<![CDATA[This qualitative research was done to describe the leadership characteristic of PT Energi Sejahtera Mas Dumai. We used interview and documentation to collect the data. The interview was done with the two ESM officers. The documentation was done to record the interview. <![CDATA[Parents have an important role in shaping and developing the character of children. Therefore, the school should be able to create a good collaboration with parents in fostering the students’ characters. This study aimed at finding out how the school applied the strategy to strenghten the students’ character in maximizing the role of parents. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 62 of Palembang. The type of this research was qualitative descriptive research. The data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study suggested that the roles of parents in strenghtening the students’ characters were: (1) improving the characters’ value as part of the formulation of vision, mission and objectives of the institution which were implemented in daily lives. (2) maintaning the strong relationships in strengthening the students’ characters, (3) preparing the teachers who had high responsibility in doing their tasks for the success of the students, (4) creating the safe, comfortable and condusive condition which could stimulate character education, and maintaining the Islamic environment in worship, work and social interaction. The results of the implementation of the character building program in SD Negeri 62 Palembang were as follows: (1) learners were accustomed to say greetings, (2) students had tolerance and mutual respect among fellow students, (3) students were honest, (4) students were polite, (5) students were highly integrated, and (6) the students concerned on their environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The Issue in this paper was implementation of National Education Standards has not revealed. The informants were 17 person. The data collection was the researchers as a key instrument and supporting instruments were interview, observation guidelines, field notes, camera and HP. Data collection techniques using the participant observation, in depth interview and documentation study. Data were analyzed using models Miles and Huberman. <![CDATA[This study determined the development of modules as teaching materials for Anti Narcotics learning, to find out the quality of modules in learning Anti Narcotics in terms of content eligibility, language feasibility, presentation, and images, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials in the form of modules learning in Anti Narcotics. This study uses the Dick and Carey development model. The module feasibility test is carried out by means of product feasibility testing by reviewing trial design and review design and then given an observation sheet (walkthrough sheet) covering the suitability of content, media, and language by media experts, material experts, and linguists. The subjects of the trial were students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan through three stages: individual trials taken by 3 random students, small group trials consisting of 10 students, and field trials consisting of 28 students. The results of research and development of Anti Narcotics module produles namely the quality of the modules developed are valid according to material experts, media experts, and linguists. The Anti Narcotics Module is feasible and effective to be used by students during field trials and is able to assist students in learning drug material. This research is expected to be used as a reference for developing modules on other materials.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem in this research was the learning of PAI in SD Negeri 21 Batubasa was teacher’s center and limited of teaching materials. This study aimed at developing the PAI learning module based on the 2013 curriculum on understanding Allah's Messangers, being simple life and Ikhlas were valid, practical, and effective. This research was a development research using 4-D model (definition, design, development and dissemination). Based on the results, the PAI learning module was very valid with an average of 3.65 based on validator assessment. The module was considered very practical with an average 3.92 based on teacher’s ratings and average 3.85 based on student’s ratings. The effectiveness of the module on student's learning motivation was in the active category with the average 94.10 and the student's learning activity in the active category with the average 92. The student’s learning outcomes above the Minimum Standard Criteria with an average 85.50. It can be concluded that the PAI learning module developed was valid, practical, and effective.]]>

<![CDATA[Recently, the internal control system implemented in SMA Negeri 1 Belitang OKU Timur has not been strict, therefore many administrative employees do not work in accordance with their duties and responsibilities so the employee performance becomes low. The problem faced is how the influence of the internal control system on the performance of administrative personnel. Data collection techniques were conducted by literature study, observation, interview, documentation and questionnaire. The results of the internal control system have a positive influence on the administrative staff. Internal control system is a management tool for obtaining information, protection and control, then the organizational activity can run well and if there are irregularities can be solved quickly. Headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Belitang must be more active in applying the internal control system to the administrative staff to improve its performance and the need for punishment for administrative employees who are reluctant to carry out their work so that there will be awareness of mistakes that have been made.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants that influence student learning achievement. The population in this study was class XII students, totaling 521 people. Sampling in this study was random sampling from 52 students. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection is done by questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression, t test and f test. From the results of this study it can be concluded that 1) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning achievement, 2) there is an influence of learning interest on learning achievement, 3) there is no influence on the economic condition of the family on learning. achievement, 4) there is an influence on the level of parental education on learning achievement, 5) there is an influence on learning motivation, learning interest, family economic situation, parental education level on learning achievement.The implication for educators is to always motivate, and develop students' interest in learning and achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[The objectives of this research were 1) describing the funding of educational resources in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang; 2) describing the realization and allocation the funding in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang; and 3) describing the characteristics of accountability the funding in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This research was qualitative. We studied the problems not to prove neither to reject the hypothesis that was made in the past nor to process data and analyze problem in non-numerically. Sources of income in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang listed on Budget Plan (RAPBS). The sources were come from APBN, APBD of Province, and APBD of Palembang. The allocation of funds generally used to make equalization in education and conducted to improve the quality of education. Financial accountability was created by treasurer and principal and it was known by the school committee monthly, including the supporting data, proves of expense and details of expense. <![CDATA[Academic supervision is an activity planned to help teachers in the learning process in order to improve students’ learning outcomes. This study aimed at investigating the supervision of school’s supervisor in improving the professionalism of teachers and improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 44 Palembang. The type of this research is qualitative and the data were obtained by observation, documentation and interview. The results of this study (1) supervision conducted by applying the official approach, partners, and kinship, and the techniques developed by supervisors in implementing academic supervision vary considerably; (2) supervisory obstacles in carrying out academic supervision is the number of teachers were too many, however it only had limited time; (3) the implementation of general academic supervision is good enough and able to carry out its duties and functions properly; (4) aspects that have been targeted by the supervision of school’s supervisors are still limited, not all aspects of academic supervision; (5) the frequency of visits by school’s supervisors in conducting academic supervision is considered lack because it is not evenly distributed; teachers receive class visits by supervisors; and (6) efforts made by supervisors in carrying out academic supervision at SMP Negeri 44 Palembang have not been optimal in providing guidance to teachers.]]>
