, serta karakteristik madrasah. Selain itu, kepala madrasah memastikan bahwa guru memiliki akses ke pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional yang berkelanjutan, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dan kualitas pengajaran mereka. Kepala madrasah menggunakan pendekatan yang terbuka dan inklusif untuk mendorong semua guru dan karyawan untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. MIN 1 Medan memiliki sumber daya guru yang cukup baik dari segi kualifikasi akademik dan pengalaman mengajar. Rata-rata guru memiliki latar belakang pendidikan S1 Kependidikan dan pengalaman mengajar 5-10 tahun. Secara keseluruhan, kepala madrasah di MIN 1 Kota Medan sangat menerapkan manajemen pendidikan Islam dan meningkatkan profesionalitas guru. Kepala madrasah dapat membuat lingkungan pendidikan yang sangat baik di mana semua guru dan siswa dapat berkembang secara optimal dengan kepemimpinan yang inklusif, dukungan dan kemampuan untuk mengatasi tantangan.AbstractThe purpose of this study was conducted to determine the role of the madrasah head in improving teacher professionalism, in the implementation of Islamic education management at MIN 1 Medan City. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. While data collection techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The subjects in this study were 4 people, namely the principal, vice principal, teachers and school staff. The results of the study in the field show that the role of the principal in improving teacher professionalism with the implementation of Islamic education management in MIN 1 Medan City is madrasah-based management at the institution is a management model that provides greater autonomy to the madrasah to make decisions and manage resources according to the needs, potential, and characteristics of the madrasah. In addition, the madrasah head ensures that teachers have access to ongoing training and professional development, which enables them to continuously improve their abilities and the quality of their teaching. The madrasah principal uses an open and inclusive approach to encourage all teachers and employees to participate in the decision-making process. MIN 1 Medan has good teacher resources in terms of academic qualifications and teaching experience. The average teacher has an educational background of S1 Education and 5-10 years of teaching experience. Overall, the madrasah principal at MIN 1 Medan City is very good at implementing Islamic education management and improving teacher professionalism. The madrasah principal can create an excellent educational environment where all teachers and students can develop optimally with inclusive leadership, support and the ability to overcome challenges.
