Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of visual branding on the Instagram account of Tribun EO Bogor (@tribuneobogor) through the redesign of momentum and holiday content, and to describe the application of visual elements in building a visual identity for digital media. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, literature study, and active participation. The object of the study focuses on the Instagram account of Tribun EO Bogor (@tribuneobogor) by comparing the visual appearance before and after the redesign. The analysis is based on the concepts of visual branding and visual design principles, including unity, balance, emphasis, and rhythm. The results show that the visual appearance of the account before the redesign still exhibited inconsistencies in the use of color, typography, layout, logo size, and social media information templates, so the account's visual identity had not been optimally formed. The redesign produced a more structured and consistent appearance through the application of a dominant blue color palette aligned with the visual identity of Tribunnews Bogor, a neater layout, and the use of uniform information templates for each post. The application of visual design principles supports compositional order and clarifies the delivery of information in social media content. The implementation of visual branding through consistent management of design elements strengthens the visual identity of the Tribun EO Bogor Instagram account as a local digital media, resulting in a more professional, recognizable, and representative appearance.

Abstract

The reliability of AI-based digital learning services depends heavily on the appropriate selection of machine learning model deployment infrastructure. Educational institutions commonly face computational resource constraints, choosing between a native OS and Docker Container, a critical factor affecting the responsiveness and availability of digital services that underpin academic activities. This study empirically compares the computational efficiency (CPU and RAM) and accuracy of the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm in these two execution environments, using the CIC-IDS 2017 dataset from the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity, comprising approximately 2.8 million records across 15 classes as a representative large-scale computational workload. A quantitative experimental method with real-time resource monitoring was applied to identical hardware. Results show that the Native OS environment achieved an average end-to-end (E2E) execution time of 209.72 seconds, approximately 9.4 times faster than Docker Container, which required an average of 1,965.83 seconds due to a 2-core CPU restriction. Native OS averaged 90.60% CPU and 403.01 MB RAM, while Docker averaged 24.41% CPU and 683.76 MB RAM with a +280.75 MB memory overhead. Critically, all model quality metrics Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score were identical at 99.89% in both environments, confirming that the execution environment does not affect AI model quality. This study concludes that to support the reliability of AI-based digital learning services requiring real-time responses, using a native OS or providing unrestricted resource allocation in a Docker Container is the recommended deployment architecture for educational institutions

Abstract

This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of implementing andragogy-based 1-on-1 digital coaching in developing teacher professional competence in elementary schools. The research is motivated by the paradigm shift in educational supervision from an administrative and evaluative approach to a more humanistic, dialogical, and empowering approach. In the context of digital transformation in education, 1-on-1 digital coaching is seen as a supervisory innovation that enables principals to carry out flexible, personalized, and sustainable teacher professional development through the use of digital technology. This study focuses on identifying opportunities, challenges, and perceptions of principals and teachers regarding the implementation of andragogy-based 1-on-1 digital coaching in supporting teacher professional competence development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The research location is SDN Lemburmuncang, Soreang District, Bandung Regency. The research subjects consisted of one principal and five teachers selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, limited observations, and documentation studies. Data validity was achieved through source triangulation, technical triangulation, member checking, and diligent observation. Data analysis used an interactive model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of 1-on-1 digital coaching is supported by three main factors: support for the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) policy and the Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) platform, the availability of adequate technological infrastructure, and teachers' intrinsic motivation as adult learners to reflect and develop themselves. Challenges faced include technical constraints in the form of unstable internet connections, gaps in digital literacy competency among teachers, and cultural barriers in the form of the old paradigm that views supervision as an inspection and assessment activity. Furthermore, the study found that 1-on-1 digital coaching has a positive impact on improving teachers' professional and pedagogical competencies through critical reflection, transformative learning, and independent development of learning solutions. From the principal's perspective, this model also improves supervision efficiency through a digital data-based documentation and monitoring system.
