Abstract

Instilling multicultural values is one of the methods used for cross-cultural learning by forming mindsets, attitudes, actions and habits so that Indonesian national awareness emerges. The research aims to find out: (1) the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes (2) factors that influence the cultivation of multicultural values in developing social tolerance attitudes. This research is a qualitative research, with observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the study show that (1) the cultivation of multicultural values carried out by schools to develop social tolerance attitudes by applying them through learning in the classroom and outside the classroom as well as supervision during the school environment. The inculcation of multicultural values in the classroom can be done through the subject of Pancasila Education, it can also be through the arrangement of student seating in the classroom. While outside the classroom, it can be by holding extracurriculars, especially for scouts. As for supervision in the school environment, security guards play a role in guarding students, as well as teachers while at school; (2) There are 2 factors that affect the cultivation of structural values in developing social tolerance attitudes, namely, supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include school climate, extracurriculars, the role of teachers, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are ethnocentrism, stereotypes, bad prejudice, racism, discrimination and scapegoating.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Dasawisma organization in strengthening religious character and Islamic brotherhood among the people of Bulay Village, Galis District, Pamekasan Regency. As a community-based organization, Dasawisma has proven to focus not only on family empowerment but also on providing a platform for religious and social development. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Dasawisma activities, such as regular religious study groups, prayer gatherings, social activities, and commemorations of Islamic holidays, play a significant role in instilling religious values, strengthening solidarity, and strengthening relationships among community members. Thus, Dasawisma serves as an effective platform for instilling Islamic values that strengthen morals and maintain social harmony.

Abstract

Padila Zikrila A. Datuamas D20040040. Analysis of Teacher Strategies in Improving Students’ Visual Literacy Culture at SDN 3 Lakatan. (Supervised by Hasia Marto and Mustakim) The problems in this research are: (1) What strategies are applied by teachers to improve the visual literacy culture of students at SDN 3 Lakatan? and (2) What are the inhibiting factors faced by teachers in enhancing students’ visual literacy culture at SDN 3 Lakatan? The purpose of this study is to identify the strategies used by teachers and the obstacles they encounter in fostering students’ visual literacy culture at SDN 3 Lakatan. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the strategies applied by teachers include experiential learning, direct instruction, indirect instruction, interactive learning, and independent learning. The inhibiting factors consist of limited facilities, time management and classroom control issues, as well as students’ difficulties in understanding the material explained by teachers. In conclusion, teachers utilize appropriate learning tools aligned with the material after analyzing students’ needs prior to teaching. This allows teachers to measure students’ progress in achieving the competencies set in the learning process. The initial step taken by teachers is providing story media or books related to the Independent Curriculum, followed by allocating 10–15 minutes for students to engage in literacy activities.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of group guidance services for career planning experienced by students, including not being able to determine plans after graduating from high school, not knowing about their interests, talents and abilities, so a study is needed entitled the influence of group guidance services on career planning for class XI IPA 1 students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study aims to determine the effect of providing modeling technique group guidance services on career planning for class XI IPA students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah Perbaungan. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental type with a pre-experimental method of One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The subjects in this study were 10 students with low levels of career planning. This study focuses on the influence of modeling technique group guidance to improve students' career planning with the data collection technique used, namely a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Based on the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, the output value is Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.005, sig. value 0.005 < 0.05 at a significance level of 5% or α = 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students' career planning before and after being given modeling technique group guidance services. These results indicate that modeling technique group guidance services can effectively improve the career planning of class XI IPA students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah Perbaungan.

Abstract

The research aims to explore the correlation between peer social support and academic resilience among 137 Grade XI students at Istiqlal Private High School, Deli Tua, during the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quantitative correlation research design. A sample of 34 students was randomly selected, and data was collected through a validated questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.894. Analysis was conducted using normality tests, linearity tests, and product-moment correlation tests with SPSS software, showing a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship. The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.765, suggesting a strong relationship between peer social support and academic resilience. The study concludes that higher peer social support leads to increased academic resilience among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang cenderung membosankan karena didominasi metode ceramah dan buku teks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video visual terhadap peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VI SD Negeri Losari Kidul 01. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen menggunakan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI, dengan jumlah sampel 36 siswa yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket minat belajar dan tes hasil belajar, yang divalidasi dan reliabel untuk mengukur perubahan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video visual secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan skor rata-rata minat serta nilai hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, media video visual terbukti efektif sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang dapat menciptakan suasana belajar lebih menarik, meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, dan mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar pada muatan matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran PLAY, yaitu perpaduan dari model PBL, NHT, dan CRH. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam empat kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran, tes untuk mengevaluasi hasil belajar, serta dokumentasi guna merekam peristiwa-peristiwa penting yang terjadi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan persentase pencapaian setiap aspek pada masing-masing pertemuan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan: aktivitas guru naik dari 75% menjadi 97%, aktivitas siswa dari 33% menjadi 92%, keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dari 42% menjadi 92%, serta hasil belajar meningkat dari 17% menjadi 92%. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Matematika di jenjang Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted to determine the initial need for developing teaching materials in the form of supporting books or supplements to IPAS flipbooks which are used to increase motivation and learning outcomes. Student. The method used in this development research is a qualitative descriptive method. and using research instruments with interview analysis, questionnaires and assessments. And based on the results of initial observation analysis in the form of interviews and facts in the field, it shows that the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at two elementary schools in Taman do not know and understand the diversity of local wisdom in Sidoarjo is still low with an average score of 30 and the highest score is only 68. This is because learning about local wisdom in the Sidoarjo area is provided based on government textbooks, student worksheets and supporting books for learning local local wisdom are not yet available. For this reason, this research was carried out as an initial analysis of the need for developing supporting books/supplements that support science and science learning, especially local wisdom in Sidoarjo so that student motivation and learning outcomes can increase. Keywords: needs analysis, supplement book, flipbook, local wisdom ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui akan kebutuhan awal dari pengembangan bahan ajar berupa buku penunjang atau suplemen flipbook IPAS yang digunakan dalam meingkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian pengembangan ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. dan menggunakan instrumen penelitian dengan analisis wawancara, angket, dan penilaian. Dan berdasarkan hasil analisis observasi di awal berupa wawancara dan fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas 4 pada dua SD di Taman belum mengenal dan memahami keragaman kearifan lokal yang ada di Sidoarjo masih rendah dengan nilai rata-rata 30 serta nilai tertinggi hanya 68. Hal ini disebabkan bahwa pembelajaran kearifan lokal daerah Sidoarjo yang diberikan berdasarkan buku teks dari pemerintah, lembar kerja siswa, dan buku penunjang untuk pembelajaran keraifan lokal daerah belum tersedia. Untuk itu penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai analisis awal akan kebutuhan dari pengembangan buku penunjang / suplemen yang mendukung pembelajaran IPAS khususnya kearifan lokal di Sidoarjo sehingga motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Abstract

Airports are dynamic public spaces with high consumer traffic, requiring efficient and targeted marketing strategies. This study aims to examine the influence of brand awareness on brand loyalty, with consumer sensory memory serving as a mediating variable, focusing on Roti O consumers at Kualanamu Airport. A quantitative approach was employed through the distribution of online questionnaires to 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that brand awareness significantly influences both sensory memory and brand loyalty. Moreover, sensory memory partially mediates the relationship between brand awareness and brand loyalty. This study highlights the importance of sensory marketing strategies in building long-term consumer loyalty in high-traffic public environments such as airports.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The low reading interest among first-grade students can be influenced by the lack of innovation in the use of learning media in the classroom. It is necessary to have engaging learning media to increase students’ reading interest. This study aims to develop illustrated storybook learning media to improve reading interest among first-grade students in elementary school. This research uses the Research and Development (R\&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. For validity testing, assessments were conducted by three experts: material expert with a percentage of 90,91%, language expert with 92,00%, and media expert with 91,66%. In addition to these expert assessments, feasibility was also evaluated based on responses from educators and students. The educators’ responses resulted in a percentage of 94,50%, and the students’ responses produced 94,30%. Thus, it can be stated that the illustrated storybook is very valid and highly feasible to be used for learning in lower grades. Furthermore, to test students’ reading interest, assessments were taken from questionnaires and resulted in a percentage of 80,92%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the illustrated storybook is effective in increasing students’ reading interest
