Abstract

This research explores the application of Al-Islam and Kemuhamadiyahan learning based on religious moderation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection by observing, interviewing and documenting. Data analysis using the interactive model popularized by Miles and Huberman includes data condensation, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques: time triangulation, source triangulation, method triangulation, and investigator triangulation. So, this research found that implementing Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah learning was based on religious moderation. The results of this research are that implementing AI-Islam and Kemuhamadiyahan learning based on religious moderation is generally carried out with two types of knowledge, namely learning in and outside the classroom. Classroom learning by implementing AIK education guidelines at PTMA and AIK Multicultural. Meanwhile, activities outside the school are integrated with campus activities, namely Matras, Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM), Tapak Suci (TS), Christian Student Association (PMK), seminars, field studies, mabit activities and seminars. The AI-Islam and Kemuhamadiyahan learning model based on religious moderation is one form of operationalization of the ultimate goal of Islamic education, namely empowering humans.

Abstract

This research aims to discover how student organizations contribute to the growth of emotional intelligence. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Using three data collection techniques: documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis includes domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, and componential analysis. The results of the data analysis found that organizations have a role in the emotional development of organizational administrators, including cultivating the corporate spirit, consultation spirit, awareness of other people's points of view, and awareness of controlling anger. As well as lack of self-confidence and poor communication between administrators are the two main obstacles to developing emotional intelligence. Based on data analysis findings, companies can help organizational administrators grow emotionally by cultivating the corporate spirit, consultative spirit, awareness of others' points of view, and awareness of behavioural control.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the meaning of Kaili ethnic cultural symbols to strengthen the values of Islamic education among the Kaili ethnic community. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this research uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis in this research uses single data analysis (individual case analysis), with the data analysis model from Miles and Huberman, through three paths of activities that occur simultaneously. This research found that there are sambulugana symbols and sintuvu symbols in organizing their daily life systems. These symbols are interpreted deeply because they have fundamental values. The sambulugana symbol teaches the concept of gratitude and resignation to God Almighty. Meanwhile, the sintuvu concept teaches the values of ukhuwah or cooperation between people. The sintuvu symbol reminds the Kaili ethnic community of how they live in interdependence with one another. The sintuvu symbol also teaches us not to create distance between relatives. So, as much as possible, maintain kinship relations even in buying and selling (exchanging goods).

Abstract

This research aims to see and provide the results of an analysis of the development of Islamic education from the perspective of KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari. Using post positivism rationalism, data was obtained through documentation, observation and interview techniques. The data analysis uses deductive inductive analysis, reflective analysis, constant comparative analysis and typological analysis. The research results show that KH. M Hasyim Asy'ari as a great scholar has studied several fields of study, ranging from religious, educational, social, cultural to political issues. In contrast to the religious views of some kiai which are sometimes syncretic, Kiai Hasyim Asy'ari's thoughts on religion tend to be puritanical. Likewise, in his views on education, his perspective can be categorized as progressive and is in line with figures, especially the modernization of Islamic education in Indonesia, namely Islamic boarding school education. View of KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari regarding learning means learning not only ta'lim al-nafs, but also ta'lim rabbani, and his views on knowledge can be divided into two types of knowledge, hudhuri (ladunni), and husuli (kasbi). Meanwhile, his view of the interaction between teachers and students is religious ethics which is ideological, theological and transcendent.

The study involved 135 participants who understood the research objectives and were willing to participate. Data was collected through interviews and focused group discussions. Data analysis was conducted using nVivo Basic 12.00 x32 for Windows. The Village Regulations 2009 is the foundation for the community's legal education process. The community's acceptance of the tobacco-free area rules through legal education is very good. Supporting factors include: 1) Actors, such as the village head (34.78%), traditional leaders (26.09%), religious leaders (21.74%), and educators (13.04%); 2) Culture, mutual respect being a legal education value derived from local community wisdom (42.86%), and village residents complying with the rules; 3) Tobacco-free lifestyle is supported by awareness of maintaining a healthy environment (24.71%) and considering the continuation of education for children in the village. Abstract

Islamic boarding school as a local genius has a long history before it was finally integrated into the Indonesian national education system. This paper examines the existence, characteristics, and dynamics of government policies towards Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a historical qualitative approach by relying on a literature review for data sources (library research) and analyzed by the content analysis method. The results show that the existence of boarding schools is influenced by several factors, including adaptive, integrative, management, role, and function. The characteristics of an Islamic boarding school are reflected through its forming elements consisting of kiai, santri, mosque, dormitory, and the study of kitab kuning. Regarding policy dynamics, the harmonization of the relationship between education and politics can be seen through the need for education for state recognition and government policies in managing education according to its objectives. This research emphasizes that education is interested in and depends on state recognition, and conversely, the state has an interest in education to develop the potential of its citizens.

Abstract

This study aims to answer and analyze the reform of Said Nursi's Islamic educational thought. Curriculum reform, methods and ideal educational goals shape morals and increase spirituality and knowledge. This research was conducted using an educational philosophy approach with the library method. As for the analysis, the researcher used the content analysis method. The data consists of primary and secondary data. Primary sources provide data directly from the first sources in Nursi's works. Secondary sources use the Al-Qur'an, hadith, books, journals, and articles. Data analysis identifies similarities, differences, or patterns from the data obtained. The findings of this study are that Nursi's educational reform model regarding curriculum is an integrated curriculum, namely the madrasah curriculum, mekteb, and tekke curriculum. By practising Faith-Science, debriefing, and comparison, a person will obtain quality knowledge and be pious morally and spiritually. Education aims to produce intellectual intellectuals. Based on the three findings above, it can be concluded that Said Nursi has brought renewal, as in Risale-l-Nur, from the conservative typology of Islamic educational thought that was developing at that time to the rational-religious typology of spiritual education oriented towards spiritual, moral and intellectual development of students, in an integrated manner.
