Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school community harmony on the quality of students’ learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Lohbener. A quantitative descriptive method was used, involving students and teachers as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using statistical techniques to determine the correlation between the variables. The results indicate that a harmonious school environment—characterized by positive relationships among teachers, students, and staff—significantly contributes to improving students’ learning outcomes. The findings highlight that mutual respect, effective communication, and supportive interactions within the school community create a conducive atmosphere for learning. Therefore, maintaining harmony among all school members is crucial for enhancing academic achievement and overall student

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low learning outcomes of class II students of SDI Maumere who have difficulty in understanding the concept of addition and subtraction. Most students have not been able to understand the concept of addition and subtraction. The purpose of this study is to determine the learning outcomes of class II students of SDI Maumere, addition and subtraction material using the cliff board media. This research method uses classroom action research based on lesson study with plan-do-see stages. The subjects of this study were class II students of SDI Maumere, totaling 27 people with 15 boys and 12 girls. Data collection techniques used observation and tests with instruments in the form of learning observation sheets in lesson study activities, student activity observation sheets, and lesson study stage assessment sheets. The results of the study showed that in cycle 1 the assessment results at the lesson study stage were 89.47; The results of student activity observations were 65.7% and the test scores of 27 students were known to have 12 (47%) students who completed and 5 (53%) students who did not complete. In cycle 2, the results of the lesson study stage were 92%, the results of student activity observations were 93% and the test scores of 27 students were 22 (79%) students who completed and 5 (21%) students who did not. This indicates an increase in student learning outcomes. So it is concluded that using the ravine board media can improve student learning outcomes in addition and subtraction material for class II SDI Maumere.

Abstract

This study examines the role of basic education as a social pillar in Indonesia and Cuba, two countries that differ significantly in political structures, economic capacity, and public policy orientation. The study aims to describe the efforts of both countries to achieve equitable access to education, improve literacy skills, and fulfill the state’s responsibility in providing quality basic education. In addition, this research identifies strategic lessons that Indonesia can learn from Cuba’s success in strengthening foundational learning. The main argument emphasizes that differences in educational outcomes, particularly in literacy and completion rates, reflect fundamental differences in governance structures, levels of educational investment, and the philosophical foundations of each country’s education system.This study employs a qualitative comparative analysis approach using recent secondary data, including policy documents, scholarly publications, national assessment results, international education indicators from the World Bank for the period 2020–2022, OECD PISA 2022 data, and case studies related to curriculum and literacy programs. The analysis focuses on education governance structures, directions of curriculum reform, literacy improvement strategies, and the distribution and utilization of educational resources. The findings indicate that Cuba has achieved near-universal literacy through centralized governance and sustained national literacy programs, while Indonesia has made progress but continues to face quality disparities due to decentralization challenges and unequal resource distribution.

Abstract

Contemporary education requires the integration of academic abilities and spiritual guidance so that students are not only intellectually superior, but also have mature religious character. Madrasahs, as Islamic educational institutions, play a strategic role in this process, but spiritual guidance in many madrasahs is still not designed and implemented systematically. This condition is also evident at MAN 3 Agam, where there is a gap in student participation in religious activities and a lack of structured planning, implementation, and evaluation related to the muhasabah program. In fact, various studies show that muhasabah, as a practice of self-introspection, is effective in increasing students' moral awareness and social behavior. This study aims to describe in depth the implementation of the muhasabah program at MAN 3 Agam through a descriptive qualitative approach, covering the process of implementation, the experiences of students and teachers, as well as supporting factors and obstacles in the field. The research results are expected to provide a contextual understanding of the dynamics of spiritual guidance in madrasahs and the contribution of muhasabah in strengthening the religious character of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the impact of Village Fund utilization in the development of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) on the local economy in Marindal II Village, Patumbak District. The Village Fund policy is expected to encourage village independence by strengthening local economic institutions such as BUMDes. However, the effectiveness of its utilization in creating a tangible economic impact for the community still requires further research. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research subjects were determined by purposive sampling, consisting of village government officials, BUMDes administrators, as well as community leaders and residents. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The collected data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are expected to provide a clear picture of the contribution of BUMDes supported by Village Funds to the local economy and identify challenges faced in its management, so that it can serve as evaluation material for the village government and related stakeholders. Limited human resources and business management are the main obstacles so that the economic impact has not been felt optimally. The role of BUMDes is more dominant in service than in increasing community income.

Abstract

This evaluation aims to measure the effectiveness of the program GAPURA (Anti-Bullying and Child-Friendly Movement) at SD Negeri 24 Pangkalpinang is willing to implement the model Bet evaluation. This program was initiated as a response against high and decreasing cases of bullying school safety climate. Approach used is study descriptive with qualitative paradigm, analyzing data through three Stake components: Antecedents (initial and improving conditions sarpra), Transaction (anti-bullying education process, implementation of inclusive learning, and development extracurricular), and Results (final results). Evaluation results shows a positive impact in the form of decreasing numbers bullying (to 4.17%) and violations of discipline (to 7.019%), increased school safety climate of 0.46 as well as an increase in academic achievement in the field numeracy is 30%. The best achievements are seen in components of student character. Overall, Program GAPURA is proven to make a positive contribution significant in creating a good school environment safe, conducive and supports the growth and development of children's rights optimally, although it still requires improvement sustainable.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil penanaman nilai cinta tanah air melalui projek pembiasaan menyanyikan lagu nasional dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari projek pengabdian kepada masyarakat di SDN 2 Tambun dengan melibatkan 26 siswa kelas III. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melalui tahapan pengenalan lagu, pelatihan vokal sederhana, pembiasaan menyanyi, serta evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan menyanyikan lagu nasional mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar, rasa bangga terhadap bangsa, kedisiplinan, Serta penghargaan siswa terhadap simbol-simbol negara. Siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri, aktif, dan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama pembelajaran. Guru juga menilai kegiatan ini efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila, khususnya sila ketiga tentang Persatuan Indonesia. Selain itu, suasana pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan, bermakna, dan kontekstual melalui penghayatan makna lagu yang dinyanyikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the habitual singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, as a medium for integrating Islamic values and nationalism at MAN 1 Kota Probolinggo. This research is motivated by the declining sense of nationalism among students, influenced by the pressures of globalization and modernity. Using a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, data were collected from the school principal, Islamic Education (PAI) teacher, Civics (PPKn) teacher, OSIS advisor, and students directly involved in the activity. The findings show that the consistent practice of singing Indonesia Raya effectively strengthens students’ national awareness, discipline, and respect for national symbols. Although some students initially appeared reluctant or less enthusiastic, continuous habituation supported by teacher role models and school policies gradually shaped positive behavioral changes. Informants emphasized that students require strong figures and a supportive environment to internalize both national and religious values. These results align with habit formation theory, Bandura’s social-cognitive theory on modeling, and Lickona’s character education framework. The study concludes that the habituation of singing Indonesia Raya is effective in reinforcing nationalism and integrating Islamic values within the school environment. The research is limited in scope, indicating the need for broader future studies and potential incorporation of quantitative methods for deeper analysis.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Peer Teaching model on the development of the underhand pass technique in volleyball for students at SMAN 1 Bungursari. Employing a quantitative approach with an experimental design utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest model, the research involved the X-2 class, consisting of 45 respondents, who were selected using the Total Sampling technique. Descriptive results indicated a significant increase in the volleyball underhand passing ability, evidenced by the mean score rising from 59 in the pretest to 76 in the posttest. Hypothesis testing, performed using the Paired Samples T Test, yielded a significance level of 0.000, which is less than the standard threshold of 0.05. This result confirms a statistically significant influence between the administered treatment and the learning outcomes. Therefore, it is concluded that the Peer Teaching learning method is proven effective in enhancing the underhand passing ability in volleyball among tenth grade students at SMAN 1 Bungursari.

Abstract

This study examined whether the singing method could improve language development through letter recognition activities for children aged 5-6 years at Nurul Iman Kindergarten, Tonu Jaya Village, Huamual Belakang District, West Seram Regency. The research employed classroom action research methodology conducted over two cycles, with each cycle comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The study involved 31 children (20 boys and 11 girls) from Nurul Iman Kindergarten. Results indicated significant improvement in language development through letter recognition activities using the singing method. In the first cycle, children's language abilities were categorized as follows: 10 children (32.2%) not yet developed (BB), 5 children (16.1%) beginning to develop (MB), 7 children (22.5%) developing as expected (BSH), and 9 children (29.03%) very well developed (BSB). By the second cycle, improvement was evident with 7 children (22.5%) beginning to develop (MB), 9 children (29.03%) developing as expected (BSH), and 15 children (48.38%) very well developed (BSB). The findings demonstrate that the singing method effectively enhanced language development in letter recognition activities, with a notable increase in children achieving very good development from 29.03% to 48.38%. This research concluded that the singing method is an effective approach for improving language development through letter recognition activities for children aged 5-6 years.
