Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The fulfillment of children’s rights in primary schools is a crucial aspect of creating a safe, fair, and participatory learning environment. This study aims to explore teachers’ meaning-making of children’s rights fulfillment within the context of the implementation of Child-Friendly Schools (CFS). The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The research participants consisted of six teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations and analyzed using Miles, Huberman’s, and Saldaña interactive data analysis model. The findings indicate that teachers primarily interpret the fulfillment of children’s rights as efforts to create a sense of safety, ensure fair treatment, and provide opportunities for students’ participation in learning activities. These interpretations are reflected in classroom pedagogical practices, particularly in teacher–student relationships and the creation of a learning climate that supports student engagement. However, the fulfillment of children’s rights in classroom practice faces several challenges, including academic pressure, curriculum demands, and the diversity of students’ characteristics. In addition, although relevant training has been provided, such training is not yet sufficiently contextual and practice-oriented, leading teachers to rely heavily on personal teaching experience in implementing children’s rights principles.

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Student Worksheet (LKPD) in elementary school mathematics learning. The research employed a Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The LKPD was validated by subject matter experts, instructional design experts, and language experts by assessing the aspects of content feasibility, language, presentation, and alignment with the PBL syntax. The practicality of the LKPD was measured through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students after the implementation of the learning activities. The results showed that the PBL based LKPD achieved an average validity score of 0.88, categorized as highly valid, and an average practicality level of 89%, categorized as highly practical. These findings indicate that the PBL based LKPD is appropriate for use as a mathematics instructional material in elementary schools, as it is easy to use, aligned with students’ characteristics, and supports student-centered learning in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum.

This research is motivated by the low independence and science learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 2 Jagapura Lor. The purpose of this research is to improve student independence and learning outcomes by applying the Inquiri learning method to science learning style materials in grade IV SDN 2 Jagapura Lor This study uses the Kemmis & MC Taggart model research design, namely classroom action research (PTK). The subject of this study is grade IV students of SDN 2 Jagapura Lor which totals 25 students and is carried out in 2 cycles each cycle there is 1 meeting. Data collection tools in the form of test questions and observation sheets were then analyzed by descriptive and quantitative analysis techniques. This research is said to be successful if the application of the Inquiri learning method, student learning independence and student learning outcomes can be increased in accordance with the predetermined success indicators. The results of the study showed that the percentage of observation results in the application of the Inquiri learning method in the first cycle was 79.41%, increasing in the second cycle to 88.23% and reaching 91.91% in the third cycle. The percentage of observation results of student learning independence in cycle I was 77.08%, increasing in cycle II to 86.33% and reaching 92.91% in cycle III. The percentage of learning outcomes of students in the first cycle was 72%, increasing in the second cycle to 88% and reaching 92% in the third cycle. Based on the datafrom the research results, it can be concluded that the Inquiri learning method can increase the independence and learning outcomes of students in learning science style materials for grade IV students of SDN 2 Jagapura Lor.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing learning model assisted by visual media on the mathematical concept understanding ability of second-grade elementary school students on the Flat Shape material. The population of this study was all second-grade students of SDN 001 Langgini, totaling 30 students. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, namely class II A as the experimental class (15 students) and class II B as the control class (15 students). Data collection techniques in this study used observation, tests, and documentation. The instruments used were student and teacher activity observation sheets, written post-test questions, and photo documentation of learning activities. The experimental class was given treatment using the Snowball Throwing model assisted by visual media, while the control class used conventional learning. The results of the analysis using an independent t-test showed that the average post-test of the experimental class was 85.40, while the control class was 71.00, with a significance value of 0.004 <0.05, which indicated a significant difference between the two classes. Thus, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing learning model, supported by visual media, has an impact on elementary school students' mathematical concept understanding.

This research is motivated by the low cognitive abilities of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 010 Siabu. One solution to address this issue is to use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the use of the Problem Based Learning model has an effect on the learning process of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 010 Siabu. The research method used is Quasi-Experimental, conducted with two classes: an experimental class and a control class. Each class had one learning session; the experimental class was taught using the Problem Based Learning model, while the control class used the Discovery Learning model. The subjects of this study were 20 students from class VA (control class) and 20 students from class VB (experimental class). Students' cognitive abilities were measured using pre-test and post-test data. The results showed that in the experimental class, the average pre-test score before applying the Problem Based Learning model was 68.0, and the average post-test score after applying the model increased to 90.0, showing a 22% improvement. In the control class, which used the Discovery Learning model, the average pre-test score was 57.5 and the post-test score was 73.5, showing a 16% improvement. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model has a positive effect on students’ cognitive abilities in Pancasila learning for fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 010 Siabu.

The development of modern society, marked by rapid technological advancement and an instant culture, poses serious challenges to students’ self-development and character formation. Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) is required not only to transmit normative religious values but also to internalize them into sustainable and concrete daily habits. This article aims to examine the concept of self-development in Atomic Habits by James Clear and analyze its relevance to Islamic Religious Education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research. The primary data source is the book Atomic Habits, supported by scientific literature related to self-development, habit psychology, and Islamic education. Data analysis is conducted through content analysis and a descriptive-interpretative approach. The findings indicate that the concept of atomic habits, which emphasizes small and consistent changes, strongly aligns with Islamic principles such as istiqāmah (consistency), intention (niyyah), and the habituation of righteous deeds. The principles of habit formation proposed in Atomic Habits are relevant to be integrated into Islamic Religious Education as a strategy to gradually and sustainably develop students’ Islamic habits. This study concludes that integrating the Atomic Habits concept into Islamic Religious Education has the potential to strengthen character formation, discipline, and students’ self-development in facing the challenges of the modern era.

The background of this study is the low interest of students in learning mathematics in class IV. This study aims to increase interest in learning mathematics in class IV UPT SDN 010 Stabu. This research is a class action research, which was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this study were 1 teacher and 25 students, while the object was to use the Application of Realistic Mathematics Education Learning Model Assisted by Canva in Increasing Interest in Learning Mathematics of Elementary School Students This research instrument consists of teacher activity observation sheets, student activią observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets While the data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of research that has been carried out through 2 cycles, in cycle I the total score is 1,511 with 60,4% completeness in the sufficient category. In cycle II the total score was 2,029 with 81.1% completeness in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it shows that when applying the Realistic Mathematic Education Learning Model assisted by Canva, it can increase the interest in learning mathematics of class IV UPT SDN 010 Stabu students

This research aimed at describing the increase of student creative thinking ability in mathematics learning through Gallery Walk method at the fourth grade of State Elementary School 009 Pulau Jambu. It was classroom action research. The subjects of this research were a teacher and 21 students. The objects were Gallery Walk method and creative thinking ability. This research was conducted for two cycles, and every cycle comprised two meetings. Observation, test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data. The technique of analyzing data was qualitative descriptive analysis with percentage. Based on the research findings and data analyses, student creative thinking ability was still low before the action were on very uncreative category. After the improvement action with Gallery Walk method was conducted in the first cycle, student creative thinking ability increased 75 was on uncreative category. In the second cycle, student creative thinking ability increased again 85 were on creative category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the learning with Gallery Walk method could increase student creative thinking ability in mathematics learning at the fourth grade of State Elementary School 009 Pulau Jambu.

The background of this research is the low problem-solving ability of students in mathematics lessons in class V. This study aims to improve mathematical problem solving skills in class V UPT SDN 005 Binuang. This research is a classroom action research, which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this study were 1 teacher and 23 students, while the object was using the Application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Model to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Skills in Elementary Schools. The research instruments consist of teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, documentation sheets, and test sheets during the learning process using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Model Application. while the data analysis techniques used are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out through 2 cycles, in cycle I meeting 1 the number of students who completed was 9 students (39.13%) with a very lacking category, and in cycle I meeting 2 the number of students who completed was 13 students (56.52%) with a lacking category. In cycle II, meeting 1, the number of students who completed increased by 17 students (73.91%) with a sufficient category, and in cycle II, meeting 2, the number of students who completed increased by 19 students (82.60%) with a good category. Based on the results of this study, it shows that implementing the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Model can improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of class V students at UPT SDN 005 Binuang.

This research is motivated by the low social communication skills of fifth grade students of SDN 005 Langgini. Therefore, the researcher determines an alternative solution to the problem in the form of implementing learning using the discovery learning model to improve the social communication skills of fifth grade students of SDN 005 Langgini. The type of research applied is (PTK) Classroom Action which is carried out in two cycles of stages in the form of planning stages, implementation stages, observation stages, and reflection stages. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation techniques. The collected data will then be processed using qualitative and quantitative processing techniques. The results of the study obtained were an increase in students' social communication skills with the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model for grade V students of SDN 005 Langgini in the subject of Science, the material of Indonesia is rich in culture, increasing especially in the second cycle, as seen from the results of the observation sheets that have been carried out by researchers in each cycle. During cycle I meeting 1, the success rate was only 29.5% and the second meeting was 39.6% which reflects a success rate of only 34.3% and this is included in the less category. While in cycle II meeting 1 the success rate was 53.8% and the second meeting was 81% which reflects a success rate of 76.8% this is included in the good category
