Abstract

As an area that has the largest peatland on the island of Sumatra, various problems occured on peatlands in Riau Province. Forest fires that have an impact on public health and damage to the peat ecosystem due to inappropriate land use are examples of these problems. The Pekanbaru State Forestry Vocational School was chosen as a place for counseling, because this institution will produce forestry technical personnel who have environmental insight. It is necessary to give them material about the condition of peatlands in Riau Province where they are currently located. It is hoped that after they graduate, they will have sufficient insight and knowledge about peatland cultivation and conservation. Students seemed enthusiastic to see the presentation of the material as well as pictures and videos about the condition of peatlands in Riau. This was followed by a discussion forum and question and answer session. To measure the success of this activity, students fill out a short questionnaire containing questions about their understanding of the material provided. From the results of the questionnaire, students seemed to understand the importance of knowledge about peatlands, and were committed to maintaining their sustainability.

Abstract

YPK Imanuel Pasir Putih High School is an educational institution under the auspices of the Christian Education Foundation in Papua, located in Pasir Putih, Manokwari Regency, West Papua Province. There are still many active teenagers without paying attention to health protocols in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Purpose: to form the YPK Imanuel Pasir Putih Manokwari High School Covid-19 Prevention Task Force, youth knowledge about Covid-19 prevention, explaining the importance of youth health. Methods Implementation of the training through the stages of assessment, implementation and evaluation. The training participants were 30 teenage students, BP and UKS teachers. Implementation time is three days July 28-30 2022. Results 30 youth, BP and UKS teachers understand and can demonstrate how the tasks and functions of the Covid-19 prevention task force are for youth, the simulation is carried out by each group according to the roleplay task as well as practising in the school environment every learning process, the formation of the Covid-19 Prevention Task Force. The conclusion was that a co-19 prevention task force had been formed, and youth understood the importance of health during a pandemic, implementing health protocols at YPK Imanuel Pasir Putih Manokwari High School.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is one of the agricultural centers in East Java Province and nationally. Especially for vegetable horticultural commodities, several products have been able to become regional superiors and are able to penetrate the national market such as chili, eggplant, and mustard greens. In addition, the productivity of vegetable horticulture has increased from year to year. One of the MSMEs engaged in horticulture is Senja Farm. Senja Farm has a specific activity in producing hydroponic vegetables. These vegetables are cultivated and are able to produce healthier vegetables because they are minimal in pesticide residues. Hydroponic vegetables are vegetables that are grown with the help of liquids containing minerals needed by vegetables to grow through a process that is highly guarded by the method and place of planting and does not require soil. The use of pesticides in hydroponic planting techniques is also not necessary to protect against insect pests. This has an impact on the yield of hydroponic plants in the form of organic food. Consumption of organic vegetables in Banyuwangi has a trend that tends to increase so it is very potential to be developed. However, the hydroponic process at Senja Farm still relies on plant media derived from livestock compost and seedling media using plastic (polybag). The purpose of this PKM is to utilize bagasse waste through the use of bio-seeding blocks as planting media and as a substitute for seedling media. The output targets of this PKM activity are in the form of products submitted to partners, publications in national journals with ISSN, publications in print media and in the form of videos of the implementation of activities.

Abstract

The city of Bandung has partners who have contributed to the community's food security. One of the partners is the Bestari Farmer Group, which is located in a densely populated area and has the potential to develop. However, partners have problems including, 1). The product is not yet known to the market. 2). There is no attractive packaging. 3). Bookkeeping and financial reporting have not been managed properly. 4). Do not have regular planting and harvesting schedules. 5). lack of knowledge related to greenhouses and hydroponics 6). Management of chicken livestock is less than optimal. 7). The management of catfish livestock is less than optimal. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to increase the ability and knowledge of partners to be able to market their products and assist in increasing productivity with optimal financial bookkeeping. The methods in this program are training, practice, mentoring, focus group discussions, and evaluation. The results show that seven programs have been implemented that are solutions to the identified problems. Partners are ultimately able to understand and carry out digital-based financial and marketing records and increase the productivity of farming and livestock businesses.

Abstract

Hospital health facilities are required to complete BPJS claim documents before submitting them to BPJS Health to get reimbursement for treatment costs according to the Indonesian Case Base Groups (INA-CBG's) rates. The BPJS claim process already uses the INA-CBGs program. With this payment method, the accuracy of clinical and procedure code data determines the financing of health services. Service of Community Activities (PKM) aim to provide education regarding ICD-10 coding regulations in minimizing cases of pending claims that occur at Aisyiyah General Hospital, Padang. This PKM did at Aisyiyah Hospital Padang on 06-07 October 2022 Service of Community in the form of outreach regarding the urgency of using the ICD-10 then followed up in the form of practicing ICD-10 coding cases of pending claims to partners. This activity was attended by 18 participants from the medical team and case-mix. Result of pre-test and post-test showed, increasing the team's understanding of ICD-10 coding regulations and cases pending claims.

Abstract

Because technological developments are increasing on a daily, the purpose of this service is to inform about the importance of innovating in information technology-based learning and evaluation. The service method uses a workshop for teachers of public and private middle schools throughout the Telukjambe Karawang Commissariat Area, which is framed in a guidance and counseling activity on learning media. A perception questionnaire about the teacher's interest in developing internet-based learning media is used as the instrument. The results of this dedication found that teachers were so very high to innovate in the learning process and evaluation of learning. but, on average, convey the same perception constraints, Namely, there is a lack of facilities and infrastructure for conducting internet-based learning and evaluation, the internet network has not been evenly distributed to school locations in the regions, and school principals is support and low motivation of providing internet facilities.

Abstract

North Musi Rawas Regency, based on the results of the 2021 SSGI, is in 5th place for the Regency with the highest stunted toddler prevalence in South Sumatra, which is 28.3%. The results of the situation analysis based on PK21 data show that 12.8% of people there are at high risk of experiencing stunting. One of the efforts that can be made to accelerate the reduction of stunting rates is through university assistance. By the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021, Musi Rawas University assists in the form of family assistance. This program has carried out by students for one month using counseling and mediation methods. The education provided is in the form of sensitive interventions, including environmental hygiene, using healthy latrines, the importance of clean and healthy water sources, and the importance of parenting patterns in the family. This mentoring activity increased 15% number of visits by toddlers to posyandu, which means that the community is starting to understand the importance of routinely monitoring children's health to prevent stunting

Abstract

SARS-Cov-2 is a new virus that causes respiratory diseases that can cause health problems. Consuming foods with balanced and safe nutrition can boost the immune system and reduce the risk of disease.Community service through a community partnership program is carried out by implementing balanced nutrition training using booklets and balanced nutrition cards in Batu Merah Village. The training participants were 15 Dahlia Posyandu cadres in Batu Merah Village. Booklets as a communication medium for health education can increase the average knowledge and attitudes of mothers about choosing healthy and nutritious food. This activity adds insight into the participants' thinking that being healthy is not always expensive, but it can be realized by consuming a variety of foods that are cheap and easy to obtain practical and can be applied every day.

Abstract

The community service program in Sasak Panjang Village, Bogor Regency, started with an assessment of the problems and potency of the village. These problems are the lack of close access to health care services and the failure to cultivate Family Medicinal Plants (FMP). According to The Ministry of Education and Culture program focus in 2022, it is necessary to carry out community service activities to increase the independence of public health efforts. Therefore, a community service program was performed through education, training, and mentoring for FMP cultivation to solve these problems. The success indicator of this activity was that the communities in Sasak Panjang were trained to cultivate the FMP (adlay, roselle, and stevia), and all crops could grow well. The outcome of this program is likely to encourage the independence of local community health initiatives in Sasak Panjang Village, Bogor Regency.
