Abstract

Quality management is a crucial component of modern organizational practice that emphasizes continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. In the Western perspective, quality management theory has evolved through rational and empirical approaches focused on measurable outcomes and process optimization. Scholars such as W. Edwards Deming, Joseph Juran, and Philip Crosby established foundational principles of quality management, including process control, continuous improvement, and employee involvement across all organizational levels.In contrast, the Islamic perspective on quality management extends beyond efficiency and technical quality, integrating spiritual and ethical dimensions derived from the Qur’an and Hadith. Core values such as ihsan (excellence in work), amanah (trustworthiness), and maslahah (public benefit) form the basis for a value-oriented and justice-driven quality system. This study aims to compare Western and Islamic theories of quality management by examining their philosophical foundations, core principles, and practical applications. The findings indicate that while both frameworks pursue superior quality, the Islamic approach emphasizes harmony between material and spiritual aspects, whereas the Western model predominantly focuses on rational, systematic, and technical dimensions of management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process, validity, and practicality ofinteractive PowerPoint media on poster material for third-grade elementary schoolstudents. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) withthe ADDIE model. Primary data were obtained from interviews with teachers andstudents, as well as evaluations from validators, while secondary data werecollected from books and journals relevant to the study. Data collection techniquesincluded interviews and questionnaires. The research instruments consisted ofinterview sheets, validation sheets, and limited trial questionnaires. Data wereanalyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis was based onsuggestions and comments, while quantitative analysis was obtained fromvalidation scores, teacher and student responses, and practicality scores. Thevalidation results of the interactive PowerPoint media indicated a very valid categorywithout any revision. This is reflected in the validation results, with an average scoreof 97.32% for the material aspect, 95% for the language aspect, and 97.32% for themedia aspect. The practicality test achieved an average score of 100%, showing avery positive response from teachers and students toward the interactivePowerPoint media on poster material.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Bagaiaman Prinsip Kontruktivisme, Bagaimana peran guru sebagai fasilitator, bgaimana cara Meningkatkan pembelajaran kelompok anak sd berdasarkan prinsip kontruktivisme. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif artinya penelitian tentang penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai: Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini memiliki tiga implikasi praktis yang perlu ditindaklanjuti oleh pihak terkait. Pertama, bagi Guru, perlu dilakukan pelatihan profesional yang intensif dan berkelanjutan yang secara spesifik fokus pada teknik scaffolding kognitif, terutama bagaimana merancang dan menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka (pemantik) untuk memandu eksplorasi siswa tanpa memberikan solusi. Kedua, bagi Sekolah (SDN 01 Jatimulyo), perlu dikembangkan pedoman standar operasional yang menekankan peran guru sebagai ''penunda jawaban'' dan ''pengelola ZPD'', serta mengintegrasikan metode evaluasi yang menilai proses scaffolding di kelas.Kedua, bagi Sekolah (SDN 01 Jatimulyo), perlu mengembangkan pedoman operasional standar yang mengharuskan peran guru sebagai ''penunda jawaban'' dan ''pengelola ZPD'', serta mengintegrasikan metode evaluasi yang menilai proses scaffolding di kelas. Ketiga, bagi Institusi Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, temuan ini menjadi masukan penting untuk merevisi kurikulum guru pelatihan, agar tidak hanya mengajarkan apa itu konstruktivisme

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bahasa Arab memiliki posisi strategis dalam pendidikan global karena perannya dalam komunikasi lintas budaya, ekonomi, dan agama. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis kurikulum pembelajaran Bahasa Arab tingkat pemula di lembaga pendidikan non-formal Markaz El Arabiya Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi dan efektivitas kurikulum dalam empat aspek utama: tujuan, materi, metode, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum di Markaz El Arabiya dirancang untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan komunikatif peserta melalui pembelajaran interaktif yang menekankan percakapan, kosakata tematik, dan latihan praktis. Materi pembelajaran menggunakan buku ajar karya pengajar sendiri yang terdiri dari 11 bab dengan fokus pada kosakata dan tata bahasa sederhana. Metode pembelajaran bersifat student-centered dengan pendekatan interaktif, sedangkan evaluasi dilakukan secara lisan dan tulisan. Meskipun belum memiliki kurikulum baku tertulis, pelaksanaan pembelajaran terbukti efektif mengembangkan kompetensi komunikatif peserta, dibuktikan dengan keberhasilan alumni melanjutkan studi ke Timur Tengah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam pengembangan model kurikulum Bahasa Arab di lembaga non-formal yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pembelajar pemula di era global. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the interactive learning media Wordwall in enhancing students’ learning motivation in the topic of ratios among sixth grade students at SD. The background of this research stems from the low levels of interest and motivation among students in mathematics learning, which tends to be monotonous and teacher centerer. The use of Wordwall is also expected to create a more engaging and interactive learning environment, encouraging the students’ active participation through a gamification based approach. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method involving 32 sixth-grade students and one teacher as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews, and analyzed using a triangulation method to validate findings from multiple sources. The results indicate that the use of Wordwall effectively increases students’ motivation, creativity, and competitive spirit. Based on these findings, this study recommends that Wordwall to be implemented in elementary schools as an innovative and effective learning tool to prevent student boredom during lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the paradigm of balance between academic achievement and student well-being within the education systems of three OECD countries Japan, Denmark, and Finland. The primary objective is to explore how these nations interpret and implement the concept of equilibrium between academic demands and students’ emotional needs, as well as how their educational policies shape learners’ character and intrinsic motivation. The background of this study arises from the global disparity in educational orientations that often emphasize academic performance and testing outcomes while neglecting students’ psychological welfare, happiness, and holistic development. In many countries, excessive academic pressure has led to negative consequences such as stress, depression, and loss of learning motivation. Conversely, nations like Denmark and Finland demonstrate that prioritizing student well-being can foster meaningful and sustainable learning quality. This research adopts a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected from national education policies, OECD reports, scientific publications, and previous studies. The data were analyzed through Comparative Qualitative Analysis (CQA) to identify similarities, differences, and underlying philosophical values in the educational paradigms of the three countries. The findings reveal that Japan emphasizes work ethics, discipline, and collective responsibility; Denmark prioritizes psychological welfare and learning autonomy; while Finland successfully integrates both through flexible curricula, non-competitive assessment systems, and high teacher professionalism. The implications of this study highlight the necessity for educational reform that balances academic demands with student well-being. The results conclude that an ideal educational paradigm should cultivate the development of whole individuals intellectually competent, emotionally fulfilled, and morally grounded.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya penerapan budaya religius di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Mahdaliyah Kota Jambi. Fenomena tersebut tampak dari rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa dalam kegiatan keagamaan, keterbatasan fasilitas ibadah, serta kurangnya keteladanan sebagian guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis visi dan misi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah, upaya yang dilakukan, serta kendala dan solusi dalam meningkatkan budaya religius di madrasah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data meliputi kepala madrasah, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji dengan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah berperan sentral sebagai pemimpin spiritual dan organisatoris. Upaya peningkatan budaya religius dilakukan melalui keteladanan, program keagamaan rutin, penguatan kerja sama guru dan orang tua, serta pembinaan karakter peserta didik. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan sarana ibadah, partisipasi guru yang belum merata, dan dukungan lingkungan eksternal yang belum maksimal. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan peningkatan budaya religius di madrasah sangat ditentukan oleh kepemimpinan kepala madrasah yang visioner, komunikatif, dan menjadi teladan bagi seluruh warga madrasah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using snakes and ladders media on mathematical logic intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten One Roof 02 Lubuk Pakam. The type of sample selection used by researchers is using a Non-Probability Sampling sample type, namely saturated sampling type. The type of research used is a quantitative method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design type using snake and ladder media. The research instruments and data collection techniques used were observation and documentation sheets. Based on the results of data analysis in the normality test via the Shapiro-Wilk test results, the two variables (PreTest and PostTest) have a statistically normal distribution. The Shapiro-Wilk statistical value for the PreTest is 0.878 with a significance value (p) = 0.066, while for the PostTest it is 0.918 with a significance value (p) = 0.090. Because both p values ​​are greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed, thus the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence of the use of snakes and ladders media on mathematical logic intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at One Roof 02 Lubuk Pakam State Kindergarten.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of batik making activities using ecoprint techniques on creativity in children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Ittihadiyah. The type of sample selection used by researchers is the Non-Probability Sampling type, namely saturated sampling. The type of research used is a quantitative method with One Group PreTest-Posttest design using batik activities using ecoprint techniques. The research instruments and data collection techniques used were checklists and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis in the normality test via the Shapiro-Wilk test results, the two variables (PreTest and PostTest) have a statistically normal distribution. The Shapiro-Wilk statistical value for the PreTest is 0.809 with a significance value (p) = 0.071, while for the PostTest it is 0.881 with a significance value (p) = 0.088. Because both p values ​​are greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed, thus the hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence of batik making activities using ecoprint techniques on creativity in children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurul Ittihadiyah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the creativity skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Tunjung 1 Bangkalan in understanding the concept of style in IPAS lessons. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique involving all fourth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test instrument that referred to four indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that the students' overall creative thinking skills were in the moderate category, with the following percentages for each indicator: fluency 49.3%, flexibility 59%, originality 55.5%, and elaboration 38%. The data showed that students were quite capable of generating various ideas and seeing problems from various perspectives, but still had difficulty expanding and developing ideas in depth. Therefore, it is recommended that future research focus on the development of learning devices that can stimulate the elaboration aspect, such as teaching modules, student worksheets (LKPD), or project based media tahat require students to explain and expand their ideas in detail.
