Abstract

In general, Islam came to the archipelago because it was brought by traders from various countries who had embraced Islam first. Like the Islamic heritage belonging to KH Sulaiman Bin Abdurrahman Delamat where he came to Pangkalan Balai to spread Islam and left traces of heritage that became cultural heritage and many pilgrims came to pay Nazar and he was a hero of independence in Sumatra. The author uses a qualitative research method that is produced from interviews and direct documentation by conducting observations at the location of the tomb located on Jalan Kelurahan Kendodong Raye,Banyuasine, Banyuasin III District, Banyuasin Regency 111. There are two results that will be discussed by the researcher, namely the first background of KH Sulaiman bin KH Abdurrahman Delamat and the spreader of Islamic religious knowledge in Pangkalan Balai

Abstract

The rapid development of Islam in Indonesia since its inception until now cannot be separated from the role of Islamic Religious Education institutions. If you look at the beginning of the entry of Islam into Indonesia in the 13th century through trade and da'wah of merchants from the Middle East and Gujarat, Islamic educational institutions have undergone several changes in name or form. Consequences of changes in social conditions and the development of science and technology starting from Islamic education still uses the Hindu education pattern, the establishment of educational institutions based on Islamic technology today. Among the classical Islamic educational institutions that still exist to now including Surau, Dayah, Islamic Boarding School, meunasah, Madrasah, and others. Exist several Islamic educational institutions that are no longer found, there are several still standing but experiencing a decline in function that managed to survive by adapting to the guidance of the era. One of the institutions of classical Islamic education is able to develop in accordance with The development of the times is a boarding school. This is evidenced by the existence of Islamic boarding schools with a variety of special sciences that are integrated with Islamic educational values.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between religious awareness and sexual harassment behavior among students at Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Rohmah Sooko. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire involving 35 respondents and analyzed using Pearson's correlation test. The results show that the majority of the students have a high level of religious awareness, with an average score of 62, while sexual harassment-related behavior also shows significant figures, with an average score of 38.4. The correlation test indicates a positive relationship between religious awareness and understanding of sexual harassment behavior (r = 0.344, p = 0.043), although this relationship is considered low. These findings contradict the initial hypothesis, which expected a negative relationship between the two variables. This study suggests the need for a multidimensional approach in religious education and sexual harassment prevention, including curriculum development covering religious awareness topics and training to recognize signs of sexual harassment, as well as creating a safe and supportive environment in educational institutions and society.

Abstract

Social media addiction is increasingly a concern because of its great potential to affect aspects of the life of the individual himself, including on the spiritual dimension of a person. This study aims to examine the relationship between social media addiction and spiritual level in students of Al-Qur'an An-Nawawiy High School. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the two variables, namely social media addiction and the spiritual level of students. Students who are more addicted to social media tend to have lower spiritual levels. However, it should also be emphasized that this is not the main factor, there are different factors behind each individual. These findings underscore the importance of awareness in the balanced use of social media to maintain spiritual balance in adolescents, especially students in religious education environments. This research contributes to the understanding of the impact of social media on the spiritual aspect, as well as provides a basis for the development of Steps taken to appropriately influence the situation in the context of religious education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how religious learning outcomes affect violent behavior among students at SMP Karya Gedeg Mojokerto. Using a quantitative approach that employs a correlational method, data was collected through a questionnaire focused on violent behavior, in addition to students' religious learning outcomes sourced from their report cards. The study population consisted of all eighth grade students and a portion of ninth grade students, with a purposive sample of 30 students selected for analysis. The results of this study show that students' average religious learning outcomes fall into the high category, with a score of (91.07), while their average violent behavior is categorized as moderate with a score of (23.87). A significant positive correlation was identified between students' religious learning outcomes and violent behavior through the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, resulting in a value of r=0.362 and p=0.049. This suggests that as students achieve higher results in religious learning, there is a tendency for violent behavior to increase, although the correlation remains at a low level. This research shows that factors beyond religious learning outcomes play a role in shaping students' violent behavior. Contributing elements include external influences such as the social environment and parenting in the family. This study recommends improving religious education that focuses on the values of tolerance and conflict resolution, as well as encouraging collaboration between schools and parents to foster a supportive learning atmosphere. This research is expected to provide efforts to prevent violence in the school environment.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the significance of Ilmu Kalam as a tool for moral and ethical education in guiding youth in the modern era. Facing increasing moral challenges, today's younger generation requires an educational approach to instill strong moral values. This study aims to examine the role of Ilmu Kalam in moral and ethical education and its influence on character development among youth. Using a qualitative approach, this research employs library research to gather and analyze relevant literature. The findings reveal that integrating Ilmu Kalam into the formal education curriculum can boost students' moral and ethical awareness, motivating them to actively engage in social activities. The study concludes that applying Ilmu Kalam in education significantly contributes to shaping ethical and responsible individuals. This research recommends educational institutions integrate Ilmu Kalam into their curriculum as a strategic measure to guide and enlighten the younger generation.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era is characterized by the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data into daily life to improve human quality of life. In education, this transformation presents both challenges and opportunities to combine technological advancements with humanistic values, particularly in multicultural societies like Indonesia. This article aims to explore how ukhuwah values Islamiyah, insaniyah, and wathaniyah can be strengthened through technology-based multicultural education in the Society 5.0 era. This research employs a library research method, analyzing scholarly literature and reliable sources on technology, multicultural education, and ukhuwah values. The findings indicate that technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), online learning platforms, and social media can create interactive and collaborative cross-cultural learning experiences. These technologies not only foster tolerance and solidarity but also help students understand and appreciate cultural diversity. However, challenges such as the digital divide, low digital literacy, and cultural homogenization risks must be addressed through comprehensive strategies. These include developing multicultural curricula, providing teacher training, and improving digital literacy. This article provides new insights for educators, policymakers, and academics in creating inclusive, relevant, and ethical education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to find out whether there is a relationship between quranic personality and academic resilience in the final students of Bukittinggi class of 2020 who are writing their theses. In this study, the sample was all Bukittinggi students with a total research sample of 100 students. The measuring instruments used in this research are the academic resilience scale and the koranic personality scale. The scale was processed using statistics with the help of a statistical computer program with the help of a computer program in the form of statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 29.0 for windows. In this research, the data analysis used is the person product moment statistical test. Product moment correlation is used to see the relationship between Al-Quranic personality and academic resilience in Bukittinggi students. The research results show that there is no significant correlation between the quranic personality variables and academic resilience. It is known that the calculated r value (person correlations) for the Quranic personality relationship (X) is -0.059 > r table 0.195. So it can be concluded that there is no relationship or correlation between the quranic personality variable and academic resilience.

Abstract

Duha prayer is one of the habituation activities before learning which is carried out at SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya. The habit of praying Duha prayer is carried out with the aim that students are accustomed to carrying it out regularly, both at home and at school, and also aims to form religious character in students. With the Duha prayer, it is hoped that it can grow characters that are following the elements of the Pancasila student profile. This study was carried out to know the effectiveness of the habituation of the duha prayer carried out at SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya. A descriptive quantitative method was used with questionnaires and interviews to collect data from students and teachers regarding the habit of praying duha. The results showed that the habit of praying duha prayer was more effective than before, namely at the beginning of the study. Although it can be said to be effective, the habit of praying duha still needs to be improved so that its effectiveness can be increased even more.

Abstract

In order to help leaders develop the quality of the Ahlul Qur'an Tahfizh House, this study tries to ascertain how the dimensions of social sensitivity, social insight, and social communication have actually been implemented. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design and used observation, interviews and documentation as data collection methods. Data reduction, data presentation, and data verification are the stages of analysis used. The results of this study indicate that: first, there is an actualization or real embodiment of the social sensitivity dimension in the form of empathy, social sensitivity, showing respect and giving appreciation to ustadz/ustadzah and students of the Tahfizh Ahlul Qur'an House. Second, there is the actualization of the social insight dimension in the form of the ability to handle the problems faced. Third, there is the actualization of the social communication dimension in the form of the ability to establish communication with the residents of the Ahlul Qur'an Tahfizh House in order to achieve the goals of the institution. These forms of actualization are a way to be able to develop the quality of the Ahlul Qur'an Tahfizh House.
