Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims: 1) to determine the difference in students' concept understanding between classes that apply the modeling the way learning strategy and classes that do not apply the modeling the way learning strategy; 2) to determine how much influence the modeling the way learning strategy has on the concept understanding of grade V students in IPAS learning in elementary school; 3) to determine the implementation of the use of the modeling the way learning strategy in IPAS learning in grade V elementary school. The type of research used is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design and Posstest-Only Control Group Design form. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN 26 Singkawang, totaling 47 people. The data collection technique used test and non-test techniques where the test technique was in the form of essay questions containing indicators of concept understanding and non-test techniques in the form of an implementation observation sheet containing the syntax of the modeling the way learning strategy. Data analysis techniques using t-test and Effect Size. The results showed that: 1) There is a difference in students' concept understanding between classes that apply the modeling the way learning strategy and classes that do not apply the modeling the way learning strategy with the results of tcount> ttable, namely 4.176> 2.021. 2) Modeling The Way Learning Strategy has a great influence on the understanding of the concept of grade V students in learning IPAS SD 26 Singkawang. This is indicated by the calculation of the Effect Size value of 1.20 which is in the high criteria. 3) The use of the Modeling The Way strategy is well implemented in IPAS learning in class V. So that there is an effect of the modeling the way learning strategy on the understanding of the concept of grade V students in IPAS learning in elementary school.

This study aims to investigate the influence of fifteen minutes of reading on the reading comprehension ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 84 Singkawang. This is a quantitative research using a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sample consisted of 26 fifth-grade students. The population was all fifth-grade students at SDN 84 Singkawang. Data collection techniques used a reading comprehension test. Data analysis techniques used quantitative analysis with statistics. The results of the study are: 1) Fifteen minutes of reading made a difference in reading comprehension ability between the experimental and control classes of fifth-grade students, as evidenced by the t-test, where the calculated t-value (16.50) was greater than the t-table value (2.01), meaning the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. 2) Fifteen minutes of reading had a significant impact on students' reading comprehension ability, as evidenced by an effect size (ES) of 3.67, which is categorized as high. This indicates that students' reading comprehension improved when fifteen minutes of reading was implemented. In conclusion, the research showed that implementing fifteen minutes of reading can improve the reading comprehension ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 84 Singkawang.

This research aims to: (1). To find out whether there are differences in science learning outcomes between students using the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by LKPD and conventional learning. (2). To find out how much influence the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by LKPD has on science learning outcomes at Sdn 92 Singkawang. The experimental research design in this research uses the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was class IVA and class IVB at Sdn 92 Singkawang. Based on the results of the research and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: (1). There are differences in science learning outcomes between students using the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by LKPD and conventional learning. This is proven by data analysis carried out using parametric statistical tests, namely the T test, t hitung > t tabel on the post-test results. (2). The application of the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by LKPD on science learning outcomes at Sdn 92 Singkawang has a moderate effect. This is proven by the results of calculating student data using the Effect Size formula, resulting in an Effect Size (Es) value of 0.7, which is in the medium criteria. (3). Problem based learning (PBL) learning has experienced a moderate increase towards students' cognitive domain learning outcomes in class IV Energy Resources material at Sdn 92 Sigkawang.

Numeracy literacy ability is one of the important abilities for students to have. One of the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability is students' learning initiative and learning independence. This study aims to: 1) describe numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau; 2) describe the factors that influence numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the learning independence of grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 18 grade V students of SD Negeri 17 Rantau. The object of this study is numeracy literacy ability based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence. Data collection techniques in this study used numeracy literacy ability tests, learning independence questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study obtained were 1) numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on the level of learning independence, namely, (a) students with a high learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 69.25 with moderate criteria; (b) students with a moderate learning independence category are quite capable of meeting the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills well, and have an average score of 58.87 with moderate criteria; (c) students with a low learning independence category are only able to meet the first indicator, namely solving problems in the context of everyday life, but have not been able to analyze information, and have not been able to interpret the results of the analysis to make decisions well, and have an average score of 47.83 with low criteria. 2) factors that influence numeracy literacy skills based on AKM questions based on student learning independence are from the students themselves, including the level of learning motivation, interest, student intellectuality, independence, and concentration.

This research aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the use of Social Emotional learning by implementing the STOP method for Ecology material at SMP Negeri 1 Grogol. This research was carried out using a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which was carried out in two periods (cycles) where each period consisted of four levels, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were 34 students in class VII C at SMP Negeri 1 Grogol. Data sources were collected from students, teachers, and documents. The data collection process was carried out through direct technical written tests. The results of this research show that the implementation of Social Emotional learning using the STOP Technique can improve student learning outcomes. This increase can be shown through the learning results for period (cycle) 1 with an average pre-test score of 48 having a learning completeness percentage of 3% and an average post-test score of 68 having a learning completeness percentage of 29%. Apart from that, for period (cycle) II, the average pre-test score was 79 with a learning completeness percentage of 65% and the average post-test score was 89 with a learning completeness percentage of 92%. Based on these results, it can be said that in cycle II, the student learning mastery indicator was achieved with a percentage of more than 85% with an average score above KKM≥75, so it can be said that the cycle was successful and stopped.

This research aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning using the PBL model and increase the cognitive learning scores of class VII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Grogol Kediri. Quantitative research methods were used in this research with a classroom action research (PTK) approach system which was carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle had 4 levels, including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection process is carried out through a Posttest at the end of each learning cycle. The results of this research show that the average value of cognitive learning outcomes has increased from 72.94 in the pre-cycle stage to 78.84 in cycle 1, and then to 87.64 in cycle 2. The percentage value of learning completeness has also increased, increasing from 64.7% in the pre-cycle stage to 85.5% in cycle 1 and then to 94.1% in cycle 2. Conclusions from the detailed action assessment (PTK) in class VII A students at SMP Negeri 1 Grogol who applied the PBL model with a Differentiated shows an increase in cognitive scores and the percentage of student learning completeness.

This research aims to describe the improvement in Pancasila education learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva media in class IV at SDN 21 Bandar Buat, Padang City. This research applies a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects in this research were teachers (researchers) and 16 students consisting of 10 men and 6 women. The results of this research show an increase in: a) the first cycle Teaching Module obtained an average of 89.58% (B), and in the second cycle 95.83% (SB). b) The results of the implementation in the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 85.71% (B), and cycle II 96.42% (SB). c)The results of the implementation of aspects of students in cycle I obtained an average of 85.71% (B), and cycle II 96.42% (SB). d) The learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 81.65 (B),and cycle II increased to 89.75 (B). Thus,it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva media can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning in class IV at SDN 21 Bandar Buat, Padang City.

The role of parents in the formation of students' religious character is important to create a nation's generation that has good character in accordance with the Shari'a and the provisions of Islam. The purpose of this research is to explain how the role of parents in the formation of students' religious character at SD Negeri 3 Purwawinangun. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research design descriptive research design. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Milen and Huberman model includes data display, and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of this study indicate that parents have an important role in the formation of a good religious character. To form a good religious character it can be done by doing good habituation at home. Besides in addition, in order to support the process of forming the religious character students, SD Negeri 3 Purwawinangun has also implemented a school religious program, which aims to form good habits of students at school good habits of students at school.

The problem in this study is based on the learning process where students do not give a good response, this can be seen when the teacher explains that they do not get enough attention, when given questions only a few can answer, besides that students are also found to be less confident in expressing their opinions. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between social intelligence and student learning activity at MI.Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang. The research method used is correlation research with a quantitative approach. The objects of this study were students in grades IV, V and VI at MI.Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang totaling 64 students. Data collection used a student social intelligence questionnaire and a student learning activity questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the analysis requirements test used the normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and the linearity test used the Deviation From Linearity. Hypothesis testing used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between social intelligence and student learning activity at MI.Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang which is indicated by a correlation value of 0.50 which means it has sufficient criteria based on the level of correlation and has a positive correlation direction.

This research aims to: 1) determine the difference in numeracy literacy abilities between classes that use the PjBL model and classes that use direct learning for class V students at SDN 6 Singkawang 2) find out whether there is an increase in students' numeracy literacy abilities after implementing the Project Based Learning model assisted by animated videos on the material on the area of flat figures for class V SDN 6 Singkawang; 3) find out the implementation of the use of the Project Based Learning model assisted by animated videos on material on the area of flat shapes for class V SDN 6 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, total sampling type. The population of this study was 50 class V students at SDN 6 Singkawang. The data collection technique uses a test technique in the form of essay questions containing indicators of numeracy literacy abilities and a non-test technique in the form of an implementation observation sheet containing the Project Based Learning model syntax. Data analysis techniques use t-test, N-Gain, and percentages. The results of the research show 1) There is a difference in numeracy literacy abilities between classes that use the PjBL model and classes that use the direct learning model for class V students at SDN 6 Singkawang with the results of tcount > ttable, namely 3.5754 > 2.010. 2) students' numeracy literacy skills in the area of flat figures increased after using the project based learning model assisted by animated videos with an N-Gain value of 0.64 with medium criteria. 3) The use of the project based learning model assisted by animated videos was carried out well with a percentage score at the first meeting of 91.66% and the second meeting of 95.83% which was in the very good criteria.
