Abstract

Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character and moral values amidst the dynamics of global development. However, challenges such as modernization, human resource quality, and curriculum relevance demand continuous policy and program innovation. This article explores various policy innovations and quality improvement programs in Islamic education implemented by governments, educational institutions, and communities. The approach includes policy analysis, literature review, and empirical examination of field implementation. The findings indicate that the success of Islamic education quality improvement depends on the synergy between adaptive policies, teacher competency enhancement, digital technology utilization, and active community participation. The study recommends the importance of locally based policy reform, digital learning innovation, and continuous evaluation to ensure Islamic education remains relevant, inclusive, and competitive.

Abstract

Racket sports consist of various types of games, including padel and lawn tennis. The two are often considered similar because both use rackets and balls, but there are fundamental differences in technique, strategy, court size, and physical demands of each game. This study aims to analyze the differences in the dynamics of padel and lawn tennis through a literature review of both international and national sources. The research method used is a literature study by examining scientific documents, theoretical books, and popular articles related to both sports. The research subjects consist of secondary data in the form of literature on padel and lawn tennis, taken from international and national journals. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive-comparative approach, describing the characteristics of each sport and then comparing them based on technique, strategy, physiological aspects, and facilities. The research stages include determining the focus of the study, collecting relevant literature, grouping data, conducting descriptive analysis, and drawing conclusions. The findings show that padel tends to focus on short rallies, the use of walls during play, and intense partner coordination, while lawn tennis emphasizes ball speed, shot power, and strategies in open courts. This study is expected to provide deeper insights for coaches, athletes, and academics in developing learning and training models for racket sports.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pengasuhan peran positif terhadap perkembangan psikologis anak usia dini berdasarkan landasan teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (penelitian literatur). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pencarian di database akademik seperti Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, dan berbagai penelitian yang relevan dalam bentuk artikel, jurnal, serta buku. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis isi digunakan untuk memastikan pemahaman yang komprehensif. Pembacaan literatur secara berulang dan pengecekan antar pustaka dilakukan untuk menjaga ketepatan pembahasan dan mencegah kesalahan informasi dalam analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengasuhan positif memainkan peran krusial dalam mendukung perkembangan psikologis anak, terutama pada masa-masa awal kehidupan yang merupakan fondasi penting bagi masa depan mereka. Pendekatan pengasuhan yang berlandaskan kasih sayang, dukungan, dan keterlibatan aktif kedua orang tua tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, regulasi emosional, dan kesehatan mental anak, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan rasa percaya diri dan kemandirian. Kajian ini menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman mendalam orang tua terhadap tahapan perkembangan anak guna menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung tumbuh kembang optimal. Oleh karena itu, mendorong penerapan pengasuhan positif harus menjadi prioritas dalam berbagai upaya pengembangan anak usia dini, baik melalui program pendidikan maupun kebijakan keluarga, untuk mendukung kesejahteraan anak secara menyeluruh. Abstract

Crime is something that cannot be avoided. One form of crime that often occurs is premeditated murder. Premeditated murder cases are triggered by several factors. In this case the author will examine the factors that cause a person to commit a criminal act of premeditated murder in the study of Criminology and theories in criminology which can be used as a basis for analyzing the motive for a premeditated murder. This research uses qualitative methods by describing data sources, books and existing literature. From the results of research carried out by the author, in crime cases, especially cases of premeditated murder which the author addresses in this article, Criminology examines the factors that cause a person to commit the crime of premeditated murder, namely: Economic Factors, Revenge Factors, Environmental Factors, and Educational Factors that is often the reason or cause in a case of premeditated murder. The criminological theories used in analyzing a motive for premeditated murder are: Differential Association Theory, Anomie Theory, and Social Control Theory.

Abstract

Penelitian analisis kebutuhan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi urgensi pengembangan LKPD interaktif berbantuan Liveworksheets pada materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan di kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Desa Terusan, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, sebagai langkah inovatif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran IPAS. Permasalahan utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional, sehingga peserta didik kurang aktif dan kesulitan memahami konsep secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik peserta didik maupun guru memiliki tingkat kebutuhan dan kesiapan yang tinggi terhadap pengembangan media digital interaktif. Peserta didik menunjukkan tingkat persetujuan tinggi terhadap aspek kesesuaian media (88%), kebutuhan media tambahan (74%), aktivitas pembelajaran (81%), dan kesiapan teknologi (86%). Sementara itu, guru menunjukkan kebutuhan yang sangat kuat terhadap media pembelajaran inovatif, dengan tingkat persetujuan tinggi pada aspek kebutuhan pembelajaran (90%), gaya belajar (100%), pengembangan keterampilan berpikir (95%), dan kesiapan sumber daya (85%). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pengembangan E-LKPD interaktif menjadi sangat relevan untuk mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menuntut partisipasi aktif, berpikir kritis, serta kemampuan adaptasi terhadap teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the utilization of Augmented Reality (AR) technology can integrate learning with local wisdom to strengthen students cultural literacy. The background of this research stems from the rapid development of learning media, which has increasingly shifted toward the use of digital technologies, one of which is Augmented Reality. The combination of AR technology and elements of local wisdom can serve as an effective medium for students to understand the cutural values of their region. The implementation of AR-based learning that incorporates local wisdom is also considered a relevant pedagogical approach to enhance student engagement in elementary schools. Through this strategy, learning activites not only become more engaging and interactive, but also foster motivation and help students develop positive character from an early age. This research employs the SLR method using the PRISMA approach, which involves collecting, selecting, and analyzing relevant research findings. Out of a toal of 40 reviewed articles, 10 were identified as the most suitable to serve as primary sources for this study. The findings indicate that AR-based learning can enhance students cultural literacy while making the learning process more interactive and meaningful. AR-based media help students understand cultural values through concrete and engaging visual experiences.

Abstract

Development disparities and limited access to formal education in Eastern Indonesia have led communities to adopt nonformal education as a key strategy for empowerment. This study aims to analyze how nonformal education practices drive social transformation in the region. Using a systematic literature review methodology, the research examined 32 scholarly sources published between 2010 and 2025 from databases including Google Scholar and Garuda. Thematic analysis focused on empowerment models, roles of local actors, social impacts, and implementation challenges. Findings reveal that nonformal education in Eastern Indonesia is deeply rooted in local wisdom, facilitated by customary leaders and religious figures, and fosters critical consciousness and collective action. Social transformation manifests through increased public participation, local economic strengthening, and evolving gender relations. However, program sustainability is hindered by short-term funding dependencies and weak integration with regional policies. The study underscores the need for institutional recognition of nonformal education as an equal pillar in human development.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of ethnolog learning media based onSisingaan Subang Dance in improving the cultural literacy of elementary schoolstudents. The ethnolog media was developed by integrating local cultural elementsinto an educational video format that features dance performances, historicalexplanations, symbolic meanings, and local wisdom values that are packaged inan interesting and contextual manner. The research design used was One GroupPretest-Posttest Design with a quantitative approach. The research subjectsconsisted of 30 fourth-grade students at Kiarasari Elementary School, SubangRegency. Data collection was carried out through cultural literacy tests givenbefore and after the treatment. The results showed a significant increase instudents' cultural literacy scores after the use of ethnolog media. The averagepretest score of 52 increased to 79 in the posttest, with an N-Gain value of 0.61which is in the moderate category. This increase indicates that ethnolog media iseffective in enriching students' understanding of local culture. In addition to theincrease in scores, students also showed active involvement, enthusiasm, and anappreciative attitude towards local culture during the learning process. Thismedium has been proven to be suitable for the characteristics of elementaryschool students who prefer visual and story-based learning. Furthermore, the useof ethnologs aligns with the objectives of the Independent Curriculum tostrengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the dimensions of GlobalDiversity and Critical Thinking. Therefore, the Sisingaan Subang Dance ethnologis suitable for use as a learning tool that strengthens cultural literacy in acontextual and meaningful way.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools often faces challenges not only due to conceptual complexity but also because of psychosocial trauma that undermines students’ cognitive readiness—particularly in trauma-prone regions such as Eastern Indonesia. This study aims to examine the role of trauma informed guidance and counseling in enhancing conceptual understanding of Science (IPA) through a systematic literature synthesis. Employing a library research approach, 35 theoretical and empirical sources from international journals, books, and national policy reports were analyzed. Findings reveal that trauma informed counseling significantly supports IPA comprehension through three key mechanisms: (1) creating emotional safety that lowers the affective filter, (2) building self-efficacy through validation of lived experiences and small wins, and (3) fostering psychological resilience that transforms experimental failure into meaningful learning. These insights align with the Profil Pelajar Pancasila and underscore that inclusive science education must begin with psychological safety, not merely pedagogical innovation. The study recommends a structured collaboration between science teachers and school counselors as a strategic step toward humanizing education and advancing equity in learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the reading comprehension techniques employed by top achievers in the University of Mataram's TOEFL reading portion. Twenty English Education students with a TOEFL score of 500 or higher participated in this qualitative case study. Questionnaires and interviews were used to gather data, which was then subjected to a thematic analysis. The findings demonstrated that students used a variety of cognitive and metacognitive techniques, including previewing questions, inferring meaning, scanning, and skimming. Additionally, they displayed time management, emotional regulation, and customized techniques including anticipating responses and paraphrasing challenging language. Overall, the results show that their ability to adapt and combine several techniques in a flexible way during the test contributed to their success.
