Abstract

This research is based on problems found by researchers, namely the unavailability of teaching materials that are in accordance with the curriculum used and the existing teaching materials do not fully meet the needs of students. This research aims to develop a physical education, sports and health (PJOK) learning module based on a picture guessing game. This research and development uses a model from Robert Maribe Branch. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire given to three experts, namely media experts who scored 76% in the "decent" category, material experts who got a score of 91% in the "very decent" category, and language experts who got a score of 93% in the "very decent" category. and also given to educators who obtained a score of 96% in the "very appropriate" category, as well as small-scale students who obtained a score of 96% and large-scale questionnaire responses 95.6% in the "very appropriate" category. The post test results of small scale students obtained an average score of 90 and the post test results of large scale students obtained an average score of 89. Thus the product developed is feasible and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The phenomenon that is still found in junior high schools in the city of Jayapura is the lack of literature on basic volleyball movement skill training models. So a structured training model is needed in learning. This research is a type of model development research or what is often known as  Research and Development (R&D). The characteristic of this research is that it focuses on service learning and focuses on the basic motion components of the service itself. The effectiveness test in this research uses the t-test, which measures service skills before and after being given this service learning model. The approach used is a quantitative approach, namely measuring volleyball service skills with a research plan in the form of the one group pretest-posttest design. The data obtained is based on the average of the 947 pretest scores. This is the score obtained before being given training using the model created. After the initial test was carried out, the application of the model was carried out using a training program that was created so that after being tested again, its serviceability obtained a post-test score of 1331. Based on the results of field trials and discussion of research results, several conclusions were obtained, namely: 1. There are 18 (Eighteen) Volleyball Serving Skill Training Models for Beginner Athletes of Middle School Age. 2. The developed Volleyball Serving Ability Training Model can improve volleyball Serving ability efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

MTP's in the Upper Trapezius muscle is a condition where there is a pain point along the trapezius muscle which contains a collection of symptoms and complaints due to spasm or shortening of the trapezius muscle which is often felt as a stiff neck or nape, various manual therapy modalities are expected to be able to overcome this complaint. This study uses a quantitative approach with non-parametric test statistics. This study is a quasi-experimental case study with a treatment group without a control group with 10 research subjects who experienced MTP's in the Upper Trapezius muscle given manual therapy actions consisting of C0-C1; C2-C6; C7-T1 traction and stretching the upper Trapezius muscle, Friction sub occipitalis muscle. The parameters observed were pain in motion and joint range of motion. The action was given 3 times for two weeks, respondents will be examined before and after the 3rd therapy. There was a decrease in pain and LGS after manual therapy intervention was given with a significance value (p 0.001) in the influence test using the Willcoxon Test. From the results of this study, it was found that there is an influence of manual therapy on the MTP's Upper Trapezius muscle which can reduce patient symptoms and complaints.
