Abstract

This study aims to analyze the percentage of basic shooting skills of the Indonesian Women's Futsal National Team players in the Group C preliminary round of the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup China. The approach used is descriptive quantitative with data sources in the form of video replays of three matches against Japan, Thailand, and Bahrain uploaded on the official AFC channel. The study population consists of all players on the Women's National Team (n = 15); data collection was conducted through video observation (counting and recording shot types) and then converted into percentages for each shooting aspect (e.g., on target, off target, player blocks, shooting area). The overall average shooting percentage for the Indonesian women's national team players was 5.64%, and the overall average match percentage was 5.45%. Against Japan, there was an improvement in performance; against Thailand, the dominant team took shots but was held to a draw (0–0); while against Bahrain, they showed high aggressiveness with a 5–1 victory. Overall, the technical shooting ability of the Women's National Team is highly proficient, but consistency in accuracy and decision-making still needs improvement to optimize the effectiveness of finishing opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Wordwall on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education subject. The main problem in this study is the low critical thinking ability of students caused by conventional learning that is still teacher-centered. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 37 students, comprising 19 students in the control class and 18 students in the experimental class, using saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, documentation, and tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis employed normality test, homogeneity test, N-gain test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Wordwall has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education subject, with an F-value of 14.063 and a significance level of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The R Square value of 0.293 indicates that the TPS model assisted by Wordwall contributes 29.3% to students' critical thinking skills. The highest improvement occurred in the Inference indicator, with an N-gain of the experimental class at 0.45, higher than the control class at 0.32.

Abstract

The availability and proper management of educational facilities and infrastructure play a crucial role in supporting students’ learning achievement, particularly at the primary education level. This study aims to examine the influence of educational facilities and infrastructure on students’ learning achievement at SD Negeri 1 Panembahan. The research employed a quantitative approach using a causal associative method. The sample consisted of 45 students from grades IV, V, and VI, selected through a combination of purposive sampling and simple random sampling. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results indicate that the condition of facilities and infrastructure at SD Negeri 1 Panembahan is generally categorized as adequate to good. The findings also reveal a positive and significant relationship between the quality of educational facilities and students’ learning achievement. However, the study identified a gap between the availability of facilities and their optimal utilization in the learning process. Therefore, effective management and innovative use of educational facilities are essential to maximize students’ academic potential and improve learning outcomes in primary schools.

Abstract

Samrah is a form of dance-based art that thrives in various Gorontalo communities, including at Al-Khairaat Buntulia Islamic Boarding School. Samrah is a type of religious performance art that combines elements of movement, music, lyrics, and costume to express Islamic values. This study employed a descritive qualitattive approach. Data collection techniques included direct observation at Al-Khairaat Buntulia Islamic Boarding in Pohuwato Regency, interviews with educators,, dancers, and members of the local Arab-descendant community, as well as documentation. The choreographic analysis focused on movement structure, floor petterns, number of dancers, musical accompaniment, costumes, and tthe meanings embedded in the performance. Tthe results showed tthat the Samrah choreography at Al-Khairaat Buntulia Islamic Boarding School is dominated by footwork movements, foot stomping, swinging arm movements, hand clapping, and turning movements. The floor patterns tend to be symmetrical and repetitive, reflecting  the values of ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) and equality among the dancers. Moreover, the interrelation between movement, music, and lyrics positions Samrah not only as a performing art from but also as an educational medium and a means of implementing Islamic values within the Islamic boarding school environment. This study is expected to contribute to the study of traditional performing arts, particularly in the context of Islamic boarding school education and the preservation of local culture grounded in raligious values.

Abstract

Teaching strategies implemented by educators in elementary schools have not yet fully addressed the diverse disciplinary characteristics of students. This study aims to describe educators’ understanding of variations in students’ disciplinary character, identify the teaching strategies employed, analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation, and explain the impact of these strategies on the development of student discipline. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, strengthened by source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that educators understand differences in students’ disciplinary character, as reflected in aspects such as attendance, compliance with rules, and responsibility in completing tasks, and respond to these differences by applying positive reinforcement, individual approaches, role modeling, habituation, and flexible learning methods. The effectiveness of these strategies is supported by parental cooperation and school policies, while the obstacles include differences in students’ backgrounds, uneven learning motivation, and limited time for classroom management. Overall, the implementation of adaptive and consistent teaching strategies has been shown to have a positive impact on improving student discipline, particularly in terms of rule compliance and task completion. Abstract

Student discipline is one of the crucial factors in the success of Islamic Religious Education (IRE). This study aims to integrate behavioristic theory with Imam Al-Ghazali's Islamic educational perspective in an effort to improve student discipline in IRE subjects. The method used is library research with a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach. Data were collected from primary literature in the form of Al-Ghazali's works, such as Ihya Ulumuddin and Ayyuhal Walad, as well as secondary literature, including books, journals, and scientific articles on behaviorist theory and Islamic education. The analysis was conducted through content analysis to find common ground between behaviorist concepts (stimulus-response, reinforcement, punishment) and Al-Ghazali's educational principles (mujahadah, riyadhah, habituation, and exemplary behavior). The results of the study show that there is a fundamental harmony between behaviorist theory and Al-Ghazali's educational concepts, particularly in the aspects of habituation, positive reinforcement, and logical consequences. The integration of these two approaches produces a comprehensive discipline development model, combining external dimensions (behavioral modification) with internal dimensions (spiritual motivation). The implementation of this integrated model shows significant potential in improving student discipline through a holistic approach, not only shaping outward behavior but also inner awareness. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the development of an Islamic values-based character education model that is compatible with modern psychological theory, as well as practical implications for PAI teachers in developing effective and meaningful discipline strategies.

Abstract

Learning natural and social sciences, specifically the ecosystem material in elementary schools, requires the direct involvement of students so that the concepts can be understood concretely and contextually. However, the use of the school environment as a source of real learning has not been fully optimized by teachers. This study aims to describe the utilization of the school environment by teachers as real learning in the ecosystem material of fifth-grade natural and social science subjects, as well as to identify the challenges faced in its implementation.Keywords: school environment utilization, real learning, ecosystem, Natural and Social Sciences elementary school. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study type conducted at SD Negeri 014/I Sungai Baung. The research subjects included the principal, fifth-grade teachers, and fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that teachers have utilized the school environment as real learning by making use of biotic and abiotic components such as plants, small animals, soil, water, and sunlight. This utilization helps students understand the concept of ecosystems more concretely and increases active involvement in learning. However, the use of the school environment has not been carried out optimally and systematically. The challenges faced include limited class time, a lack of structured planning for outdoor learning, limited supporting facilities, and teachers' experience in managing environment-based learning. Therefore, more thorough planning and school support are needed so that the utilization of the school environment as real learning can be implemented sustainably.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural country characterized by diverse cultural, ethnic, linguistic, and religious backgrounds, requiring an inclusive educational approach to promote tolerance and social harmony. This study aims to describe the implementation of multicultural education based on Acehnese local culture and to identify challenges in its application at SDQU Al-Muyassar. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving the school principal, teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using interactive qualitative data analysis, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that multicultural education has been implemented through daily school practices, teacher role modeling, and learning activities emphasizing values of tolerance, mutual respect, deliberation, and togetherness rooted in Acehnese local culture. However, the implementation remains largely implicit and has not been systematically integrated into formal lesson planning. Challenges include limited pedagogical strategies, the influence of globalization on students’ cultural orientation, and the underutilization of local cultural resources. This study concludes that Acehnese local culture–based multicultural education has strong potential to enhance students’ tolerance when supported by systematic planning and teacher competence.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to children’s learning patterns and social behavior, which have implications for the process of religious character formation in elementary schools. Islamic education at the elementary level plays a strategic role in instilling religious values; however, conventional approaches are increasingly considered less responsive to the challenges of the digital era. This study aims to (1) identify the challenges of religious character formation among children in the digital era, (2) analyze Islamic education concepts that are relevant to the internalization of religious values in elementary school students, and (3) formulate directions for reconstructing Islamic education that are adaptive and contextual. This research employs a qualitative approach using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data were obtained from scholarly journal articles, and the analysis was conducted through content analysis and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that the digital era influences children’s religious behavior, discipline, and moral sensitivity, while Islamic education in elementary schools remains largely dominated by cognitive and normative approaches. Therefore, a reconstruction of Islamic education is needed through the integration of religious values, digital literacy, and adaptive pedagogical strategies. This reconstruction emphasizes curriculum renewal, strengthening teachers’ competencies, and utilizing technology as a value-based learning medium to enhance the formation of children’s religious character in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada studi manajemen perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif yang dikombinasikan dengan metode kualitatif, menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen perpustakaan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi telah berjalan cukup efektif, dibuktikan dengan pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian. Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan manajemen perpustakaan meliputi dukungan kepala sekolah, kebijakan literasi sekolah, dan kerja sama seluruh anggota sekolah. Namun, ditemukan beberapa kendala, seperti jumlah pustakawan yang terbatas, koleksi buku yang tidak memadai, fasilitas dan infrastruktur perpustakaan yang kurang, dan pengaruh penggunaan telepon seluler terhadap minat baca siswa. Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut meliputi penguatan program literasi sekolah, peningkatan jumlah staf perpustakaan, dan pengadaan koleksi dan fasilitas perpustakaan secara bertahap .
