Abstract

This research aims to describe the thematic learning process containing cultural arts and crafts material for Serawai regional songs as an effort to instill appreciation of local culture in the fourth grade In SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan and describe the form of student appreciation during thematic learning containing cultural arts and crafts material for Serawai regional songs as an effort to inculcate local cultural appreciation in the fourth grade SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive study method. The research subjects were classroom teachers and fourth grade students at SD Negeri 49 Bengkulu Selatan. The research instrument used observation guidelines, interview guidelines, questionnaire sheets and documentation studies. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification.The results of this study are: 1). The process of learning local songs has been going well. Learning local songs can instill student appreciation. Students become aware of the title of local songs, students have knowledge of how to sing local songs, students can sing local songs, students can interpret the lyrics of local songs. 2) The form of student appreciation when learning local songs is in the good category. Students can assess the appearance of friends who are singing folk songs in front of the class, students observe the appearance of friends and can explain the appearance of other friends in singing local songs, and so on. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the thematic learning with cultural arts and crafts content for the Serawai regional song material effectively and efficiently helped students to be actively involved in learning.

Abstract

This research intentionally aimed to describe the thinking level of questions of National Standard School Examination (USBN) in Mathematics for SD/MI students in Bengkulu City in 2020/2021 school year. This research was designed in qualitative form with descriptive method. The subjects of the research were the sixth grade elementary students in Bengkulu City. The object of the research was distribution of question categories (thinking levels) in terms of LOTS, MOTS, and HOTS in USBN items for Mathematics at SDN 19 Bengkulu City in 2020/2021 school year. The research instrument applied was documentation of question form of USBN items for Mathematics at SDN 19 Bengkulu City in 2020/2021 school year. In this study, the data were analyzed using categories of thinking levels in terms of LOTS, MOTS, and HOTS; then calculated percentages of the occurrences. To analyze of the questions, the study used the calculation of the percentage (%) of indicators from each question criterion = Numbers of LOTS/MOTS/HOTS items : Total numbers of Mathematics student competensi items x 100%. The findings evidently revealed that there were three percentages of cognitive level: level 1 (level of remembering and understanding) was by 16.67%, level 2 (level of applying) was by 43.33%, level 3 (level of analyzing, evaluating, and creating) was by 40%. In view of this, it could be seen that the school exam questions for Mathematics subject of elementary students in Bengkulu City in the 2020/2021 school year were at the MOTS (Middle Order Thinking Skills) thinking level. Furthermore, based on the results of analysis of the thinking level, it had distributions which were not up to standard yet.Keywords: Question Items, Thinking Level, Mathematics

Abstract

This research was carried out to find out the extracurricular management of dancing in developing chinestetics intelligence by using Add-On (Linked) method at SD Negeri 07 Lebong Regency. This research was in descriptive qualitative method. The subject of the study amounted to 9 students of the dance members of SD Negeri 07 Lebong Regency .The instruments in this research were guided interview and guided observation. The analysis of data was done by analyzing all data gathered from interview, observation, and documentation in the form of dancing video. The obtained data was analyzed through reducing data, collecting data, and giving conclusion. Credibility testing was through increased persistence, triangulation and member check. The result of the research showed that (1) management related to the planning of extracurricular dance activities is to prepare dance, determine the schedule of practice and make disciplines that are conveyed orally, 2) management related to the implementation of extracurricular dance activities, namely, the use of Add-On (Linked) method in each exercise. This method is implemented gradually so that students can easily memorize dance moves consisting of 17 movements, 3) management related to evaluation is to use four aspects to see the development of kinesthetic intelligence of students. There is an improvement in every aspect of dance practice so that students have been able to develop their kinesthetic intelligence well. The conclusion of this study is (1) on the planning of researchers adding Add-On (Linked) method and planning to practice as many as 6 meetings within 2 weeks (2) on the implementation process of using Ad-On (Linked) method in dance practice has a good effect in developing students  kinesthetic intelligence, while (3) evaluation needs to be done to see the development of kinesthetic intelligence of students every time exercise.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan permasalahan pelaksanaan Ekstrakurikuler Wajib Pendidikan Kepramukaan menurut Kurikulum 2013 beserta solusinya. Di SD Negeri Gugus 17 Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Pembina Pramuka, Guru Kelas dan Peserta didik. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar wawancara dan pertanyaan angket. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data penelitian ini menggunakan Triangulasi dan Membercheck. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan yang terjadi pada tiga sekolah beragam. Kurangnya pembina pramuka di sekolah, sarana dan prasarana yang belum menunjang, penerapan kegiatan model dalam Pendidikan Kepramukaan yang belum maksimal, pengalokasian dana untuk pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler belum mendukung dan Peserta didik yang kurang paham. Solusi yang diberikan dalam mengatasi permasalahan yaitu sekolah mendatangkan pembina dari luar. Sarana dan prasarananya dicukupi. Penerapan model Blok, Aktualisasi dan Reguler di revisi materinya dan di musyawarakan supaya bisa berjalan dengan maksimal. Pengalokasian dana diatasi dengan mengajukan proposal pelaksanaan kegiatan Kepramukaan . Dapat disimpulkan bahwa permasalahan yang terjadi di Sekolah tersebut dapat terselesaikan apabila Dinas Pendidikan berlaku tegas untuk Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan dan pihak Sekolah  memahami tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dalam Pendidikan Kepramukaan sesuai dengan tata aturan Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe lyrics and tempo characters in kids’ songs on 5th theme thematic book containing cultural arts and crafts material of 2nd grade elementary students. This study was a library qualitative study which was a text study with kids’ songs on 5th theme thematic book containing cultural arts and crafts material of 2nd grade elementary students as the subject. In a thematic book entitled my experience, there were 6 songs including Pelangi-pelangi, Burung Tantina, Kebunku, Kunang-kunang, Cemara, and Kupu-kupu. The main instrument in this study was the researcher herself, meanwhile the supporting instruments were observation and documentation study. The data collecting techniques were observation technique to observe kids’ songs on the book and documentation study including the 5th theme thematic book of 2nd grade elementary students and music sheets (music notations). The data analysis technique in this study was taxonomy analysis technique. The results showed that there were five of six songs which had happy lyrics character and there was one song which had sad lyrics character. The tempo characters of the six songs were rather fast tempo (Allegreto) for one song, moderate tempo (moderato) for two songs, normal walking moderate tempo (Andante) for two songs, and very slow tempo (Lento) for one song. Hence, from the six kids’ songs, the most lyrics character found was happy character and the most tempo character found was moderate tempo with different types which were two songs having moderato tempo and two songs having andante tempo.Keywords: Kid’s Songs, Character, Tempo, Lyrics, Cultural Arts, Crafts

Abstract

This research aimed to discribe the development procedure and know eligibility of thematic learning tool by the Sesiku game method contained earthquake phenomena for Kepahiang elementary students. This reaseacrh was Reaseach and Development (R&D) which used ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. Thematic learning syllabus, lesson plan, and teachers’ guideline books validation; the sheet of practicality teachers’ guideline questionnaire and the practicality of  thematic learning tool implementation; and the effectiveness of  implementation thematic learning tool in Sesiku game worksheet were used as the intrument of this research. In this research, 87,5% were the validity of thematic learning syllabus, 86,11% for lesson plan, and 90,63% for teachers’ guideline book in Sesiku game. All the percentages showed that thematic learning tool in Sesiku game was categorized in validity. In examining of teachers’ practically guideline book in Sesiku game, the percentage was 96,43%, and 96,54% for implementation of Sesiku game as learning tool. It was categorized definitely pratical. While the examining in social (IPS) subject about the effectiveness, the researchers found 84,61%, 92,31% for Indonesian subject, and 84,61% for science (IPA) subject. From all percentages, it showed that was very effective. It concluded that thematic learning tool in Sesiku game for earthquake phenomena was eligible.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aims of this research were to describe the errors in the use of capital letters, punctuation marks and commas in the invitation letters for fifth grade students at the State Elementary School 67 Bengkulu City. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were students VC grade. The data were collected through documentation.The data analysis technique used language error analysis, validity test increases persistence and member checks. The result showed that the keys to using capital letters were found at the beginning of sentences (18.72%), names of people (45.41%), names of years, months, holidays and historical events (43.97%), geographic names (27, 72%), not abbreviated titles, ranks and greetings (32.69%). Errors in the use of signs were found at the end of sentences (60%), separating the hours, minutes, and seconds (17%), not being used after the sender, recipient, and letter date (3%). Incorrect use of commas was found between names and addresses, parts of addresses, places and dates (80%), between names of persons and abbreviations of academic degrees that follow (59%), behind the caption at the beginning of the sentence (53%).

Abstract

This study aims to improve the attitude of tolerance and learning outcomes of class IVB students at Elementary School 88 Bengkulu Tengah by applying Cooperative Learning model type Time Token assisted by scrapbook media.  This research is a Classroom Action Research.  Subjects in the study amounted to 21 students with 12 female and 9 male.  The research instruments used are observation and test sheets.  The data analysis technique used with the Observation Sheet uses the formula for the average score, the highest score, the lowest score, the difference in scores and the range of values for each criterion.  The test data was analyzed using the formula of average values and classical learning percentage.  The average application of Cooperative Learning model type time token assisted by scrapbook media result of cycle I is 55.8 enough categories and in the second cycle 87.87 very good categories.  The average tolerance attitude result of learning cycle I is 5.72 in the enough category and the second cycle which is 10.23 in the very good category.  The result of learning ips subjects cycle I average was 70.59 with classical completion 57.14%, increase in cycle II which is 77.6 with classical completion 85.71%.  The result of learning ppkn subjects cycle I, average was 69.52 with classical completion 52.38%, increase in cycle II of 78.33 with classical completion 90.4%.  Thus, the implementation of Cooperative Learning model type time token assisted by scrapbook media can increase the tolerance attitude and learning outcomes of students in thematic learning in class IVB Elementary School 88 Bengkulu Tengah.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe steps of make a match model, to improve  activeness and learning outcomes of grade III students at SDN 171 by applying a Make a match model. The subjects of this study were teachers and students. Data collection techniques in the form of observations and tests. Assessment instruments in the form of observations and tests. Observation data analysis techniques use the formula of average score, highest score, lowest score, score difference and range values for each criterion. The test data is analyzed using the formula of average grades and classical percentages. The results of the teacher activity research in the application of model Make a match cycle I obtained a score of 61.15 (good)  and cycle II increased by 80.15 (very good), the activeness of learning learners in cycle I obtained a score of 10.05 (sufficient) and increased in cycle II obtained an average score of 13.12 (good). The results of learning cycle I in Indonesian subjects in classroom amounted to 67.48 with classical completion of 47.05%, in cycle II average grade value was 75.74 with classical completion of 76.47%. Mathematics subjects in cycle I obtained an average class of 69.55 with classical completion of 70.58%, in cycle II the average grade score of 81.13 with classical completion of 88.23%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of Make a match model can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of students in Grade III SDN 171.Keywords: Make a match, Liveliness, Learning Outcomes.
