Abstract

Evaluation of wordwall-based learning on plant body parts material in elementary schools for class iv students at kartika xi-8 cibinong private elementary school. this research method uses the research and development (r&d) method with the addie (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) development model. this research involved 28 students and in the process of validation and trial evaluation of the learning that had been developed. validation was carried out by three experts, namely media experts, linguists and material experts, with media expert validation results of 96%, linguist validation results of 100%, and material expert validation results of 96%, with an average result of 97.3% which is included in the "very eligible" criteria. the trial results showed an average score of 91.4% of the students. from these results, it can be concluded that the learning evaluation developed is very effective and practical for use in measuring students understanding of the plant body parts material.

Abstract

The researcher aims to develop HOTS test instruments that can evoke the problem-solving process in mathematics subjects on the material of the properties of flat shapes. The method used in this research is the development research method (R&D) which is a process or steps to develop a new product or improve existing products. This research uses quantitative question analysis. Quantitative question analysis with validity test according to 3 experts on mathematics cognitive ability test using Aiken formula test. Furthermore, the interrater reliability test was carried out on the question using the Ebel formula (1951), the formula given by Ebel was used to estimate the reliability of the assessment results of k assessors on n subjects, followed by analysis of the test items to determine the level of difficulty of the items, differentiating power, and the effectiveness of the checkers with the formula. Then the empirical validation test is carried out by calculating the correlation coefficient between the total score of the question and the score of each item. The formula used to calculate this correlation is shown by the product moment correlation formula. Furthermore, it is tested with reliability with the Cronbach's Alpha formula. Cronbach's Alpha is a measure of reliability that has a value ranging from zero to one the results of expert theoretical validation of the mathematics cognitive ability test obtained a score of 0.87 including in the good category, while the Interrater reliability test results show a score of 0.53 which is interpreted as a moderate coefficient. calculation of the level of difficulty there are four questions in the medium category, ten questions are in the high category one question is in the high category. The results of empirical validity calculate reliability using the Cronbach Alpha formula obtained a number 0.91 interpreted according to Guilford the value of r = 0.91 including very high criteria.

Abstract

This research discusses the rhetoric of da'wah practiced by Habib Jafar on TikTok. The study is motivated by the evolving times, which have made da'wah media more contemporary. One such contemporary medium, currently popular among young generations including students, is TikTok. Additionally, one of the prominent da'ees watched by this young audience is Habib Jafar. Based on this background, the research objectives are to understand the rhetoric of Habib Jafar on TikTok and to assess the response of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting students to Habib Jafar's da'wah rhetoric on TikTok. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data sources are obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis and description of the data use Aristotle's rhetorical theory, which includes ethos, logos, and pathos. The findings indicate that Habib Jafar's rhetoric can be explained by applying Aristotle's three rhetorical elements: ethos, pathos, and logos. In terms of ethos, he gains credibility as a trusted and respected source, as evidenced by the positive responses in the comments section of the observed videos. In the aspect of pathos, the emotional appeal of his da'wah is reflected through the intonation, tone, and language used. Meanwhile, in terms of logos, Habib Jafar employs logic by structuring his statements in an easily understandable manner and relating his da'wah messages to everyday life. The response from Communication and Islamic Broadcasting students from the 2019 cohort to Habib Jafar's da'wah rhetoric on TikTok is positive. This includes the ease of understanding his messages due to the clear and everyday language used, the moderate tone of intonation, relevance to current social contexts, and the credibility of the source. Abstract

The learning of Pancasila education is often considered uninteresting due to the less challenging material and the less engaging teaching methods and media. However, it is urgent to shape the character of students who possess morals and love for their homeland. This research aims to describe and explain how using Google Sites websites as a learning medium can foster students' interest in studying Pancasila Education in class XI.3 at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. In this study, the methods used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results indicate that the students of class XI.3 at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang are facing issues in the learning of Pancasila education, specifically that the students need higher concentration and also need more interest in studying. The solution used by the researchers to address this issue is conducting experiments using Google Sites as a medium in the learning process. Using that media has been proven to enhance student's learning motivation, as evidenced by observations of students' attitudes during lessons and the results of questionnaires given to students after the Pancasila Education class in the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The use of technology in education is increasingly necessary to meet the learning needs of the 21st century. This study aims to identify the need for developing NearPod as interactive multimedia in teaching the human respiratory system to fifth-grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative method with a population consisting of teachers and fifth-grade students at SDN Munjul II. The research sample includes 24 teachers and 25 students selected using purposive sampling to ensure proper representation of the target population. Data collection was conducted through media needs questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results indicate that both teachers and students agree on the importance of developing interactive multimedia to facilitate a more engaging and effective learning process. Most teachers struggle to teach the human respiratory system due to the complexity of the concepts, which are difficult for students to understand. Students face challenges in understanding the material because of the limitations of the available learning media, particularly in visualizing the respiratory process, which cannot be directly observed. This study confirms that the need to develop NearPod is based on the necessity of making the learning process more interactive, with visual elements added to help students grasp abstract concepts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students who have not memorized letters, and distinguishing between letters that have the same shape, students still have difficulty spelling letters and are also less fluent in reading. The aim of this research is to produce picture word card learning media that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stage ( evaluation). The results of the validity of the picture word card media were validated by 3 validators, namely material expert validation obtained a result of 92.5% categorized as very valid, language expert validation obtained a result of 93.75% categorized as very valid, media expert validation obtained a result of 90% categorized as very valid, validation The teaching module obtained a result of 93.33% categorized as very valid, validation of the teaching module by the teacher obtained a result of 100% categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality of the picture word card media through the teacher response questionnaire by class 1 teachers obtained a result of 100% categorized as very practical, while through the student response questionnaire an average result of 96.27% was categorized as very practical. The effectiveness results obtained from the learning test results of primary school students obtained an average of 89.47%, categorized as very effective.

Abstract

Salma, 2024 “Investigate the Role of Teacher-Student Interaction in Fostering Critical Thinking Skills at Smp Islam Ar-Raafi’”. A thesis of English Education Department Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. (Supervised by Ika Sastrawati and Hijrah). The study aims to find out whether the interaction between teachers and students can stimulate the student's critical thinking. This study examines the interaction between teachers and students. The subjects of the study were one English teacher and five students of SMP Islam Ar-Raafi’ Makassar who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. This method of research is qualitative research with phenomena experienced by the subject of research, for example interactions, learning materials, etc. This research data is collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. This research is expected to benefit teachers and students in interacting in the classroom. In this case, teachers are asked to build interaction with students by increasing communication to students. With the interaction between teachers and students, students can exchange views, express opinions, analyze, and evaluate the materials studied, which of course can encourage the critical thinking of students. It can be concluded that the role of interaction among teacher and students is very important in fostering the student's ctirical thinking skills.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca teks deskripsi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sidosermo 1 Surabaya, dengan penerapan model belajar kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS). Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sidosermo 1 Surabaya dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 orang yang terbagi atas 12 orang laki-laki dan 14 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dokumentasi dan tes. Penelitian menggunakan tekhnik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data dapat diketahui hasil presentasi ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 41,67% dengan kategori sangat kurang, kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 58,33%. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan ke-3 diketahui presentase ketuntasan siswa sebesar 83% dengan kategori baik, kemudian pada siklus II pertemuan terakhir nilai presentase mencapai 91,66%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca teks deskripsi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sidosermo 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze creative and innovative strategies and media in teaching Aqidah Akhlak in Madrasas. This research uses a type of library research. Research Results: Aqidah Akhlak learning strategies can be in the form of: 1) Direct Learning Strategies (direct instruction), 2) Indirect Learning Strategies (indirect instruction), 3) Interactive Learning Strategies (interactive instruction), 4) Learning Strategies through Experience (experiential learning ), 5) Independent Learning Strategy. Meanwhile, creative and innovative media takes the form of: 1) Print media, which can be in the form of textbooks, worksheets, or modules that can be used by teachers and students. 2) Audio media is implemented, for example at the MI level in phase B (Class 3) which can use audio in the form of sound speakers related to Asmaul Husna material, so that students can listen carefully and memorize it easily. 3) Visual Media can be applied in Phase D (Class VII) of MTS, such as the material "Manners of Social Media from an Islamic View". Abstract

This research aims to complete the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 06 Lubuklinggau using the STAD type cooperative learning model with the help of the wordwall application in social studies lessons. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental method, the design used is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The place and time of the research was carried out at SD Negeri 06 Lubuklinggau, West Lubuklinggau I District, Lubuklinggau City with the research time in the even semester. The research population was 27 class IV students at SD Negeri 06 Lubuklinggau, the research sample used a total sampling technique. Pre-test and post-test data collection techniques using 7 descriptive questions. From the results of data analysis using the Z test with a significant level of α = 0.05, it was found that Zcount ˃ Ztabel (6.31 ˃ 1.64), so it can be concluded that there are social studies learning outcomes for class IV students at SD Negeri 06 Lubuklinggau by implementing the cooperative learning model STAD type with the help of the wordwall application.
