Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between active questioning and students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research method is correlation/relationship research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Falah Selakau. The sampling technique in this research is Purposive Sampling. The sample in this research was class IV students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Falah Selakau, totaling 30 students. Data was obtained through mathematics learning outcomes test instruments and student questioning activity questionnaires. The materials used in the mathematics learning outcomes test are rectangles and squares. The data analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the research show that: 1) The activeness of asking questions by fourth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Falah Selakau is relatively high, based on the calculation of student scores with an overall average of 67. 2) Students' mathematics learning outcomes in rectangles and squares are relatively high with an average overall 71.5. 3) There is a relationship between students' activeness in asking questions and students' mathematics learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.7 in the strong or high category and a coefficient of determination of 49%. So from the results of the research that has been carried out it can be concluded that there is a relationship between active questioning and students' mathematics learning outcomes in rectangular and square material.

One of the problems that occurs in science learning is that in the process of delivering material from teachers to students, they still use conventional learning models, resulting in less than optimal understanding of concepts and students. Efforts that can be made to improve students' understanding of concepts are by implementing a problem-based learning model assisted by video media to help students become smarter in solving problems, making it easier to master the material. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the problem-based learning model assisted by video media in increasing students' conceptual understanding. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The number of participants was 60 class V students in one of the elementary schools in Patrol District. The research instruments used were concept understanding tests and observation sheets consisting of teacher performance sheets and student activities. The research results show: 1) The implementation of learning using a problem-based learning model obtains very good criteria between teacher performance and student activity. 2) The average N-Gain results show that there is a difference in the increase in students’ mastery of concepts between the experimental class and the control class, the experimental class has a highter average N-Gain than the control classs.

The background of this research is based on the observations results with teachers and students have a very important role, because students are the main target objects in learning, especially in reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This is quite important because reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an has a great influence on the personality of each individual. Students are children who are entering puberty, they are still very sensitive emotionally so it is not surprising that various problems arise. The problem that students often face is that some find it difficult to memorize and give up easily. The students still have minimal knowledge about memorizing the Qur'an, memorizing it, and how to continuously carry out and manage memorization. program and there is no tahfidz teacher to help students memorize it. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, which is the most basic form of research, aimed at describing or illustrating phenomena that exist or occur in the field. In this research the author describes the Pattern of Students' Emotional Intelligence and School Culture in Memorizing the Al-Qur'an at MTsS Fastabiqul Khairat Kenagarian Gunung Malintang. Based on the research results it can be, concluded that: Patterns of emotional intelligence and school culture in memorizing the Al-Qur'an or tahfizhul Qur'an at MTsS Fastabiqul Khairat Kenagarian Gunung Malintang. The coaching patterns carried out are tahsin coaching, recitation coaching, group coaching, and tahfiz coaching. The science of tajwid, makhorijul letters, siifatul letters, and songs or tones in reading the Al-Qur'an. Then the supporting factors in developing Qur'an learning are as follows: Strong motivation from within the students, the last MTsS Fastabiqul Khairat environmental factor is the educator and supervisor factor. And the inhibiting factors are the condition of students including laziness, sleepiness, weakening of enthusiasm and lack of human resources and limited time.

This study aims to find out empirical data related to the influence of the use of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students (meta-analysis study. Meta-analysis research is also known as meta-research or meta-research. The data sources in this study come from libraries, books, and journals. The results of the analysis revealed that overall the average effect size of the analyzed research journals. Experiments on the influence of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students can obtain a score of 2.316 and are included in a large category. Overall, the show and tell method was able to improve students' speaking skills in the experimental group from the cotrol group, with an effect size of 2.316 which was included in the large category. This shows that the show and tell method has a more effective influence and should be applied in learning speaking skills. The effect on the application of the show and tell method on the speaking skills of elementary school students based on grade level is in a large category with a score of 2.46. This shows that the show and tell method has a more effective influence and should be applied in learning speaking skills. The show and tell method can be used as an alternative learning to improve students' speaking skills.

This research is an evaluative research which aims to evaluate the implementation of differentiated learning in the Independent Learning Curriculum at UPT SPF SD Negeri Garuda Makassar. The research method used is the mixed methods Stake model (Antecedents, Process, Outcomes). Data collection in this research was carried out through questionnaires and interviews addressed to school principals, teachers and students in class IV A, IV B, V A, V B and Class VI. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The success criteria for this research are based on evaluating aspects in the Stake evaluation component, namely Antecedents, Process, Outcomes. The research results show that 1) The implementation of Differentiated Learning in the Independent Learning Curriculum based on the Context (Antecedents) component in classes 4 A, 4 B, 5 A, 5 B and Class 6 has gone very well; 2) The implementation of Differentiated Learning in the Independent Learning Curriculum based on the Process (Transactions) component in classes 4 A, 4 B, 5 A, 5 B and Class 6 has gone very well; 3) Differentiated Learning in the Independent Learning Curriculum based on the Output component (Outcomes) in classes 4 A, 4 B, 5 A, 5 B and Class 6 has been going well

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using tangram media on the achievement of mathematics learning objectives of grade II students of Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Bharu Malaysia, especially on geometry material. This study adopted a quantitative design with a pre-experimental approach of one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 10 students as samples. The instrument used was multiple choice questions and its validity and reliability were tested using SPSS. Hypothesis testing was carried out by Analysis using paired sample t-test. The findings of the study revealed a p value <0.001, which indicated a significant difference between students' pretest and posttest scores. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of tangram media significantly improves students' mathematics learning outcomes, especially on geometry material. This study recommends the use of tangram media as an interesting and effective learning medium.

Differentiated learning is a trend that is promoted at various school levels, one of which is in elementary school, but its implementation is often constrained by misconceptions or failure of a teacher in implementing a method or approach. This study examines the misconceptions faced by teachers in implementing differentiated learning, the factors that cause them, and their impact on learning effectiveness. This research uses qualitative research, data collection techniques in this research include literature study and observation. Analysis of data obtained in the field and literature review shows misconceptions in the form of misunderstanding of basic concepts, lack of adequate training, and lack of infrastructure support. In this study, the researcher suggests concrete steps to overcome misconceptions and improve the implementation of effective differentiated learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus (autisme dan keterlambatan bicara) di TKIT Ummul Mu’minin Makassar. Fokus penelitian adalah memahami strategi yang digunakan guru dalam menciptakan kesiapan belajar, pemberian tugas dan penguatan, pengamatan perilaku anak, serta pemberian kesempatan untuk latihan mandiri guna memaksimalkan hasil belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan berbagai strategi yang berfokus pada penciptaan lingkunganbelajar yang inklusif, personalisasi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu anak, serta pemberian penguatan positif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus dilakukan melalui interaksi yang konsisten, latihan bertahap, serta metode yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuanmasing-masing anak, sehingga mampu mendukung pencapaian hasil belajarsecara optimal. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inklusif di pendidikan anak usia dini.

Riset ini didorong oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca anak yang disebabkan oleh beberapa variabel, antara lain kurangnya motivasi belajar dan tantangan dalam pengenalan huruf. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menilai dampak media pembelajaran pohon membaca terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas satu SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo. Riset ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol posttest-only. Sampelnya ada dua kelas, yaitu kelas 1D yang terdiri dari 28 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen, dan kelas 1C yang juga berisi 28 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dievaluasi secara statistik menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya simpangan yang cukup besar antara kelas yang menggunakan media pohon baca dan kelas yang tidak menggunakan media pohon baca. Uji statistik menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa media membaca pohon berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca pertama siswa.

The Indonesian language topic holds significant importance in the realm of education. Indonesian serves as the language of instruction in education and as a national language that must be taught from the start, including at elementary school level. Reading is an activity performed by individuals to grasp the message that the writer intends to communicate through language and text. This task enables individuals to access information presented in writing, based on their understanding or experience. Reading fundamentally involves striving to understand the text to interpret the meaning it conveys. The ability to read is a key component of the skills in Indonesian language and literature that must be mastered across all educational levels, including elementary school. This research seeks to examine and outline the intensive reading skills of students in grade IV at SDN Ceweng Diwek, categorized by high, medium, and low levels of learning interest. This research commenced due to the growing government focus on reading skills in Indonesia, which are still viewed as inadequate. Furthermore, several students continue to struggle with recognizing the main idea in the text and possess a restricted comprehension while reading. This research employs a qualitative approach. To evaluate the effect of speed reading on comprehension, the procedures involve organizing reading materials, creating test sheets with questions regarding the content, and instructing students to respond based on specified evaluation standards. The assessments given are presented as descriptive or essay-type questions.
