Abstract

The character of discipline is one of the most important characters for every student to have. Therefore, the teacher must carry out his role in shaping the character of student discipline. This study aims to analyze the teacher's role in the formation of disciplinary character. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of field research. The subjects of this study were class teachers who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is to explain what roles are played by the teacher in shaping the disciplinary character of students in the new normal era. In addition, the results of the research also show that there are several inhibiting factors in the formation of disciplinary character.

Abstract

Learning Interest of Class III Students in Thematic Learning at Madrasah Ibtidayah Al-Munawwarah Jambi City. This research focuses on the thematic learning process using multiple intelligences learning strategies. This study uses a classroom action research approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis.In planning the teacher makes lesson plans, syllabus and prota and promissory notes according to existing provisions. The implementation of thematic learning is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and an evaluation of learning using the 2013 curriculum assessment with three aspects or domains assessed, namely knowledge, attitudes and skills. At the beginning of the observation, the researchers found that students' interest in learning was still low. Because teachers still use conventional methods (lecture methods) and have not used appropriate learning strategies. This makes students feel bored with the learning process in class. After implementing the learning process in cycle I and cycle II using multiple intelligences learning strategies, the learning interest of class III students has increased significantly. In the pre-cycle, the fifth grade students' interest in learning was 2.7% out of 15 students in the less interested category. With the number of students 1 is not interested, 6 students are not interested, 4 students are quite interested, and 4 students are in the interest category. And after the first cycle of action, the student's interest in learning scores rose to 3.1% from 15 students in the moderately interested category. With the number of students 8 students are quite interested, 7 students are interested. And it increased very significantly when the second cycle was carried out with a score of 4.2% of 15 students in the category approaching very interest. With 2 students with sufficient interest, 13 students in the interest category. The increase in students' interest in learning can also be seen from the cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of multiple intelligences learning strategies can increase students' interest in learning thematic learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Munawwarah Jambi City

Abstract

Philosophical education is a combination of opinions originating from philosophy which is the core of the field of education. The philosophical foundation of education is a form of arrangement composed in an idea or thought about the world of education explained from a general philosophical idea or thought (Metaphysics, Epistemology, Axiology) suggested by a particular philosophical school. the essence of man is not his body, but his soul/spirit, man is a thinking being, capable of choosing or being free, living by a clear and purposeful moral code. The task and purpose of human life is to live according to their talents and moral values ​​and norms handed down by the Absolute. The Relationship between Philosophy of Idealism and the Independent Curriculum. The relationship between philosophical idealism and independent learning is a unity that cannot be separated. The concept of independent learning is part of the efforts that fulfill the primary and secondary education system. With this concept, a special strategy was chosen to liberate various things in the implementation of education. Educators' understanding of philosophy of idealism as a knowledge base which is very important to understand, as a basis for thinking and as a basis for implementing the concept of independent learning which is neatly arranged with the aim of reforming the education system in Indonesia. Education according to the philosophy of idealism emphasizes the formation of students to be able to carry out social responsibility and human beings are thinking beings, able to choose or be free, living by a clear and purposeful moral code.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor guru yang menimbulkan problematika dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah kurangnya penguasaan metode dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam setiap kelas yang berbeda Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penerapan simulasi PhET pada mata pelajaran matematika di SDN Trayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Trayu berjumlah 17 siswa. Metode pengambilan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, penggunaan media PhET Simulation pada materi pecahan dengan pendekatan saintifik mempunyai beberapa manfaat bagi siswa antara lain: 1) siswa lebih aktif mengikuti pembelajaran, 2) pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa sehingga siswa dapat menemukan konsep secara mandiri, 3) membantu siswa mempermudah memahami konsep pecahan, 4) melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, 5) siswa merasa senang karena dapat belajar sambil bermain, 6) meningkatkan literasi digital siswa.

Abstract

“Improving Fairytale Reading Skills Through the Sentence Scramblel Method on the Theme of Togetherness for Class II SD Muhammadiyah Bayan TA. 2021/2022". Elementary School Teacher Education, FKIP, Purworejo Muhammadiyah University, 2022. This study aims to: 1) describe the application of fairy tale reading skills through the sentence scramble method for second grade students at Muhammadiyah Bayan Elementary School, 2) find out the improvement of fairy tale reading skills with the scramble method. sentence on the theme of togetherness of class II students at SD Muhammadiyah Bayan. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle having two meetings. The research subjects are second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bayan TA. 2021/2022 with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, tests, field notes and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in fairy tale reading skills through the sentence scrambel method for students who achieved the average in the pre-cycle the percentage of learning outcomes was only 34.61% in the first cycle, 50.00% in the second cycle, reaching 84.61%. The results of the observation of student activities also experienced an increase. In the first cycle, 63.75% increased to 81.15% the increase in fairy tale reading skills based on the average increase in aspects of accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, fluency and clarity of voice. It can be concluded that the sentence scramble method can improve the reading skills of the second grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Bayan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media in teaching and learning activities. This study aims to develop an interesting learning media by utilizing technological tools. This research uses research and development research and development (R & D) methods. The resulting media is an interactive multimedia-based e-book. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Bayah Barat with the research subject, namely the fourth grade students, totaling 28 people. The researcher uses a research method that refers to the Borg and Gall development model that has been modified by Sugiyono. The procedure used by the researcher is, only 6 stages. To test the feasibility of the media developed by the researchers, the researchers first validated it with a team of media experts, material experts, and linguists. Based on the results of data analysis from the 6 validators, the interactive multimedia-based e-book media developed by the researcher is included in the "Very Eligible" category with an average percentage value of 84.37% while the results of the analysis of student response data get an average value with a percentage of 82.04% and categorized "Very Good. So it can be concluded that this interactive multimedia-based e-book learning media is very feasible and can be used.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 50 Prabumulih masih rendah, hal ini disebabkan karena rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan ini ialah siswa belum bisa membaca dengan lancar serta menghubungkan kata per kata menjadi sebuah kalimat. Hasil presentase kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas IA dalam indikator ketepatan menyuarakan tulisan sebesar 67,3% dengan jumlah skor 505 dari skor maksimal 750, indikator kewajaran lafal sebesar 53,6% dengan jumlah skor 268 dari skor maksimal 500, indikator kewajaran intonasi sebesar 57,6% dengan jumlah skor 288 dari skor maksimal 500, indikator kelancaran membaca sebesar 46,4% dengan jumlah skor 232 dari skor maksimal 500 dan indikator kejelasan suara sebesar 67,2% dengan jumlah skor 168 dari skor maksimal 250. Dari keseluruhan hasil kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas IA SD Negeri 50 Prabumulih dengan kategori baik sebesar 20% atau sebanyak 5 siswa, kategori cukup sebesar 30% atau sebanyak 6 siswa, dan kategori kurang sebesar 56% atau sebanyak 14 siswa. Berdasarkan indikator penilaian kemampuan membaca permulaan paling tinggi terlihat pada indikator ketepatan menyuarakan tulisan dan nilai paling rendah terlihat pada indikator kelancaran membaca. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the Talking Stick learning model in fourth grade elementary school students, how the description of student learning outcomes in science subjects, and how the influence of the Talking Stick learning model on student learning outcomes in science subjects in grade IV SDN 339 Lagosi, Pammana District, Wajo Regency. . The population in this study were fourth grade students at SDN 339 Lagosi, Pammana District, Wajo Regency. This study uses a Quasi Experimental Design. Data collection techniques used through observation, tests and documentation. The data that has been collected by the researcher is then analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics. Based on the research data, after being analyzed, it showed that the criteria of students before being given treatment indicated the criteria needed for guidance, while after being treated, they showed sufficient criteria. As for the inferential statistical analysis, it shows that there is an effect of the Talking stick learning model on student learning outcomes in the fourth grade science subjects at SDN 339 Lagosi, Pammana District, Wajo Regency, with H0 rejected and Hα accepted. So it can be concluded that the description of the Talking Stick learning model in science subjects for class IV SDN 339 Lagosi, Pammana District, Wajo Regency can be used and is in the good category, and there is an influence on student learning outcomes after being given treatment in the form of Talking Stick learning model on student learning outcomes. in the fourth grade science subject at SDN 339 Lagosi, Pammana District, Wajo Regency.

Abstract

The background of this research is related to the students' need for learning media. Learning media is needed in learning as an intermediary for delivering information. The use of learning media that is still minimal is a topic that will be raised. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the feasibility of the Liveworksheets learning media, (2) to determine student responses to the Liveworksheets learning media, (3) to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes towards Liveworksheets learning. media. The target of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Sukasari 6. This study uses research and development methods with the Borg and Gall in development model (Sugiyono 2016:298), namely: potential problems, information collection, product design, product validation, product revision, trial product, end result. Based on the results of data analysis, there is an average instrument validation of 85.45%, media validation 79%, material validation 84%, language validation 76%. The results of the small-scale students' pretest and posttest were 10 people, 84.50 and 98.60. The results of the small-scale student response test 10 people 90.05%. Response data 96.3%. The average pretest using 21 students was 62.10. The average posttest was 90.05%. So to find out the increase in learning outcomes is calculated by the N-Gain test with a score of 0.7571 in the high category.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is one of the learning models that can provide active learning conditions to students by directing students to jointly solve a problem. This researcher aims to find out if there are differences in critical thinking skills between students who use a scientific approach in elementary schools and to find out whether critical thinking skills between students who use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model are higher than students who use a scientific approach in schools. Base. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class 4A and 25 students of class 4B at SD Negeri Cimuncang Cilik. The research was conducted using quantitative, quasi-experimental methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the descriptive statistical test the control class pretest with an average of 16.88 posttest control class with an average of 8.292 experimental class pretest with an average of 24.68 and posttest experimental class with an average of 30.24. This shows that the critical thinking skills of students who are treated with Problem Based Learning (PBL) are higher than students who are treated with a scientific approach. The results of the independent sample test test were 0.00 <0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted so that it could be concluded that there were differences in critical thinking skills between students who received the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and students who received the scientific approach
