Abstract

Abstrak: Hipertensi sering disebut sebagai The Silent Killer. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadi komplikasi pada penderita hipertensi yaitu melalui terapi farmakologi dan nonfarmakologi. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologi yaitu senam hipertensi. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberi pengetahuan guna mencegah komplikasi hipertensi melalui senam hipertensi dan terapi komplementer: obat herbal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan dan praktik. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan metode penyuluhan dilakukan melalui pretest dan post test, sedangkan untuk menilai efektifitas senam dilakukan pengukuran tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah senam hipertensi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan peningkatan pengetahuan pada pretest (rata-rata=2,8) dan pada post test (rata-rata=4,2), analisa wilcoxon menunjukan p-value 0,002 (<0,05) artinya terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan yang signifikan. Hasil pengukuran tekanan darah menunjukkan penurunan tekanan darah systole maupun diastole. Systole sebelum senam hipertensi dengan nilai rata-rata 143,3mmHg dan setelah senam hipertensi nilai rata-rata 134mmHg. Diastole sebelum senam nilai rata-rata 92,7mmHg dan setelah senam rata-rata=87,3mmHg. Analisa wilcoxon untuk systole menunjukan p-value 0,001 (<0,05) dan pada diastole menunjukan p-value 0,011 <0,05). artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan baik tekanan darah systole maupun tekanan darah diastole sebelum dan setelah melakukan senam hipertensi.Abstract: Hypertension is often referred as The Silent Killer. Efforts can be made to prevent complications in patients with hypertension through pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological therapy is hypertension exercise. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge to prevent complications of hypertension through hypertension exercise and complementary therapy: herbal medicine. This activity employs counseling and practical methods. To measure the success of the counseling method, it was carried out through a pretest and post-test, while to assess the effectiveness of the exercise, blood pressure measurements were carried out before and after hypertension exercise. The results of this activity showed an increase in knowledge in the pretest (mean = 2.8) and in the post test (mean = 4.2), Wilcoxon analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 (<0.05). It mean there were significant differences of knowledge level. The results of blood pressure measurements showed a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Systole before hypertension exercise with an average value of 143.3 mmHg and after hypertension exercise an average value of 134 mmHg. The average diastole before exercise was 92.7 mmHg and after exercise the average was 87.3mmHg. Wilcoxon analysis for systole shows a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05) and for diastole shows a p-value of 0.011 < 0.05). it means there is a significant difference in both systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure before and after doing hypertension exercise.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemahiran dan kefasihan membaca al-Quran serta kelancaran tahfizh al-Quran Siswa Sekolah Kader Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah Ranting Pematang Cengal Pantai Cermin, Kabupaten Langkat. Program PKM ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, (12 kali pertemuan), dengan durasi 3 jam per-minggu. Kerangka pelaksanaannya; 1) peserta dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok. 2) masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 8 orang, diajar oleh empat orang guru, yang setiap pekan mengajar secara bergantian. Setiap tutor bertanggung jawab terhadap kelompok yang diajarnya dari awal pelaksanaan sampai evaluasi, 3) Tim menyediakan video pembelajaran tahsin yang diunggah di YouTube, dan modul tahsin sederhana. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengajarkan tahsin adalah metode talaqqi. Pelaksanaan Program Tahsin ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap; persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Apabila pada Mid evaluasi tujuannya belum tercapai, maka pelaksanaan akan diulang (dari tahap persiapan). Akan tetapi, jika tujuan telah tercapai, maka dilanjutkan ke tahap menyusun laporan. Evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan program tahsin ini diawali dengan pre-tes dan diakhiri dengan post-test, menggunakan teknik tulisan dan lisan. Hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh peserta yang terdiri dari 16 orang menunjukkan bahwa, nilai post-tes tertulis rata-rata sebesar 60.9. Sedangkan nilai Lisan (praktik) di akhir kegiatan rata-rata peserta mendapatkan skor 75.31.Abstract: The purpose of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity is to improve the proficiency and fluency in reading the Koran and the fluency of tahfizh al-Quran students of the Muhammadiyah Youth Cadre School Branch Pematang Cengal Pantai Cermin, Langkat Regency. This PKM program is carried out for 3 months, (12 meetings), with a duration of 3 hours per week. Implementation framework; 1) participants were divided into 2 groups. 2) each group consists of 8 people, taught by four teachers, who teach alternately every week. Each tutor is responsible for the group he teaches from the beginning of implementation to evaluation, 3) The team provides tahsin learning videos uploaded on YouTube and simple tahsin modules. The method used in teaching tahsin is the talaqqi method. The implementation of the Tahsin Program is carried out in three stages; preparation, implementation, and evaluation. If in the Mid evaluation the goal has not been achieved, then the implementation will be repeated (from the preparation stage). However, if the objectives have been achieved, then proceed to the stage of compiling a report. Evaluation of the implementation of the tahsin program begins with a pre-test and ends with a post-test, using written and oral techniques. The evaluation results obtained by the 16 participants showed that the average written post-test score was 60.9. While the Oral score (practice) at the end of the activity, the average score of the participants was 75.31.

Abstract

Abstrak: UMKM merupakan salah satu pendukung ekonomi nasional yang perlu diberdayakan dalam menghadapi perkembangan zaman. Pemberdayaan dapat dilakukan melalui perbaikan kualitas produk yang mengacu pada standarisasi kerja, karena kualitas merupakan jaminan bagi konsumen dalam menggunakan produk. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra sasaran UMKM bengkel las rasyid yaitu saat proses pengelasan produk yang masih terdapat patahan pada produk. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai metode dan cara mengetahui kualitas produk pengelasan melalui uji kekuatan las Non Destructive Test (NDT) sesuai prosedur. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk agar mampu bersaing dengan produk lainnya. Metode pelaksanaan pada pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi, edukasi, dan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian ini, pekerja mengetahui cara pengujian kekuatan las dan teknis keterampilan pengujian serta modul prosedur pemeriksaan kekuatan las. UMKM bengkel las perlu menyadari dan memperhatikan tiga hal dalam proses pengelasan yaitu kebersihan material, posisi material dan posisi pekerja, serta kerapatan agar produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kulitas baik.Abstract: MSMEs are one of the supporters of the national economy that need to be empowered in the face of the times. Empowerment can be done through improving product quality which refers to work standardization, because quality is a guarantee for consumers in using the product. The problem faced by the target partner of MSMEs in Rasyid's workshop is when the product welding process still has fractures in the product. The service activity aims to provide knowledge about methods and ways to determine the quality of welding products through the Non Destructive Test (NDT) welding strength test according to the procedure. This is done to improve product quality in order to be able to compete with other products. The implementation method for this service is socialization, education, and training. The results obtained from this service, workers know how to test weld strength and technical testing skills as well as the welding strength inspection procedure module. Welding workshop SMEs need to realize and pay attention to three things in the welding process, namely the cleanliness of the material, the position of the material and the position of the workers, and the density so that the resulting product has good quality.

Abstract

Abstrak:  Sekolah merupakan lingkungan pendidikan kedua bagi seorang anak dalam mengembangkan dirinya dalam mendapatkan pendidikan dan penanaman perilaku hidup sehat. Melalui Usaha kesehatan Sekolah, kegiatan dokter cilik serta penerapan Perilaku hidup bersih sehat disekolah akan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang sangat penting bagi siswa dalam memahami pentingnnya menjaga pola hidup yang sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SD serta membentuk kegiatan UKS, dokter cilik dan bagaimana ber-PHBS ditatanan sekolah. Pelaksanaannya di SDN 14 Mandau duri Bengkalis Riau sebagai bentuk pengabdian dalam kegiatan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka 2 (MBKM2) oleh dosen Prodi Sarjana Kebidanan dan Profesi Bidan beserta mahasiswa. Teknis pelaksanaannya luring tatap muka dibagi 2 sesi dengan penyampaian materi dan sistem coaching melalui demo praktek serta dilanjutkan online via WhatsApps untuk menindak lanjuti pelaksanaan UKS, dokter cilik dan perubahan perilaku siswa dalam ber-PHBS di sekolah. Keberhasilan kegiatan PKM tampak dari semangat yang ditunjukkan siswa SD dalam mengikuti proses pelatihan ini, dari testimony: siswa merasa sangat tertarik, sadar dan berjanji akan selalu melaksanakan kegiatan UKS dan menerapkan PHBS di sekolah.   Abstract:   School is the second educational environment for a child in developing himself in getting education and inculcating healthy living behavior. Through school health efforts, the activities of little doctors and the application of clean and healthy living behavior in schools will provide a very important learning experience for students in understanding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in everyday life. The purpose of this PKM activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of elementary school students as well as to form UKS activities, little doctors and how to perform PHBS in school settings. It was held at SDN 14 Mandau thorn Bengkalis Riau as a form of dedication in the Merdeka Learning activities at Merdeka Campus 2 (MBKM2) by lecturers of the Midwifery and Midwifery Profession Study Program and students. The technical implementation is offline face-to-face divided into 2 sessions with the delivery of material and a coaching system through practical demonstrations and continued online via WhatsApps to follow up on the implementation of UKS, little doctors and changes in student behavior in PHBS at school. The success of PKM activities can be seen from the enthusiasm shown by elementary school students in participating in this training process, from testimony: students feel very interested, aware and promise to always carry out UKS activities and implement PHBS in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Lansia merupakan bagian pada tahap tumbuh kembang manusia, lansia sering mengalami kendala dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, salah satunya kemampuan kognitif, salah satu intervensi yang dilakukan adalah dengan bermain puzzle. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menigkatkan fungsi kognitif pada lansia, kegiatan ini dilakukan selama satu minggu dengan memberikan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Panti Sosial Lansia Harapan Kita. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya perubahan fungsi kognitif pada lansia menjadi lebih baik, walaupaun tidak signifikan, sehingga kegiatan pendampingan ini perlu dilakukan secara kontinyu dan komprehensif. Saran untuk pengelola panti perlu adanya kegiatan modifikasi dan kegitan yang rutin untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif.Abstract: The elderly are part of the stage of human growth and development, the elderly often experience obstacles in everyday life, one of which is cognitive ability, one of the interventions carried out is to play puzzles. This devotion activity aims to improve cognitive function in the elderly, this activity is carried out for one week by assisting, this activity is carried out at the Harapan Kita Elderly Social Home. After the assistance of the results obtained is that there is a change in cognitive function in the elderly for the better, although not significant, so this mentoring activity needs to be carried out continuously and comprehensively. Advice for the manager of the home needs regular modification and activity activities to improve cognitive function.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kemampuan membaca merupakan keterampilan yang tidak bisa dihasilkan secara instan. Keterampilan membaca perlu dibiasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, terutama siswa kelas rendah yang masih berada pada tahap membaca permulaan. Adanya pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi kebiasaan membaca siswa. Hal ini turut andil memberikan pengaruh menurunnya minat baca pada siswa. Siswa yang terlibat dalam kegiatan membaca nyaring menggunakan aplikasi Lets Read adalah siswa kelas I dan II  Sekolah Dasar Semangat Dalam 2 Barito Kuala.  Pemilihan subyek pendampingan ini merujuk pada penelitian sebelumnya mengenai kemampuan membaca permulaan. Kemampuan membaca permualaan merupakan kunci bagi keberhasilan pembelajaran di tingkat selanjutnya. Aplikasi Lets Read menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan minat baca siswa yang rendah. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu meningkatkan minat baca siswa dan pengenalan literasi digital bagi anak. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu survey ke sekolah, penentuan subyek pendampingan kegiatan membaca, dan pelaksanaan. Hasil kegiatan adalah meningkatnya minat baca siswa, terutama membaca permulaan bagi siswa kelas rendah. Sehingga proses pembelajaran berjalan efektif dan efisien.Abstract: Reading ability is a skill that cannot be produced instantly. Reading skills need to be familiarized in students' daily lives, especially low-grade students who are still in the early reading stage. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected students' reading habits. This also contributes to the decreased interest in reading in students. Students who are involved in reading aloud using the Lets Read application are students in grades I and II of the Spirit Elementary School 2 Barito Kuala. The choice of the subject of this mentoring refers to previous research on early reading skills. The ability to read the beginning is the key to successful learning at the next level. The Lets Read application is a solution to overcome the problem of low student interest in reading. The purpose of this service is to increase students' reading interest and the introduction of digital literacy for children. The methods applied are surveys to schools, determination of mentoring for reading activities, and implementation. The result of the activity is an increase in students' interest in reading, especially early reading for lower grade students. So that the learning process runs effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi dan anatomi alat reproduksi perlu diketahui oleh para orang tua. Dengan demikian orang tua mempunyai bekal untuk memberikan informasi tersebut kepada putrinya. Anak tidak menerima informasi hanya dari lingkungan, tetapi informasi langsung dari orang tua merupakan hal penting. Selain menunjukkan kedekatan antara orang tua dan anak, maka anak pun akan merasa aman mendiskusikan hal-hal seputar alat reproduksi bila menginginkannya. Tujuan: Membekali orang tua tentang anatomi alat reproduksi dan pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi agar bisa memberikan informasi tersebut pada putra-putri mereka. Metode: Memberikan penyuluhan tentang anatomi alat reproduksi dan kesehatan reproduksi. Penyuluhan diawali dengan pretes dan diakhiri dengan postes. Hasil & implikasi: Rerata nilai pretes 65% meningkat menjadi 87% sebagai nilai postes. Peserta penyuluhan merasa mendapat bekal yang cukup untuk lebih memahami anatomi alat reproduksi dan informasi seputar kesehatan reproduksi. Kesimpulan: Materi penyuluhan dirasakan mengena oleh orang tua selaku peserta pengabdian. Hal tersebut menjadi bekal mereka dalam berdiskusi dan mengawal putra-putri.Abstract:  Parents need to know about reproductive health and anatomy of reproductive organs. Thus parents have the provision to provide this information to their daughters. Children do not receive information only from the environment, but information directly from parents is important. In addition to showing the closeness between parents and children, children will feel safe discussing matters related to reproductive organs if they wish. Objective: To provide parents with the anatomy of reproductive organs and knowledge of reproductive health so that they can provide this information to their children. Methods: Provide counseling about the anatomy of reproductive organs and reproductive health. Counseling begins with a pretest and ends with a pretest. Results & implications: The mean pretest score of 65% increased to 87% as the posttest score. The counseling participants felt that they were well equipped to better understand the anatomy of the reproductive organs and information about reproductive health. Conclusion: The counseling material was felt by parents as service participants. This has become their provision in discussing and escorting their children to be wise in knowing reproductive organs and discussing reproductive health.

Abstract

Abstrak: Anak usia pra sekolah merupakan golongan rawan terjadi permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut khususnya karies gigi. Anak pada usia tersebut sangat gemar mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung gula tanpa diimbangi dengan perawatan kesehatan gigi. Kebiasaan menanamkan peduli kesehatan gigi dan mulut perlu diajarkan sejak dini. Oleh karena itu, anak perlu diberi bekal pengetahuan tentang gosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak pra sekolah tentang cara menggosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari anak pra sekolah dari PAUD Unggulan Ar Risalah Lubuklinggau berjumlah 35 anak. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah persiapan dengan melakukan studi pendahuluan ke PAUD, pelaksanaan penyuluhan yaitu edukasi kesehatan dengan media phantom gigi dan video animasi gosok gigi dilanjutkan dengan praktik gosok gigi yang benar didampingi oleh tim pengabdi dan mahasiswa. Hasil evaluasi terlihat ada peningkatan pemahaman anak tentang gigi sehat, manfaat gosok gigi, dan waktu gosok gigi, serta peningkatan ketrampilan anak praktik gosok gigi yang baik dan benar. Optimalisasi gerakan gosok gigi ini hendaknya dilakukan secara kontinyu di sekolah dan dilanjutkan di rumah dengan dukungan dari orang tua.Abstract: Pre-school age children are a group that is prone to dental and oral health problems, especially dental caries. Children at that age are very fond of consuming foods that contain sugar without being balanced with dental health care. The habit of instilling dental and oral health care needs to be taught from an early age. Therefore, children need to be equipped with knowledge about brushing their teeth properly and correctly. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of pre-school children about how to brush their teeth properly and correctly. Participants in the activity consisted of 35 children from pre-school early childhood Ar Risalah Lubuklinggau. The stages of implementing this community service activity are preparation by conducting a preliminary study to PAUD, implementation of counseling, namely health education with dental phantom media and animated teeth brushing videos followed by correct tooth brushing practices accompanied by a team of service and students. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in children's understanding of healthy teeth, the benefits of brushing their teeth, and when to brush their teeth, as well as increasing children's skills in good and correct brushing practices. Optimization of this tooth brushing movement should be carried out continuously at school and continued at home with the support of parents.

Abstrak: Pelaksanaan program PKBM menjawab realitas kesulitan yang sering muncul di lembaga nonformal, terutama tantangan operasional kelembagaan di masa pandemi Covid-19. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif untuk memaparkan data dan informasi, artinya menggambarkan luasnya data dan informasi berdasarkan desain studi dan tujuan penelitian, yaitu bagaimana menjalankan program pelatihan manajemen berbasis kebutuhan. Ada tiga tahapan pengelolaan program, yaitu tahap perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi program. Setiap tahapan dalam pelaksanaannya selalu diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, kemudian menyusun rancangan forum yang direkomendasikan dengan pengembangan bahan diskusi, kemudian menyusun penilaian akhir yang diasumsikan dengan soal Pre Tes dan Post test serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi.Abstract:  The implementation of the PKBM program answers the reality of difficulties that often arise in non-formal institutions, especially the challenges of institutional operations during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher uses descriptive research with qualitative methods to present data and information, which means describing the breadth of data and information based on the study design and research objectives, namely how to run a needs-based management training program. There are three stages of program management, namely the program planning stage, program implementation, and program evaluation. Each stage in its implementation always begins with a needs analysis, then prepares a recommended forum design with the development of discussion materials, then prepares a final assessment which is assumed to be with Pre-Test and Post-test questions and ends with an evaluation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Hipertensi. atau tekanan. darah tinggi.yang dikenal dengan.the silent killer karena menyebabkan kematian secara tiba- tiba. Penyakit hipertensi disebabkan oleh beberapa factor seperti pola hidup.yang terkait dengan kebiasaan konsumsi makan yang.tidak sehat, perokok, kurang berolahraga, gen atau keturunan dengan hipertensi. serta  faktor stress. Kesadaran masyarakat yang minim.dalam memeriksakan tekanan darah dan kurangnya.edukasi.tentang hipertensi.sehingga penderita yang sudah merasakan gejala namun tidak mengetahui bahwa dirinya mengalami tekanan darah tinggi. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan banyaknya kasus peningkatan tekanan darah berulang kali, tidak terkontrol dan.terjadinya dampak penyakit yang tidak diinginkan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di lakukan di panti werdha Al-Marhamah Tarakan Kalimantan Utara, tentang edukasi hipertensi dan pengukuran tekanan darah, Tujuannya agar masyarakat mengetahui tentang hipertensi, hasil pengukuran tekanan darah, pemahaman tentang pencegahan peningkatan tekanan darah. dan membangun kesadaran hidup sehat. Kegiatan PKM di awali dari tahap.persiapan, tahap  penyuluhan edukasi hipertensi dan pengukuran tekanan darah. Hasil PKM yang dilakukan pada bulan Juni tahun 2021 di panti werdhaAl-Marhamah Tarakan Kalimantan Utara, didapatkan hasil bahwa masyarakat di panti mengetahui tentang hipertensi, hasil pengukuran tekanan darah dan meningkatkanya pengetahuan. tentang pentingnya mengontrol tekanan darah, pencegahan dan pengobatan.Abstract:  Hypertension is also called the silent.killer because.it can cause sudden death. Hypertension is caused by several factors such as lifestyle related. to unhealthy eating patterns, bad.habits, lack of.exercise, genes of high blood pressure and stressors. Lack of public awareness. By controlling.the lack of knowledge about blood pressure and high blood pressure. I don't know them. Even though they have high blood pressure are already feeling symptoms. This causes the patient to experience repeated, uncontrolled increases. in blood. the pressure and even complications. Community service was carried out at nursing home Al-Marhamah Tarakan North Kalimantan, regarding hypertension education and blood pressure measurement. The goal is for the public to know about hypertension, blood pressure measurement results, understanding of hypertension.prevention and providing.awareness..in implementing. a healthy lifestyle. during, so.as to avoid hypertension or complications. PKM activities started from the preparation stage, the stage of hypertension education counseling activities and blood pressure measurement. The results of the PKM during which was carried out in June 2021 in the village nursing home Tarakan, North Kalimantan, showed that community knew about hypertension, the results of blood pressure measurements and increased their understanding of the importance.of controlling blood pressure, prevention and management of hypertension.
