This research aims to determine the correlation between pencak silat activities and students' quality of life. The method used is descriptive-quantitative with a correlational approach and a one-shot case study design. The sample was drawn from the population as a whole, using a saturated sample of 27 students with an age of 18 years, a weight of 56 kg, and a height of 162 cm. The instrument was adopted by WHOQOL BREF. Based on the results of calculations and data analysis of the four indicators, it is proven that they are very strongly correlated, because the results show that students have good psychological health with a correlation value of 0.853 and physical health with a correlation value of 0.715.

Football is a sport that is growing rapidly and is popular throughout the world, both in society, schools and workplaces as evidenced by the growing number of football clubs. The basic skills of playing soccer are very important to apply in improving the ability to play soccer. One of the basic skills in football is passing ability which can be improved with Small Sided Games and Wall Pass exercises. This study aims to determine the significant effect of Small Sided Games and Wall Pass exercises on Passing ability in football games aged 15-17 years SBB Putra Sampatao Sei Mangkei Simalungun Regency in 1011. This research is an experimental study with a pretest and posttest design one group design. The sample in the study was 11 SSB Putra Sampatao Sei Mangkei athletes aged 15-17 years. After the pretest was carried out, the sample was then given small sided games and wall pass exercises for 18 meetings (6 weeks). The data analysis technique in this study used the t test. Based on the results of statistical tests using the t-test with a significant level (α = 0.05) between the pre-test and post-test of passing ability, the value of tcount 10.141 > ttable 1.811 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of small sided games and wall pass exercises on passing ability in soccer games aged 15-17 years SSB Putra Sampatao Sei Mangkei Simalungun Regency in 1011.

Abstract

Knee Osteoarthritis (KOA) is one of the leading causes of limitations in performing activities that impact in impaired knee function and mobility, necessitating physiotherapy intervention. Advancements in current technology have made it possible to receive treatment without the need for in-person meetings. This study aims to assess the feasibility of telehealth physiotherapy in improving knee function in OA patients. The design of study is Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis, with study sources obtained from Scopus, ProQuest, and PubMed databases using keywords based on the PICO framework. Data analysis was performed using Review Manager. The study identified a total of 1.726 articles, with a final screening resulting in 5 articles that were further examined. Each study had a Randomized Control Trials (RCT) research design and was oriented towards comparing telehealth with face-to-face interventions. Telerehabilitation did not show significant changes due to various factors, including the study's duration, physiotherapist supervision, patient motivation and adherence, as well as the comprehensiveness of exercise instructions.

The research method used is an experimental method. The population in this study amounted to 40 people. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The number of athlete samples used was 20 people. This study was carried out for 8 weeks with a frequency of exercise 5 times each week. From the calculation of data and hypotheses, namely the contribution of Flexibility and Strength training to the results of Mawashi Geri's Kick in male athletes of Dojo Kodim 0212 TS Kota Padangsidimpuan, shows that there is a significant contribution together between Flexibility and Strength training to the results of Mawashi Geri Kick in male athletes of Dojo Kodim 0212 TS Kota Padangsidimpuan. This illustrates that Flexibility and Strength training contributed to Mawashi Geri's kick results due to monitoring from the coach with the improvement in physical condition so that the calculation of data for the third hypothesis of the concurrent contribution of Flexibility and Strength training to Mawshi Geri's kick results was a significant contribution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ladder drill training on novice male badminton athletes at U 12-13 Club PB Pusri Palembang. The method used in this research is experimental, which means a sample is given a treatment. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This sampling technique used total population sampling with a sample size of 30 athletes. The instrument of this research is agility. From the results of data processing and analysis using the data normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test using the T test formula, the results were that ladder drill training alone increased agility abilities in novice male badminton athletes. This can be seen from the results of data analysis through calculating the t test formula with the calculated t criterion being greater than ttable (14.730 ˃ 1.70) with a confidence level of 0.95 (α = 0.05) and the number of samples (N = 30). The implications of ladder drill training can have an influence on increasing agility in novice male badminton athletes U 12-13 Club PB Pusri Palembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview and determine the feasibility of the physical fitness training model. This research uses the ADDIE model R&D research method which is planned for 2 months, from April 10 to June 10 2023. The design of this physical fitness training model consists of several training components, namely strength, endurance and speed. The sample in this study was a test of the effectiveness of the Independent High School Bimbel as many as 34 prospective students. The pre-test average score was 62.38 and the post-test average score after being given the physical fitness training model was 76.71, which means that there was an increase in the results from the pretest to the post-test. In the mean difference test with SPSS, mean = -14.324 indicates the difference between the pre-test and post-test, t-count results = -31.537, df = 33 and p-value = 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a difference significant difference between before and after being given the treatment of physical fitness training models. So it can be concluded that the physical fitness training model for prospective TNI and POLRI students is effective for use in fitness training.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a training model for basic hammer throwing techniques at the age of 13-15 years and determine the effectiveness of the training model that has been developed. The problem that is the basis for conducting this research is that several literatures have not found a hammer throwing training model for 13-15 year olds in DKI Jakarta Province using an e-book basis. The method used in this research is Borg and Gall research and development through 10 development steps. Participants involved in the small group test were 15 athletes in DKI Jakarta Province and in the large group test 32 athletes. Then the participants involved in testing the effectiveness of the model were 32 athletes who were divided into 2, namely 16 athletes in the control group and 16 athletes in the experimental group. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score (%) test calculation, it shows that the average value of the N-Gain Score for the experimental group is 81.4321 or 81.43%, which is included in the effective category. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain Score for the control group was 34.88 or 34.88%, which was included in the Ineffective category. From the results of these calculations it can be seen that the use of the training model in the experimental group was effective in improving basic hammer throwing technique skills.
