Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to determine the effect of using digital game-based learning methods to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subject at Avicenna Gemilang Elementary School using mathplayground as the learning media. This research uses an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The samples used in this study were 25 grade one students in Avicenna Gemilang Elementary School. The data collection of this study was with a test instrument in the form of a multiple-choice question test given at the beginning and end of learning. Data analysis was carried out based on quantitative data by calculating the average pretest and posttest. To find out if there is a significant increase, the researcher conducted a normality test, and t test, namely paired sample test with the assistance of SPSS 26. The results of this study showed that the average pretest student score was 64.40 and posttest 76.80 and the results of the paired sample test data analysis showed a sig. (2-tailed), 0 < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using digital game-based learning methods to improve student learning outcomes in math subjects at Avicenna Elementary School using mathplayground.

This research aims to find out whether the use of the Make A match learning model can increase the activeness and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in class II students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Jagalan Surakarta. The research subjects were 22 grade II students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Jagalan. This research is classroom action research. Meetings were held over 2 cycles. The research results showed an increase in student activity and learning outcomes. From the indicator of activeness in asking questions from pre-cycle, 8 (36.36%) students became 14 (63.64%) students in cycle I then became 19 (86.36%) in cycle II. Answering questions from pre-cycle 10 (45.45%) students became 16 (72.73%) students in cycle I then became 19 (86.36%) in cycle II. Expressing pre-cycle opinions, 8 (36.36%) students became 13 (59.10%) students in cycle I then became 18 (81.82%) in cycle II. Student learning outcomes at the pre-cycle stage were 45.45% (10 students reached KKM). In cycle 1 stage it increased to 68.18% (15 students reached KKM). In the second cycle stage it increased to 81.82% (18 students reached the KKM). The conclusion of this research is that learning by applying the Make A Match model can increase the activeness and learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in class II students at SD Muhammadiyah 8 Jagalan.

This research was written with the aim of finding out the influence of animated video media on the motivation and learning outcomes of Indonesian language class II students at SDN 116 Pekanbaru. This quasi-experimental research uses a pretest posttest control group design. The number of respondents was 72 people. The instrument for collecting data on learning motivation is a questionnaire, and the instrument for collecting data on learning outcomes is a test. The data were analyzed using parametric statistics, namely the Independent Sample T-Test. The result is that there is an influence of animated video media on the motivation to learn Indonesian for class II students at SDN 116 Pekanbaru due to Sig.(2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05. There is an influence of animated video media on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class II students at SDN 116 Pekanbaru with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05, indicated by the learning outcomes of students taught with animated video media which are higher than student motivation and learning outcomes. taught using powerpoint media.

This study aims to find out the overview of students' mathematical learning outcomes and the influence of the application of Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Assisted Individually (TAI) on mathematics learning outcomes of UPT SD Negeri 7 Watang Sidenreng students. This study uses a type of pre-experimental design experiment research form one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study was all UPT SD Negeri 7 Watang Sidenreng students, while the sample consisted of 21 students in grade IV. Sampling in this study used the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is multiple choice tests. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the data analysis showed that the results of the fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 7 Watang Sidenreng were processed with the average pretest score of 50.52 and the average posttest score of 82.47, which means that the students' learning results improved. Next, the hypothesis test was performed with the Paired Sample T-Test, which showed that H_a was accepted meaning that there was a difference in the mathematical learning outcomes of learning in the classroom of 4th grade UPT SD Negeri 7 Watang Sidenreng students before and after the application of the team assisted individually (TAI) type cooperative learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Assisted Individually (TAI) has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of 4th grade UPT SD Negeri 7 Watang Sidenreng students.

The conservation of the sea in North Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, faces significant challenges due to climate change and human activities. This study aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers in developing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) Project Module based on ocean literacy, with a focus on environmental understanding and marine conservation. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach with interviews and observations of the principal, teachers, and 4th-grade students of SDN 3 North Rupat. Data indicate that the school and teachers have a good understanding of ocean literacy and are committed to integrating it into the curriculum, although there are challenges regarding resources and support. Students demonstrate high awareness of the importance of maintaining sea cleanliness and are actively involved in conservation activities. In conclusion, despite facing some challenges, there is a strong commitment from the school, teachers, and students to support and enhance ocean literacy education and marine conservation in North Rupat.

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan model Project Based Learning (PJBL) berbasis STEM dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa kelas 1 di SDN Percobaan 2 Malang. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang melibatkan 25 siswa, penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes evaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis serta pemahaman materi matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua, dengan persentase ketuntasan meningkat dari 83% menjadi 100%. Model PJBL berbasis STEM terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika serta mendorong partisipasi aktif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar model ini diterapkan lebih luas di sekolah dasar dan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi penerapannya pada mata pelajaran lain dan jenjang pendidikan yang berbeda. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran inovatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21.

Teacher dominance in teacher-centered learning model Passive learning, students easily chat with their friends next to them, noisy when the teacher is explaining the material or busy with objects around them, so that when the teacher asks questions to students, not all students understand the material presented. Students who do not understand the material given by the teacher can result in students being left behind in doing assignments, students who do not understand what is being learned make students ask their friends, foster a sense of insecurity about themselves. This study aims to investigate the effect of self-esteem on the learning achievement of fourth grade students at SDN Karang Tengah 7 using the survey method. Data analysis using a simple linear regression test with a significance level of 0.5 (5%) F test regression obtained Fcount> Ftable (0.108> 2.30) The results of the F test indicate that there is no significant effect between self-esteem and fourth grade students' learning achievement. Simple linear regression shows a positive relationship between self-esteem and learning achievement (Y = 66.424 + 0.282X). In conclusion, self-esteem does not have a significant influence, but its effect is limited, with other factors also influencing student learning achievement.

The urgency of developing comic-based teaching materials that integrate maritime context arises from the need to enrich educational methods and enhance maritime literacy among students in Indonesia, a country with vast maritime potential. This study aims to explore the importance and effectiveness of comics as an educational tool in delivering maritime-related content to students. Using qualitative methods, including interviews with educators and analysis of students' learning preferences, this research highlights the appeal and effectiveness of visual media in education. Comics, with their engaging and interactive format, have been shown to increase students' motivation and knowledge retention compared to traditional teaching methods. The integration of maritime themes into these teaching materials not only provides educational value but also fosters a deeper understanding of Indonesia's maritime identity and raises awareness of the importance of the maritime sector in the nation's economy, culture, and environment. The study concludes that there is an urgent need for the development of innovative teaching materials that reflect local contexts, such as maritime issues, to better engage students and make learning more relevant to their environment. Furthermore, the successful implementation of such educational tools requires collaboration among educators, policymakers, and comic illustrators, supported by educational policies that encourage the adoption of contextually relevant teaching materials. This approach is crucial for optimizing Indonesia's maritime potential through a more adaptive and responsive education system.

Social character is one of the traits that educators must instill in students as a means of self-adjustment in Islamic boarding schools. Mentors, acting as middle managers, play an active role in instilling social character in students at Sabilurrosyad Putra Gasek Islamic Boarding School in Malang. The aim of this research is to reveal the strategies employed by mentors in instilling social character in students. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that mentors employ strategies to instill social character in students through a series of rules, learning activities, and guidance that emphasize providing guidance and advice, followed by setting direct examples in daily activities.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in multiplication operations involving whole numbers and decimals by using the lattice method in Grade V at SDN Dukuh Kupang 1-488 Surabaya. The lattice method was chosen because it offers a systematic approach to solving multiplication problems, which students often find difficult. The research was conducted through classroom action research (CAR) over two cycles, involving 31 students. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed that in the first cycle, the students' average score was 67.50, with a mastery learning percentage of 58.06%. After improvements in the second cycle, the average score increased to 80.30, with a mastery percentage of 80.65%. This improvement in learning outcomes indicates the effectiveness of the lattice method in helping students understand multiplication concepts. Additionally, this method also increased students' motivation and confidence in learning mathematics. However, some challenges were encountered during the implementation of the lattice method, such as the time students needed to adapt and the lack of variety in practice problems. This study suggests that the lattice method should be introduced early on to help students grasp multiplication operations more easily, and that teachers should engage in regular reflection to enhance the quality of instruction. Overall, the lattice method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in multiplication of whole numbers and decimals.
