Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between reading comprehension and learning outcomes of 4th grade students at SDN 71 Bengkulu. The type of research used in this study is quantitative correlationonal. The population in this study is all 4th grade students of SD Negeri 71 Bengkulu with sampling techniques, namely total samples. The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. Tests are instrumens for measure reading comprehension and documentation is to collect data on students' learning outcomes. The analysis techniques used are descriptive static analysis and hypothesis testing using the pearson product moment correlation formula. The result of correlation calculation shows a positive correlation coefficient of 0.528 and rtable at a significance level of 5% is 0.219. So, rcalculates>rtable, i.e.  0.528 > 0.219, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. R Square test is conducted to find out the contribution of variable x to variable y. The result from the R Square test showed that the coefficient of determination was 27.9%. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the reading comprehension and the learning outcomes of 4th grade students of SD Negeri 71 Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting on the responsible attitude of fifth graders in online learning at SDN Gugus II Bengkulu City. This type of quantitative research with comparative causal research method. The research population was all students of class V SDN Cluster II Bengkulu City, which amounted to 114 students. The sample in this study was 29 students from 114 populations. The data collection technique used a parenting style questionnaire consisting of 35 items and a student responsibility attitude questionnaire consisting of 27 items. The data analysis technique in this study used simple linear regression. The results showed that the value of tcount > ttable (3.731 > 2.056) with a significance level of = 0.05 (0.001> 0.05) and a large contribution of 34%. Furthermore, the results of the research on each aspect, namely, (1) authoritarian parenting pattern obtained t count 3.483 > 2.056 with a significance level of 0.002 < 0.05 and the amount of the contribution of 31%. (2) the results of the calculation of democratic parenting obtained tcount 4.133 > 2.056 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 and the amount of contribution 38.7% (3) the results of the calculation of democratic parenting obtained tcount of 1.080 < 2.056 with a contribution of 3.8 % with a significance level of 0.308 > 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of parenting styles on students' responsible attitudes and there is also an influence of parenting styles on aspects of authoritarian and democratic parenting on students' responsible attitudes, while permissive parenting has no effect on responsible attitudes. Keywords: Parenting Styles, Responsibility Attitude, online learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis butir soal pada ujian akhir PKn kelas II di sekolah negeri Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas akhir semester 2 di sekolah kelas tema 4 dengan tidak lebih dari isi pelajaran home-room. Populasi yang akan diteliti 92 eksemplar. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel tentang ujian akhir semester ganjil kelas 2. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah mencari validitas, kemampuan religi, tingkat kesukaran, variabilitas, dan integrasi tingkat kognitif. Semua data Angka dimasukkan ke dalam aplikasi v4 anates dan kemudian hasilnya dianalisa. Hasil penelitian (1) pada validitas 19 soal (67,86%) dinyatakan valid dan sebanyak 9 soal (32,14%) dinyatakan tidak valid. (2) kemampuan keagamaan yang diperoleh pada analisis ini sebesar 0,67 dari anggaran dasar indeks agama 0-1. (3) tingkat kesulitan meliputi 4 soal (14,29%) kategori sulit, (3) tingkat kesulitan memuat 4 soal (14,29%) kategori sulit, 18 soal (64,28%) soal kecil, 4 soal (14,29%) soal mudah, 2 soal (7,14%) soal mudah, dan tidak ada soal dalam kategori berat. (4) standar dapat 7 masalah (25%) buruk (buruk), 6 masalah (21,43%) cukup berani (memuaskan), 12 masalah (42,86%) baik (baik), 2 masalah (7,14%) sangat baik (sangat baik), dan 1 masalah (3,57%) buruk (negatif). (5) distribusi tingkat kognitif terintegrasi dengan agen afektif, ada 9 masalah (32,14%) dengan tingkat kognitif c1, dan 19 masalah (67,86%) dengan tingkat kognitif c2. Terkait dengan masalah afektif (sikap) sebanyak 9 masalah (32,14%) pada a1 dan 6 masalah (21,43%) pada 2. Berdasarkan penelitian dikatakan cukup baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the PBL model assisted by media powerpoint and improve student learning of thematic learning for class IV SDN 171 Rejang Lebong. This research is a Classroom Action Research. Subjects in the study were 18 students, with 9 males and 9 females. Data collection techniques using observation and test techniques. The research instrument was an observation sheet and a test sheet. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative techniques. In the PBL model there is a syntax in the form of student orientation to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual/group experiences, developing and presenting work, analyzing and evaluating problem solving processes. In each syntax the teacher has implemented it well and there is an increase in student learning outcomes. In the cognitive aspect of the first cycle, Indonesian subjects obtained an average of 69.72 classical learning completeness of 61.11% and increased in the second cycle with an average of 77.5 classical learning completeness of 83.33%. Science subjects in the first cycle obtained an average of 67.77 with classical learning completeness 55.55%, increased in the second cycle with an average acquisition of 78.33 classical learning completeness 88.88%. The affective aspect of the first cycle obtained a class average of 4.91 with a sufficient category, increased in the second cycle by obtaining a class average of 5.88 in a good category. Psychomotor aspect in the first cycle the average grade obtained by 5 with enough categories, increased in the second cycle to obtain an average grade of 5.86 for both categories. Hence, the implementation of PBL model using powerpoint media enhanced the 4th grade students’ learning outcomes of SDN 171 Rejang Lebong.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe motion creativity in extracurricular dance art themed environmental care life in fourth and fifth grades SDN 80 Lemeu Pit Lebong District. It applied of qualitative method used taxonomic approach. The respondents were the fourth and the fifth grade students who followed extracurriculer dance art at SDN 80 Lemeu Pit Lebong District. The instruments of the researched were interview giudelines and observation guidelines. The data were collected by interviewed, observation, and documentation during the process of extracurricular dance art. The data analysis technique using the spradley model, was taxonomic analysis. The data validition test were increased persistence, triangulation, and membercheck. The result of the research showed that the process of creativity in created motion in extracurricular dance art arised through the exploration, improvisation, evaluation, and formation phase. Conclusion of the research was the students could be creatived in created dance motion themed environmental care life.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at State Elementary School 4 Bengkulu City which includes 1) Online learning planning; 2) Implementation of online learning; and 3) Assessment of learning outcomes during online learning. This study is an evaluative assessment using the Discrepancy Model. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers and students. Quantitative data was obtained from the results of the observation sheet score and qualitative data obtained from the results of the Observation Sheet, Interview, and Documentation. The data analysis technique used is data analysis according to Miles and Hubernan and observational data analysis using the formula for the average score, the highest score, the lowest score, the difference in scores and the range of values for each criterion. The results show that the average evaluation 1) Online learning planning gets a score of 3.2 with a sufficient category 2) The implementation of online learning gets an average score of 3 with a sufficient category 3) Assessment of learning outcomes during online learning gets an average score 3 with sufficient category. The overall evaluation results show an average score of 3.0 with a sufficient category. In planning aspects that are in accordance with Circular Letter Number 15 of 2020 are preparing lesson plans, learning media, learning methods, and learning resources. Furthermore, the implementation of learning aspects that are in accordance with Circular Letter Number 15 of 2020 are greetings, checking student attendance, giving assignments, feedback, and reports, and reminding students and parents to collect. Then, the assessment of online learning outcomes that are in accordance with Circular Letter Number 15 of 2020 are the summative and formative assessment aspects. Thus, the application of online learning at the Bengkulu City 4 State Elementary School has met the sufficient criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics teaching materials using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to foster mathematical literacy skills in fourth grade elementary school students that are feasible and effective to use. This research method is the Research and Development (R&D) method the modifed 4D model. However, this research is only at the development stage, because the COVID-19 situation has not improved. Validation is carried out by material, design, and linguist experts. The teaching materials developed were graded by 3 teachers of elementary school in north Bengkulu and tested on a limited basis in 2 elementary schools. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of expert validation were tested with an interrater reliability test to see the agreement between raters. This research produces RME-based mathematics teaching materials to foster mathematical literacy skills on the circumference and area of flat shapes in fourth grade elementary school students. The results of the validation of material experts get the score of 88.9 in the very good category, linguists get the score of 87.7 in the very good category, design experts get the score of 86.6 in the very good category, and get comments that the depth of the description is in accordance with the level of student development, the language used is communicative, fosters a sense of fun and stimulates students to answer questions, the overall illustrations and letters used are simple, harmonious and attractive. The teacher's response got an average score of 91.3 with a very good category. The results of the limited trial got an average score of 87.7 with a very good category. The product of developing mathematics teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education to foster mathematical literacy skills is very good for use by fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics teaching materials using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to train the mathematical connection skills to fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research by modifying the ADDIE model. This research was only carried out at the development stage, while the implementation and evaluation stages could not be carried out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Validation is carried out by material, linguists and product design experts. The teaching materials developed were graded and responded by 3 teachers from public elementary schools in North Bengkulu. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis on the results of expert validation assessments and teacher responses and qualitative descriptive analysis on comments from expert validation and teacher responses. This research produces a product of teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) to train students' mathematical connection skills in the material of measuring angles in grade IV Elementary School. This research produces teaching material products with an average material expert validation assessment of 90 with a very good category, an average linguist validation of 88.88 in a very good category, an average product design expert validation of 96.67 with a very good category. good, and get a response that the depth of the material description uses a real context according to the level of student development, in terms of the language in the teaching materials according to the level of development of the student's age, the overall illustrations and letters used are simple (communicative), harmonious and create an attraction for students to learn RME based math module. The teacher's response got an average score of 90.67 with a very good category. So it can be concluded that the product of developing mathematics teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Education is very good to be used by fourth grade elementary school students.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Development, Realistic Mathematics Education, Mathematics connection.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the process of making and the results of paper quilling artworks containing illustrated stories in learning of Cultural Arts and Crafts class V SD Negeri 092 Bengkulu Utara. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, with participant observation techniques. The subjects of this study were all students of class V SD Negeri 092 Bengkulu Utara, totally 14 students, 9 female and 5 male. The research instrument used was the human instrument, by using interview, observation, and documentation guidelines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The validity of the data used triangulation techniques. The results of the research are (1) the process of making paper quilling artwork by using tools and materials such as glue, scissors, quilling paper rolls, quilling paper, and picture paper. Followed by rolling the quilling paper, applying glue to the rolled paper, forming the roll as desired, attaching the paper quilling roll to the picture paper, making a picture story and finally delivering the story. (2) the work of paper quilling made by students contains the principles of art, namely the principles of unity, rhythm, balance, proportion, emphasis, and harmony.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs of development thematic learning device based on sumputan game for earthquake awareness and preparedness in elementary state school in Bengkulu city.  This research is a form of research and development (R&D) using ADDIE model, which involves analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation. The needs of analysis in this research has been done based on student needs, characterized analysis and also curriculum analysis. For the result from this research taken from used analysis were “daerah tempat tinggalku” (my hometown) the sub-theme development “kehidupan alam disekitar tempat tinggalku ( the natural resources in my hometown) the indicators development and the development of learning purposes. The result of needs analysis shows that thematic learning device based on sumputan game for earthquake awareness and preparedness could be expanded.Keywords: Analyze, Development, Learning device,  Sumputan, Earthquake.
