Abstract

The 21st-century educational paradigm demands changes in teaching methods to bridge the gap between students’ learning inside and outside the classroom. Older, teacher-centered methods that emphasize rote memorization have been replaced by approaches that allow students to learn independently, flexibly, and through technology. The objective of this literature review is to identify the foundational concepts and pedagogical requirements for integrating constructivism, humanism, and connectivism to create holistic learning that is relevant to the digital age. This study employs a qualitative methodology and a literature review. Data were collected through a documentary study of various primary and secondary sources. Subsequently, ideas from the three theories were identified, compared, and synthesized through content analysis. The results indicate that integrating these three theories can foster learner-centered learning, increase student engagement, enhance their autonomy, and make learning more adaptable to technological advancements. The success of this implementation depends on a safe learning environment, contextual tasks, the availability of digital resources, and the teacher’s role as a facilitator.

Abstract

This study originated from the critical need to evaluate school principal leadership within the School-Based Management (SBM) framework. The investigation focused on the prevailing gap between structured administrative management and genuine staff engagement. The primary objective was to analyze the current leadership dynamics at SD 3 Buduk and identify strategic paths toward an ideal management model. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing systematic observations across four fundamental leadership pillars. The findings reveal a striking contrast in leadership performance. While visionary and transparency indicators exhibit excellent standards, participatory decision-making remains at a mediocre level. This evidence suggests that an instructive leadership style persists despite high levels of information openness. Consequently, achieving ideal school management necessitates a shift toward collective collaboration. It is essential for the principal to foster deliberative dialogue, ensuring that systemic efficiency harmonizes with meaningful staff involvement to reach democratic educational excellence. Abstract

Sexual violence against children is still a serious problem in Indonesia which is influenced by children's low understanding of personal body boundaries and dangerous situations. Therefore, preventive efforts are needed through early education with an approach that is appropriate to the child's characteristics. This activity aims to increase children's understanding and awareness of the prevention of sexual violence through an educational approach based on interactive activities in the Pekijing Literacy Village. The implementation method is carried out through the coordination, implementation and evaluation stages using storytelling, singing and educational games. The target of the activity is school-age children who are given an understanding of private body parts, inappropriate behavior, and how to protect themselves from dangerous situations. The results of the activity show an increase in children's understanding of recognizing private body parts, the ability to identify behavior that leads to sexual violence, and the courage to refuse and report inappropriate actions. The interactive approach is also able to increase children's participation and involvement during the activity. Thus, an educational approach based on interactive activities can be an effective preventive strategy in efforts to prevent sexual violence against children from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on digital media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning through micro teaching activities. The background of this research is the need for innovative and interactive learning strategies in the digital era to increase student engagement and understanding, especially in learning the history of the Umayyad Dynasty. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and reflective notes during the learning process. The digital media used in this study included YouTube as a learning resource, Canva as an educational game medium, and Wordwall as an interactive evaluation tool. The results showed that the implementation of the digital-based TGT model created a more interactive, enjoyable, and student-centered learning atmosphere. Students demonstrated higher motivation, active participation, and better understanding of the material through group collaboration and academic games. In addition, the use of digital media helped teachers present historical material more visually and attractively. Although there were several obstacles, such as limited time and technological readiness, overall, the implementation of digital-based learning was proven effective in supporting the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in the modern educational era.

Abstract

Learning assistance is an essential form of facilitation that helps children overcome learning difficulties, particularly children in orphanages with diverse social backgrounds, traumatic experiences, and varying cognitive abilities. The lack of reading habits and the low culture of literacy and numeracy among children in orphanages indicate the need for structured interventions through learning assistance programs oriented toward literacy and numeracy development. This study aims to systematically analyze the role of learning assistance in developing literacy and numeracy among children in orphanages. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach. Data were obtained from national articles indexed in Google Scholar and published between 2022 and 2026. The findings show that structured, empathetic, and continuous learning assistance has a significant impact on improving reading, numeracy, writing, critical thinking skills, and learning motivation among children in orphanages. Furthermore, the integration of digital-based approaches, creative activities, and community collaboration effectively strengthens the sustainability and inclusivity of literacy and numeracy programs within orphanage environments. This study concludes that learning assistance is not merely an academic effort but also a form of social empowerment that supports the development of a sustainable literacy and numeracy culture within the framework of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cashback and discount features of digital wallets (e-wallet) on Generation Z financial decision-making through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. This study employed a quantitative associative method using path analysis (path analysis) with SPSS software. Data were collected from 111 respondents who were active students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, Generation Z aged 18–30 years, and active users of digital wallets who had transacted using cashback or discount features at least once. The results showed that cashback had a positive and significant effect on perceived usefulness (β=0.432, sig.=0.000) and perceived ease of use (β=0.382, sig.=0.000). Discount also had a positive and significant effect on perceived usefulness (β=0.239, sig.=0.005) and perceived ease of use (β=0.382, sig.=0.000). Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly influenced attitude toward using (β=0.401 and β=0.340, sig.=0.000). Attitude toward using significantly influenced behavioral intention to use (β=0.570, sig.=0.000), and behavioral intention to use significantly influenced financial decision-making (β=0.502, sig.=0.000). The overall coefficient of determination (R²) of the full model reached 0.99, indicating that the model explains 99% of variance in financial decision-making. The Sobel test confirmed that all mediating paths were significant. The findings indicate that cashback is more dominant than discount in influencing Generation Z e-wallet usage behavior and financial decision-making.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low interest and early reading ability of young children, as well as the limited variety of instructional media used in classrooms. The objective of this research is to develop a digital illustrated storybook media that is valid, practical, and effective in improving early childhood reading skills. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results indicate that the developed media is categorized as highly valid based on expert validation, practical for teachers to use, and effective in enhancing children's reading abilities. This improvement is reflected in children's ability to recognize letters, read syllables and simple words, understand story content, and increased learning interest and participation. Therefore, the digital illustrated storybook media can serve as an innovative alternative in early reading instruction and has implications for improving the quality of learning to be more interactive, engaging, and appropriate to early childhood characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of village apparatus competence and the implementation of SISKEUDES (Village Financial Management Information System) in the digital era on the accountability of village fund management in Tellu Limpoe District, Bone Regency. The increasing allocation of village funds, reaching Rp10.22 billion in Tellu Limpoe in 2024, demands strong accountability mechanisms supported by competent human resources and reliable information systems. This study employs a quantitative causal-associative approach with a survey method and explanatory research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 77 village apparatus members and BPD members across 11 villages. The research instrument used a Likert scale and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that village apparatus competence has a positive and significant effect on the accountability of village fund management (t = 5.353; sig. = 0.000). The implementation of SISKEUDES has a positive but not significant effect (t = 1.574; sig. = 0.120). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence accountability (F = 27.432; sig. = 0.000), explaining 42.6% of the variance. These findings indicate that improving village apparatus competence is a critical factor in enhancing accountability in the digital era, while SISKEUDES implementation still requires optimization of technological infrastructure to deliver its full potential impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of digital payment systems on the effectiveness of Land and Building Tax (PBB) administration in Watang Sawitto District, Pinrang Regency, South Sulawesi. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the Regional Financial and Revenue Management Agency (BPKPD) of Pinrang Regency for the period 2021–2025. The data consisted of the number of taxpayers, digital payment users, annual PBB targets, and realization of PBB revenue. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis, digital payment adoption ratio analysis, taxpayer compliance analysis, and effectiveness ratio analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of digital payment systems for PBB has not yet been fully optimized. Although there has been an increase in the number of taxpayers using digital payment methods from year to year, the adoption level remains relatively low compared to the total number of registered taxpayers. The effectiveness of PBB administration during the study period was categorized as effective; however, it experienced fluctuations due to increasing revenue targets and limitations in digital infrastructure, digital literacy, and public understanding of technology-based tax services. The findings also reveal that digital payment systems contribute positively to administrative efficiency, transparency, and payment convenience, although their impact on taxpayer compliance remains limited. This condition demonstrates that the success of tax digitalization is not only determined by the availability of technology but also by the readiness of human resources, socialization strategies, and the quality of digital infrastructure. Therefore, local governments are expected to strengthen public education, optimize tax service systems, and improve digital infrastructure quality to support more effective and accountable regional tax administration.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of disaster information dissemination and risk communication in enhancing public understanding and preparedness, particularly through digital media such as educational videos produced by the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG). This study aims to analyze how information dissemination and risk communication processes are represented in animated video content on earthquake and tsunami mitigation. The study employs the theoretical frameworks of information dissemination and risk communication using a qualitative approach through narrative message analysis and in-depth interviews. The findings show that BMKG delivers information through an educational visual and narrative approach by emphasizing hazard visualization, simplification of scientific concepts, and the use of language that does not provoke panic. In addition, risk communication is carried out by building awareness without generating excessive fear and emphasizing appropriate mitigation actions for the public.
