Abstract

Based on the results of the study program conducted by the Kangean Island Coastal Community with the theme: "Maritime Management Towards a Prosperous Fisherman Community" on Saturday, February 6, 2021, real follow-up is needed. Of the many problems that emerged from the study, the problem raised in this service was the lack of empowerment of coastal communities, resulting in a lot of neglected/neglected marine potential. Such as the potential of sea grapes, seaweed, crab cultivation, grouper, and others. The solution to this problem that will be given is to carry out training to coastal communities to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in terms of optimizing the potential that is still neglected. The training packages that have been delivered are; Making Floating Cages for Fish Cultivation in the Sea (Crab, Grouper, Tuna, etc.). The target that has been achieved is the courage of the training participants to carry out a realization trial in order to implement the results of the training. One training package, God willing, has been given in the form of a face-to-face online and conference where participants are gathered in one room. This is because there is still the shackles of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The training syllabus includes; Material Preparation, Set-up, and Measurement, Construction of the Main Structure, Installation of the Upper Frame Structure on the Floater/Floater, Road Installation on the Upper Frame Structure, Launching of the Floating Net Cage (KJA) to the Sea, Anchoring, Installation of Nets, and Finishing to be ready for seed anchorage. The implementation of the training has been during the working day. The training was also followed online throughout the East Java region. The practice of making charts or prototypes for marine fish farming and charts for floating cages for Crab and Grouper cultivation have been made by a group of fishermen in Bangkalan Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Jepang kepada pengajar bahasa Jepang tingkat SMA/SMK yang terhimpun dalam Himpunan Pengajar Bahasa Jepang Wilayah Ciayumajakuning (Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, dan Kuningan). Metode kegiatan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan multimedia pembelajaran Nihongo Kotoba Manabu dan Tanoshii Bunpou sebagai produk dari kegiatan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya melalui pemaparan materi, pelatihan/praktek secara luring dan penugasan online, serta evaluasi kemampuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para guru mampu menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Jepang dimaksud dan memperlihatkan kemampuan mengimplementasikan multimedia pembelajaran yang dimaksud dalam pengajaran bahasa Jepang, sehingga menjadikan kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi lebih berkualitas.

Abstract

The problem of household/kitchen waste cannot be separated from people's lives, both in cities and in densely populated villages. If it is not handled properly from waste sources it can cause health and environmental problems. To reduce this, it can be done by processing it into compost, one of which is the Takakura method. Sambijajar village, Sumbergempol sub-district, Tulungagung regency, the amount of waste generation/day is around 568 kg with the problem of littering, burning in the front or back of the house, narrow land so that it is not properly organized, there is buildup and smell and causes air pollution, smoke from burning trash. So processing waste into compost (takakura method) is expected to be able to solve this problem independently on a household scale. So this method is very appropriate as an appropriate technology in solving the problem of landfills in the community, through direct community empowerment. The purpose of this community service activity with the theme of developing Mitra Village is to make people care about the environment independent by increasing their knowledge, and skills and applying the Takakura method of waste management. The form of the activity is training in processing waste using the Takakura method of Appropriate Technology. The methods used are counseling and training. The results obtained from this activity are that the community can improve community knowledge and skills in processing waste into compost using the takakura method. This activity was attended by more than 50 local people as fruit seed farmers and MSMEs as waste producers.

Abstract

Posyandu cadres in Padukuhan Tiyasan Condongcatur are part of increasing the success of stunting reduction in Sleman Regency. The cadre problems are limited knowledge about stunting and nutritious food sources for toddlers and the lack of cadre skills in processing locally-based foods. This service activity's implementation methods are education, training, and mentoring. There are two main stages in implementing the program, the first stage of stunting education and an explanation of nutritious food for toddlers. The second stage is cadre training to process catfish nuggets with a "zero waste" approach. Utilization and optimization sources of regional potential are the advantages of this program. Catfish is a good animal protein source, low price, and easy to cultivate in the Tiyasan. The complete nutritional content in catfish is an alternative to high nutritional nuggets for supplementary feeding for toddlers. It can be concluded that this program is increased the knowledge of cadres about stunting and nutritious food for stunting toddlers, as well as increased the skills of cadres in processing catfish for toddlers' supplementary feeding.

Abstract

The potential of agricultural resources is one of the great potentials possessed by Tasikmalaya Regency, especially Sariwangi District. Management of yard land by utilizing the role of women can be a solution in optimizing yard land to increase food yields. The objectives of the activity "Cultivation of Family Vegetables and Medicinal Plants in the Garden-Based on Environmentally Friendly Agriculture in Sariwangi District" are: 1) Cultivating family vegetables and medicinal plants, 2) Increasing the active role of women, especially members of women farmer groups in optimizing yard land, 3) With the selection of environmentally friendly-based agriculture, namely as an alternative to the production of healthy food. This system cultivates plants by minimizing the use of chemicals, which in the future will ensure the sustainability of farming. The implementation of Community Service for the Food Security Scheme was carried out in the Srikandi Tani Women Farmer Group (KWT) in Peundeuy Village, Sukaharja Village, Sariwangi District, and the Sukariksa III Farmer Women's Group (KWT) Benjan Village, Sukamulih Village, Sariwangi District. The methods of implementing this PbM-KP activity are: a) Conducting interviews with members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Srikandi Tani and Sukariksa III, b) Counseling and practice activities regarding the cultivation of vegetables and family-based medicinal plants that are environmentally friendly c) Evaluation to find out how much great success of the implementation of these activities. The evaluation results show that on average the KWTs have played an active role in optimizing their yards through the cultivation of family vegetables and medicinal plants. Several types of vegetables have been able to enjoy the results.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan sebagai upaya peningkatan kemampuan dan kesiapan sekolah SD Plus Ar-Rahmat dalam mempersiapkan Sekolah Adiwiyata di era kenormalan baru. Secara rinci, tujuan pengabdian ini dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut: pertama, mengetahui persepsi guru terhadap implementasi program adiwiyata di era kenormalan baru; kedua, mengetahui kebutuhan guru dan sekolah terhadap implementasi Sekolah Adiwiyata di era kenormalan baru; ketiga, rancangan program pelatihan program Sekolah Adiwiyata untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru sekolah dasar Plus Ar-Rahmat mengembangkan recana pembelajaran sains berbasis lingkungan di era kenormalan baru; dan yang terkahir sebagai upaya mendeskripsikan kemampuan guru sekolah dasar Plus Ar-Rahmat mengembangkan recana pembelajaran sains berbasis lingkungan di era kenormalan baru setelah mengikuti program pendapingan kesiapan Sekolah Adiwiyata. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menargetkan khalayak sasaran kepada guru-guru di SD Plus Ar-Rahmat. Serangkaian kegiatan PKM ini telah terlaksana pada bulan Maret hingga April 2021. Secara garis besar, para peserta kegiatan memberikan respons postif atas terlaksanannya kegiatan pendampingan kesiapan SD Plus Ar-Rahmat untuk menjadi Sekolah Adiwiyata di era kenormalan baru.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kapabilitas guru untuk memenuhi berbagai peran dan tanggung jawabnya yang berhubungan dengan menjadi seorang pendidik. Media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi tersebut sebaiknya memberikan ruang gerak guru pada era digital untuk merencanakan dan menyediakan pembelajaran interaktif ketika berpartisipasi di dalam komunitas atau kelompok kerja guru dan praktik secara umum dengan sesama rekan pendidik. Kompetensi pedagogi merupakan kemampuan guru yang berkenaan dengan pemahaman terhadap peserta didik dan pengelolaan pembelajaran mulai dari merencanakan, melaksanakan sampai dengan mengevaluasi. Kompetensi pedagogi yang hendak ditingkatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. Target yang telah dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bekerja sama dengan Gugus Kecamatan Cigombong secara umum adalah meningkatnya kemampuan pedagogi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. Target khusus yang telah dicapai dalam kegiatan ini di antaranya: (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan guru terkait media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, (2) meningkatnya literasi teknologi guru, dan (3) meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Metode yang dilakukan, yaitu pertama kali menetapkan daerah tujuan dan mengajukan izin terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan kepada institusi yang berwenang. Selanjutnya melakukan koordinasi dengan Ketua Gugus Kecamatan Cigombong dan menyusun materi yang akan diberikan dalam pelatihan. Materi yang telah diberikan, yaitu (1) pengenalan literasi teknologi, (2) pengenalan dan praktik TIK dasar, dan (3) membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan ms. power point. Dalam tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, metode yang tim gunakan, yaitu dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, dan tugas.

Abstract

One of the problems in the Cahaya Kasih orphanage is the lack of responsibility of the children at the orphanage. The purpose of this training activity is to develop a responsible attitude for the children of the Cahaya Kasih orphanage. The problem-solving method used is training through emotional freedom therapy, group sensitivity, reality therapy, and lectures on responsibility material. Participants' responses to this training were obtained through written answers collected at the end of each activity session.The results of this training show that the participants can help increase their knowledge and understanding of responsible attitudes, help them recognize and let go of negative emotions that hinder responsibility, help them identify the skills that support a responsible attitude, help them to realize their aspirations and the efforts that have been and will be made to achieve them. Based on these results, the authors conclude that responsible attitude training through emotional freedom therapy, group sensitivity, and reality therapy activities can increase knowledge and understanding and develop a responsible attitude for the children of the Cahaya Kasih orphanage in Bandung. Therefore, the authors suggest that training on emotional freedom therapy, group sensitivity, reality therapy can be applied to reduce negative behavior and develop a responsible attitude for orphanage children.

Abstract

The purpose of this program is as a first step to write scientific papers for lecturers at Bale University, Bandung, as one of the real actions of the national mental revolution movement which was carried out in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture and Bale Bandung University at Hotel Horison Bandung. The event was attended by the Chancellor of Bale Bandung University, Bandung Ibrahim Danuwikarsa, Deputy Coordinator for Mental Revolution, Promotion of Culture and Sports Achievement at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Didik Suhardi, Professor at Padjadjaran University, Bandung Prof. Reginawati Hidersah and the Research and Community Service Institute Team at Bale Bandung University along with dozens lecturer. The implementation method is 1). training in writing scientific papers for lecturers at Bale University, Bandung; 2) Assistance in writing scientific papers for lecturers; 3). Publication of scientific journals produced by lecturers at Bale University, Bandung.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of the implementation of services regarding digital literacy through virtual reality in teaching vocabulary at SDN Sindanglaka Cipanas. Virtual reality or virtual reality is a tool that can be used to assist learning. Through this virtual reality, students and teachers are invited to view 360-degree videos that are adapted to learning materials. Learning becomes more real because students can seem to see it directly. The data presented are in the form of students' pre-test and post-test results and the learning process carried out by teachers and students using virtual reality. The vocabulary taught is English vocabulary with materials in the living room and things in the bedroom. In the initial activity, the teacher was motivated first, but the teacher did not motivate students to learn using virtual reality or VR, so students were less motivated to try new things in class. The results of the students' pretest and posttest showed an increase, before learning about vocabulary using virtual reality was carried out.
