Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of transformational leadership on teacher performance and the culture of educational quality in schools based on empirical research published between 2020 and 2026. Using a library research method, this article synthesizes findings from various academic databases. The results indicate that transformational leadership significantly improves teacher motivation, professionalism, and innovation, particularly during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. School principals acting as transformational leaders play a central role in fostering a sustainable quality culture, enhancing digital adaptation, and building positive school climates. However, challenges remain regarding contextual differences, resource availability, and research gaps, including the need for longitudinal and mixed-methods studies. This article confirms that transformational leadership remains a highly relevant and effective approach for improving educational quality in contemporary school settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing Islamic values in forming the aqil baligh generation at SMPIT Al Wakil Tulakan Pacitan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of various educational activities in the school environment. The results show that the internalization of Islamic values is implemented through the integration of learning activities, religious habituation, and the strengthening of a religious school culture. The main strategies include teacher role modeling, habituation of religious activities, and the creation of a religious educational environment. In addition, the school develops a character development model based on the concept of aqil baligh through six indicators: active, survive, resilient, mukallaf, wise, and civilized. This process contributes to developing students’ religious awareness and moral responsibility in carrying out religious obligations.

Abstract

The rapid use of social media among elementary school students has increased the risk of digital ethical issues, such as cyberbullying, misinformation, and inappropriate online communication. This community service article aims to develop and implement a social media ethics training model based on Pancasila values, integrated with digital citizenship and critical media literacy within the elementary school environment. The program was designed using a participatory approach through a series of activities, including interactive counseling, workshops, case-based discussions, simulations of ethical digital behavior, and teacher mentoring supported by systematic practical guide modules. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using a mixed-method approach, combining pretest and posttest assessments to measure participants’ understanding, along with observations of behavioral changes and participant reflections throughout the activities. The qualitative findings indicate an improvement in students’ awareness of polite online communication, increased caution in filtering and sharing information, and the development of tolerance in responding to differing opinions. The integration of Pancasila values serves as a contextual ethical foundation that strengthens the internalization of responsible digital behavior, thereby contributing to the development of adaptive and integrity-driven student character in the digital era.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the high number of private Islamic Elementary Schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) in Malang, which ranks third in East Java, and the complexity of structural pressures faced by teachers, such as low welfare, excessive administrative burdens, and limited professional certification coverage. The study used a quantitative explanatory approach with a cross-sectional survey method of 56 Islamic elementary school teachers in Malang Regency who were selected purposively. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS to test a structural model involving two exogenous variables (work environment and social capital) and one endogenous variable (teacher resilience). The results of the analysis showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on teacher resilience (t = 5.775; p = 0.00), and social capital also had a positive and significant effect on teacher resilience (t = 2.202; p = 0.028). These findings confirm that amid the structural pressures surrounding private madrasah teachers, resilience is not merely a personal attribute, but rather a psychosocial construct that can be strengthened through the creation of a conducive work environment, encompassing both physical and non-physical dimensions, as well as the development of social capital in the form of collective norms, relational networks, and trust among madrasah members. Practically, the results of this study recommend that stakeholders at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Islamic education foundations design institutional interventions that focus on optimizing work ecology and strengthening social cohesion as non-financial strategies to support teacher resilience and maintain the sustainability of the quality of basic Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of Hassan Hanafi’s concept of Occidentalism into the Islamic Religious Education (IRE) curriculum in public schools as a strategy for shaping the character of Muslims with a global perspective. The main issue raised is the hegemony of Western epistemology, which causes intellectual inferiority and an identity crisis among Muslim students, exacerbated by the unfiltered flow of digital globalization. The urgency of this study lies in the need to deconstruct the myth of Western universality in order to build intellectual sovereignty for the younger generation. The methodology employed is qualitative research using a literature review and content analysis of the Merdeka Curriculum documents and PAI materials. The findings indicate that the integration of Occidentalism through the dimension of Global Diversity within the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) enables students to position themselves as critical subjects (the ego) toward Western civilization (the other). This finding indicates that adaptive religious education is capable of transforming a mentality of blind imitation into critical-transformative awareness, thereby shaping individuals who are morally resilient and competitive on the international stage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of key geographic concepts (space, place, interconnection, and change) in improving students' geographic literacy on biodiversity material. This study uses a mixed method approach with a sequential explanatory design, which combines quantitative and qualitative data. The subjects of the study were grade XI students of SMAN 2 Bangko Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau. Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-tests and post-tests as well as interviews with geography teachers. The results of the study showed an increase in student literacy as indicated by an increase in the average score from 59.26 in the pre-test to 64.51 in the post-test. The results of the N-Gain analysis showed that the increase was in the moderate category with more prominent developments in higher-order thinking indicators, namely the ability to integrate, evaluate, and use information. In addition, the interview results showed that students became more active and had a high interest in learning after implementing learning based on key geographic concepts, so that the application of key geographic concepts made a positive contribution to improving students' geographic literacy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles on students’ mathematical reasoning ability in the topic of Systems of Linier Equations with Two Variables (SLETV). The research employed an ex post facto method involving 51 eighth-grade students of MTs NWDI Pringgasela in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire, a mathematical reasoning ability test, and interview guidelines. The test instrument consisted of items measuring indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, while interviews were conducted with six students who obtained the highest learning style scores to strengthen the analysis results. The findings revealed that partially, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles have a positive and significant effect on students’ mathematical reasoning ability, with a significance value of   This indicates that there is a positive relationship between students’ learning styles and their mathematical reasoning ability. The interview analysis further supports the findings, showing that visual learners tend to organize solution steps systematically and structurally, auditory learners understand better through verbal explanations and repetition, while kinesthetic learners comprehend more effectively through direct hands-on activities.This study demonstrates that learning style is a significant factor in supporting students’ mathematical reasoning ability. Therefore, it can be considered in designing more effective instructional strategies for the topic of Systems of Linier Equations in Two Variables (SLETV).

Abstract

This research aims to find out 1) How are the systematic implementation steps of differentiated integrated social studies learning strategies carried out. 2) How does differentiated learning influence various aspects of student’s development. 3) What are the challenges and practical solutions in implementing differentiated instruction in social studies. The research technique used is known as literature review, used to collect information or sources about a particular subject and can be accessed from various sources, including journals, books, the internet, and other literature. The results of the study show that the application of content, process, and product differentiation in Integrated social learning can significantly increase active engagement, intrinsic motivation, self confidence, and student learning outcomes. Comprehensive diagnostic assessment is the main foundation for successful implementationof differentiated learning. Teachers need to have competence in designing flexible learning tools, but still directed towards standardized goals. The implementation of differentiated learning in Integrated social also supports the realization of an inclusive and humanistic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Behavior Cards terhadap pemahaman materi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) serta perilaku sopan santun siswa kelas IV di SDN 273 Borongrappoa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Quasi-Experimental Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen (16 siswa) dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol (18 siswa). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen tes tertulis (pretest-posttest) untuk mengukur pemahaman materi dan lembar observasi untuk menilai perilaku sopan santun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan media Behavior Cards terhadap peningkatan pemahaman materi PPKn. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 dan rata-rata peningkatan (N-Gain) kelas eksperimen (0,67) yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,39). Selain itu, media ini juga terbukti efektif dalam membentuk perilaku sopan santun siswa, di mana 68,75% siswa di kelas eksperimen berhasil mencapai kategori 'Sangat Baik', berbanding terbalik dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak memiliki siswa pada kategori tersebut (0%). Simpulannya, penggunaan Behavior Cards secara efektif kognitif (pemahaman materi) dan afektif (perilaku sopan santun) pada siswa sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Behavior Cards, Pemahaman Materi, Perilaku Sopan Santun, PPKn.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 5-6 years at TK Islam Aisyah Muara Penimbung Ulu through the use of snakes and ladders game media. The primary problem identified was the low understanding of number symbol concepts, where children tended to memorize without understanding the meaning of the symbols. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis & McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 12 children. The results showed a significant increase in children's cognitive abilities, rising from a low completion rate in the pre-cycle stage to 49.6% in Cycle I, and reaching 80.47% in Cycle II. It is concluded that the use of the snakes and ladders game is effective as an interactive and concrete learning medium in transforming abstract mathematical concepts into an enjoyable learning experience for children.
