Abstract

This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. CAR focuses on the class and the process of teaching and learning activities that occur in the classroom conducted by teachers and students. The subjects of this study are students of the fourth grade at Christian Elementary School in Patti, Moa District, Southwest Maluku, with a total of 17 students, consisting of 11 male students and 6 female students. This research uses 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative in the form of field observations and documentation, and quantitative in the increase of student learning outcomes in accordance with the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) for the subject of Pancasila Education, which is 70. Based on the results obtained, students are said to be successful as they can meet the KKM for the subject with the following details; 3 students achieved a score of 80 (29.63%), 1 student achieved a score of 90 (33.33%), 13 students obtained a score of 100 (37.04%). The average score in cycle II is 95.88%.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki peserta didik untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tidak hanya berfokus pada penerimaan informasi, tetapi juga pada kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menarik kesimpulan logis dalam setiap pembelajaran. Namun, fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 1 Martapura masih dominan berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang terlatih mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara optimal, tercermin dari rendahnya partisipasi dalam diskusi maupun penyelesaian soal terbuka. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini berfokus pada pengaruh penggunaan pertanyaan pemantik sebagai strategi pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment posttest-only control group, melibatkan dua kelas sebagai sampel, yakni kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan pertanyaan pemantik dan kelas kontrol tanpa perlakuan. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan rata-rata nilai posttest antara kelas eksperimen (85,00) dan kontrol (74,17), dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pertanyaan pemantik efektif dalam mendorong siswa berpikir lebih logis, analitis, dan reflektif. Sebagaimana ditegaskan oleh Zubaidah (2016), pertanyaan pemantik berfungsi bukan hanya membangkitkan rasa ingin tahu, melainkan juga merangsang keterlibatan siswa untuk mengeksplorasi konsep secara mendalam, mempertanyakan asumsi, serta mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan konteks yang lebih luas. Dengan demikian, penggunaan pertanyaan pemantik dapat dipandang sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of an Inquiry-Based Learning model assisted by a Flipped Classroom based on student learning independence at UPT SPF SD Negeri 101807 Candirejo. The main problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes caused by a lack of independent learning activities and teacher-centered learning. Through a combination of Inquiry-Based Learning and Flipped Classroom, it is hoped that students can be more active, independent, and have a better conceptual understanding. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a randomized pretest-post test control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that received treatment with the Inquiry-Based Learning model assisted by the Flipped Classroom and the control class that used conventional learning. Data were collected through mathematics achievement tests and learning independence questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in the mathematics achievement of students taught with Inquiry-Based Learning assisted by the flipped classroom compared to conventional learning with a sig value < 0.05, namely 0.000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan strategi pendidikan anti perundungan menggunakan metode Golden Circle untuk siswa SDN 3 Sogong. Urgensi penelitian ini digarisbawahi oleh prevalensi bullying dan perlunya model pendidikan preventif berbasis karakter. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan cermat melalui wawancara mendalam, pengamatan langsung, dan analisis dokumentasi. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa metode Golden Circle diterapkan secara strategis dengan terlebih dahulu menetapkan "Mengapa", yang berfokus pada membangun pemahaman emosional yang mendalam di antara siswa tentang dampak berbahaya dari bullying untuk menumbuhkan empati. Ini diikuti oleh "Bagaimana", yang melibatkan metode praktis seperti bermain peran, dialog reflektif, dan proyek kolaboratif untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan untuk mencegah dan menanggapi perundungan. "Apa" diwujudkan melalui tindakan nyata, termasuk membuat deklarasi anti-bullying di seluruh kelas dan menunjuk duta siswa, menerjemahkan pemahaman menjadi komitmen nyata. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan empati, pemikiran kritis, dan keberanian siswa untuk melaporkan insiden. Namun, implementasinya menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk faktor internal seperti kompetensi guru yang bervariasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya, serta faktor eksternal seperti keterlibatan orang tua yang tidak konsisten dan pengaruh sosial negatif dari luar lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Golden Circle menawarkan kerangka kerja yang holistik dan efektif untuk pendidikan anti-bullying dengan menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik. Meskipun demikian, keberhasilan jangka panjangnya bergantung pada penerapan yang konsisten, pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan, dan kolaborasi yang diperkuat antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat luas untuk menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang benar-benar aman dan mendukung.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms and contexts of code-switching in communication on TikTok. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, listening, note-taking, and documentation techniques applied to 11 accounts actively using language variations. A total of 14 code-switching data were found, consisting of 3 internal code-switching data and 11 external code-switching data. This phenomenon is used to tailor language to the audience, emphasize the message, create humor, and simultaneously showcase bilingual and multicultural identity. This finding confirms that code-switching on TikTok is not just a linguistic phenomenon, but also a digital communication strategy. This research is expected to enrich sociolinguistic studies and provide new insights into language dynamics on social media.

Abstract

Revitalizing Islamic education is a necessity in the contemporary era, facing the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and socio-cultural change. This study examines the revitalization of Islamic education by analyzing in depth the thoughts of two prominent Indonesian Muslim intellectuals, Buya Hamka and M. Quraish Shihab, and their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting and analyzing data from the primary works of both figures, scientific journals, articles, and other relevant documents. The results show that the thoughts of Buya Hamka and M. Quraish Shihab provide a strong conceptual foundation for the revitalization of Islamic education. Buya Hamka emphasizes the importance of education as a maximum effort to grow and strengthen the individual, with a focus on strengthening the purpose of human creation as servants, the spirit of talabul 'ilmi, instilling the faith of monotheism from an early age, and instilling noble morals. Meanwhile, M. Quraish Shihab highlights multicultural education that recognizes diversity as the sunnatullah, egalitarianism, brotherhood, mutual assistance, and mutual understanding. Their thinking is relevant in shaping contextual, adaptive, and transformative curricula and learning strategies to face the challenges of the digital era and the industrial revolution 4.0. This revitalization includes curriculum modernization, the use of digital technology, strengthening educator competencies, and integrating Islamic values ​​with the demands of modernity, without losing the essence of religious teachings. The implementation of the thinking of these two figures is expected to reconstruct Islamic education so that it continues to exist and makes a real contribution to civilization, producing a generation that excels intellectually and morally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas keterampilan bahasa Indonesia di kalangan siswa kelas dua di SDN Pakis V Surabaya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Scramble Kalimat berdasarkan struktur SPOK (Subjek, Predikat, Objek, Keterangan). Masalah yang diamati di kelas adalah sekitar 60% siswa cenderung membuat kalimat sederhana dan berulang tanpa variasi kata atau makna. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, model pembelajaran Scramble Kalimat berbasis SPOK diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang memungkinkan siswa berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam membentuk kalimat yang bermakna dan benar secara tata bahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, yang melibatkan 29 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa menyusun kalimat, yang tercermin dari peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 61,38 pada pre-test menjadi 79,31 pada post-test. Meskipun sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan peningkatan, sebagian kecil siswa tidak menunjukkan kemajuan yang signifikan, yang mengindikasikan adanya hambatan dalam pembelajaran yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menyarankan penerapan strategi pengajaran yang lebih personal bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dan merekomendasikan penelitian lanjutan yang melibatkan penggunaan alat pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Cerita anak daerah Jambi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tema dalam cerita anak daerah Jambi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tema dalam cerita anak daerah Jambi. Motede penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dari penelitian ini adalah narasi cerita anak. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku cerita anak Elektronik Dwibahasa yang berjudul Kulup Pergi Bakarang karya Dedi Haryanto yang terdiri dari 23 halaman, Teman Baru di Sedekah Payo karya Syarifah Lestari yang terdiri dari 23 halaman, Badan Sayo Mambu Telegu karya Sujana yang terdiri dari 23 halaman, Umang-umang Jadi Pemenang karya Titas Suwanda yang terdiri dari 24 halaman, Payo Naik, Sado! Karya Iriani R. Tandy yang terdiri dari 19 halaman, Ngapo ado Banyak Angso karya Ika Y Suryadi yang terdiri dari 22 halaman , Ke Mano Ikan-ikan Pegi? karya Nafri Dwi Boy yang terdiri dari 23 halaman, dan Si Penulung Kuau karya Sean Popo Hardi yang terdiri dari 24 halaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah peneliti lakukan terhadap tema cerita anak daerah Jambi. Cerita anak daerah Jambi memuat 11 tema mayor dan 6 tema minor.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to address the crucial issue of organic waste. Organic waste management can be carried out by producing compost and utilizing it as a planting medium for vegetables. This research is based on the constructivist approach in education, which emphasizes that students actively construct their own knowledge through interaction with their environment and personal experiences. This theory is student-centered, with the teacher acting as a facilitator who guides the learning process.The research method used is a qualitative case study approach. The subjects of this study were 31 sixth-grade students from SDN Guyangan. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results showed that 28 students were able to produce compost and effectively use it as a growing medium for vegetables.The conclusion of this study is that the application of constructivist theory in learning was successful, as evidenced by the students' ability to manage organic waste and turn it into useful compost for planting vegetables.

Abstract

Speaking skill is one of the essential language competencies that support the learning success of elementary school students. However, in reality, most second-grade students still face difficulties in expressing ideas coherently, lack self-confidence, and have limited vocabulary use. This study aims to analyze the speaking skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri Kalibuntu through the application of the storytelling method. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with second-grade students of SD Negeri Kalibuntu as the subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, covering several indicators of speaking skills, including fluency, confidence, vocabulary use, expression, intonation, and comprehension of the story. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the storytelling method improved students’ speaking skills across all indicators. Students became more fluent in delivering stories, more confident in performing in front of the class, used new vocabulary, and showed more appropriate expressions and intonation. Thus, the storytelling method is proven to be effective in enhancing elementary students’ speaking skills.
