Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penggunaan punishment (hukuman) dan reinforcement (penguatan) dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SD Negeri Winongo. Kedisiplinan siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar yang tertib dan efektif. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan dapat diketahui bagaimana strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dan pihak sekolah dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung di kelas, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi terkait kegiatan yang mendukung kedisiplinan. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan dari hasil temuan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa punishment yang diberikan guru bersifat mendidik, seperti teguran, tugas tambahan, atau sanksi ringan, yang diterapkan secara adil dan konsisten. Sementara itu, reinforcement diberikan dalam bentuk pujian, hadiah, maupun penghargaan simbolik saat siswa menunjukkan perilaku disiplin. Berdasarkan triangulasi data dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kombinasi antara punishment dan reinforcement yang diterapkan secara tepat dan berimbang mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa secara signifikan. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning strategies and learning interest on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Mojoanyar. The method used is an experiment with a post-test control group design. The instruments used are learning outcome tests and learning interest questionnaires. Data were analyzed using ANOVA tests to test for significant differences between groups taught with PBL and Expository Strategy and the effect of learning interest on learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that PBL is more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to Expository Strategy, with an F value = 87.568 and a significance of 0.000. In addition, learning interest also has a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with an F value = 9.151 and a significance of 0.003, indicating that students with high learning interest have better learning outcomes. The results of the interaction test show a significant effect between learning strategies and learning interest on learning outcomes, with an F value = 5.463 and a significance of 0.021. The conclusion of this study is that PBL is more effective in improving learning outcomes than Expository Strategies, and learning interest plays a significant role in achieving learning outcomes. The implications of this study are the need to implement PBL in learning and pay attention to student learning interests to design more effective learning. Teachers are expected to adapt learning strategies to student interests to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Education is the process of acquiring knowledge, understanding, and behavior that is in accordance with the needs known as education. High-quality human resources are the main goal of education. This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties of students in the subject of Pancasila Education class II at SD Negeri 1 Keraton, these learning difficulties are characterized by the inability of students not to master the subject matter within the specified time, not achieving learning outcomes that are in accordance with their abilities, showing a low level of achievement compared to other students and showing bad personalities such as being impolite, naughty, and not adapting to the scope of the lesson, identifying factors causing learning difficulties originating from internal factors of students which include disorders or psycho-physical deficiencies, such as cognitive, affective, psychomotor and external factors of students include every situation and environmental conditions that do not support student learning activities including family, community, and school. In dealing with this, teachers make various efforts, both as educators who adjust learning methods, as mentors who provide individual attention and motivation, and as assessors to evaluate the process and learning outcomes of students fairly and comprehensively. Pancasila education is very important for every citizen and serves as a guideline for living life as a good citizen and in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Learning difficulties are when students do not achieve the expected learning outcomes. This study also uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The object of the study was conducted at SDN 1 Keraton, Class II. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's efforts in overcoming students' learning difficulties in the Pancasila education subject can be seen from the results of the questionnaire about the factors that influence learning difficulties obtained 15 students who experienced learning difficulties is 68.18% and 7 students who did not experience learning difficulties is 31.82%.

Abstract

The low literacy skills of students remain a major challenge in the field of education, including Merauke Regency, South Papua. One contributing factor is the use of learning materials that are insufficiently contextual and irrelevant to students’ lives. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using local wisdom-based teaching materials in improving students literacy skills at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Merauke. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, using a one-group pretest-posttest model. The subjects of this study were 28 fourth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). The average literacy score increased from 61,18 in the pretest to 81,89 in the posttest, representing an improvement of 20,71%. These results indicate that the use of local wisdom-based teaching materials can enhance students’ literacy skills. The findings of this study are recommended for broader implementation by teachers in designing effective, meaningful, sustainable learning rooted in the nation’s culture to improve the quality of education, as well as to strengthen students’ identity and character from an early age. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills in physics, specifically on the topic of static fluids, at Class XI of SMA Negeri 6 Padang. The low level of students’ critical thinking skills in physics learning served as the main issue in this research. A quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed, involving two parallel classes: an experimental class taught using the PBL model and a control class taught using conventional learning. The research instrument was a validated and reliable essay test designed to assess critical thinking skills. Data were analyzed using an Independent Samples t-test after fulfilling normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that the average critical thinking skill score in the experimental class was 81.70, while the control class scored 74.90. Hypothesis testing yielded a t-count of 4.82, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.99656 (α = 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. It can be concluded that the PBL model has a significant positive effect on students’ critical thinking skills. The implementation of PBL encourages students to actively engage in solving contextual problems, discussing in groups, and drawing conclusions critically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi Tata Surya yang bersifat abstrak dan kompleks di tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital interaktif berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) 3D guna meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi ahli, angket guru dan siswa, serta tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Validasi dilakukan oleh dua ahli media dan tiga ahli materi, kemudian diuji cobakan pada siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri 1 Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media AR 3D yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, praktis berdasarkan respon pengguna, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi AR dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep secara visual, dan mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between mathematical intelligence and empathy in elementary school students. Mathematical intelligence, which is measured through students' ability to solve mathematical problems, has a significant impact on their social and emotional development, including empathy. Using a qualitative approach, this research involved students from several elementary schools in Indonesia, using mathematics test instruments and questionnaires to measure levels of empathy. The research results show that there is a positive relationship between mathematical intelligence and empathy, where students with higher mathematical abilities tend to have better levels of empathy. This research also discusses the implications of these findings for the education curriculum in elementary schools, as well as the importance of developing these two aspects simultaneously to create a more sensitive and intelligent generation.

Abstract

The investigation’s backdrop is the poor numeracy achievement of the class V students at SD Negeri Lamper Tengah 01 Semarang. The study aims to examine the extent of using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can enhance numeracy skills of class V students. To achieve this objective, the study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest model. The exploration population was made up of the class V students at SD Negeri Lamper Tengah 01 Semarang, with a saturated sampling of 28 scholar named using a impregnated slice fashion. The data were normally distributed with a significance value > 0.05, according to the data analysis, which showed that the average pretest score was 43.21 and posttest score was 82.32. The paired sample t-test further revealed a calculated the t-value was 13,16 and the t-table value was 2,052. Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted because the t-value was greater than the t-table. Thefore, it can be said that class V scholars at SD Negeri Lamper Tengah 01 Semarang improved their numeracy skills significantly as a result of using the Problem-Based Learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan praktikum fisika dasar di perguruan tinggi seringkali menghadapi kendala berupa rendahnya kesiapan konseptual mahasiswa dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul praktikum fisika dasar berbasis Advance Organizer berbantuan Flipbook yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk mendukung pemahaman konsep sebelum pelaksanaan eksperimen. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang difokuskan hingga tahap Develop. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi kebutuhan, validasi ahli (materi, media, soal), uji kepraktisan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa, serta uji efektivitas melalui analisis nilai pretest dan posttest menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli, praktis digunakan oleh pengguna, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa, dengan nilai signifikansi uji efektivitas < 0,001. Produk ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat pembelajaran praktikum berbasis multimedia dan teori Advance Organizer. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa e-modul berbasis digital dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran mandiri yang efisien dan kontekstual dalam pendidikan tinggi.
