Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Wordwall to improve mathematical counting skills among first-grade elementary school students. The research problem focuses on students’ low arithmetic abilities and the lack of engaging learning media suitable for early childhood characteristics. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments consisted of a 10-item multiple-choice test for pretest and posttest, and a student response questionnaire regarding the use of Wordwall. The sample in this study involved 20 first-grade students from SDN Tengah 07 Jakarta Timur. The media was developed using the Wordwall platform with the "Open the Box" template, presenting basic addition problems in an interactive quiz format. The results showed that the average score increased from 74.65 (pretest) to 90.45 (posttest). The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of p < 0.001, indicating a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention. The N-Gain score was 74.59%, which falls into the effective category. Additionally, students’ responses to the use of Wordwall indicated high enthusiasm and positive perceptions in terms of visual appeal, ease of use, and motivation to learn. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Wordwall media is effective in improving counting abilities in mathematics for first-grade elementary school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis peran guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya di kelas IV SDN 02 Cibatu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Infoman dipilih dengan purposive sampling yaitu guru dan siswa yang representatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peran guru dalam penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya. Guru yang berperan sebagai fasilitator, mediator, dan motivator berhasil meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman siswa sehingga tercipta pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting mengenai pentingnya peran guru dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. This study aims to determine the effect of using GeoGebra as a learning media on student learning outcomes in Mathematics at MIS NW Darul Ikhwan Kembang Sari, Academic Year 2024/2025. The research used an experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest. Sampling was conducted using a saturated sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 15 students. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test. The prerequisite test used was the Liliefors test to verify data normality. The results of the normality test showed that the population was normally distributed. The results showed that the average pretest score was 49.047 and the average posttest score was 84.28. The results of the multiple-choice hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test yielded a calculated t-value of -5.362. If the calculated t-value is compared to the t-table (dk = n-1 = 15 - 1 = 14) with a 5% significance level, the result is 2.163. Therefore, it can be concluded that the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table (-5.362> 2.163). Therefore, the proposed hypothesis can be accepted, namely "H₀" is rejected, and "Hₐ" is accepted, which indicates that the use of GeoGebra learning media has an effect on student learning outcomes in mathematics at MIS NW Darul Ikhwan Kembang Sari in the 2024/2025 academic year

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using letter cards as learning media in improving the early reading skills of second-grade students at Kartika XIII-1 Ambon Elementary School. The research method used was classroom action research with two cycles, each applying four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study show that the use of letter cards as a learning aid is very effective in improving the early reading skills of second grade students at Kartika XIII-1 Ambon Elementary School. This improvement is demonstrated through more active student participation and learning outcomes that show significant progress in letter recognition, syllables, and word combinations.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate and analyze the instructional leadership of leading teachers before and after participating in the Leading Teacher Education Program. This study used a mixed methods research with a concurrent embedded model. The results showed that based on the perspectives of students, colleagues, according to the Principal, according to the leading teachers themselves, the leadership value after the program was in the very high category. This data was supported by the results of observations that showed an increase in the leading teachers' sensitivity to student needs, the implementation of enjoyable learning, increased self-reflection, and strengthened collaboration with fellow teachers. Leading teachers were also more active in leading the learning process, actively involving students, improving decision-making skills, and playing a strategic role in building a positive learning culture in the school.

This study aims to determine the differences in reading comprehension skills using picture card media among third-grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Tangerang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of all third-grade students at SDS Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Tangerang, totaling 55 students. The research sample comprised two classes: the control class and the experimental class. Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, documentation, and observation. The pre-test and post-test items administered demonstrated strong reliability, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value greater than 0.388. In the t-test hypothesis testing, the post-test data for the control and experimental classes showed that the calculated t-value (t_calculated) was greater than the t-table value (5.226 > 1.673). Based on these results, the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in reading comprehension skills when using picture card media among third-grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Tangerang.

This study aims to determine the metacognitive ability as self-regulated learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University to achieve academic achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. This study involved 225 active PPKn students from the classes of 2022, 2023, and 2024. The research sample of 135 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling method. Supporting data consisted of documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. Based on data analysis, a Pearson correlation value of 0.899 was found, indicating that the correlation is included in the category of a very strong relationship. The results of the determination test showed an R² value of 0.808, indicating that 80.8% of learning outcomes are influenced by self-learning, while the remaining 19.2% are influenced by factors outside the study. and the t table value = 1.656. So 15.82 <1.656, which means H0 is rejected and Hα is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between metacognitive abilities as part of self-regulated learning and student achievement. This indicates that the higher a student's metacognitive abilities, the higher their academic achievement. Conversely, if metacognitive abilities are low, student achievement tends to be lower.

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan modal fundamental bagi peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan global, perkembangan teknologi, serta dinamika sosial di masa mendatang. Apabila keterampilan ini tidak ditumbuhkan sejak dini, peserta didik berpotensi mengalami kesulitan dalam memilah informasi, mengambil keputusan yang tepat, dan bersikap rasional dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, kenyataannya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik di sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran yang mampu melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif, kontekstual, serta dekat dengan lingkungan budaya mereka. Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang dipadukan dengan kearifan lokal angklung dipandang sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model PjBL bermuatan kearifan lokal angklung terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 21 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Gandasari I sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 21 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Gandasari II sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen meningkat dari 47,86 menjadi 79,71, sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat dari 44,14 menjadi 68,19. Uji perbedaan rerata (t-test) menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PjBL bermuatan kearifan lokal angklung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

This study aims to develop an EtnoSTEM-based Pop-Up Book learning media on the material of cube and beam spaces to improve the mathematical understanding of fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Wanajaya 04 Bekasi Regency. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and mathematical understanding tests. The validation results show that the EtnoSTEM-based Pop-Up Book learning media is in the very feasible category from the aspects of material, language, and media. Student and teacher responses to the use of media are in the very practical category. The test results showed an increase in students' mathematical understanding after using the learning media, with the acquisition of N-Gain scores in the medium to high category. Thus, the EtnoSTEM-based Pop-Up Book media is effectively used in learning building space to improve mathematical understanding of elementary school students.
