Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the development of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) and evaluate the financial performance of the Dharmasraya Regency Government during 2015–2024 through financial ratio analysis. The study used secondary time series data from the Regional Government Financial Report (LKPD) and Budget Realization Reports (LRA) of Dharmasraya Regency and applied a descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that APBD development fluctuated during the period. The regional financial independence ratio was 10.56 percent (very low), indicating strong dependence on central transfers. The PAD effectiveness ratio was 93.21 percent (moderately effective), while the financial efficiency ratio was 89.61 percent (moderately efficient). The fiscal decentralization ratio was 9.31 percent (very poor). The operational expenditure harmony ratio reached 76.01 percent (good), whereas the capital expenditure harmony ratio was 23.50 percent (poor). In addition, the PAD growth ratio was 9.72 percent (low). Overall, the financial performance of Dharmasraya Regency still needs improvement through PAD optimization.

This research is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of sharia principles in the hotel industry, despite the continued development of the sharia hotel concept in Indonesia. This phenomenon indicates a gap between claims of being a sharia hotel and operational implementation in accordance with Islamic economic law. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 108 of 2016 concerning Guidelines for Organizing Tourism Based on Sharia Principles in the management of Al-Badar Hotel Syariah Makassar, and to identify various obstacles encountered in its implementation. The research method used is field research with a qualitative interpretative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively with an inductive approach to understand the suitability between hotel management practices and the principles of sharia economic law. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of sharia principles has been carried out in several key aspects, namely service, facilities, and guest selection. In the service aspect, Islamic moral values have been applied through the friendly and polite attitude of employees. In terms of facilities, the hotel has provided an environment free from haram elements and supports religious needs. Meanwhile, in terms of guest selection, the hotel has implemented a policy of refusing non-mahram couples. However, this implementation remains partial due to the lack of institutional support, such as the absence of a Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) and the lack of a comprehensive sharia management system. The main obstacles faced include limited understanding of human resources, low public literacy regarding the concept of sharia hotels, and the absence of a formal oversight system. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening institutions and improving human resource competencies to optimize the implementation of sharia principles comprehensively and sustainably.

This study aims to determine the application of picture cards as a medium for active learning and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Izzul Islam. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research focuses on the learning process, student participation, and changes in motivation. Data were collected through observation and evaluated across two cycles. The results showed a significant increase in student activity, rising from 35% in the initial conditions to 90% in the second cycle. Furthermore, classical completeness improved from 40% to 95%, with the class average rising from 62.5 to 86.5. The findings indicate that picture cards effectively bridge abstract concepts into concrete visuals, which is suitable for the cognitive development of first-grade students. In conclusion, picture cards serve as an economical, flexible, and practical solution to enhance active learning and student learning outcomes.

This study aims to analyze human resource development (HRD) strategies in Islamic education through a literature review approach. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study, where data are collected from various relevant academic sources such as journals and books, and then analyzed descriptively. The results show that human resource development in Islamic education is not only focused on improving professional competencies but also on strengthening character and spiritual values. HRD strategies are implemented through training and development, career development, performance evaluation, as well as modern approaches such as talent management and sustainable human resource practices. In addition, the quality of human resources is influenced by internal, external, and organizational factors. The impact of HR development can be seen in improving individual performance, institutional quality, and organizational competitiveness in a sustainable manner.

Low student learning outcomes and limited active participation in the classroom remain common issues, particularly in Islamic Education learning which is often dominated by conventional teaching methods. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Index Card Match (ICM) method on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education among eighth-grade students at SMPN 4 Klari. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving 86 students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality, linearity, homogeneity tests, and the Independent Samples t-Test. The results indicate that the implementation of the ICM method falls into the moderate category with an average score of 48.02, while students’ learning outcomes are in the moderate to high category with an average of 122.50. The hypothesis test shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Therefore, the Index Card Match method is proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes by enhancing student engagement in the learning process.

This study investigates the implementation of drama-based immersive learning as an innovative approach to Arabic language acquisition in an Islamic boarding school context. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research explores how the “Gebyar Seni Darussalam (Pra Drama Arena)” program facilitates students’ communicative competence through performance-based activities. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis involving Grade 3 intensive and Grade 4 students. The findings reveal that drama-based immersive learning significantly enhances students’ Arabic speaking proficiency, integrates four language skills, increases learner engagement, and strengthens confidence and willingness to communicate. More importantly, the study demonstrates that language acquisition occurs most effectively within an immersive environment where learners actively use language in meaningful social interactions. The study proposes a novel conceptual model, Institutionalized Drama-Based Immersive Learning (IDIL), which integrates performative pedagogy, continuous language exposure, and institutional support into a holistic learning ecosystem. This model offers both theoretical and practical contributions to Arabic language education by shifting the focus from instruction to experience and from classroom practice to institutionalized immersion. The findings suggest that drama-based immersion can serve as a scalable and sustainable model for enhancing language proficiency in similar educational settings.

ABSTRAK Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) merupakan salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang penting karena RPP dapat mengarahkan guru untuk dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Namun di TK Kartika VII, Kota Kupang, ditemukan adanya perbedaan antara RPP dan pembelajaran yang berlangsung, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan RPP. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan 3 orang guru, yakni guru kelas B1, B2, B3, selama kurang lebih tiga minggu. Pengecekenan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Setelah semua data terkumpul, data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan RPP diuraikan dalam faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal mencakup (1) pengelolaan waktu; dan (2) motivasi mengajar. Faktor eksternal mencakup (1) karakteristik anak; (2) tugas administrasi; dan (3) kondisi ruang kelas. Ketidakonsistenan dalam pengelolaan waktu dan administrasi evaluasi menjadi faktor yang paling menonjol. Faktor-faktor ini mengindikasikan bahwa perlu adanya pembenahan dari guru dan pihak sekolah agar pelaksanaan pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai dengan RPP yang telah disusun agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.

This study aims to examine the transformation of Sufism education in the contemporary Malay Islamic tradition, focusing on the shift in methodological paradigms and the resilience of traditional values amidst digitalization. Using a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with murshids and educational figures in Palembang, and a documentary study of classical manuscripts. The results demonstrate an epistemological reconstruction in which Sufism has transformed into an active and inclusive "Islamic psychotherapy" for urban communities to address psychospiritual distress. Methodologically, a hybridization of scientific transmission has occurred through the use of digital platforms (such as live streaming and podcasts) to examine authoritative texts such as Siyar al-Salikin, while maintaining the integrity of "Adab" and "Sanad" through physical interaction (muwajahah). Apart from that, Sufism education is integrated with local wisdom "Tunjung Ajar Melayu" which forms leadership characters with integrity and tawadhu. This research concludes that the transformation of Sufism education functions as a cultural filter that is able to absorb technological advances without sacrificing the identity of Malay spirituality which is based on the philosophy of "Adat bersendi syarak, syarak berndi kitabullah."

This study aims to identify the forms of allegorical signs in characters in the novel Rafilus by Budi Darma using a semiotic approach proposed by Charles Sanders Peirce. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design. Data were collected through literature review, note-taking, and reflective-introspective techniques, while data validity was ensured through triangulation. The data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that the forms of allegorical signs in the novel Rafilus are represented through five main characters: Rafilus, Jumarup, Van der Kloning, Pawestri, and Munandir. These characters are constructed as semiotic representations encompassing icons, indexes, and symbols. Iconic signs are reflected in the resemblance between the characters’ traits, conditions, or events and certain realities. Indexical signs emerge through causal relationships between the characters’ experiences and the meanings produced. Meanwhile, symbolic signs are indicated by the association between characters and socially and culturally constructed conventions. Thus, the use of allegorical signs in the characters functions not merely as a narrative element but also as a system of signs that constructs complex meanings. These three forms of signs collectively position the characters as allegorical entities representing human realities in social, moral, and existential dimensions.

The background to this research is based on the low student learning outcomes in Informatics and the predominant use of lecture methods, which lack active student participation in the learning process. Furthermore, the lack of use of technology-based learning media makes it difficult for students to understand the material, particularly on computer networks. This study aims to determine the application of the Game-Based Learning model using the ZEP Quiz media on student learning outcomes in Informatics for 11th graders at MAN 2 Samarinda. This research is an experimental study with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study involved 11th grade students as subjects. The instruments used included a pretest and posttest to measure student learning outcomes, as well as a student response questionnaire to assess responses to the learning process. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the Game-Based Learning model using the ZEP Quiz media. This was demonstrated by an average pretest score of 69.29 and an average posttest score of 89.57. The N-Gain analysis showed an average value of 66.77%, which is in the moderate category, indicating a fairly effective increase in learning outcomes. Furthermore, student responses to the learning process were positive, indicating that the use of the ZEP Quiz media was able to increase student interest and engagement in the learning process.
