Abstract

The flow of globalization, accompanied by accelerated digitalization, creates multi-layered challenges for basic education, especially in character formation and maintaining students' cultural identity. It is not enough for elementary school teachers to only carry out the function of transferring knowledge; they are required to respond to cultural shifts through contextual and adaptive learning designs. This research aims to systematically map elementary school teachers' strategies in responding to the dynamics of cultural change. The study used a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method within the PRISMA framework, through the stages of identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and synthesis of 12 scientific articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the study reveal four dominant strategies: integrating local wisdom values ​​in learning, strengthening school culture with an identity, implementing the Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (CRP) and Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) frameworks, and utilizing digital media based on local cultural riches. These four strategies have been proven to contribute to forming character, affirming cultural identity, increasing learning engagement, and fostering a tolerant attitude towards diversity. This study concludes that the dynamics of cultural change due to globalization should not only be seen as a threat, but also as a momentum for teachers to provide learning that is meaningful, inclusive, and remains rooted in local cultural values.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low short story writing skills of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, where the average student performance had not reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 75. This study aimed to describe students' short story writing skills before and after the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media, and to analyze the effect of this model on students' writing skills. This was a quantitative study using an experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population consisted of all grade XI students, with a sample of 25 students from class XI F6 selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via short story writing performance tests and analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis (t-test) tests. The results showed that the average short story writing score before using the Project-Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media was 47.88 (Nearly Sufficient), while it increased to 71.38 (More than Sufficient) after the intervention. Hypothesis testing indicated that the t-count was greater than the t-table (7.51 > 1.98), leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). Thus, it is concluded that the Project-Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media has a significant influence on the short story writing skills of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis digital. media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Kemampuan berbicara siswa yang rendah adalah dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya kepercayaan diri, kurangnya latihan berbicara, dan pembelajaran yang kurang interaktif. metode. Di era digital, media seperti vlog, podcast, dan media sosial telah menjadi Alat-alat inovatif yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan dengan metode tinjauan pustaka dengan menganalisis studi-studi relevan yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir (2022-2026). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran digital secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa, khususnya dalam hal kelancaran, kepercayaan diri, pengucapan, dan efektivitas komunikasi. Selain itu, media digital menciptakan komunikasi yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan Lingkungan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa yang mendorong partisipasi aktif. Oleh karena itu, Integrasi media pembelajaran berbasis digital dianggap sebagai strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan Kompetensi berbicara dalam pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

  This study aims to examine the concept, objectives, criteria, and steps of learning media evaluation within the context of developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning technology. The method used is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources consist of primary and secondary literature, including books, journal articles, and relevant academic documents, particularly the works of Richard E. Mayer (Multimedia Learning), Azhar Arsyad (Learning Media), Daniel Stufflebeam (CIPP model), and Benjamin S. Bloom (taxonomy of educational objectives). Data collection techniques employed documentation, while data analysis used content analysis. The findings show that the evaluation of PAI learning media is a systematic process to assess the feasibility, effectiveness, and suitability of media with the goals of Islamic education. The evaluation must cover four main aspects: material aspects (accuracy of scriptural evidence, curriculum alignment), technical aspects (display, user-friendliness), pedagogical aspects (interactivity, critical thinking), and Islamic value aspects (morals, sharia). The evaluation steps include: (1) determining evaluation objectives, (2) developing instruments, (3) conducting trials, (4) collecting response data, and (5) analyzing results and making continuous improvements. In conclusion, the evaluation of PAI learning media is an integral part of developing learning technology that is not only innovative but also meaningful and transformative, balancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This research examines 30 scientific articles consisting of 20 national journals and 10 international journals published within the last five years. The SLR process was conducted through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion in accordance with the PRISMA procedure. The findings indicate that facilities and infrastructure management—covering planning, procurement, inventory management, maintenance, and supervision—has a significant influence on improving the quality of education, particularly in enhancing learning effectiveness, student achievement, and the quality of educational services. The analysis also identifies the presence of a theoretical gap, phenomenal gap, and research gap in studies related to educational facilities and infrastructure management. The state of the art of this research lies in integrating facilities and infrastructure management with educational quality through an SLR approach. The novelty of this study is the development of a conceptual model of facilities and infrastructure management based on educational quality improvement.

Abstract

Most teachers are still lacking in utilizing learning media in the form of animated videos because they find it difficult to utilize technology in learning. This study aims to develop animated video-based teaching media to improve students' conceptual understanding in science learning on changing energy forms in grade IV of SD Negeri 61 Banda Aceh. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were grade IV students of SD Negeri 61 Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, expert validation questionnaires, and pretest and posttest tests. The results of the study showed that the developed animated video-based teaching media obtained validation scores from material experts of 88%, language experts of 88%, and media experts of 94% with a very valid category. Then, the test results showed an increase in students' conceptual understanding as seen from the average pretest score of 55.6 increasing to 93.6 in the posttest. Thus, animated video-based teaching media is very suitable for use to improve students' conceptual understanding in science learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of interactive learning media to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used was a literature review of ten scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026, which were analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that interactive media such as multimedia, animated videos, and learning applications have a positive impact on student motivation, engagement, and understanding, as well as improving learning outcomes. However, their effectiveness is also influenced by teachers' learning strategies. Therefore, the use of interactive media requires appropriate planning to make learning more engaging and meaningful.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Efforts to Improve Students' Early Reading Skills Through the Use of Integrated Phonics Methods in Grade 1 of Elementary School UPTD SD Inpres Sikumana 3". This study is motivated by the low initial reading skills of grade 1 students of elementary school UPTD SD Inpres Sikumana 3 Kupang City in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study aims to improve the initial reading skills of grade 1 students of elementary school UPTD SD Inpres Sikumana 3 Kupang through the application of integrated phonics methods in the form of two-cycle Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study were 28 grade 1 students who experienced early reading difficulties, with a pre-cycle completion rate of only 29% and an average score of 4.71. The results of cycle I showed a completion rate of 64% (average score of 7.5) and cycle II reached 89.28% (average score of 9.28), exceeding the target of 80%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the integrated phonics method is effective in improving early reading skills quantitatively and qualitatively in grade 1 elementary school students at UPTD SD Inpres Sikumana 3. This study is recommended to be widely applied in early literacy learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Write Around learning model on the narrative writing skills of third-grade students at SDN Biringkaloro, Gowa Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest–Posttest design, involving 22 students as the sample. Data were collected through tests and observations, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in the average score from 67.00 to 86.00, and learning mastery improved from 45% to 100%. The implementation of the learning model reached 87% (high category), while student activity reached 83% (very high category). The hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the Write Around model has a significant and positive effect on improving students’ narrative writing skills

Abstract

Academic ethics constitute a crucial foundation in modern education, which stands at a crossroads between the advancement of digital technology, global competitive pressure, and contemporary moral challenges. This article elaborates the essence of academic ethics as a set of moral principles—such as honesty, integrity, responsibility, fairness, and respect—that govern the behavior of academic communities and prevent violations such as plagiarism, data manipulation, and online cheating. In Indonesia, the unique context of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and the regulation stipulated in Permendikbud No. 53/2019 demands shared responsibility among institutions (through codes of ethics and monitoring), lecturers/teachers (as role models), students (self-awareness), as well as the government and society (regulation and public campaigns). This approach aims to form a generation that is both knowledgeable and moral, integrating local Pancasila values with the demands of the disruptive era in order to maintain the quality of education and the reputation of educational institutions.
