Abstract

This study carried out an in-depth analysis of two popular physical training programs: continuous running and interval training. The research method involved a number of statistical tests, including checking the normality of data distribution, uniformity analysis, and independent T tests. Participants from both training programs were used to gain a more detailed understanding of the nature of each program and comparisons of performance between the two. The analysis results show that continuous running approaches a normal data distribution, indicating data stability and consistency. Meanwhile, the finding that performance variability was similar across the two programs led to new insights into the consistency of performance within the groups. The main finding was the superiority of continuous running in performance gains, with average scores consistently higher than interval training. This indicates the potential of continuous running in increasing physical capacity and endurance. The practical implications are relevant for the design of exercise programs, providing guidance for coaches and individuals seeking improved physical performance. Although the results show the superiority of continuous running, interval training may require adapting strategies to achieve better results. This research also opens up opportunities for further research, especially in understanding the factors that influence achievement in these two training programs. Further exploration of variations in training duration, intensity and frequency in the context of both could provide new insights into the world of fitness and sport. These findings provide a strong empirical basis for decisions regarding physical exercise programs, support data-driven decision making, and provide insight into scientific approaches in guiding more effective and efficient physical exercise practices.

Abstract

IPSI defined that, "Pencak silat is the result of Indonesian culture to defend, maintain existence ( independence), and integration (unity) with the living environment or natural surroundings in order to achieve harmony in life, in order to increase one's faith and piety to God Almighty." In the athlete's performance, the jury referee makes an assessment where there are several points that the jury will assess, namely the sequence of movements, correctness of movement details, stance technique. If the performance exceeds the tolerance time limit given, a penalty will be imposed (a reduction of 10 points) and the participant will be disqualified if he cannot continue the performance due to his mistake. Researchers used two research methods to see a comparison of the results of the training methods that had been carried out. So the title of this research is "The Influence of Block Practice and Random Practice Training Methods on Mastery of the Movement Series of Pencak Silat Team Moves in Cirebon City".The experimental method is a research design that refers to the problem at hand, and looks at the cause and effect of a treatmentthat "the aim of an experiment is to investigate whether or not there is a cause-and-effect relationship. cause-and-effect relationship by administering certain treatments to several experimental groups and providing controls for comparison.” In this research, the method used will be to test (validate) one or more research variables against other variables. In this research design, researchers used 2 groups, where 1 group would be given random practice treatment and 1 group would be given block practice treatment.

Abstract

Thelack of learning to pass down is a problem that must be considered because if you are not skilled in passing down, most likely the goal of the volleyball game will not be achieved optimally and maximally. It is a challenge for the school and researchers to discover the factors that cause the lack of bottom-passing learning in the volleyball game. Based on the research hypothesis, this type of research is a quasi-experimental research consisting of two research groups: the group with the reciprocal learning model and the group with the inclusion learning model. This study aimed to obtain an overview of the improvement of volleyball bottom passing learning outcomes. In this study, the reciprocal learning model group (Group A) and the inclusion learning model group (Group B) Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the results were accepted or proven. The truth of the effects of hypothesis testing is also supported by research data using the t-test, which shows a calculated value greater than t-kritik (2.90 1.71). Thus, the hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that the average increase in mastery of learning with the reciprocal method is higher than the inclusion learning method. The reciprocal method significantly affects the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing. The inclusion method substantially affects the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing. There are differences in reciprocal methods and inclusion methods on volleyball bottom passing learning outcomes, and reciprocal methods are more effectively used in volleyball bottom passing learning games.

Abstract

Quality of Life (QoL) is a crucial aspect of an individual's well-being, and Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative disease that significantly impacts QoL. OA patients experience functional impairment, leading to difficulty and pain in activities such as standing, squatting, walking, and climbing stairs. Land-based exercise is a non-pharmacological intervention recommended for long-term knee pain, as it can improve muscle strength, relieve pain, and improve function. However, excessive exercise can worsen pain. This systematic review evaluates literature on land-based exercise interventions that show significant effects on QoL and decrease in knee pain for patients with knee OA. The review includes six publications with randomized controlled trials and experimental studies that examined the impact of land-based exercise on knee OA. The review focuses on exercises such as yoga, strengthening exercises, Tai Ji, and Wuxinqi Exercise. The review finds that land-based exercise has a positive impact on physical function, pain reduction, and quality of life for patients with knee OA. Three publications with yoga and Wuxinqi Exercise showed significant results in pain management, increasing knee strength, and reducing pain in knee OA patients. The review concludes that land-based exercise is an appropriate intervention for people with knee OA related to pain and functional impairment.
