Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of process standards in realizing effective learning at two junior high schools in Bali with different regional characteristics: an economic center area and an agricultural area. The method used is a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design to compare phenomena in Badung Regency and Jembrana Regency. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of teaching modules and school regulations. Data analysis was performed through reduction, display, and verification across sites. The results indicate that the implementation of process standards is carried out consistently through three main stages: (1) learning planning using a Backward Design flow to harmonize national regulations with local contexts; (2) learning implementation that is interactive and inspirational through the integration of cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships ; and (3) learning assessment that has transformed into a reflective culture by involving student voice to build learning independence. The conclusion confirms that socio-geographic differences do not hinder educational quality but instead provide space for humanistic flexibility and adaptability within the learning ecosystem

Abstract

The Kampus Mengajar 7 Program is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka policy, which aims to improve the quality of education, particularly in the aspects of literacy and numeracy. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Kampus Mengajar 7 Program in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills at SMP Negeri 43 Merangin. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation.The results show that the implementation of the program is carried out through various activities, such as assisting classroom learning, fostering literacy habits through reading activities, and strengthening numeracy through practice exercises and innovative learning media. This program has a positive impact on improving students' reading skills, text comprehension, and arithmetic abilities. In addition, the involvement of university students increases students’ learning motivation and helps teachers create more varied and interactive learning environments. The program also contributes to the improvement of students’ literacy skills, as indicated by increased reading fluency, better comprehension of texts, and higher reading interest. In terms of numeracy, students show improvement in understanding basic mathematical concepts and solving arithmetic problems. Therefore, the Kampus Mengajar 7 Program has proven to be effective in supporting the enhancement of students' literacy and numeracy skills at SMP Negeri 43 Merangin.

Abstract

The Field Experience Program (PPL) at MAN 2 Merangin aims to strengthen the teaching competencies of prospective teachers through direct involvement in learning activities. These activities include observation, teaching practice, the development of instructional materials, and reflection on the implementation process. Through the PPL, students gain real-world experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating instruction tailored to the characteristics of their students. The results of these activities demonstrate an improvement in students’ abilities in classroom management, the application of innovative teaching methods, and educational communication with both students and supervising teachers. Furthermore, PPL also plays a crucial role in fostering professional attitudes, responsibility, and social sensitivity as prospective educators. Thus, PPL at MAN 2 Merangin makes a significant contribution to the holistic strengthening of students’ pedagogical and professional competencies

Abstract

This study is grounded in the tradition of supporting the living needs of a prospective wife during the engagement period. It is commonly understood that in Pangbatok Village, when a couple becomes engaged, the male party also contributes to fulfilling the daily needs of his fiancée. This occurs even though, on average, the men do not yet have stable employment. This practice is largely based on arranged marriages initiated by the parents of both parties. Although the children may not be financially prepared, the arrangement is still carried out. Consequently, the responsibility of supporting the engaged woman’s living needs also becomes the responsibility of the male party’s parents.This study focuses on the following research questions: 1) What factors motivate prospective husbands to support the living needs of their fiancées during the engagement period in Pangbatok Village? 2) How is this tradition of supporting a prospective wife’s living needs during engagement viewed from the perspective of Islamic law? This research is categorized as qualitative empirical legal research using a case study approach. The data sources consist of both primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation.The results of this study indicate that: 1) In general, the community does not feel burdened in helping to fulfill the living needs of their prospective wives. Informants express feelings of affection, a sense of belonging, and responsibility toward their fiancées—values considered essential in a relationship and expected to continue into marriage. 2) From the perspective of Islamic law, the tradition of supporting a prospective wife’s living needs during the engagement period in Pangbatok Village, Proppo District, Pamekasan Regency, is a customary practice that has long been established and continues to this day. It does not contain elements that contradict the Qur’an or Hadith. Therefore, this custom is considered mubah (permissible) and may be practiced, as it does not violate any principles of Islamic law.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Pakong District Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in handling marriage dispensation cases after the amendment of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage, which sets the minimum marriage age at 19 years for both men and women. This research employed a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation methods. The findings indicate that the Pakong District KUA plays a role in providing education, marriage guidance, and administrative services related to marriage dispensation applications. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including low public legal awareness, cultural factors, and socio-economic conditions that contribute to the high number of marriage dispensation requests. Therefore, cooperation between the KUA, families, and the community is needed to reduce the rate of early marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze adolescent participation in religious activities at Baiturrahman Mosque, Bumi Karawang Permai Housing Complex, and to identify the influencing factors and impacts arising from such involvement. The research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving mosque administrators, adolescents, and members of the surrounding community. The findings indicate that adolescent participation in religious activities is reflected through their involvement in Islamic studies, social religious programs, Islamic holiday commemorations, and various mosque youth activities. The level of participation is influenced by several factors, including family support, peer environment, the role of mosque administrators, personal motivation, as well as the development of technology and social media. In addition, communicative approaches and inclusive activity environments play an important role in attracting adolescents to become actively involved in mosque activities. This participation has positive impacts on the development of religious character, the enhancement of social responsibility, and the strengthening of relationships among adolescents and the wider community. However, several obstacles remain, such as inconsistent attendance and the influence of digital activities that reduce the intensity of adolescent engagement. Therefore, sustainable guidance and development strategies are needed to encourage more active and productive adolescent participation in religious activities within the mosque environment.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of the case-based learning model on the learning outcomes of Pancasila education students about norms in my life in grade V of Sikumana 1 Public Elementary School. This research uses the Pre-Experimental Design method with the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population and sample in this study were all 21 students of grade VB of Sikumana 1 Public Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests and documentation with instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions totaling 20 multiple choice items that have been validated by experts. The results of the reliability test using Cronbach Alpha showed a value of 0.968 with high criteria. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed with a significance value of 0.133 and 0.244 (> 0.05), and homogeneous with a significance value of 0.067 (> 0.05). The results of the hypothesis test using the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after treatment. The average pretest score of 66.43 increased to 87.62 in the posttest. The effect size calculation using Cohen's d was 2.84, which is considered very large. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the case-based learning model has a significant and very effective effect on improving student learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to examine Generation Z's views on the use of doping in sports to achieve achievement. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey design. The sample consisted of 120 Generation Z individuals aged 17–25 years old selected through purposive sampling techniques from universities and high schools in Medan City. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been validated by experts and tested for reliability using the Cronbach's Alpha method. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and the chi-square test. The results showed that 82% of Generation Z respondents viewed doping as a form of cheating and a violation of sportsmanship values. However, 61% also acknowledged that high competitive pressure was the main motivating factor for athletes to use doping. Furthermore, 74% of respondents considered anti-doping education in schools and on social media to be inadequate. It was concluded that Generation Z has a tendency to have a negative view of doping use.

Abstract

The evolution of TikTok as a digital communication platform has prompted brands to adopt storytelling-based brand generated content (BGC) through a soft-selling approach. In the realm of short-form video production, continuity editing is crucial for ensuring viewer comfort. This study seeks to develop an editing workflow grounded in the Three Match Cut theory for TikTok content on the @kita_kelana account, serving as a digital communication medium for the Kita Kelana brand. The research employed a practice-based approach with a qualitative descriptive method, involving the direct participation of the author as a video editor during the post-production phase. The editing workflow comprised stages of acquisition, organization, review and selection, assembly, rough cut, fine cut, picture lock, finishing, rendering, and export. The application of the Three Match Cut theory encompasses matching the look, position, and movement. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Three Match Cut effectively maintains visual continuity, clarifies spatial orientation and movement, fosters a more natural storytelling rhythm, and enhances audience viewing comfort. Continuity editing also facilitates the integration of brand messages into storytelling through a soft-selling approach. Consequently, a three-match cut-based editing workflow can function as a pertinent visual communication strategy in the production of Brand Generated Content on short-video platforms such as TikTok.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Quizizz as an evaluation tool in mathematics learning within the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and to describe students' responses to its use. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The participants were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 067259 Medan Johor. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of Quizizz as an evaluation tool had been implemented well and supported student-centered learning. Students showed positive responses, as indicated by high enthusiasm, increased participation, and improved motivation during evaluation activities. However, there were obstacles related to unequal access to technology among students. Overall, Quizizz is effective as an interactive evaluation tool in mathematics learning in the Merdeka Curriculum.
