Abstract

This study examines literacy and numeracy as essential basic competencies in developing critical thinking skills, logical reasoning, and learning independence among elementary school students in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to describe the implementation of literacy and numeracy activities for third-grade students at SDN 2 Mulyoagung, identify the forms of activities applied in the learning process, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving data triangulation through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, class teacher, and students, as well as documentation analysis including activity photos and field notes. The findings reveal that literacy activities are conducted through 15-minute reading sessions before lessons, round-robin loud reading, and simple daily writing in the Catatan Harianku notebook, while numeracy involves memorizing multiplication tables 1–10 and contextual problem exercises using concrete objects. The implementation is strongly supported by consistent school policies, teachers' creative role in method adaptation, and basic facilities such as classroom reading corners, but is hindered by library renovations, limited book variety, constrained learning time, and students' ability disparities requiring extra guidance. This condition indicates suboptimal implementation in equally meeting students' learning needs sustainably. Therefore, the activities have progressed adequately as a GLS foundation but require optimization through resource procurement, teacher training, and digital technology utilization to achieve higher effectiveness, inclusivity, and sustainability in supporting the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the "Jumat Berbagi" (Friday Sharing) program, analyze its impact on students' social care character, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors at SD N 4 Kutoharjo. Character education is crucial in elementary school as it forms the foundation for future personality development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation. The results indicate that "Jumat Berbagi" is implemented through a structured process where students bring food and drinks to be distributed to the local community and social institutions. This activity significantly impacts students' character by fostering empathy, sympathy, and a willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. Supporting factors include high enthusiasm from students and support from parents and school staff, while inhibiting factors include occasional logistical challenges and varying levels of initial student understanding. Abstract

This study was conducted to examine students’ creative thinking abilities when solving integer-related problems. A qualitative design with a case study approach was employed. The research took place at a public secondary school in Jambi City, involving twenty-eight seventh-grade students who had previously studied integers. Data on students’ creative thinking were collected through a set of integer problem tasks and analyzed based on established indicators of creative thinking. The participants were classified into three groups: low (score < 6.7), medium (6.7 ≤ score < 13.4), and high (score ≥ 13.4). The findings revealed that students in the low category demonstrated limited creative thinking abilities. In contrast, those in the medium and high categories exhibited elements of fluency and flexibility. Nevertheless, only students in the high group consistently showed all four dimensions of creative thinking. Furthermore, students across all categories showed insufficient understanding of integer set concepts. Only those in the high category were able to clearly justify and explain their responses. Meanwhile, students in the low and medium groups generally experienced difficulties in completing the written tasks provided.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of GeoGebra as a learning media on students' spatial ability in learning solid geometry at the elementary school level. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a posttest-only control design. The participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group taught using GeoGebra and a control group taught using conventional methods. The instrument used was an essay test that had been validated and tested for reliability. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group (77.38) was higher than that of the control group (60.38). Hypothesis testing using a t-test indicated a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which means that GeoGebra has a significant effect on students' spatial ability. Therefore, GeoGebra can be considered an effective learning media to improve spatial ability in learning solid geometry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models, the level of Islamic dress implementation among female students, and to examine the influence of Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models on the Islamic dress attitudes of class X female students at SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive-associative approach. The research sample consisted of 23 female students determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the study showed that: (1) The Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models were in the "Good" category (48%); (2) The Islamic dress attitudes of female students were in the "Enough" category (43%); (3) There was a positive and significant influence between the Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models on the Islamic dress attitudes of female students with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.780 (strong correlation) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher role models to female students' dress code was 60.9%, while the remaining 39.1% was influenced by other factors such as social media exposure, peer group environment, and family background. This study concludes that teacher role models are key to the internalization of moral values ​​in schools.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar memiliki tantangan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep pembelajaran berkonsep saintifik. Pembelajaran konvensional yang berorientasi pada ceramah seringkali membuat siswa kurang termotivasi sehingga sulit mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Mystery Box adalah media pembelajaran inovatif yang memanfaatkan unsur kejutan untuk meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu, keterlibatan siswa, dan pemahaman konsep IPA secara konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Mystery Box terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental One Group Pretest–Posttest pada 27 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Lamper Tengah 01. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar IPA yang meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata skor antara pretest dan posttest dengan nilai statistik t hitung = 9,76 > t tabel = 2,06 pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan Mystery Box terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Selain itu, peningkatan keterlibatan afektif sebesar 93 % dan psikomotorik sebesar 85 % menunjukkan bahwa media Mystery Box tidak hanya efektif meningkatkan kompetensi kognitif, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan keterampilan praktik siswa. Temuan ini konsisten dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Mystery Box dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan hasil belajar IPA siswa (Syaira & Meilana, 2025; Hidayat & Lestari, 2025). Kesimpulannya, penerapan Mystery Box dalam pembelajaran IPA memberikan dampak positif secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV dan layak dipertimbangkan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPA yang efektif.

Abstract

Vocational education buildings require more complex utility systems compared to general education buildings because learning activities focus on practical work using machines and equipment. In the Heavy Equipment Engineering Building at SMK Negeri 1 Singosari, lighting and ventilation systems play an important role in supporting safety, comfort, and effectiveness during practical activities. The problem addressed in this study is the condition of the utility systems, particularly lighting and ventilation, and the constraints found in the building. This study aims to analyze and identify the utility systems in the Heavy Equipment Engineering Building of SMK Negeri 1 Singosari, identify existing problems and constraints, and provide a basis for facility development. The research method used was a descriptive method with a field observation approach. Data were collected through direct observation and documentation of lighting and ventilation systems on the first and second floors of the building. The results showed that the lighting system on both floors utilized a combination of natural and artificial lighting; however, several areas on the first floor still had uneven light intensity, especially during cloudy or rainy conditions. The ventilation system on the first floor used natural ventilation and exhaust fans, while the second floor used mechanical ventilation in the form of air conditioners and fans, which were effective in maintaining thermal comfort. Overall, the utility system in the building has supported practical learning activities, but further maintenance and development are still required to improve comfort and energy efficiency

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the level of students’ interest in participating in Guidance and Counseling (GC) services at SMK Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. The study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects were Grade X and XI students, with a sample of 156 students selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed based on four indicators of interest: enjoyment, attention, interest, and active involvement. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results indicate that, overall, students’ interest in participating in GC services remains low. This is reflected in the average percentage scores for each indicator, namely enjoyment at 10.77% (very low), attention at 32.94% (low), interest at 41.11% (moderate), and active involvement at 15.17% (low). The low level of students’ interest is influenced by several factors, including limited understanding of the functions of GC services, the absence of a specific schedule for GC services, and students’ perceptions that GC services are only intended for students with problems. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance students’ interest through the provision of a dedicated GC schedule, increased socialization of GC services, and the development of more engaging and varied service methods to encourage students to participate more actively in GC services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of learning activeness of fourth grade students in thematic learning at SDN 01 Tambakbaya. This research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of 30 students using exhaustive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of 15 items related to student learning activeness. The instrument was tested for validity with r values ranging from 0.489–0.668 which were higher than the r table value of 0.361, and showed high reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.847. The results indicate that the level of student activeness in thematic learning is categorized as high with an average percentage of 78.19%. Student activeness is reflected in participation in discussions, asking and answering questions, and collaborating in groups. This finding shows that thematic learning effectively encourages students to be actively involved both physically and mentally in the learning process. Thus, thematic learning is effective in improving the learning activeness of fourth grade students. However, variations in student activeness still exist, so teachers need to implement more varied and interactive learning strategies. Future research is recommended to use more diverse methods and expand the research subjects to obtain more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh sistem pengendalian intern terhadap risiko fraud di Koperasi Ramos Ronatama Nusantara Cabang Bekasi. Sistem pengendalian intern diukur menggunakan lima komponen kerangka COSO, meliputi lingkungan pengendalian, penilaian risiko, aktivitas pengendalian, informasi dan komunikasi, serta pemantauan, sedangkan risiko fraud dinilai melalui indikator penggelapan aset, manipulasi laporan keuangan, dan penyalahgunaan wewenang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif asosiatif. Populasi mencakup seluruh pengurus, pengelola, dan staf keuangan yang terlibat langsung dalam aktivitas operasional dan pengawasan, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa sistem pengendalian intern berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap risiko fraud, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar −0,487 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,663 mengindikasikan bahwa 66,3% variasi risiko fraud mampu dijelaskan oleh kualitas penerapan pengendalian intern. Komponen lingkungan pengendalian terbukti paling dominan dalam menekan risiko fraud dengan kontribusi parsial 62,6%, diikuti aktivitas pengendalian sebesar 55,2%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan pengendalian intern, khususnya pada komponen-komponen fundamentalnya, merupakan strategi terukur dan efektif dalam meminimalkan kerentanan kecurangan pada lembaga koperasi.
