Abstract

Pada mata pelajaran IPA, ilmu kelistrikan merupakan satu dari sekian banyak bidang ilmu yang diajarkan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep ilmu kelistrikan, diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang yang mencakup kegiatan praktikum. Upaya sekolah dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran praktikum, tentu harus didukung dengan ketersediaan modul praktikum. Beberapa sekolah, terutama sekolah dengan sumber daya terbatas, tentunya akan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyediakan modul praktikum. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Institut Teknologi Telkom Surabaya mengadakan program kegiatan, yang mencakup pembuatan modul praktikum dan pelatihan rangkaian listrik seri-paralel. Tentunya, kegiatan telah disesuaikan dengan kurikulum sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah berhasil dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai ilmu kelistrikan, terutama dalam rangkaian listrik seri-paralel. Peningkatan pemahaman ini tercermin dari hasil tes pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Beberapa peningkatan tersebut tercermin dari peningkatan minat belajar siswa terhadap ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, antusiasme dan partisipasi siswa, serta kegiatan yang terlaksana secara interaktif.

Abstract

The background of partner selection is based on the situation analysis that students at the school are still not fluent in calculating corporate income tax 21. So that it requires additional understanding of this matter. To overcome the lack of ability of these students, the service team from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Lancang Kuning University offered a solution to provide education about PPh 21 corporate tax. And it was welcomed by the school. The purpose of this service is to improve the ability of students majoring in accounting at SMKN 1 Tapung in calculating income tax This service was carried out on 15 August 2023 at SMKN 1 Tapung. This service was carried out on 15 August 2023 at SMKN 1 Tapung. To achieve the service objectives that have been previously stated, the implementation of this community service activity is carried out with a systematic method, which begins with the preparation stage, namely discussing with the school regarding what the current needs of students are and formulating the solutions provided. After that, enter the second stage, namely the implementation stage, at this stage the team provides education about corporate income tax 21 to students. This stage was attended by 29 students majoring in accounting. At this stage, students are directly involved in tax calculations so that students understand more about the concepts and how the calculation of PPh 21 Corporate tax applies in Indonesia. The last stage is evaluation, where this stage is one of the most important. Evaluation is intended to measure the success of this service. Evaluation is measured by giving questionnaires before and after the service. The results of the questionnaire from 29 students showed a significant improvement, and it can be concluded that this service was successful. As a continuation, it is hoped that the school can continue to educate students about the tax regulation updates. Because as is known, the regulations regarding taxes are constantly evolving

Abstract

PKK members need to take advantage of their opportunities and potential to run a family business professionally. This community service (PPM) aims to motivate and increase the entrepreneurial spirit of PKK cadres to run a family business so that it can improve welfare. PPM is carried out with technical training in the form of lectures, discussions, practices, and assistance on family business management, which is carried out at the Village Hall and visits to production sites. The training participants consisted of 25 cadres and 10 Dasa Wisma. The implementation time is for 4 (four) months, namely from September to December 2023. The results show an increased understanding of the use of business opportunities, entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to change to meet the demands of competition. Furthermore, support from the village government, and PKK Administrators. Village-owned enterprises (VOEs), and universities were needed to improve management capabilities, facilitate PIRT and halal certification, as well as assist in managing family businesses. The importance of this PPM is to provide knowledge, motivation, and assistance so that family businesses are guaranteed sustainability.

Abstract

UMKM plays an important role in the Indonesian economy as it contributes significantly, in the formation of gross domestic product and labour absorption. In Pontianak City there is a tourist village of Kampong Melayu BML located in the Pontiak South Prefecture, Pontian City, West Kalimantan. Right next to the Kapuas River, Kampong Melayu BML not only offers a beautiful panorama of nature, but also a history of many cultures with different tribal backgrounds (Kemenparekraf, 2022). Kampong Melayu Tourism Village BML has become one of the important bases in developing small and medium-sized enterprises that have the potential to generate quality economic growth. The purpose of this PKM activity is to have an understanding of the basic concepts and the importance of financial literacy in business as well as an understanding about the planning and management of financial good and correct. With the existence of training in financial literature for UMKM participants in the Village Tourism of Malay Village Pontianak, it is expected to create a stronger and more sustainable business environment. From the knowledge and skills acquired, they will become more independent entrepreneurs and able to face challenges in the world of tourism business.

Abstract

This service aims to reduce disaster risk in Batulaya Village through participatory mapping of threats, vulnerabilities and risks using three-dimensional media. Observation, participatory, and data analysis methods are used to obtain detailed information and in accordance with the condition of resources and carrying capacity in disaster mitigation steps. The results of this community service show that Batulaya Village is vulnerable to disasters, especially fires, and the community is less prepared to face disasters. Through participatory mapping, the integration of local knowledge and scientific methods can help reduce disaster risk. The results of this mapping activity can later be used as a basis for further disaster risk reduction efforts.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas staf pemerintah daerah (pemda) Toraja Utara dalam menyusun indikator kinerja berbasis strategi SMART. Metode yang digunakan mencakup Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pre-test, dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan atas kemampuan staf dalam merancang indikator kinerja yang memenuhi kaidah SMART. Kontribusi kegiatan ini adalah membantu staf pemerintah dalam menyusun anggaran yang lebih terukur dan jelas, sehingga mempermudah evaluasi ketercapaian kinerja organisasi. Dengan demikian, strategi SMART dapat menjadi alat penting dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan anggaran kinerja di Pemda Toraja Utara. Penerapan pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan kapasitas staf dalam menyusun anggaran yang lebih efektif dan berorientasi pada hasil. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang indikator kinerja, staf diharapkan mampu merumuskan dan mengalokasikan anggaran secara lebih tepat, yang pada gilirannya akan mendukung pencapaian visi dan misi organisasi

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical location makes it a potential country to experience natural disasters. As a vulnerable group, children need to receive information on preparedness for natural disasters. Therefore, the community service team designed and implemented the "PETACANA” as a disaster psychoeducation program at the school level. PETACANA aims to increase students' awareness of the risks of natural disasters and their impacts, as well as increase students' knowledge about mitigation and preparedness in facing them. The PETACANA was implemented at SDN Kalipang 01 Blitar on June 17th, 2023 involving 60 students from grades IV and V in elementary school. The program was carried out through lecture, group discussions, and creating disaster education posters. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that the PETACANA Program was significantly increased students' knowledge regarding risks, impacts, mitigation, and preparedness in facing natural disasters. Thus, schools need to implement disaster education programs to increase students' preparedness in facing disasters.

Abstract

Teachers, as educational personnel, are expected to enhance their competence in mastering information technology, which can later be utilized in classroom learning activities. However, in reality, teachers' knowledge and skills in mastering technology to support teaching and learning activities are still limited. Based on a survey conducted, teachers at SD Indriyasana, Baleendah, are eager to gain knowledge and skills in using open-source applications, such as Chat GPT, Gemini AI, and MajickPen AI, to support their tasks, both in teaching and administrative duties. Therefore, training and mentoring are needed in learning the use of these open-source applications to support teachers' activities. The aim of this training is to introduce and train teachers at SD Indriyasana, Baleendah, in using open-source applications based on artificial intelligence (AI), such as Chat GPT, Gemini AI, and MajickPen AI, to support teaching and administrative tasks. The method used involves training, direct practice by teachers, guided by speakers and instructors using AI-based open-source applications, namely ChatGPT, Gemini AI, and MajickPen. The implementation method includes the following steps: 1) user needs analysis, 2) literature study, 3) training module development, 4) module testing, 5) training implementation, 6) evaluation. The training results indicate that teachers acquired knowledge and practical experience in line with their needs, enabling them to use AI-based applications (Chat GPT, Gemini AI, and MajickPen AI) to support learning and administrative activities. It can be said that the training went well, as shown by the questionnaire results: 1) alignment of the training program with objectives (94%), 2) alignment of the program with partners' needs (71%), 3) adequacy of program implementation time (65%), 4) team’s ability to execute the program (88%), and 5) program sustainability (77%). This training activity is beneficial for both teachers and students because it can make learning more interesting and enjoyable for students. By utilizing AI-based applications, teachers can generate ideas for learning activities, create quizzes, or provide relevant and up-to-date teaching materials, thereby facilitating class preparation and easing teachers' administrative tasks.

Abstract

Preparation of financial statements must be in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards. Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (FAS for MSME) is one of the financial accounting standards that is simple and easy to implement by MSMEs. Graduates of Vocational Accounting Department who later work in MSMEs are expected to be able to assist MSMEs in making financial reports according to standards. Community service aims to build students' awareness of the importance of FAS for MSME, to provide knowledge about the rules in FAS for MSME, to prepare financial reports, and to utilize and use excel-based technology to make financial reports according to FAS for MSME. This training starts from the preparation stage, namely a preliminary survey, determining the schedule, and preparing the training. The implementation stage is the implementation of training activities in the form of material and practice as well as participant evaluation in the form of pre-test post-test assessment and practice results. Furthermore, the final stage is the evaluation of training and the preparation of reports and outcomes. The training was conducted using training and mentoring methods for students majoring in accounting to prepare financial reports according to FAS for MSME with excel applications. This training activity was held in the hall and computer laboratory of SMKN 44 Jakarta. The training was attended by 34 students. This community service activity runs smoothly and has achieved its goals. This is indicated by the results that 100% of students have obtained an increase in hardskill competencies, namely being able to prepare financial reports according to FAS for MSME using the excel application

Abstract

Students of the Faculty of Syariah and Law at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) hold a strategic position as pioneers of social change in various aspects of life. Social issues that advocate for justice, welfare, and equal rights present significant challenges for these students. This is particularly true in matters of gender equality and justice, which have become widely discussed topics over the past two decades across all sectors. Indeed, social justice and quality of life stem from a prosperous family, known as a sakinah family. Through mentoring and education on gender equality fiqh, USIM students are encouraged to have the same platform, knowledge, and experience in responding to various social inequalities caused by gender-biased values. Based on data analysis, there has been a significant change among USIM students, who initially doubted the importance of gender equality approaches in resolving various family issues, becoming more open and determined to plan actions to introduce the concept of a sakinah family based on gender equality fiqh within their families and communities.
