Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to: 1) Describe the students' reading comprehension ability seen from the learning independence in class V MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang. 2) Describe the learning independence of class V students of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang which is still low. 3) Describe the relationship between learning independence and the reading comprehension ability of class V students of MI Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative with a correlational research design. The population in this study were all class V students of MI. Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang totaling 42 students. From this population, samples were taken using the total sampling technique, so that the sample used was 42 students. The data collection techniques used in this study were indirect communication techniques and measurement techniques, with questionnaire and test research instruments. The student independence questionnaire consisted of 22 statements and the reading comprehension ability test consisted of 10 multiple choice questions. The data analysis techniques used were percentage and correlation. The data analysis technique used the Pearson product moment correlation formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05). The results of the study showed that 1) the level of student learning independence was classified as high with an average value of 77, 2) the level of student reading comprehension ability was classified as high with an overall average value of 79, 3) there was a significant relationship (correlation) between learning independence and reading comprehension ability. With a correlation coefficient of 0.41 (categorized as moderate) which means that learning independence plays a role in influencing reading comprehension ability with a contribution of 25%. From the results of the research that has been conducted, there is a relationship between learning independence and reading comprehension ability.

The aims of this research are, 1. To find out the difference in the scientific literacy abilities of students who are taught using the outdoor study-based CLIS learning model and students who use the conventional learning model, 2. To find out how much influence the outdoor study-based CLIS learning model has on scientific literacy abilities fifth grade elementary school students. The type of research used is quantitative quasi-experimental and the research design is Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Sampling uses a saturated sampling technique. The research sample of VB class students was 30 students. The instrument used in the research was a test sheet for students' scientific literacy abilities. The data analysis technique uses a two-sample t test and effect size. Research result; 1) There is a difference in the scientific literacy abilities of students who use the Outdoor Study Based CLIS Learning Model with students who are taught using conventional methods in VB class, the calculation results show = 3.44 and = 2.00; 2) The CLIS Learning Model Based on Outdoor Study has a big influence on the scientific literacy abilities of fifth grade elementary school students, with an effect size calculation result of 0.60.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari media e-book berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan qr-code menurut validator ahli media dan ahli materi. 2) Untuk membuktikan bahwa media e-book dapat meningkatkan minat belajar pada peserta didik tingkat sekolah dasar. 3) Untuk membuktikan bahwa media e-book dapat mengingkatkan kamampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. E-book ini dirancang dengan memadukan elemen teks, gambar, video, dan animasi untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Uji kelayakan media video pembelajaran yang divalidasi oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi masing masing ada 93% dan disimpulkan layak digunakan dalam penelitian. Uji dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Hasil asil evaluasi minat belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-book berbasis multimedia interaktif dengan qr-code dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik secara signifikan. Oleh karena itu, e-book ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar.

This study aims to: 1) Describe the methods used by teachers at SDN 93 Singkawang to instill disciplined character in grade III students; and 2) Identify the factors that instructors naturally use to support and impede the development of disciplined character in grade III students. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive technique, the research methodology for this study is qualitative. Observations, documentation, and interviews are used as data collecting techniques. The principal, educators, and students served as the study's participants. The teacher's method for helping pupils develop disciplined character is the focus of this study. Based on the results of the analysis described above, it was found that the results of the independent variable (X) giving punishment had a significant relationship with the dependent variable (Y) Discipline of Class III students at SDN Poris Pelawad 6. This was shown by the regression equation Y = 10,963 + 0.188 X. This equation is in accordance with simple linear regression, namely Y = α ≠ ꞵ variable Y, in other words accepting H1, namely that there is a relationship between giving punishment to the discipline of Class III students at SDN Poris Pelawad 6, and rejecting H0, namely that there is no relationship between giving punishment to the discipline of class III students at SDN Poris Pelawad 6.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how elementary school students' comprehension is affected by the use of infographic media. Subjective examination is a utilized for this exploration. The case study approach is utilized in this kind of research. The exploration subjects were an educator and the understudy. To guarantee the truth, various methods, such as observation and interviews, were used to collect the data. Each informant is chosen with the intention of gathering the necessary information, and it is assumed that they are aware of the situation under investigation. The examination got information through: understudies I went about as essential sources, who had broad data about the inquiries posed to by the specialist. The selected students have used infographic media to learn. Educators went about as auxiliary witnesses, who upheld the data from essential sources. Infographics are visual media that join illustrations and text, making learning seriously intriguing and connecting with for understudies. The conclusion demonstrates that infographics increase students' engagement in the learning process and enhance their comprehension of the subject matter. By and large, this study shows that infographics can be valuable for understudies in essential training since they assist them with figuring out the material and participate in the growing experience.

This research aims to: 1) Describe the self-efficacy of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. 2) Describe the communication skills of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 singkawang. 3) Knowing whether there is a relationship between students' self-efficacy and the communication skills of grade V students at SD Negeri 12 Singkawang. The type of research used in this study is correlation descriptive research with a quantitative approach with a correlation research design. The population in this study is 59 students in grades VA and VB of SDN 12 Singkawang. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of an adaptation questionnaire from Kurniawati (2016) and Almuhaimin (2014). The data analysis technique is the overall average and the correlation of Pearson product moment. 1) The self-efficacy of students is in the low category with an overall average of 36.82%. 2) Students' communication skills are in the medium category with an overall average of 48.50%. 3) There is a relationship between self-efficacy and students' communication ability which is evidenced based on a significance value of 0.032 < 0.05 with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.809. And it shows a high level of relationship strength. Based on the calculation using the determinant coefficient formula, the relationship between self-efficacy and communication skills of students in elementary school, namely SDN 12 Singkawang, is 65.45%.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in data presentation material. This is due to teacher-centered learning, and students are less active in expressing their opinions during learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in learning outcomes using the PMRI model in data presentation material in class IV SDN 42 Talawi, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. It is carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 2 meetings and cycle II consisting of 1 meeting. In each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in class IV SDN 42 Talawi, Pesisir Selatan Regency, totaling 9 people. The results of the study showed an increase in: 1) The results of observations of the Teaching Module in cycle I averaged 81.25%, increasing in cycle II to 93.75%, 2) Teacher activity in cycle I averaged 83.33% increasing in cycle II to 95.83%, 3) Student activity in cycle I averaged 83.33% increasing in cycle II to 95.83%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I averaged 70.48, increasing to 89.86 in cycle II. For the assessment of student attitudes in cycle I, there were 3 students with negative attitudes and 4 students with positive attitudes. In cycle II, there was 1 student with negative attitudes and 8 students with positive attitudes. Thus, it can be concluded that the PMRI model can improve student learning outcomes in learning data presentation material in Elementary Schools

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning on the mathematical literacy abilities of grade 4 students at SDN Bugangan 01. This type of research is experimental. The research design used was Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The data collection methods used were tests and observations. The instrument used in this research was a test. The test used in this research is a formative test in the form of an essay. The test questions consist of 10 sample questions totaling 23 students. The results of this research show that students' mathematical literacy skills have increased based on the results of the descriptive test, with a higher post-test average score of 81.09 compared to the pre-test average score of 45.87. In addition, the average Ngain score of the respondents amounting to 65.5026%. This shows that the Ngain value is categorized as quite effective (range between 56% - 75%). Therefore, the problem based learning model is quite effective in improving students' mathematical literacy skills.

This research animsto: 1) Determine the improvment in learning outcomes for class II MI. Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang before and after applied the modeling the way learning method; 2) To determine the differencen in improving learning outcomes for class II MI students. Muhammadiyah 2 singkawang between the experimental class and the control class; 3) To find out the learning activities of class II MI students. Muhammadiyah 2 Singkawang is considered active when the modeling the way learning method is applied. The type or research used is quantitative using a quasi-experimental method (Quasi experimental design). The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest only group design applied to two groups. The population in this study were all class II MI Students. Muhamamdiyah 2 Singkawang for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 39 students, The sampling technicque that will be examined in this research is class II A And II B MI. Based on the result of the research and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: (1) The results of calculating the studen’s pre-test and post-test score data obtained an N-Gain value of 0,51. This is indicated by the average N-Gain of 0,51 with medium criteria. (2) Based on data analysis carried out using parametric staticial tests, namely the T test, tcount> ttabel, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. Based on data analysis carried out using parametric statistical test, namely the T test, tcount> ttabel. (3). Student learning activities are active when applying the modeling the way learning method. It can be seen from the results of calculating the score for each indikator, the pre-test is 63,94% and the post-test is 67,31. Meanwhile, the calculation of the score per indikator is that the overall average for the pre-test is 51,16 and the average for the post-test is 54,39.
