Abstract

This research focuses on formulating how religious groups in Indonesia interact about differences in interpretation between the two schools of fiqh and Sufism. To examine the differences between the two schools of thought, a comparative method (muqâranat) is used, which analyzes how each school of thought interprets verses that discuss relationships between different religions. This research uses a thematic (maudlâ'î) and analytical (tahlîlî) approach in its investigation. Data sources were obtained from interpretations of the Qur'an and hadith related to school and community relations management. The variations used include those representing the Maliki school of thought: al-Jâmi' li Ahkâm al-Qur'ân by al-Qurthûbî and Ahkâm al-Qur'ân by Ibn al-'Arab. As for representing the interpretation of fiqh among the Hanafi school of thought, Ahkâm al-Qur'ân by al-Jashshâsh. Data analysis was done on two arrangements by contrasting the two interpretation patterns in interpreting verses about interactions between religious communities. The findings of this research show that in the interpretation of fiqh, the performance of poems related to forms of interaction between religious communities tends to be exclusive and discriminatory. The findings of this research support the opinion of Abdulaziz Sachedina and Abd. Muqsith Ghazali believes that fiqh scholars are responsible for implementing the law.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted various aspects of life. Economy and education are the two sectors of life most affected. This article aims to analyze education policy in Indonesia in facing the global pandemic. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained through public policy documentation techniques in the education sector. The data obtained was then analyzed using the public policy theory content analysis method. Analysis of this study found that in the education policy formulation stage, the government, through the Ministry of Education (Kemendikbud), collaborated with various parties (multi-stakeholders) to guarantee the community's fundamental rights to access education. However, it was found that the policies that had been realized still needed to be revised in society. Thus, many people still do not have the right to a good education. For example, regarding quota distribution policies, areas with minimal signal, the ability to operate media, and other digital infrastructure. Realizing this, Indonesia's education policy in the education sector during the pandemic used a collaborative-participatory model. The Ministry of Education collaborates with other ministries or agencies to ensure that education implementation regulations are implemented in the public domain evenly and fairly.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the requisite competence levels of educators in adapting to the era of Artificial Intelligence and identify the challenges that educators encounter in effectively responding to this technological epoch. The present research uses literature review techniques to gain insights. The data for this study is sourced from various documents, including scholarly articles, conference proceedings, books, research reports, and online news publications. Content analysis is employed as the principal method of data analysis to derive meaningful conclusions. The findings of this investigation underscore the pivotal role of teacher competence in navigating the landscape of Artificial Intelligence. Educators must possess professional, pedagogical, personal, and social competencies to effectively engage with the Artificial Intelligence era. Furthermore, educators must demonstrate proficiency in harnessing digital technology for instructional purposes, creating digital-based educational resources, and adeptly utilizing search engines to curate relevant materials. This imperative stems from the contemporary student demographic, often called digital natives, who are inextricably linked to digital technology, particularly within social media. Significantly, the Artificial Intelligence era has brought to light a predicament for educators, potentially impeding the efficacy of classroom-based instruction. Instruction of inadequate teacher competence, particularly in pedagogical skills and the utilization of digital technology, can engender a monotonous learning experience, consequently diminishing students' enthusiasm for the educational process.
