Abstract

Rendahnya literasi matematis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Margomulyo 2 disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor yang saling berkaitan. Salah satu faktor utama adalah metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan cenderung fokus pada hafalan konsep daripada pemahaman mendalam dan penerapan praktis. Banyak guru yang masih menggunakan pendekatan tradisional yang berpusat pada guru, di mana siswa lebih banyak menerima informasi secara pasif tanpa dilibatkan secara aktif dalam proses berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa dengan mengintegrasikan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang biasa disebut dengan PTK. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu instrumen observasi dan instrumen tes. Hasil dari penelitian siklus 1 dengan rata-rata skor kemampuan literasi matematis siswa adalah 46,54 mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 2 menjadi 66,92. Sedangkan, persentase ketuntasan klasikal siklus 1 hanya mencapai 23,08% (13 siswa mendapat nilai ≥ 70) juga mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 2 menjadi 61,54% (21 siswa mendapat nilai ≥ 70).

Abstract

The research aims to provide a solution to the problem of low student learning outcomes in the material of Pancasila values. Classroom action research with two cycles was applied in this study. Each cycle consists of four stages namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study consisted of all 4th grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang 1 Surabaya totaling 28 students. Data was collected using test and observation techniques. The results showed that student learning outcomes improved after applying the TaRL method to Pancasila learning. Proven by the completeness of student learning in the pre-cycle reached 25%, then increased by 18% in cycle I and cycle II experienced an increase of 57%. The average score of students in the pre-cycle was 62.21, then increased to 67.07 in cycle I, and in cycle II reached 79.79. The highest score in cycle I was 90, while cycle II was 92. The lowest score obtained by students in cycle I was 46, while cycle II was 70

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid, reliable, and practical assessment instrument to measure learning independence in science learning in elementary schools. In this study, learning independence adapted by Widuroyekti which consists of 5 constructs namely free responsibility, progressive thinking, initiative, self-control, and self-establishment. The research method used is development research using the 4-D model. The subject of this research involved 40 respondents from the total number of students in class V of SD Negeri 002 and SD Negeri 011 Pasir Sialang. The data were analyzed using the SPSS version 25.00 for Windows program. The results showed that all questionnaire items were valid and reliable with an average Cronbach Alpha reliability value of (0.893>0.6), and each statement item had a value of (0.797 - 0.867) with a total construct value of 0.832. It can be concluded that the availability of an instrument that is feasible to use to measure student learning independence in science learning in elementary school that meets the requirements as a valid, reliable, and practical test. Abstract

The research used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type. The population obtained from this research were class 10 students at SMA N 3. This research used a purposive sampling technique to determine two classes as samples, class 10 K consisting of 33 students as the control class and class 10 L consisting of 36 students as the class experiment. Based on the research results that have been tested, the researcher obtained an average pretest score for the control class with a value of 45.97 with a std error value of 2,964, while the average score for the experimental class was 55.00 with a std error value of 2840. Based on the pretest results, it can be seen that knowledge the basis of the experimental class is more than the control class. Furthermore, the average post-test score for the control class was 69.35 with a std error of 1,762, while the average post-test score for the experimental class was 76.03 with a std error of 1,413. Based on the results of the post-test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that after carrying out the treatment using the Think, pair, and share teaching model, significant changes were obtained based on the results of the average between the control and experimental classes adapting to the Merdeka curriculum at SMAN 3 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research focused on the development of a learning media based on FAS (Simple Water Filtration) using banana peel waste integrated with water cycle material. The term FAS stands for simple water filtration. The objectives of this research were to develop the product, assess its feasibility, and determine the students' responses to the FAS media utilizing banana peel waste integrated with water cycle material. The research adopted the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Problems encountered in the field were identified through data collection, product development, media expert validation, material expert validation, and learning expert validation. The research subjects were 15 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through questionnaires. The development results showed the product feasibility validation scores of 78 from media experts, 80 from material experts, and 86 from learning experts, placing it in the "feasible" to "highly feasible" categories. Additionally, student response results indicated a score of 84.6, categorizing them as "highly interested" in the product. Therefore, it can be concluded that the FAS media using banana peel waste integrated with water cycle material is valid and feasible for use.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Ethnoscience-Based PJBL Model on students' critical reasoning abilities in class IV science and science subjects at Cibeureum 1 State Elementary School. The background to this research is the problem of students' lack of ability in critical reasoning in elementary schools which is still low. Therefore, a learning model is needed to improve students' critical reasoning abilities, one of which is through the Ethnoscience-Based PJBL Model. The method used in this research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental Design research design, Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The instruments used were a pre-test and post-test to determine students' critical reasoning abilities. The population in this study was all students in class IV elementary school for the 2023-2024 academic year, totaling 45 students. The samples were class IV A students as the control class, totaling 22 students and class IV B as the experimental class, totaling 23 students. The data analysis techniques of this research are Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Hypothesis Test. Thus, this research can be concluded that the application of the Ethnoscience-Based PJBL Model has an effect on the critical reasoning abilities of class IV students at Cibeureum 1 State Elementary School. So this research is expected to be able to improve students' critical reasoning abilities in grade IV science learning at Cibeureum 1 State Elementary School.

Abstract

This research is motivated by behavioral factors that have a major influence on the health status of individuals and the community, a high level of education helps increase public knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of public health services, a low level of education will generally give up if they experience health problems. Health behavior can be formulated as all forms of experience and interaction between individuals and their environment, especially those concerning knowledge and attitudes about health, as well as their actions related to health. This study aims to determine the Influence of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Actions on the Community in Choosing Health Services in Kataping Village, Padang Pariaman Regency. In this study, the theory used is the theory of social action proposed by Max Weber. This theory provides a basis for understanding individual and group behavior, recognizing that every action is based on diverse motives and goals. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, involving data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to 99 respondents who are members of the community in choosing health services in Kanagarian Kataping, Padang Pariaman Regency. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between knowledge, attitudes, and actions on community behavior in choosing health services in Kanagarian Kataping, Padang Pariaman Regency. This is evidenced by the results of the T test of 0.002 while the significance of t> 0.05 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between knowledge, attitudes, and actions on the community in choosing health services. so that in the service, the level of knowledge of the choice of treatment methods carried out by the community in Kanagarian Katapiang, Padang Pariaman Regency is very influential.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews that students experience difficulties in understanding the five senses material because learning activities are still monotonous, and the use of learning media that uses technology is not yet optimal. Teachers are still focused on print media such as books during the learning process. To provide this solution, researchers developed Android-based educational game learning media that can be accessed by teachers and students at any time.This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model is ADDIE. The stages are 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are obtained from the results of expert validity tests, teacher and student practicality tests, as well as effectiveness tests obtained from student post-test results. The validity results from material experts obtained a score of 86% and the validity results of the Android-Based Educational Game Learning media from media experts obtained a score of 92.3% in the very valid/suitable for use category. For the practicality test the teacher got a score of 96% and the students 98.5% in the very practical category, and for the effectiveness test in the broad test they got a score of 95% in the very effective category.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyze the feasibility of teaching materials based on local wisdom in the province of North Sumatra, (2) analyze the practicality of teaching materials based on local wisdom in the province of North Sumatra for class teachers and (3) analyze student responses to teaching materials based on local wisdom in the province of Sumatra developed north. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model. This research used five stages. (1) analysis stage, namely curriculum analysis and material analysis, (2) design stage, namely designing products that suit needs. (3) development stage. (4) implementation stage, and (5) evaluation stage. writing teaching materials that are appropriate to the material. The subjects in this research were expert validators of teaching materials, class teachers and students. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of data analysis obtained through the expert validation test of teaching materials I, 88% was obtained in the "very feasible/very valid" category. Meanwhile, expert validation of teaching materials II obtained a percentage of 91%, including the "very feasible/very valid" category. through the implementation stage, an assessment was carried out on teacher practitioners who obtained results from data analysis of 92%, including the category "very practical/very feasible" and also researchers obtained assessments carried out by students, based on the results of data analysis, student responses obtained a percentage of 91%, including the category "very good " is used to increase students' insight into information about the local wisdom of North Sumatra province. In this way, students will be prouder of their respective regions and can also achieve their homeland.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model assisted by video media on students' learning motivation and science problem solving abilities. The type of research used was quasi experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class IV students at the Gugus 3 school, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency and the sample was class IV students at SDI Parangrea and SDI Pakingkingan, totaling 43 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires to determine students' science learning motivation and tests to determine students' science problem solving abilities. The collected data was analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistical data analysis show that the average score for science learning motivation for the experimental class is 92.83 and for the control class is 51.85. Meanwhile, the average score for science problem solving ability in the experimental class was 86.09 and for the control class was 52.50. Meanwhile, the results of inferential statistical data analysis show that the sig. on learning motivation is 0.000 < 0.05 with a t-count > t-table value, namely 27.670 > 1.681, and the MANOVA test shows a sig. 0.001 < 0.05. Sig value. The problem solving ability is 0.000 < 0.05 with a t-count > t-table value of 9.179 > 1.681. This means that there is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by video media on learning motivation and science problem solving abilities in Class IV Cluster 3 Students, District. Bajeng, Gowa Regency
