Abstract

The implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in the IPAS subject for Grade V students at SD Negeri 020 Tanah Grogot still faces several challenges. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the cognitive learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for Grade V students at SD Negeri 020 Muara Koman. This study employs a qualitative research method with respondents consisting of teachers, students, and the school principal. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on the objectives of the research. Snowball sampling was also used through the involvement of participants recommended by initial respondents. The research procedure began with the researcher preparing instruments and instructional tools based on the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. The study was conducted using interview and observation techniques. Data analysis was carried out through both interim and final conclusions formed during the interview process. The results of the study indicate that the teacher respondent had prepared, implemented, and evaluated the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model in Grade V at SDN 020 Tanah Grogot. The student respondents had engaged in preparation, participated in the learning process, and demonstrated improved cognitive learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the school principal respondent had facilitated the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the STAD learning model, resulting in enhanced cognitive learning outcomes among the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the cognitive learning outcomes in the teaching of metamorphosis in Grade III at SDN 018 Long Kali. The research method used is qualitative research, with respondents including teachers, students, and the school principal. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling based on the research objectives. Snowball sampling was applied through the involvement of participants as aligned with the respondents.The research procedure began with the researcher developing instruments and learning tools based on cognitive learning theory to improve student learning outcomes. The research was carried out through interview and observation techniques. Data analysis involved preliminary and final conclusions derived throughout the interview process.The research results showed that the teacher respondent had prepared, implemented, and evaluated the application of cognitive learning theory-based teaching to improve student learning outcomes on the metamorphosis topic in Grade III at SDN 018 Long Kali. The student respondents had also prepared, participated in the learning activities, and achieved cognitive learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the principal respondent had facilitated the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the cognitive theory-based learning, resulting in improved student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and perceptions of educators regarding gender equality in the learning process at Al-Azzam Islamic Early Childhood Education Center, Babat Supat Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers and 4-year-old students. The results of the study indicate that educators have applied the principle of gender equality in learning, such as providing equal opportunities for boys and girls to participate in various activities and class roles. However, it was found that children's preferences in play are still influenced by gender stereotypes originating from the social environment. In addition, learning media show progress in gender role representation, although it is not yet fully consistent. Teachers' perceptions of gender equality are generally positive, but they still face cultural challenges and limitations in parental participation. This study concludes that Al-Azzam Islamic PAUD is in a transitional stage toward becoming a gender-responsive educational institution. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of teacher training, the development of inclusive learning media, and collaboration with parents and the community in shaping awareness of gender equality from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental guidance and the beginning reading skills of grade II students of SD Negeri Rawamangun 01 Pagi East Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data collection techniques were conducted through questionnaires and reading tests. The sample in this study amounted to 55 students selected by simple random sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test and t-test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the parents' guidance and early reading skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.668 and tcount of 6.268 > ttable 2.006. The relationship is classified in the strong category.

Abstract

Environmental issues, particularly in waste management, remain a significant challenge in elementary schools. The lack of student awareness and low levels of creativity in managing waste call for innovative learning approaches. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of the 3R method as an effort to enhance creativity and environmental awareness among third-grade students at SD Inpres Pare'-pare', Gowa Regency. The research adopted a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model with qualitative approach. Data acquisition was carried out through various methods, including observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted in two learning cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results indicate that applying the 3R method has a positive impact on improving students' creativity and fostering their environmental awareness. Students showed greater ability to generate creative ideas using recycled materials and became more engaged in maintaining cleanliness and managing waste responsibly. The learning process became more interactive, with students showing greater enthusiasm in participating in activities to waste management. This improvement was also reflected in the observations where both teachers and students demonstrated active involvement in each stage of the learning process. Therefore, the 3R method can serve as an effective educational strategy to foster environmental values and enhance student creativity from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between peer conformity and bullying behavior among Grade XI students at SMK Semen Padang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research used a quantitative correlational method. The population consisted of 93 Grade XI students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year, with the entire population taken as the sample using a total sampling technique. The study investigated the correlation between peer conformity and bullying behavior. The instrument used to collect data was a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS 21 statistical software and Microsoft Excel. Based on the data analysis, the hypothesis test results showed that the calculated r value was 0.401, while the r table value was 0,204. Since the calculated r is greater than the table value (0.401 >0,204), the hypothesis is accepted, indicating a positive relationship between peer conformity and bullying behavior among Grade XI students at SMK Semen Padang. Therefore, bullying behavior can be reduced if students experience healthy peer conformity and are in a supportive environment.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN Tlogosari Kulon 06 Semarang regarding the science subject (IPAS), particularly electrical circuits, which results in poor learning outcomes and difficulties in applying scientific concepts. The literature review references learning difficulty theories covering aspects of perception, concentration, motivation, and the influence of the learning environment on student achievement. This qualitative study employs observation, interviews, and questionnaires as data collection methods, involving teachers, students, and parents as research subjects. The results indicate the primary learning difficulties arise from both internal and external factors. Internal factors include low motivation, lack of interest in IPAS material, varied cognitive abilities among students, and unstructured learning patterns. External factors include the use of conventional teaching methods without interactive approaches, limited supporting facilities at school and home, and weak parental support and supervision, which contribute to students' learning challenges. Based on these findings, it is recommended to provide adequate facilities and implement personalized learning approaches to enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes. Furthermore, continuous guidance from teachers and parents is essential to effectively address students' learning difficulties.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who can be influenced by their peers to follow trends or follow modern developments such as truancy while in the school environment, whether or not they are influenced by their peers depends on the individual's perception of their group environment. Because the individual's perception of their peers will determine the decisions they will take later. Based on the problems above, your research aims to describe 1) Peer interaction. 2). Student truancy behavior.3) The influence of peer interaction on truancy. This research uses a quantitative research method of simple linear regression analysis with a population of 179, random sampling technique with a sample size of 124. The instrument used in this research is a statute. Data analysis in this research is percentage and simple linear regression.  The results of this study reveal that 1) Peer interaction on truancy behavior in other words the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of peer interaction on truancy behavior. 2). Peer interaction on truancy behavior in other words the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of peer interaction on truancy behavior in the sufficient category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the role of multimedia integration in improving the sociolinguistic abilities of elementary school students in Indonesian language learning, adopting a mixed-method approach. This study integrates a systematic literature review with primary data collection through classroom observation and interviews. A systematic literature search was conducted on the Scopus database, covering publications up to July 31, 2025, using keywords related to multimedia, sociolinguistics, Indonesian language learning, and elementary schools. Of the 2,666 studies identified, 32 studies met the inclusion criteria after undergoing a rigorous selection process, including a review of the full text. The literature findings show that educational videos and educational games significantly improve students' understanding of formal/informal language use and the social context of language. To enrich the literature findings, this study was followed up with primary data collection through case studies in several elementary schools. Classroom observations were conducted to directly observe the use of multimedia in Indonesian language learning and student interactions related to sociolinguistic aspects. Semi-structured interviews with teachers were also conducted to explore their understanding of the effectiveness of multimedia, implementation challenges, and its impact on sociolinguistic abilities. Primary data will be analyzed using thematic analysis and integrated with literature findings. The combined results show that multimedia, particularly educational videos and games, are effective tools for fostering the sociolinguistic abilities of elementary school students. These findings underscore the importance of planned and relevant integration of multimedia into the Indonesian socio-cultural context. This study identifies challenges in implementing technology in elementary schools, but also highlights significant opportunities to improve the quality of language learning. The implications of this study provide input for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers to optimize the use of multimedia for the development of students' sociolinguistic competencies.

Abstract

Advances in internet technology pose major challenges in maintaining website security against various cyber threats. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) aims to identify and analyze the methods and tools used in website security testing with a focus on penetration testing. This study was conducted by screening 1,911,363 initial articles obtained from various academic repositories, such as IEEE Xplore, Springer Link, Crossref, Semantic, and Google Scholar, resulting in 32 articles that met the inclusion criteria based on their relevance and quality. The results of the study show that the penetration testing approach is dominated by various security frameworks, including OWASP, ISSAF, OSSTMM, and PTES, which are used to evaluate and strengthen web system security. In addition, this study reveals that tools such as Acunetix, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and SQLmap are often used to detect and exploit security vulnerabilities. Several studies also highlight the integration of machine learning technology in detecting attacks such as SQL Injection and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), which indicates a new trend in website security testing. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for a more adaptive approach to penetration testing, combining automation techniques and manual analysis to improve the effectiveness of threat detection and mitigation. The results of this study can serve as a reference for academics and cybersecurity practitioners in choosing the optimal strategy to secure website systems from evolving threats.
