Ecotourism is an alternative form of tourism, which is formed as a reaction to various negative impacts of traditional tourism by making a trip to a natural or conservation area that supports environmental sustainability. Development of mangrove ecotourism is very important for humans and mangrove forests itself to prevent the damage of coastal areas. With the existence of ecotourism, it is expected to encourage the development and preservation of mangrove forests that have high value. The development of the ecotourism along with the local community can develop tourism objects while preserving mangrove forests. Mempawah Mangrove Park (MMP) is a tourist site for mangrove forests in Desa Pasir, Kecamatan Mempawah Hilir, Kabupaten Mempawah.This study aims to determine the impact of mangrove ecotourism on the socio-economic aspect of Desa Pasir Mempawah Hilir society. The method that will be used in this research is descriptive. Data collection techniques that will be used are observation, interview, and documentation. The data collection tools that will be used in this research are the observation guide, interview guide, and documentation. Data analysis will be data reduction, data display, and verification.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the behaviour problems of trainees in Community- Based Rehabilitation (CBR) related to hyperactive. This study involved a trainee named Fariz from one of the Community-Based Rehabilitation. Observation method was used in this study to be recorded for two weeks about the hyperactive behaviour shown. Various activities were held to find out how the impact of the trainee’s involvement in order to maintain his focus span. The finding of this study shows that there was a positive feedback regarding the less hyperactive behaviour shown by the trainee when given a role or work. This study also recommended other suggestions to reduce the hyperactive behaviors among children with learning disabilities.

Students, particularly in senior high school often state that they like instructors who employ active learning strategies to get students engaged with the class topic. Sometimes, large teaching classes are difficult to get students to participate in classroom activities and assess whether they are truly learning or not. It is why providing a game is an appropriate way to create a fun and interactive engagement for students to learn and comprehend the information. “The value of games as a vehicle for teaching concepts while inspiring students is now well accepted at almost all levels of education” Becker (2001). Kahoot is known as a technology-based instructional tool, it is a popular eLearning tool that easily can be used to add vitality, student engagement, and meta-cognitive supports with limited instructor or student training required. This study aims to analyze the use of Kahoot in engaging students’ active response in learning English. This is a classroom action research. Descriptive analysis is conducted to gain the students action and response during teaching and learning processes proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart in Hopkins (2008). The subjects of this study are twelve grade students of SMAN 1 Serawai, Kabupaten Sintang.

This study is based on the importance of conducting an in-dept study of the characters of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup story of Dayak Kanayatn’s oral literature. This story narrates an attempt made by Baruakng to bring paddy into the earth which was full of obstacles so that he was named Ne’ Baruakng Kulup. The life dynamic of Baruakng is interesting to study more in-depth by using the study of narrative structure based on the thinking of A.J. Greimas. This qualitative study was focused on three important elements, namely: (1) the actantial scheme and functional structure in the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup; (2) the correlation between the actantial scheme and the functional structure in the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup; and (3) Compiling a lecture plan of the Prose Study by applying the results of Actantial study on the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup. The results of this study indicate that there are 14 actantial schemes and 14 functional structures. Four actant schemes and 4 perfect functional structures and 10 actant schemes, and 10 imperfect functional structures. The main actant scheme lies in scheme 6. There a correlationrelationship between the actant scheme and the functional structure. The character of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup is a hero in the story analyzed. In accordance with this, a Semester Lecture Plan has been designed for Prose Study by implementing an actantial analysis based on A.J. Greimas on the tale of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup in practicing analyzing folklore.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of Field Experience Practice (PPL) for Student Guidance and Counseling Study Program FKIP UNTAN Pontianak 2017 The method used is Descriptive with the form of survey research. The evaluation technique used is CIPP (contetx, input, process, product). The population of 2017 PPL participants was 49 people. Data collection tools used are questionnaires with structured questionnaires with open questions and interviews if there is a questionable questionnaire result. Research results in general implementation of PPL in schools has been effective even though it has not been maximized. The results of context evaluation have been very good, BK teachers in most schools have been very good. The results of context evaluation are very effective, which means that students have been carefully prepared by the institution to implement PPL. Process evaluation is in the category of quite effective because there are still many schools that do not provide class schedules for BK activities and the opportunity to practice in some schools is still lacking. Evaluation of results in conditions is very effective because the value of students gets more "A" and the satisfaction of students in carrying out activities in school is quite satisfied.

Teaching materials are needed in teaching-learning activities in the classroom because materials have been considered as the only way to supply enriched input in the language classroom. Nowadays, technology has had a major impact, especially on education. Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), particularly educational software, to facilitate the learning and teaching process has become a more and more popular trend among teachers. The aim of this article is to explore the merits and demerits designing of Hot Potatoes as teaching material in the classroom in order to motivate EFL learners in learning simple past tense towards the interactive exercises. Hot Potatoes is popular software which can be conveniently used to create interactive Web-based educational exercises. Some of the advantages of hot-potatoes are: Enable teachers to create small exercises to practice and it can be linked to a listening or reading text to make a complete comprehension exercise.

Kepala sekolah adalah seorang tenaga fungsional guru yang diberikan tugas untuk memimpin suatu sekolah dimana diselenggarakan proses belajar mengajar. Kepala sekolah haruslah memiliki kemampuan sepadan dengan kecakapan, kepandaian atau skill, dan management. Sekolah sebagai lembaga tempat penyelenggaraan pendidikan, merupakan sistem yang memiliki sumber daya fisik maupun non fisik, yang salah satunya adalah guru dan kurikulum. Untuk mencapai syarat sekolah yang mandiri tersebut tentunya dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang mampu memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan sekolah dengan managemen yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam membawa perubahan untuk sekolah yang lebih baik salah satunya penerapan sistem moving class. Adapun tujuan diadakannya penerapan moving class yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan disiplin, keterampilan, keberanian dan dapat memotivasi.

Laboratorium merupakan wadah dalam penunjang kelengkapan akademik dalam nenunjang pembelajaran sains khusus nya IPA, hal ini meliputi mata pelajaran fisika, kimia, biologi. Melihat penting nya hal tersebut dalam hal kwalitas dari pembelajaran tersebut, untuk itu di perlukan pengelolaan yang terstandarisasi baik dari ketersediaan peralatan laboratorium sekolah perlu perhatian khusus.berdasarkan pengamatan penulis laboratorium yang belum memenuhi standar baik dari guru maupun tenaga kependidikan yang di tunjuk sebagai pengelola laboratorium .keterkaitan dalam hal ini dianggap perlu dalam hal adanya pelatihan pengelolaan laboratorium tersebut, guna memperoleh keefektifan pengelolaan laboratorium yang menghasilkan keefektifan pembelajaran IPA yang dapat di lihat dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian,pelaksanaan,pengawasan dan evaluasi dari hasil ujian khusus nya bidang studi IPA dan lomba olyviade kreatifitas peserta didik.dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan kualitatif.

Data pokok industri menengah Kabupaten Bengkayang pada sektor industri formal mencapai 135 unit usaha dengan jumlah tenaga kerja sebanyak 315 orang sedangkan untuk sektor industri non formal 170 unit usaha yang mampu menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak 444 orang. Namun jika dicermati dari sektor industri formal maupun non formal tersebut masih banyak potensi jenis industri yang belum tergarap secara maksimal. Kajian Strategi Pengembangan Entrepreneurship di Kabupaten Bengkayang ini dilakukan dengan dua strategis pendekatan yaitu strategi jalur pengusaha dan jalur pendidikan menengah kejuruan sebagai upaya memacu tumbuhnya para pengusaha baru.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kajian strategi pendekatan jalur pengusaha dijalankan dengan menggali keunggulan potensi utama daerah setiap Kecamatan berdasarkan kriteria penilaian sentra produk One Village One Product (OVOP) yang mengandung 22 aspek. Kajian strategi pengembangan entrepreneurship melalui jalur pendidikan kejuruan dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berwawasan kewirausahaan dengan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory 3M.

Pencapaian bagi mahasiswa tidak hanya melibatkan pelaksanaan tes kemampuan atau ketrampilan tetapi juga harus melibatkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini akan meneliti kepentingan mahasiswa untuk mampu mencapai kemajuan dalam kemampuan dan ketrampilan bahasa Inggris minimal seperti yang telah ditentukan oleh lembaga. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang datanya diperoleh dari mahasiswa Semester 5 dan 7 di lingkungan FKIP Universitas. Sampel respondennya diambil secara acak untuk mewakili seluruh jurusan di FKIP. Datanya dianalisis untuk mendapatkan nilai rerata skala dari pilihan responden terhadap pilihan yang disediakan dalam kuesiner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat menyetujui layanan kebahasaan untuk dikelola oleh ULB dan dilaksanakan di FKIP. Mereka juga sangat setuju dengan program pelatihan dan tes yang dirancang oleh ULB.
