Abstract

Interest in learning is a crucial element that influences students' success in the learning process at the elementary school level. However, initial research at Gedanganak 03 Public Elementary School indicates that the learning interest of second-grade students is still relatively low. The causes include the application of more conventional teaching methods, a lack of variety in learning models and media, as well as insufficient active student participation in the learning process. Therefore, innovative learning approaches are needed to create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model of Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) supported by Spin Neptune media on students' learning interest, as well as to identify the differences and improvements in students' learning interest before and after the implementation of this model. The study applies a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research includes all students of Gedanganak 03 Public Elementary School, while the sample consists of second-grade students from classes II A and II B. Data collection is conducted using a learning interest questionnaire, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data processing involves validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya minat belajar siswa SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam bentuk data kuesioner minat belajar siswa yang menunjukkan siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi sebanyak 13%, siswa dengan minat belajar sedang 52%, dan siswa dengan minat belajar rendah 35%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimental dan desain perbandingan kelompok utuh. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Meurandeh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa kelas VA dan 23 siswa kelas VB. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dan minat belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri memiliki nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi yaitu 64,04 dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional yang memiliki nilai rata-rata 42,00. Berdasarkan uji t independen, nilai t-hitung sebesar 18,814 lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,684 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan putusan uji statistik, hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Hi) diterima.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the strong popular narrative that positions Middle Eastern clerics as the dominant actors in the Islamization of Aceh without critical verification of contemporary historical evidence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the symbolic authority of Middle Eastern clerics and the historical reality of the Islamization of Aceh, as well as its implications for history education. The method used is qualitative research with a critical history approach and intellectual historiography combined with a history education perspective, through analysis of primary sources in the form of classical Acehnese manuscripts, foreign traveler's notes, archaeological and epigraphic evidence, and secondary sources from contemporary academic studies. The results of this study indicate that the claim of dominance of Middle Eastern ulama in the early phase of the Islamization of Aceh in the 12th–14th centuries CE is not supported by contemporary historical evidence, but rather is a retrospective symbolic construction in the historiography of the sultanate. The role of Middle Eastern ulama only became significant in the 16th–17th centuries in the context of the consolidation of the Aceh Darussalam Sultanate, especially as agents of legitimacy of state orthodoxy and ideology. The research findings also emphasize the centrality of local ulama and Nusantara networks in the production, transmission, and adaptation of contextual Islamic knowledge. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a critical and multi-perspective approach in history education so that the Islamization of Aceh is understood as a complex, networked, and local agency-based historical process, rather than a linear, top-down narrative.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gamification strategies with an immersive learning approach on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in Waru District. The background of this study is the low critical thinking skills of students caused by teacher-centered learning, the lack of innovative strategies, and the suboptimal use of immersive learning approaches. The gamification strategy was chosen because it can increase motivation and learning engagement through game elements, while the immersive learning approach encourages conceptual understanding, reflection, and higher-order reasoning. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest design in several elementary schools in Waru District. The research sample was fifth-grade students determined through relevant sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through critical thinking ability tests, observation, and documentation. The test instruments were designed based on critical thinking indicators including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. Validity and reliability tests of the instruments were conducted before use. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical tests, including difference tests and repeated measures ANOVA to examine the effect of treatment and differences between schools. The expected results of this study are an increase in critical thinking skills in students who are taught using immersive learning-based gamification strategies compared to conventional learning, as well as differences in the level of improvement between schools. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to the development of innovative learning strategies in elementary schools to strengthen students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Emotional regulation is a crucial component of adolescent development. High emotional regulation will be related to psychological well-being. This research was conducted to determine the extent to which group guidance services and problem-solving techniques can improve students' emotional regulation abilities. A pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design were used in this study. Ten students were selected using a non-random selective sampling method. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. Data analysis using a two-tailed Wilcoxon test resulted in an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.005, which is less than 0.05. The findings indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Given the striking difference between the pretest and posttest results, it can be concluded that students of SMPN 2 Buduran can improve their emotional regulation by using group counseling and problem-solving strategies.This study only tested one group. Further research should be developed with more subjects.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the deep learning approach within the Merdeka Curriculum to enhance pedagogical competence among early childhood education (PAUD) teachers. The background of this research is the limited application of meaningful and contextual learning practices in PAUD, where learning activities are often still teacher-centered and focused on memorization. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of deep learning strategies in improving teachers’ pedagogical skills, particularly in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving PAUD teachers. The results indicate that the application of deep learning encourages teachers to design learning activities that are more student-centered, contextual, and reflective of children’s developmental characteristics. Furthermore, teachers demonstrated improved abilities in facilitating active learning, fostering social-emotional development, and integrating real-life experiences into classroom activities. The study concludes that deep learning is a relevant and effective approach for strengthening pedagogical competence in PAUD when implemented consistently and supported by adequate professional development.

Abstract

Kejahatan lingkungan hidup transnasional yang melibatkan korporasi telah menjadi ancaman serius bagi kelestarian ekosistem global. Penelitian ini menganalisis teori pertanggungjawaban pidana korporasi dalam konteks kejahatan lingkungan hidup transnasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dan komparatif. data sekunder dikumpulkan dari peraturan perundang-undangan, putusan pengadilan, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen internasional, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga teori utama pertanggungjawaban pidana korporasi: tanggung jawab pengganti (vicarious liability), tanggung jawab mutlak (strict liability), dan model budaya korporasi (corporate culture model). Implementasi teori-teori ini menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam yurisdiksi transnasional, termasuk kesulitan pembuktian, perbedaan sistem hukum, dan keterbatasan mekanisme penegakan hukum internasional. Studi komparatif terhadap sistem hukum berbagai negara mengungkapkan bahwa pendekatan hybrid yang menggabungkan elemen tanggung jawab pengganti (vicarious liability) dengan model budaya korporasi (corporate culture model) menunjukkan efektivitas lebih tinggi dalam menjerat korporasi pelaku kejahatan lingkungan transnasional. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan harmonisasi hukum internasional melalui konvensi khusus, penguatan mekanisme bantuan hukum timbal balik (mutual legal assistance), pengembangan standar pembuktian yang adaptif, dan pembentukan tribunal internasional khusus kejahatan lingkungan korporasi sebagai langkah strategis mengatasi impunitas korporasi dalam kejahatan lingkungan hidup transnasional.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing prevalence of cybercrime in the form of hate speech in cyberspace that generates social, psychological, legal, and religious moral problems, aims to analyze Qur’anic verses related to hateful expressions, to reveal their impacts according to Qur’anic exegetes, and to formulate prevention strategies grounded in Qur’anic values by employing a qualitative library based thematic exegesis method examining verses prohibiting insult, slander, backbiting, provocation, and degradation of human dignity together with classical and contemporary interpretations, with findings indicating that hate speech is strictly forbidden because it undermines human honor and triggers social fragmentation and is conceptualized in the Qur’an through terms such as sukhriyah, istihza’, namimah, ghibah, tanabuz bi al-alqab, and lamz, while ethical principles of guarding speech, avoiding suspicion, upholding justice, and cultivating piety remain highly relevant as normative foundations for digital communication, leading to the conclusion that Qur’anic interpretation offers a comprehensive and applicable moral spiritual framework for countering hate speech in the Indonesian digital sphere.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to the limited application of learning activities aimed at developing logical thinking skills in early childhood at TK Pertiwi II Telanaipura. Observations indicated that the logical thinking abilities of children aged 5–6 years had not developed optimally, as shown by difficulties in recognizing patterns, sequencing, classifying objects, distinguishing sizes, and demonstrating constructive thinking. This study aimed to examine the effect of unplugged coding games on the logical thinking abilities of children aged 5–6 years.The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 12 children. Data were collected through observation using a validated instrument and analyzed using hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant improvement in logical thinking abilities, with a t-value of 24.163 exceeding the t-table value of 2.201 at α = 0.05. The mean score increased from 21.5 to 42.5, and the effect size analysis (Cohen’s d = 5.24) indicated a strong effect. These findings conclude that unplugged coding games significantly improve children’s logical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of animated video media on the learning outcomes grade IV on the material of Pancasila norms. The background the low learning outcomes of students due to uninteresting learning methods. This research applied quantitative methods with pre-experiment. The subjects of this study IV grade students. The study employed a pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test statistical test to compare intruments test scores. Finding indicated a notable rise in student’s learning achievements. The normality test results are normally distributed. The paired sample t-test showed an increase in the average score from 49.69 to 86.56 with a difference of 36.87. This finding shows animated video media usage positively and significanly impact studenst learning. Therefore, this study concludes that animated video media is effective improving learning outcomes on Pancasila norms material.
