Abstract

Using digital technology in education is crucial for improving the quality of learning evaluation in elementary schools. This study aims to determine the effectiveness, barriers, and possible ways to utilize digital platforms such as Wordwall, Quizizz, Kahoot, Canva, and YouTube as evaluation tools. The methods used were literature review and development research. The results indicate that digital media can increase students' curiosity, enthusiasm for learning, and achievement because they are more engaging and tailored to their needs. Media such as Wordwall have very high validity and practicality, making them suitable for use. However, several issues remain, such as teachers' limited technological skills, limited internet access, and the potential for cheating during online assessments. Therefore, ongoing teacher training, strengthening digital leadership skills, and better use of learning analytics are needed. In general, digital media can improve learning outcomes if supported by a robust system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media on students’ news writing skills. This research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a one group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 113 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 41 Padang, while the sample was class VII E with 26 students selected using purposive sampling. The data were in the form of students' scores before and after the implementation of the model. The results showed that students' writing skills before treatment were in the sufficient category with an average score of 64.42, while after treatment they improved to the good category with an average score of 73.24. The t-test results indicated that the alternative hypothesis was accepted at a 95% significance level. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media has a significant effect on improving students' news writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profile of community political partiscipation from a political citizenship perspective in the neighborhood associantion (RT) head election in Anjir Serapat Timur village, Kapuas regency, which was conducted through a door to door mechanism. The study focuses on participation levels, formal and informal forms of participation and internal and external factors influencing citizen political local political partiticaption as an indicator practices at teha commnunity level. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approoch, with data collection techniques including observatin, interviews and documentation. Inforrmants included the village head, village officials, Rt head, community leaders, and farmer group administrators. Data analysis was conductes through data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions, with validity rested through triangulation and member cheking. The results indicate that the level of community political participation is hgh, characterized bby widespread use of voting right, However, this is not entirely based on personal considerations, influenced by social relantionships, kinship and the dominance of local leaders. Form of participation include formal activities such as voting and deliberation, as well as informal activities through more dominant social interaction. Factors that influence participaion include internal aspects in the form of political foundations, educatiion, political effricacy, trust and economic conditions, as well as external aspects in the form of door to door election systems, the influence of community leaders and kinship relations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Qur’anic memorization (tahfidz) learning and to identify factors affecting students’ learning concentration at Rumah Tahfidz El-Mubarak, Batam. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. The research subjects consist of students and teachers involved in tahfidz learning activities. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and the researcher’s direct involvement during the Field Experience Program (PLP). Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that tahfidz learning is carried out through three main stages: tahsin (improving recitation), murajaah (reviewing memorization), and memorization submission using the talaqqi method. Learning is conducted in small groups (halaqah) using an individual approach, which contributes to improving students’ recitation and memorization quality. However, several challenges were identified, including low student concentration, differences in memorization ability, and limited learning time. The study concludes that the success of tahfidz learning is not only determined by the methods used but also by the teacher’s ability to adapt instructional approaches to students’ characteristics. Therefore, more adaptive and varied learning strategies are needed to enhance students’ concentration and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing empathy in elementary school students as part of character building. However, in learning practices, students are still found to lack caring, cooperation, and mutual respect. Therefore, the implementation of social emotional learning (SEL) is needed. This study aims to describe the application of social emotional learning in developing students' empathy character, describe the development of students' empathy after the implementation of the learning, and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation in grade V of SD Islam Nurul Wahid, Jambi City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The informants of this study consisted of the principal and grade V teachers, while students were used as objects of observation. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and explanation of conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of social emotional learning is carried out in an integrated manner in learning activities through the habituation of positive attitudes, teacher role models, group discussions and religious activities at school. The implementation of this strategy has shown a positive impact on the development of student empathy, as seen in increased attitudes of helping each other, cooperation, mutual respect, and the ability to control emotions. Supporting factors for the implementation of this strategy include the active role of teachers, a conducive school environment, and consistent habits, while inhibiting factors include differences in student character, limited time, and lack of parental involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine The Influence of Learning Motivation and Self-Concept on Students’ Achievement in Islamic Religious Education at Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School TeboThis research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The population consisted of 90 students, and total sampling technique was applied. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS. The results revealed that: (1) learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on students’ achievement in Islamic Religious Education, (2) self-concept has a positive and significant effect on students’ achievement, and (3) learning motivation and self-concept simultaneously have a significant effect with a contribution of 12.4%. In conclusion, learning motivation and self-concept are important factors in improving students’ academic achievement. The implication of this study highlights the importance of enhancing learning motivation and developing positive self-concept through effective teaching strategies, guidance, and supportive educational environments. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Articulate Storyline learning media on the science learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Panca Rijang. The research method used is quantitative with a deductive approach. This type of research is a quasi experimental with a one group pretestposttest design. This study did not use a control group and an experimental group, but compared the learning outcomes of students before and after being treated in the form of the use of Articulate Storyline learning media. The research sample consisted of students in grades VII.1 and VII.2 with a total of 42 people. The research instrument used was a multiple-choice test given before (pretest) and after (posttest) treatment. The results showed that the average pretest score was 44.76, while the average posttest score increased to 84.88. The results of the N-Gain analysis showed a value of 0.7431 with an average percentage of 74.33%, which is included in the high category. This shows an increase in student learning outcomes after the use of Articulate Storyline learning media. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Articulate Storyline learning media has proven to be effective in improving the science learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Panca Rijang. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine 1) the characteristics of black sarong weaving (tope le’leng), 2) identify the supporting factors and obstacles faced by housewives as economic actors through black sarong weaving, and 3) analyze the role of housewives as weavers in improving family economic conditions in Bonto Baji Village, Bulukumba Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with artisan housewives and village officials, as well as documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is thematic analysis.The research findings indicate that 1) The process of weaving black sarongs involves several traditional stages, including the preparation of raw materials (warp threads and natural dyes from tarung leaves), the dyeing process, thread winding (appaturung), pattern formation and thread arrangement (anggane), and finally weaving (attannung) using a traditional loom. 2) The main supporting factors are increased purchasing interest due to the symbolic value of the sarong as a cultural identity, price variations that cater to various segments, and a self-employed work system at home. Conversely, inhibiting factors include promotional strategies that remain conventional (word of mouth), the dual burden of domestic and economic roles, and age-related factors that reduce the physical productivity of artisans. 3) The role of housewives in Bonto Baji Village reflects the implementation of the Triple Role of Women (reproductive, productive, and social). Productive contributions through weaving provide significant additional income to meet children’s food and educational needs, thereby enhancing family well-being and economic stability.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector has evolved from just an administrative tool to a strategic instrument in adaptive and data-based regional financial management. However, the study of digital transformation in the preparation of the Regional Apparatus Work Unit Work Plan and Budget (RKA-SKPD) still tends to be partial and focuses on technical aspects, without integrating the overall strategic, organizational, and resource readiness dimensions. This research aims to fill this gap through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study analyzes the scientific literature for the period 2018–2026 related to digital transformation, e-budgeting, and regional financial information systems. The results show that digital transformation not only improves efficiency, transparency, and accountability, but also drives a paradigm shift in the budgeting process, from an administrative approach to a data-based and analytics-based approach. In addition, the successful implementation of digital transformation is greatly influenced by the synergy between technology, human resource capacity, and strong institutional commitment. The findings of this study show that most previous studies have not examined the relationship between these three aspects integratively in the context of the preparation of RKA-SKPD. Therefore, this research offers a contribution in the form of a conceptual framework that places digital transformation as an ecosystem that connects technology, governance, and organizational culture. The implications of this research are expected to be a strategic basis for local governments in optimizing budgeting digitalization in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and Role Models on the entrepreneurial intention of students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam Riau. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The research sample consists of 154 students selected through proportional random sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS.The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial intention. In addition, Role Models also have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Simultaneously, entrepreneurship education and Role Models have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial intention of students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam Riau.These findings suggest that students’ entrepreneurial intention is influenced by the implementation of practical entrepreneurship learning as well as the presence of inspirational Role Models. This study is expected to serve as a consideration for faculties and study programs in developing integrated entrepreneurship programs and as a reference for future research.
