Abstract

This research seeks to examine the dynamics of social interactions and the application of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction for students with special needs at SMP IT Nurul ‘Ilmi Tenggarong. Adopting a qualitative methodology with a descriptive framework, the study focused on participants identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Information was gathered via direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document review, then processed through an interactive analysis framework involving data condensation, presentation, and inference development. Key results reveal a strong link between social engagement and the learning experience. Learners with autism often struggle with verbal exchange and peer relationships, whereas those with ADHD encounter issues in sustaining focus and managing impulses. Such variations notably impact their involvement in PAI sessions. Flexible instructional methods like straightforward explanations, precise dialogue, and material reinforcement proved more successful in enhancing comprehension. The success of PAI for students with special needs hinges on interpersonal skills, pedagogical techniques, and backing from educational institutions and households. Hence, tailored and adaptable teaching methods are crucial for maximizing these students' capabilities.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is one of the key factors in determining the quality of education. Teachers do not merely serve as conveyors of instructional content, but also as educators who shape students’ character and competencies. In practice, teacher professionalism is often associated with a teacher’s ability to perform duties effectively and demonstrate optimal performance. However, the reality on the ground shows that various factors such as workload, work environment, professional competence, and institutional support also influence teachers’ performance in carrying out their duties. This article aims to conduct a conceptual review of teacher performance within the context of educational professionalism, focusing on three main aspects: the definition of performance, factors influencing teacher performance, and indicators of teacher performance in educational practice. The method used in this study is a literature review, examining various relevant literature on teacher professionalism and educational performance. The study findings indicate that teacher performance is a manifestation of teachers’ professional ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate the learning process. Teacher performance is influenced by various factors, both internal and external, such as competence, motivation, school leadership, organizational culture, as well as the reward system and workload. Furthermore, indicators of teacher performance can be observed through aspects of instructional planning, instructional delivery, assessment of learning outcomes, and continuous professional development. By understanding these factors, it is hoped that efforts to enhance teacher professionalism can be carried out in a more systematic and sustainable manner, thereby improving the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of elementary school students’ social interaction skills, which still show variations, particularly in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning. Low participation, lack of empathy, and suboptimal cooperation among students indicate the need for a learning approach that focuses not only on cognitive aspects but also on social-emotional aspects. This study aimed to describe students’ social interaction skills through a social-emotional learning approach and to identify the factors that support and hinder the process. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects were teachers and sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Gue Gajah Aceh Besar. Data were collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students’ social interaction skills through a social-emotional learning approach were categorized as very good, with an average percentage of 84.1%. The students’ social interaction skills in the aspects of conversation reached 89.9%, mutual understanding 82.5%, cooperation 83.7%, openness 82.1%, empathy 80%, providing support 80%, positive attitude 83.7%, and equality 92.5%. Although overall the results were categorized as very good, the aspects of empathy and providing support were relatively lower compared to the other aspects. Supporting factors of students’ social interaction included teacher role modeling, peer influence, teacher guidance and motivation, the desire to be accepted in groups, and caring attitudes. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors included students’ lack of self-confidence, the dominance of certain students in discussions, imitation of negative behavior, and a lack of mutual respect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence  of sibling rivalry on self disclosure to peers. The population in this study is grade VIII students of SMPN 13 Tangerang City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling which produces 76 samples. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. Normally distributed data with significance values of 0.200 > 0.05. The results of data analysis showed a significant negative influence between sibling rivalry on self disclosure (r = -0.376 and sig 0.001).  The results of the determination coefficient test showed a contribution  of sibling rivalry of 14.2% to self disclosure to peers. Followed by a simple linear regression test, there is a constant value of 88.367 and a regression coefficient value of (-0.239) meaning that if there is no X then Y is 88.367, if there is a 1% increase in sibling rivalry (X) it will decrease self disclosure (Y) by (-0.239). This indicates that the higher the level  of sibling rivalry, the lower the self disclosure experienced by students. The result was that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected because t counted -3.493 > t table 1.992.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji psikoedukasi sebagai strategi pencegahan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak melalui studi kasus di Yayasan Kakak Aman Indonesia. Meningkatnya kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak di Indonesia menunjukkan pentingnya intervensi edukatif yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan serta manfaat program psikoedukasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran anak mengenai kekerasan seksual. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan psikoedukasi dilakukan secara interaktif dan partisipatif melalui metode mendongeng, permainan edukatif, simulasi, dan media visual yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia sekolah dasar. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan bagian tubuh pribadi, batasan diri, jenis sentuhan aman dan tidak aman, serta keterampilan perlindungan diri. Program ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, keberanian anak untuk menolak, serta kemampuan dalam mengenali dan merespon situasi berisiko. Selain itu, psikoedukasi juga berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan keterampilan coping anak. Secara keseluruhan, psikoedukasi merupakan strategi preventif yang efektif karena mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif dan keterampilan praktis dalam upaya perlindungan anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membongkar kemapanan struktur logosentrisme orang dewasa dan melacak penyebaran makna (diseminasi) dalam novel Di Tanah Lada karya Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. Berbeda dengan penelitian terdahulu yang umumnya berfokus pada kritik sosial atau representasi kekerasan fisik, penelitian ini membedah bentuk kekerasan linguistik dan manipulasi afeksi menggunakan teori dekonstruksi Jacques Derrida. Melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kebuntuan logika (aporia) dan penundaan makna (différance) pada penanda-penanda kunci dalam teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua temuan utama. Pertama, terjadinya diseminasi bahasa di mana otoritas institusi kamus dan identitas "Ayah" mengalami desentralisasi, runtuh, dan gagal mendisiplinkan pikiran subjek anak. Kedua, terungkapnya paradoks afeksi pada penanda "Sayang"; makna kasih sayang yang diidealkan ditunda dan disebarkan menjadi alat manipulasi egois orang tua, sekaligus bertransformasi menjadi beban memori traumatis bagi anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa teks secara aktif meruntuhkan struktur bahasa dan moralitas orang dewasa yang rapuh, memaksa subjek marginal (anak-anak) mencari resolusi afeksinya sendiri melalui utopia kematian di Tanah Lada.

Abstract

Writing skills are one of the essential language skills in elementary education as they play a significant role in developing students' communication, critical thinking, and creativity. This study aims to analyze the writing skills of third-grade students at elementary school, which include aspects of content organization, writing conventions, and handwriting neatness, as well as to identify the internal and external factors influencing these skills. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of all third-grade students at elementary school, totaling 30 students, using a saturated sampling technique. The research instruments included questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that most students' writing skills were in the moderate category (93.3%), while both high and low categories were 3.3% each. These findings indicate that students' writing abilities are relatively stable but still require improvement through more varied teaching strategies and a supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Digital technology enhances the quality of microteaching and the teaching competencies of prospective teachers through the use of media such as videos, online platforms, and interactive devices, including in Physical Education (PJOK) instruction, which impacts students’ understanding, motivation, and engagement. However, specific studies on the integration of digital technology in Physical Education microteaching remain limited, particularly those that comprehensively address cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, and they still face challenges related to infrastructure, digital literacy, and curriculum. This study aims to examine the utilization of digital technology in Physical Education microteaching through a literature review to analyze concepts, impacts, effectiveness, and challenges as a foundation for developing 21st-century learning models.

Abstract

The growing demand for efficient and sustainable animal feed production in rural areas underscores the need for a reliable, energy-independent feed-making system. This study aims to design and develop a livestock feed-making machine integrated with a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as its primary energy source, enabling fully autonomous operation without dependence on the conventional electricity grid. An experimental design and prototyping approach was adopted, covering system design, component specification, and technical calculation. The system consists of solar panels, a battery bank, a Solar Charge Controller (SCC), and an electric motor drive. Based on a total daily energy requirement of 3,210 Wh, the designed system employs five 140 Wp solar panels, a 48V/100 Ah battery, and a 20A SCC. The calculation results show that the designed system is theoretically capable of supplying sufficient energy for fully autonomous operation, offering a practical and environmentally friendly solution for farmers in areas with limited grid electricity access.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is a basic skill that students need to have to face the challengesof the 21st century. This study aims to analyze the improvement of scientific literacyof fifth-grade elementary school students through the implementation of Science,Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)-based learning on the topic"Getting to Know the Earth". This type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample of thisstudy consisted of 32 fifth-grade students of SDN 042 Pekanbaru who were selectedusing a purposive sampling technique. The data collection instrument was amultiple-choice scientific literacy test that covered the dimensions of PISA scientificliteracy. Data analysis used the average test and the Normalized Gain (N-Gain)formula. The results showed an average pretest score of 89.06 and increased to91.25 in the average posttest score. The N-gain analysis showed an increase of0.20 which is included in the low category. The low N-gain score is caused by theceiling effect because the students' initial scores were already very high, so the roomfor score improvement is limited. Overall, the implementation of STEM-basedlearning through the “artificial rain” experiment has a positive impact instrengthening students' understanding of scientific concepts and literacy in ameaningful way.
