Abstract

One of the low mathematical problem solving abilities of students is the lack of practice in solving non-routine problems. As many as 62% of class V students in filling out the questionnaire stated that when the teacher explained the material with lectures, this made the students' problem-solving abilities poor. The purpose of this research is 1) to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. 2) to test the average mathematical problem solving ability of students using the Problem Based Learning learning model to achieve KKM 70 completeness. The results of the paired sample t test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) from this study of 0.001 (p < 0.05). So the results of the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) experienced significant (meaningful) changes. Based on the descriptive statistics of the initial test and final test, it is proven that the final test is higher, so H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So, there is a significant average difference before and after implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model. Apart from that, based on the results of the one sample t test, P-Value = 0.026. Because the test carried out is a right-hand test, the P-Value=1/2× sig.(2-tailed)=1/2×0.026=0.013. this value is greater than 1/2∝=0.025. The P-Value is less than 0.025. So H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So, the average mathematical problem solving ability of students using the Problem Based Learning model is more than 70.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to determine the increase in learning outcomes in science and science subjects for class IV students at SDN 02 Mojorejo, Madiun City through the Picture and Picture learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Carried out in two cycles to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in more detail. The subjects of this research were class IV C students at SDN 02 Mojorejo, Madiun City with a total of 26 students. This research uses two learning cycles where each cycle consists of one meeting with the following learning stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques are by using interview, observation and test techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis uses qualitative methods by means of data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, and drawing conclusions as well as quantitative-based data analysis by analyzing data through test results. The results of this research are that the use of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV C students at SDN 02 Mojorejo, Madiun City. The results of the research after using the picture and picture type cooperative learning model were that in cycle 1 they obtained an average of 68 with a percentage of 57.6% for students whose scores were above average and in cycle 2 they obtained an average of 78 with a presentation of 69.2 % for students whose scores are above average. So the application of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 02 Mojorejo, Madiun City. Keywords: picture and picture, learning outcomes, students ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun melalui model pembelajaran Picture and Picture. Jenis penelitian ini yakni Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dilakukan dengan dua kali siklus untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa lebih detail. Subjek dari penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas IV C SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun dengan jumlah 26 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus pembelajaran dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari satu kali pertemuan dengan tahapan pembelajaran sebagai berikut : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yakni dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, analisis data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan serta analisis data berbasis kuantitatif dengan menganalisis data melalui hasil tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni penggunaan model belajar kooperatif learning type picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV C di SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun. Hasil penelitian setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning type picture and picture yakni pada siklus 1 memperoleh rata-rata 68 dengan presentase 57,6% untuk peserta didik yang nilainya diatas rata-rata dan pada siklus 2 memperoleh rata-rata 78 dengan presentasi 69,2% untuk peserta didik yang nilainya diatas rata-rata, maka penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning type picture and picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun. Abstract

This research investigates learning motivation factors on the English vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at Hidayatul Qomariyah Islamic Boarding School. Vocabulary mastery is critical for effective communication, particularly in learning English as a foreign language. This study explores how both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations influence students’ success in acquiring vocabulary. A qualitative approach was employed, using surveys and interviews to gather data from students and teachers. The findings reveal that intrinsic motivations, such as personal interest in mastering the language, significantly enhance students' engagement and persistence in learning. Extrinsic factors, including teacher support and the classroom environment, also play a vital role in encouraging students to improve their vocabulary. However, challenges such as limited access to digital resources and difficulties with pronunciation and grammar hinder their learning process. The study also found that interactive methods like singing and repetition improve vocabulary retention and motivation. Students who engage with audiovisual media and popular culture, such as English songs, show higher motivation to learn English. This research suggests that schools should provide better access to digital learning tools and create more engaging, interactive teaching methods to boost motivation and vocabulary acquisition. Additionally, a stronger focus on motivation-based teaching strategies may lead to better vocabulary outcomes for students, particularly in rural or less technologically equipped environments. Abstract

Masa emas perkembangan anak usia dini merupakan periode krusial bagi pertumbuhan kognitif, emosional, dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat diterapkan untuk membangun dasar literasi, matematika, sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan seni (STEAM) di RA Muslimat, Bekasi. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan 20 siswa usia 5-6 tahun sebagai subjek penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan berbagai keterampilan dasar. Hasil utama menunjukkan bahwa siswa menunjukkan minat dan partisipasi yang kuat dalam kegiatan pramembaca, pramenulis, numerasi, pemecahan masalah, dan kreatif. Meskipun beberapa siswa menunjukkan kecepatan belajar yang berbeda, pendekatan diferensiasi memungkinkan pengajaran yang fleksibel sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar individu. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya mengintegrasikan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini untuk mengakomodasi gaya belajar yang beragam dan mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, termasuk pemahaman guru yang terbatas tentang diferensiasi dan kurangnya sumber daya. Pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan dan dukungan institusional direkomendasikan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, it was found that the learning styles of class III students at SD Dhuhaa Islamic School varied. Not the same as one another. There are those who learn with a learning style of paying attention to the teacher's explanation (visual), there are those who learn by listening to the teacher carefully (auditory), but there are also students who move a lot and cannot sit still for a long time (kinesthetic), even though the lesson is in progress. .The aims of this research are: 1) To describe the visual learning style, auditory learning style and kinesthetic learning style of class III SD Dhuhaa Islamic School students 2) To find out the learning methods used by class III teachers at Dhuhaa Islamic School Elementary School when learning with the learning styles of students who use combination of VAK learning styles. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects being three class III students at SD Dhuhaa Islamic School. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, tests and in-depth interviews were used to obtain data on student learning style analysis and document study. The results of this research show that class III students at SD DhuhaaIslamic School learn using a combination of learning styles (VAK). With a tendency towards one learning style.

Abstract

Saat ini problematika orang dewasa yang sangat sering dijumpai salah berkaitan dengan dunia pendidikan. Tidak sedikit yang mengesampingkan peranan pendidikan bagi orang dewasa. Berbeda dengan pola pendidikan pada anak, objek orang dewasa menghendaki pengajaran yang lebih kompleks. Tidak lagi berperan menjadi seseorang yang mau menerima begitu saja sebuah pengetahuan. Mereka yang disebut sebagai orang dewasa sudah mulai mampu mengelola kecerdasan intelektual, emosional dan spiritual. Ranah yang dimaksud sebagai orang dewasa adalah mereka yang memiliki kematangan dalam ranah biologis, psikologis dan sosial. Sebagai agama yang memberikan pedoman atas semua yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Al-Quran memberikan pemahaman terkait dengan prinsip yang harus dijalani dalam proses pendidikan orang dewasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kepustakaan (Library Research). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari beberapa literatur yang mendukung kebutuhan data yang diperlukan. tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengenalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana Al-Quran memandang pendidikan orang dewasa yang dalam teori barat dikenal dengan istilah andragogi. Hasil peneliyian menunjukkan bahwa penting bagi setiap calon pendidik mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana konsep pendidikan andragogi dan prinsipnya. Dewasa kini pendidikan selalu hanya berpusat dari seorang subjek didik kepada objeknya. Hal ini mungkin dapat diberlakukan bagi pendidikan anak. Namun, bagi pendidikan orang dewasa hal ini tidak dapat lagi diberlakukan mengingat mereka adalah sebuah objek yang juga memiliki pengalaman dan kemampuan nalar yang dapat dikatakan menuju sempurna. Abstract

Education is a crucial component of life and has been a topic of discussion among scholars, including Imam al-Ghazali. This research examines the methodology of Islamic education from al-Ghazali's perspective. The results indicate that al-Ghazali's educational methodology emphasizes religious and moral education. He argues that the goal of Islamic education is to form a perfect human being. Al-Ghazali's thoughts lean towards education in faith, morals, intellect, social aspects, and physical well-being. In curriculum development, al-Ghazali adopts two approaches: religious and pragmatic. According to his perspective, Islamic education materials include faith education, moral education, intellectual education, social education, and physical education. Al-Ghazali stresses that a good teacher must be intelligent, wise, and possess commendable qualities. Meanwhile, students should be humble, cleanse themselves of bad traits, be obedient, and maintain consistency. Educational evaluation encompasses all activities related to responsibility in the educational process. This research provides insights into al-Ghazali's educational methodology in achieving national education goals, considering the challenges of evolving times and other influencing factors.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how to develop early childhood numeracy through traditional games. The research method used is literature study. The conclusion in this study is that the development of early childhood numeracy can be done by utilizing traditional games because many mathematical concepts are contained in traditional games. Traditional games that can be used to develop numeracy in early childhood include engklek, congklak and marbles. Through these traditional games, children can recognize patterns, numbers, geometry, measurement and data analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media Pop Up Book materi bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan model PBL untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa di kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa media Pop Up Book materi bangun datar berbasis etnomatematika menggunakan model PBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu: 1) ) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, dan 5) Evaluation. Validasi ahli media yang dilakukan pada tanggal 1 Juni 2024 dengan hasil skor 93,51%. Validasi ahli materi dilakukan tanggal 1 Juni 2024 dengan hasil skor 96,87%. Validitas RPP dilakukan tanggal 1 Juni 2024 dengan hasil skor 95,58%. Validitas observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dua pertemuan dengan hasil rata skor 3,71. Hasil angket respon guru diperoleh dengan skor 100%. Hasil angket respon siswa jumlah skor total yang diperoleh yaitu 995 dengan rata-rata 3,24. Hasil N-Gain keaktifan siswa sebesar 0,57 kategori sedang. Kata Kunci: media Pop Up Book, bangun datar, berbasis etnomatematika suku karo

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the Cultivation of Disciplinary Values of Fifth Grade Students of SDN 2 Mumbul Sari North Lombok. The subject of this research is the Cultivation of Disciplinary Values of Class V Students. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to explore deeply and thoroughly related to penomena in the field, and the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. And to check the validity of the data, researchers used time triangulation during the research process at SDN 2 Mumbul Sari North Lombok. The results showed that in instilling the values of discipline the teacher made a learning contract that was made and agreed upon between the teacher and the students. And students must be able to obey the learning contract that has been made. The teacher also invites students to make sanctions for these violations. So that teachers actively involve students in classroom organizing discipline activities. The sanctions for violations in question are doing questions on the board, giving additional assignments, summarizing lesson material singing songs in front of the class, reciting memorized lesson material in front of the class and bringing students to the teacher's room.
