Fine motor skills play an important role in early childhood learning readiness. This study aimed to optimize children’s fine motor skills through a learning strategy based on Paper Craft 3M activities (folding, cutting, and pasting). The research employed two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, involving 20 children aged 4–5 years at Kartini Wangkal Kindergarten, Probolinggo Regency. Data were collected through structured observation using a fine motor development assessment sheet. The results showed an improvement in fine motor skills, from the pre-cycle stage with no children achieving the Developing as Expected (DE) and Very Well Developed (VWD) categories, to 20% of children reaching DE in Cycle I, and a significant increase in Cycle II with 75% achieving DE and 25% achieving VWD. These findings indicate that Paper Craft 3M activities are effective in optimizing fine motor skills in early childhood.

This study aims to describe the collaborative and independent character of elementary school students in the learning process at SDN 112/I Perumnas. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design to obtain an in-depth understanding of character development within an authentic learning context. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with classroom teachers, and documentation analysis. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that students’ collaborative character developed through learning activities involving group discussions, cooperation in completing tasks, communication among students, and mutual respect for differing opinions. Meanwhile, students’ independent character was reflected in their ability to complete tasks responsibly, demonstrate learning initiative, and manage their own learning processes without excessive dependence on the teacher. These findings show that the learning process provides meaningful opportunities for the development of collaborative and independent character among students. Therefore, integrating character development into learning activities plays an important role in strengthening character education in elementary schools in accordance with the direction of the Merdeka Curriculum.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using 3D interactive Student Worksheets (LKPD) with the theme of Indonesian culinary in strengthening the elements of recognizing and appreciating culture in students at SB At-Tanzil Malaysia. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 10 elementary school students. Data were collected using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire and covered three main aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results showed an increase in the average score from 4.17 in the pretest to 4.55 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 0.50 which is included in the moderate category. The normality test using Shapiro–Wilk showed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05), while the paired t-test showed a significant difference between before and after treatment (sig < 0.05). These results indicate that the use of 3D interactive LKPD is effective in improving students' understanding and appreciation of culture through physical activities such as cutting, folding, and sticking traditional culinary models. Theoretically, this research strengthens the concept of Ethnodigital Pedagogy in the form of non-digital manual media that can simultaneously integrate the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Practically, the results of this study can serve as an alternative contextual learning medium to foster Indonesian identity and cultural pride in foreign schools

Putri Yasmin Mumtaz, 21144500034. An Analysis of the Parallel Talk Method's Effect on Receptive Language Understanding in Speech-Delayed Students at TK ABA Among Putro II. Students with speech delay at TK ABA Among Putro II Kasihan experience difficulties in their receptive language abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the parallel talk method on the receptive language skills of a child with speech delay at TK ABA Among Putro II. The research was conducted in November 2025. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using the Single Subject Research (SSR) design. The subject of this study was one student with speech delay impairment. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation and frequency measurement of correct responses. The research design used was A-B-A, which includes the baseline phase (A1), intervention phase (B), and baseline phase (A2). Data analysis was performed using visual analysis within conditions and between-conditions analysis based on frequency changes. The results showed that in the baseline phase (A1), the subject obtained scores of 4, 5, and 3 across three sessions. In the intervention phase (B), the subject's scores increased to 7, 9, 8, 11, and 13. In the final baseline phase (A2), the subject maintained scores of 11, 12, and 12. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the parallel talk method has a positive effect on improving the receptive language skills of children with speech delay. Keywords: Parallel Talk Method, Speech Delay, Receptive Language.

This study investigates the effect of the reciprocal teaching style on students’ learning outcomes in freestyle swimming at SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Pakam. The problem underlying this research is the low mastery of freestyle swimming techniques among students, which is partly caused by the use of teacher-centered instructional methods that limit student participation and interaction. The purpose of this study was to examine whether the implementation of the reciprocal teaching style could significantly improve students’ freestyle swimming learning outcomes. This research employed an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Lubuk Pakam, with a sample of 32 students selected using probability sampling techniques. Data were collected through freestyle swimming skill tests administered before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the reciprocal teaching style. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis through a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ freestyle swimming learning outcomes after the application of the reciprocal teaching style. The findings indicate that the reciprocal teaching style effectively enhances students’ technical mastery, learning engagement, and overall performance in freestyle swimming. Therefore, this teaching style is recommended as an alternative instructional strategy in physical education, particularly in swimming lessons.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the clapping beat game and the ability of 5–6 year old children to recognize patterns and rhythms. The clapping beat game is an activity that involves children's movement, hearing, and focus, so it can help the development of their musical abilities. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research subjects consisted of 18 children aged 5–6 years at Robbani Indralaya Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. Data collection was carried out through observations using an assessment sheet to evaluate the clapping beat game and the children's ability to recognize patterns and rhythms. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between the clapping beat game and children's ability to understand and follow patterns and rhythms. This finding indicates that children's ability to follow the clapping beat game is related to their ability to recognize and follow patterns and rhythms. This research is expected to provide benefits in enriching music and movement-based learning activities in early childhood education.
