Abstract

Students have a significant role in the success of a lesson. Students' success is in the hands of educators who guide them to understand, solve, make decisions, be responsible, and become independent human beings. Hence, this research focuses on Counseling Teacher Efforts, whose leading task indicator is being able to provide services to students. This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach, types of case studies, data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observation, data analysis using Miles Huberman's theory, and checking the validity of the data by triangulation. This research resulted in counselling teacher guidance efforts with an emotional and spiritual quotient (ESQ) in collaboration with religion teachers (continuous subject integration) and with outbound parenting efforts through scheduled extracurriculars. This study expands its setting and orientation by integrating subjects in the process, demonstrating the role of the Counseling Teacher, as exceptional cases illustrate the need for combined training.

Abstract

This paper specifically discusses the integration of the Islamic boarding school education system with the teachings of the Qadariyah wa Naqsabandiyah order practised by the Palembang Aulia Cendekia Islamic boarding school and its impact on religious moderation education for the Palembang Muslim community. This research was conducted at the Qadariyah wa Naqsabandiyah congregation in Palembang, located at the Aulia Cendikia Islamic Boarding School. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. This research found that by carrying out the teachings of the Qadariyah wa Naqsabandiyah order, a person will gain a deep love for God; the reflection of love for God is to love all of His creation so that with that love gives birth to an attitude of tolerance, compassion, and ends in an attitude of mutual respect between humans. In addition, it was also found that by practising the teachings of the Qadariyah wa Naqsabandiyah order, at the same time, one has implemented the three pillars of religious moderation; moderation of thought, movement, and deed. The dynamic dialogue between text and context implements thought moderation. Movement moderation is reflected in Islamic da'wah, or disseminating Islamic teachings with courtesy, compassion, and gentleness. Meanwhile, the moderation of actions is manifested by integrating the tarekat values ??with education.

Abstract

This study explores students' understanding before and after applying the jarimatics method in learning mathematics, considering Islamic educational models or perspectives. This objective involves understanding how the jarimatics method can enrich an Islamic education-based learning approach and identifying its impact on improving students' numeracy skills in basic number operations. The research method uses quantitative research. The number of subjects is 20 grade 1 students of PPWNI Klang divided into two experimental groups of 10 and a control group of 10. This study's results indicate that the experimental group's posttest average value is 90.70 higher than the value of the control group, which is 81.50. Based on the t-test, a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates a significant effect on applying the Jarimatics Method to the numeracy skills of grade 1 students. PPWNI Klang, Selangor Malaysia. The jarimatics method provides an approach that is easy to understand, does not burden students' thinking power, and provides certainty in mathematical calculations. The results of this study also support the opinions of experts and previous data modelling, which show the benefits of the jarimatics method in the context of learning mathematics. By paying attention to aspects of Islamic education in the Jarimatics method, this approach becomes relevant and valuable to develop quality students' understanding of mathematics by paying attention to spiritual and moral aspects of the learning process.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the development of learning kalam science, which has become one of the mandatory subjects for all study programs at State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN). To understand the new direction of kalam science learning, this research focuses on several formulations, such as the trajectory of kalam science learning, the orientation, and the inclusiveness of kalam science learning at PTKIN. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data sources consist of lecturers and students involved in learning natural sciences. Observation, interviews and documentation were carried out for data collection. Data analysis with stages of categorization, interpretation and presentation. The findings of this research explain that the learning trajectory of natural sciences at PTKIN has shifted from the IAIN era, which was ideological-subjective, to the UIN period, which was more ideological-objective. Meanwhile, the orientation of learning kalam sciences has also changed from being focused on preaching to scientific development. The new direction of learning natural sciences at PTKIN has demonstrated inclusive learning, characterized by accepting differences and finding common ground and reason among students. This research confirms that the inclusive attitude of learning kalam science has positively impacted creating a harmonious society amidst disagreements.
