Abstract

The public's need for health services such as hospitals or clinics continues to increase day by day. This is due to the maturity factor of people's thinking which is currently thinking critically about health services in general. This study aims to examine and develop the variables that underlie patient trust that comes from the quality of service and caring behavior of medical personnel by mediating patient satisfaction in the health services of the Klungkung Regency Government, Bali Province. This location was chosen because Klungkung Regency has a more innovative service unit program called PSC Kris which is in charge of picking up patients to be referred to government health service centers such as hospitals or health centers. This research design uses a descriptive quantitative approach using four main variables, namely Caring Behavior; Service Quality, Patient Satisfaction and Patient Trust. The research instrument used an open questionnaire with an interval scale of 1-10. The sample used in this study used a stratified random sampling technique with a total of 148 respondents. Data analysis in this study used the SEM method assisted by the Smart PLS 3.2 program. The results showed that the quality of service gave a positive and significant influence partially on patient trust, and had a positive and significant influence indirectly through patient satisfaction variables. While the rejection of the influence of caring behavior both passively and mediated by patient satisfaction. This is caused by medical personnel who still lack care in providing health services. The results of the study can be used by the Klungkung District Health Office to be able to evaluate and improve the caring behavior of medical personnel in providing health services to the community.

Abstract

Drugs are substances that are dangerous because they affect a person's mental or psychological condition, be it a person's thoughts, behavior or feelings where the side effect of using this drug is addiction or causes dependence on this substance or material. This study aims to examine in depth the dimensions of knowledge, attitudes and actions as triggers in drug abuse behavior. The results showed that the knowledge possessed by students was still low so that it became a trigger to behave as drug abusers. The attitude of students who tend to accept when offered to use drugs becomes a trigger to behave as drug abusers The actions of drug abuse students in consuming drugs are a manifestation of the low knowledge about the dangers of using drugs and an attitude of acceptance when offered to use drugs. Thus, it is recommended for the government to continue to make educational efforts in order to increase knowledge about drugs for the community in general and adolescents in particular. In addition, it is also recommended to the public not to be permissive regarding the presence of drug abusers Keywords : Drugs; triggers; knowledge; attitude; action.

Abstract

Earthguaakes Mitigation by Learning by Doing Method in Senior High School Wajo 3 in Wajo Regency Earthquakes are vibrations of the earth's crust that give vibrations ranging from subtle to shaking. The occurrence of an earthquake is related to the release of tension in the earth's crust which causes elastic waves that propagate across the layers of the earth. The aim of the study was to increase students' knowledge, attitudes and actions towards earthquakes through the learning by doing method of SMA 3 Wajo Kab. Wajo. The research method is a quasi-experimental research. In this study, the experimental group received education through video and simulation media directly and the control group did not receive education. Sampling was done by proportional stratified random sampling but previously calculated the number of samples using the Lemenshow formula, obtained 158 students. The results of this study were pre and post tests, knowledge showed an increase of 41%, attitudes increased by 13%, and actions increased by 25%. The results of this study conclude that the knowledge, attitudes and actions of students have increased this is because the method used is the learning by doing method, namely after being given training, students immediately demonstrate by doing a simulation which in school there really was an earthquake, and here the researcher see his attitude and actions are still not optimal. Therefore, it is recommended that disaster learning be included in the education curriculum where Indonesia is very prone to natural disasters..

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic poses a risk of increasing morbidity and mortality in pregnant women. Pregnant women have a higher case fatality rate and more complications than non-pregnant women due to COVID-19 infection. This study aims to look in depth at maternal deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Karawang District Hospital. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Cases were defined as the deaths of pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic period recorded at the Karawang District Hospital as many as 5 cases. involving 13 informants consisting of 5 case family information and eight midwife informants. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, which were carried out by applying health protocols. Data were analyzed descriptively using thematic analysis. This study resulted in four themes: case characteristics, antenatal examination, referral process, and causes of maternal mortality. The results showed that all cases had risk factors in pregnancy. Almost all cases do not undergo regular antenatal checks due to fear and posyandu services that were not available during the COVID-19 pandemic. All cases have delayed conditions in the referral process, such as early detection, decision-making, and delayed arrival at health facilities due to road access and transportation. Another thing that causes delays is waiting for the results of the rapid test to come out of the primary healthcare facility. The cause of maternal death during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Karawang District Hospital does not seem different from before the COVID-19 pandemic, which is complications in pregnancy. It is necessary to increase efforts for early detection of complications by increasing public knowledge and capacity of midwives and improving the referral flow system, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Spinal anesthesia can cause nausea and vomiting. It is due to the non-depolarizing effect of the drug on the spinal cord, where there are chemoreceptor trigger zone receptors. As much as 53.4% of PONV in gynecological surgery using spinal anesthesia in Indonesia, and at cesarean section 60% in spinal anesthesia. One of the efforts that have been carried out is acupressure, but the incidence of PONV is still relatively high. Another intervention that can overcome PONV is the complementary intervention of sujok. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of sujok implementation on post-surgical syndrome in patients with spinal anesthesia. This study used a true experiment with a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection involved 32 respondents divided into two groups: control and intervention groups, with 16 samples each. This study used the implementation of sujok given two times in 1 day. There was a statistically significant decrease in systolic pressure with an average decrease of 120.56 mmHg (p= 0.00), diastolic with an average decrease of 75.88 mmHg (p= 0.00), pulse with an average decrease of 71.25 x/minute (p= 0.00), respiration with an average decrease of 17.00 x/minute (p= 0.00), and PONV nausea and vomiting score with the average decrease value became 0.44 (p = 0.00) at the 28-hour observation result after being given implementation. Sujok implementation with a duration of 30 minutes, which is stimulated every 10 minutes for 3 minutes, performed at 1 hour and 24 hours after surgery, effectively reduces systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse, respiration, and PONV.
