Abstract

In both Japanese and Indonesian, the semantic function linked with the invitation sentence contains markers from various word classes. The verb markers shiyou, shiyouka, and shinaika are used in inviting statements in Japanese. In Indonesian, invitation sentences are denoted by the adverbs mari and ayo. This is a qualitative descriptive study that employs note-taking techniques as well as the listening and AGIH method. According to the findings of this study, there are similarities in the semantic role that speakers have in the form of invitations shityou, shiyouka, and shinaika in Japanese while the adverb forms in Indonesia is mari and ayo, in which has a semantic role as main role of the actors. The last, the researcher invited the further researcher to conduct the similar study in exploring the syntactical features of inviting sentence in Japanese and other languages.

Abstract

There are various types of Japanese language, namely the variety of written language (kaki kotoba) and the variety of spoken language (hanashi kotoba). Shouryakugo is the process of word shortening, while the result of word shortening is called ryakugo. This shouryakugo often occurs when communicating orally, for example in anime, movies, advertisements and social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc.). So that foreign language learners, especially Japanese, find it difficult if there is an abbreviated vocabulary. Because Japanese language learners do not know about the process of abbreviating words, whether the word produces a new form but also acquires a new meaning called grammatical meaning, while the original meaning is a lexical meaning. Therefore, researchers aim to examine this in a study. Like the word セコンドハンド becomes セコハン(second hand).  Analyzing shouryakugo in morphological and semantic studies, it is hoped that Japanese language learners will be able to use shouryakugo based on the process of formation, meaning and type in Japanese sentences. The theory used in this study uses Yonekawa's theory of the formation of Japanese morphology and Shouryakugo classification, on Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc.). The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data analysis technique used is the lethargy technique.

Abstract

AbstrakFenomena linguistik yang memperlakukan peran subjek pada klausa intransitif sama dengan peran objek pada klausa transitif, tetapi, berbeda perannya dengan subjek pada klausa transitif disebut dengan ergativitas. Kasus ergativitas dalam lintas bahasa juga ditemukan pada bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku S, A, dan P pada kalimat ergatif masing-masing bahasa, khususnya yang berhubungan dengan subjek dan transitifitas.Melalui metode kajian komparatif antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jepang, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana kaitan morfologis, sintaksis dengan konstruksi ergatif di kedua bahasa tersebut. Dalam analisis dijelaskan ciri-ciri konstruksi ergatif pada masing-masing bahasa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahasa Indonesia dapat dikategorikan kepada bahasa bertipe ergatif secara sintaktis, dan morfologis. Disebabkan S yang berperilaku sama dengan P, tetapi memiliki perilaku yang berbeda dengan A. Tetapi, bahasa Indonesia juga dapat dikategorikan ke dalam bahasa yang bertipe akusatif secara sintaktis. Di sisi lain, konstruksi ergatif pada bahasa Jepang, bercirikan morfem khusus yang menunjukkan fungsi ergatif dengan dua tipe bentuk verba, yaitu tipe V-e (intransitif) dan V-ar (transitif). Konstruksi V-e tidak memungkinkan untuk pembentukan pada bentuk progresif, bentuk lampau, vokatif, dan imperative. Tetapi, V-ar- konstruksi dapat terjadi bersamaan dengan ekspresi progresif, penanda lampau, vokatif dan imperatif. Keywords:  ergatif; intransitif; akusatif; konstruksi ergatif

Abstract

Pendidikan bahasa merupakan salah satu bidang pelajaran yang banyak diminati oleh anak-anak bangsa, khususnya bahasa Jepang. Selain memiliki keunikan tersendiri bahasa Jepang memiliki daya tarik dari kosakata dan berbagai macam ungkapan. Namun, secara praktik belajar Sebagian besar masih dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga masih banyak siswa yang kesulitan untuk belajar lebih dalam terkait kosakata bahasa Jepang. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah media lingodeer dapat membantu meningkatkan siswa dalam menulis huruf hiragana .responden sampel untuk penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Adi Luhur Jakarta dengan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimen dan didesain melalui penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest Design, kuesioner serta pengukuran data uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan uji t menggunakan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran data nilai pre-test sebesar 68,16 mengalami signifikansi kenaikan nilai post-test mencapai angka 82,32. Hasil pengujian pada Paired Sample t test diketahui nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar  0,000 < 0,05, maka H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Oleh sebab itu,  hasil pengukuran data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada penerapan media pembelajaran lingodeer terhadap peningkatkan kemampuan  siswa dalam menulis hiragana.

Abstract

Abstract This study addresses the topic of policy formation and subject migration in Shin Togashi's Oshin film. The purpose of this study was to 1) describe the formation of policies, and 2) describe the migration of Oshin character subjects. The approach used is literary sociology with Ranciere's perspective. The results of this study show that there are three policies, namely, 1) policies in the family environment, 2) policies in the work environment, and 3) policies in the surrounding community. The results regarding subject migration are as follows. Oshin figures experience five migration processes namely, 1) subjects as children to workers, 2) subjects as workers to younger siblings, 3) subjects as younger siblings to children, 4) subjects as children to workers and children, 5) subjects as workers and children to children.

Abstract

Indonesia now has the second largest number of Japanese language learners in the world after China.   Among those many learners, there are those who use the Japanese language in part of their lives by working and studying in Japan, or working at Japanese companies in Indonesia.  In Japanese language education, the aim is to teach learners to be able to communicate correctly with Japanese people.  In order to communicate correctly, it is essential to remember words and learn the correct structure of sentences, but phrasing is also necessary for comfortable conversation. Pronunciation and accent accuracy are also very important in these verbal communications. It is common for learners to be misunderstood due to mistakes in pronunciation or accent, or to have trouble understanding what they are saying to Japanese people.  Pronunciation and accent articulation can be tricky. At times, many learners do not notice the difference in sounds, or cannot move their mouths and tongues according to Japanese pronunciation.  The reasons for this difficulty include the features of Japanese that are not found in other languages as well as the mother tongue interference. There are some Japanese pronunciations that are not in their native language. Learners often replace such unknown Japanese phonemes with familiar pronunciations. Its pronunciation is chosen from among mother tongues.  Indonesia is a multiethnic and multilingual country.  Among them, Javanese is spoken by a lot of  people in Indonesia. There are some characteristics in the pronunciation of Japanese learners whose mother tongue is Javanese, and it is believed that these characteristics are related to their mother tongue. Japanese has affricates [dz] and [ts]. These affricates are said to be pronunciations that many Japanese learners around the world find difficult. Javanese native speakers also have difficulties to make [dza], [dzɯ], [dze], [dzo], and [tsɯ], correctly. Analysing learners’ phonological processes and the cause of this phonologically.  This research will provide hints for improving the pronunciation of Javanese native speakers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the idiomatic and lexical meanings of Japanese idioms using part of body lexemes. The technique utilized in this study is perusing and note taking strategies. There are 78 idioms found in the data source which are divided into several meaning or meaning classifications, 1) Idioms that show feelings and emotions; 2) Idioms related to body, character, and attitude; 3) Idioms that indicate action, or activity; 4) Idioms that indicate a state, degree, or level of value; and 5) Idioms that indicate local life, culture, and society. It can be concluded that based on the results of the analysis and discussion of Japanese idioms containing body lexemes, Japanese idioms using body part lexemes are still often used in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use MacthCard learning media in Goi lessons on the mastery of Japanese vocabulary of 3rd semester high school students at Universitas Negeri Manado. The type of research used is included in quasi experiments with a pretest posttest control group design.. The analysis technique used was t-test statistical analysis. From the results of the study, it is known that the use of MacthCard card games in improving the development of Japanese vocabulary acquisition skills compared to conventional learning shows a significant difference.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the content of the film "The Asadas! (Asadake!)" in relation to the aspect of character value interpretation relevant to the development of information technology and data management. The film "The Asadas! (Asadake!)" exhibits strong strengths in terms of its storytelling structure, which contains a combination of comedy, drama, and science fiction elements in an environment facing drastic changes due to advances in information technology and data management. Using a media content analysis approach, an analysis of scenes, dialogues, and characters relevant to the development of information technology and data management was conducted by 24 viewers over 2 days, with a film duration of 92 minutes. Viewers and interpreters of the film "The Asadas! (Asadake!)" stated that the film focuses on human relationships, life experiences, and human character in facing unique situations that illustrate the principles of information system science regarding the form of technological and informational adaptation qualifications. There were positive values acquired by the viewers even though the characters had age differences, but each was able to recognize their needs. This demonstrates collaboration and positive synergy to reach a conflict resolution that can become a habit. Therefore, there is a need for other film products, especially in Indonesia, that can utilize the use of information data as a basis for decision-making in changing the positive attitudes of others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji alih kode dalam sebuah video channel YouTube Nihongo Mantappu yang berjudul “Orang Jepang Coba Makanan & Sambal Legendaris Surabaya!! Ketagihan!?” Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk atau wujud alih dan penyebab alih kode dalam video channel YouTube Nihongo Mantappu.. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak, catat, dan transkipsi. Dari hasil analisis data terkait wujud dan penyebab alih kode dalam sumber data ditemukan 5 data yang mengandung alih kode. Secara keseluruhan wujud data yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah wujud alih kode eksternal. Faktor penyebab alih kode perubahan situasi, penutur, lawan tutur orang ketiga dan topik pembicaraan.
