Abstract

Abstract:In contemporary education, promoting politeness is essential for students' interpersonal and professional growth. Digital platforms like posters and reels provide innovative means to effectively impart these values. This qualitative study aimed to educate students about politeness using digital posters and reels, evaluating their effectiveness in conveying social etiquette. Qualitative methods involved gathering students’ feedback on digital posters and reels depicting scenarios of polite behavior. Analysis revealed diverse perceptions among students regarding the impact of digital posters versus reels. While both mediums were generally well-received, reels were favored for their dynamic engagement, whereas posters were noted for their detailed information. Digital reels prove advantageous in teaching politeness by offering interactive and engaging content. However, posters remain crucial for delivering comprehensive information. Integrating both mediums strategically can optimize educational efforts to enhance politeness among students, catering to varied learning preferences and maximizing educational outcomes.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the ecoprint technique on the creative thinking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina Kihajar Dewantoro, Kota Selatan Subdistrict, Gorontalo City. This research was a quantitative experimental study with a pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest design). The results of the study with a sample size of 26 children showed an increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores. This can be seen from the pretest data, which had an average score of 19,19231 and a standard deviation of 4,621854. In contrast, the post-test data had an average score of 42,38462 and a standard deviation of 1 .651107. Based on the t-test from the paired test results, it was found that the sig. (2-tailed) value was 0,000, which is less than 0,05, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is confirmed. This means there is an influence of the ecoprint technique on the creative thinking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Kota Selatan Subdistrict, Gorontalo City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the impact of the use of animation learning media on the learning outcomes of IPS class IV SDN Bojong 1. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method with a design of nonequivalent control group design. The research was carried out at SDN Bojong 1 with sampling techniques using saturated samplings. In this study, class IV-A as an experimental class used an animated learning medium, while class IV-B as a control class did not use an animation learning medium. The data collection technique uses a test on the essay, and the data analysis technique uses the test-t. The calculation of the hypothetical test using the test -t on the posttest data shows that the thitung is 3.67 > a table of 2.01. Then, Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. Study results show that students' learning outcomes using animated learning media have improved significantly. Abstract

Education and culture are two aspects that are closely related to each other and have a significant influence on each other. Both support each other and cannot be separated in shaping people's lives. Education has a strategic role in every cultured society. To maintain the sustainability of a culture, education can be used as a means to introduce, understand and appreciate the culture of a society to the younger generation. Vice versa, culture plays a role in shaping education for a society by providing values, beliefs and norms that form the basis of the educational objectives. Therefore, education cannot be separated from culture and society as the owner of that culture.

Abstract

This research discusses the comparison of the Dediscerta Learning Method with the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) Learning Method in Reading Ability, Comprehension of Folklore Texts and Learning Outcomes of Class V Cluster 3 Students, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This research aims to determine whether there are differences in students' reading comprehension abilities of folklore texts using the Dediscerta learning method and the SQ3R learning method. The type of research used is quasi experimental design type nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all students of class V, Cluster 3, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency, which consists of seven schools with a total number of students of 285. The research sample chosen was class V students of SDI Ta'buakkang, totaling 44 people. There are 42 class V students at SDI Bilonga. There were 45 class V students at SDN Bategulung using cluster random sampling techniques. The data collection technique in the research was carried out through a test technique to determine students' ability to read and understand folklore texts in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 10 questions. The results of research based on descriptive analysis showed that the average value of the Dediscerta learning method at SDI Ta'buakkang was 85.23, at SDI Bilonga 81.75 at SDN Bategulung, 81.59, while for the application of the SQ3R learning method at SDI Ta'buakkang, the average value was 83. .57 at SDI Bilonga 81.75 at SDN Bategulung 81.42. This means that the Dediscerta learning method is more improved than the SQ3R learning method. Meanwhile, the results of the inferential analysis show that the Dediscerta learning method has a more significant effect compared to the SQ3R learning method on the ability to read and understand folklore texts for class V group 3 students in Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This is based on the results of the independent sample t test obtained, namely the sig value. 0.001 < 0.005.   Keywords: dediscerta learning method, SQ3R, reading comprehension ability, learning outcomes
