Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Education for children with special needs is something that the Indonesian government must pay close attention to. This research aims to understand the teacher's role in inclusive education in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling, which selects teachers of classes that include children with special needs. Data was collected using in-depth interview techniques with the fourth-grade teachers at SDN Tanah Kali Kedinding 1. The research results show that teachers play an important role in the success of inclusive education for children with special needs.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the landscape of education, including Islamic education. While offering opportunities to expand access to knowledge, the digital era also presents ethical challenges such as character degradation, academic dishonesty, and weakened spiritual engagement. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the role of educational hadiths in shaping and reinforcing Islamic educational ethics in the digital age. Employing a qualitative approach through literature review and thematic analysis, this research explores selected prophetic traditions that emphasize values such as honesty, responsibility, adab (etiquette) in learning, and information verification (tabayyun). Data were collected from classical hadith sources and relevant scholarly publications from the last decade. The findings indicate that educational hadiths remain contextually relevant and can serve as a moral compass for addressing digital-age challenges. The integration of hadith values into digital curricula and learning platforms not only strengthens students’ ethical awareness but also promotes balanced spiritual and intellectual development. The study recommends the development of structured hadith-based learning models and the evaluation of their effectiveness within digital learning environments such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Islamic educational applications. Furthermore, collaboration among educators, parents, and policymakers is crucial to ensure the sustainable internalization of prophetic values among Generation Z learners. This research contributes both theoretically and practically to the discourse on Islamic education and digital ethics.

The background of this research is the low availability of contextual digital teaching materials and the lack of use of technology in IPAS learning. This study aims to develop an interactive e-module based on inquiry learning as an alternative digital teaching material in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) topic “Economic Conditions in My Area” for grade V elementary school. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. Material expert validation showed 88.3% feasibility, media expert 93.4%, and pedagogical expert 97.5%. The trial results showed practicality of 94.9% in the first trial, 96.7% in the second trial, and 97.8% in the third trial. The results of this study indicate that the inquiry learning-based interactive e-module is very feasible to use in learning IPAS in elementary schools.

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi yang dapat diwujudkan melalui model pembelajaran yang inovatif. Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek berbasis STEM (PjBL-STEM) dalam pengajaran konsep siklus air pada pelajaran IPA SD Kelas 5. Metode tinjauan literatur digunakan dengan menganalisis 15 jurnal nasional dan internasional yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2015 dan 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL-STEM secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep siklus air melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam proyek otentik yang mengintegrasikan sains, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika. Selain itu, model ini menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam merancang dan melaksanakan proyek, meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap mandiri. Pendekatan ini sejalan dengan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan pembelajaran kontekstual dan penguatan profil siswa Pancasila. PjBL-STEM direkomendasikan sebagai strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan keterampilan abad ke-21 di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar, terutama dalam belajar tentang siklus air.

This study investigates the concept of teacher agency in the context of curriculum development, highlighting the essential role of educators in customizing educational experiences to address the varied requirements of learners and the particularities of local environments. In high-performing PISA countries such as Finland, Singapore, and Canada, teacher agency is strongly supported through continuous professional development, flexible evaluation systems, and broad opportunities for innovation. In contrast, Indonesia's centralized education system limits teachers' autonomy in designing contextual and responsive learning. The primary concern examined in this research pertains to the insufficient structural support for teacher agency, which impedes educators from functioning as catalysts for educational transformation. The primary aim of this scholarly investigation is to provide a more nuanced comprehension of the pivotal role of teacher agency within the framework of curriculum development, as well as to formulate policy recommendations that promote teacher autonomy and innovative practices. This inquiry utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, employing a comprehensive literature review to analyze educational practices prevalent in developed nations and their applicability to the Indonesian educational landscape. The results suggest that the integration of strategies from nations with exemplary educational systems can significantly improve the quality of education in Indonesia, particularly through the enhancement of teacher agency. Furthermore, this research advocates for the pursuit of additional studies in the realm of comparative analysis to investigate effective methodologies for empowering educators as agents of transformation within the national educational framework.

This type of research uses Qualitative Descriptive research, according to Sugiyono in (2018) qualitative methods are methods that use descriptions with comparisons of observation and interview results. The population used in this study were teachers and students of grade 4 of SDN Pesantunan 05. The sample used was grade 4 students with a total of 4 students with the categories of active students, smart students, naughty students and less active students. The data sources used are primary and secondary sources. The primary source is the results of interviews and observations, while the secondary source is documentation. Data collection using observation and interviews. The analysis technique used uses data reduction. The results of this study are that the ethics of the teaching profession and the moral responsibility of teachers play an important role in creating quality and equitable education. Teachers are not only tasked with conveying knowledge, but also as guides who have great responsibility for the development of student character. However, in carrying out their duties, teachers face various moral challenges that affect the quality of education. This journal reviews the ethics of the teaching profession, the moral responsibility of teachers, and the challenges that teachers must face in carrying out their roles in the world of education.

This literature review research aims to analyze the role of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in enhancing students' entrepreneurial character. Entrepreneurial character, which includes an innovative, creative, independent, calculated risk-taking, action-oriented, and value-creating mindset and behavior, is increasingly relevant in facing the challenges of the 21st century. P5, as part of the Merdeka Curriculum, is designed to develop various dimensions of student character through project-based learning and active engagement with the surrounding environment. This literature study examines the concept of entrepreneurial character in the educational context and the potential of P5 in fostering student character. Despite its promise, the implementation of P5 faces challenges such as a lack of teacher understanding and skills, resistance to change, and difficulties in character assessment. To optimize the role of P5 in strengthening entrepreneurial character, policy support, teacher professional development, and collaboration with the local community are necessary. This research concludes that P5 has significant potential in instilling entrepreneurial values through contextual and collaborative learning experiences, but its implementation requires well-planned strategies to overcome existing challenges.

This study aims to (1) identify whether or not there is a difference in the understanding of science concepts in experimental classes with contextual teaching and learning learning models with classes that use direct learning models; (2) identify the effect of contextual teaching and learning learning models on the ability to understand science concepts of grade V students; (3) identify student responses to science learning using contextual teaching and learning learning models in grade V. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of quasi experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all grade V students of SDN 88 Singkawang, totaling 44 people. Sampling in the study using non-probabilty sampling technique with purposive sampling type. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using two-sample t-test, effect size, and percentage of student response questionnaire. The results showed that (1) there is a difference in understanding the concept of science in classes that use contextual teaching and learning models with classes that use direct learning models, this is shown from the results of t-count 6.341 and t-table 2.080. (2) there is an effect of the contextual teaching and learning learning model on the ability to understand science concepts of SDN 88 Singkawang students, this is evidenced by the results of the effect size test which shows that the value is 1.5> 0.8 so that it is in the high category. (3) student responses show a positive response, as evidenced by the results of the percentage calculation which gets 87% with a good category.

This quantitative descriptive study aims to analyze the performance of grade IV A and IV B students in understanding the concept of plant reproduction. The results showed that around 68% students are not sure about their own concepts a very high percentage of misunderstandings. These misunderstandings mainly occurred in the concepts of plant body parts, photosynthesis, and plant reproduction. The main causes of misunderstandings are circumstances, teacher teaching strategies, and students themselves. This study suggests that future researchers can improve misunderstandings about plant reproduction material in science learning, so that they can improve students' understanding and performance in understanding the concept of plant reproduction.
