Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Sambirejo Timur Village, Percut Sei Tuan District with culinary business partner Rusmiati. The problems faced by partners are consumer demand that is not following production capacity because production is still carried out manually, the lack of partner knowledge about attractive product packaging designs, product halal certification processes, marketing alternatives, and preparation of financial reports. These problems make partner businesses not develop and experience a decline, both in the fields of production and marketing. The methods implemented in this service activity are in the form of education, training, socialization, and mentoring. This method is carried out in the form of training on how to use appropriate technology tools, namely the use of dough printing machines and product packaging tools, training and designing packaging designs that are more attractive, and tidy so that partner products are more durable, socialization and assistance for standardization of the production process including the selection of raw materials, structuring the production space, making work standards to assisting partners in completing LPPOM MUI halal certification application documents as well as implementing education and training on financial accounting and business management and marketing through online store applications by utilizing IT.

Abstract

The goal of this PKM program is to use a Biophilic Design approach to improve the quality of space in educational facilities. Biophilic Design is a concept that uses natural elements to create physical and psychological comfort. As a Community Service (PKM) partner, the Faculty of Design joins the Amaliyah Quran Education Park, Campaka Village, Andir District, Bandung City. The method used is to identify the target audience, the types of activities, and the stages of implementation. Carry out the process of designing room facilities that encourage the improvement of the quality of learning. The satisfaction of partners with the changes made demonstrates the effectiveness of this service. The activities include the installation of sanitation facilities, the addition of vegetation, and the design of comfortable study rooms. Partners benefit greatly from assistance in providing public facilities in this educational space. Learning at the TPA becomes more conducive with the addition of sanitation facilities, and the comfort of students and teachers is fulfilled by this program.

Abstract

The quality of learning in general at SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi based on the results of discussions with the English teacher is that in general they have enough enthusiasm to learn English, but learning is still fixated on learning resource media in the form of worksheets. Thus they are more focused on the results of working on worksheets. The development of information and communication technology has brought enormous changes to the advancement of the world of education. The form of the development of information technology applied in the world of education is E-Learning. One of the platforms that can be used as an interactive learning medium is Schoology. The use of Schoology media requires students to always be connected to the internet network. Positive supervision from teachers and parents is expected so that students do not access things that are negative in nature. Therefore, the community service activity entitled "Schoology Implementation Training Activities in Teaching and Learning to improve the skills and ethics of high school students using ICT" is to provide socialization related to the use of Schoology for teachers as well as socializing ethics on the internet for students. This activity was carried out on January 22-24, 2021 which was carried out online because of the Covid-19 PSBB. One of the indicators that can be measured is that seen from this activity, teachers and students can use Schoology applications well and students can communicate according to the principle of netiquette (internet etiquette). Therefore we declared that this community service activity was deemed as successful.

Abstract

The low nutritional intake of the community is one of the factors causing stunting in infants and toddlers. Kampong Tanah Bara is one of the villages in the Gunung Meriah sub-district that has the highest stunting rate. In an effort to meet the nutritional needs of the Kampong Tanah Bara community, it is necessary to empower household yards. ladder to meet the nutritional needs of the family, so it is hoped that the stunting rate can be reduced. Community service activities in Kampong Tanah Bara aim to empower household yards so that they provide benefits in meeting the nutritional needs of families which are expected to have an impact on reducing stunting. The steps or methods implemented in the activities of using yard land are Focus Group Discussion (FGD), counseling, demonstration of nursery houses, verticulture and hydroponic demonstrations, and evaluation monitoring. The implementation of the service went well and according to plan, although there were also obstacles in the implementation of service activities, namely the lack of citizen participation and the condition of the soil in the sandy yard.

Abstract

The selection of herbal drink products needs to consider the high antioxidant content to increase immune power during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of the proposed community service activity (PKM) is to foster student entrepreneurial interest through making herbal drinks made from rosella and ginger (Roseja) to create understanding, and knowledge and will provide opportunities for the development of creative potential and innovation. The priority issues that will be handled in this PKM activity are 1) Socialization to students of SMK Karya Bhakti, Brebes Regency, Central Java about the use of rosella and ginger as the basis for making Roseja herbal drink products (rosella and ginger) that are safe for consumption, 2) improving students' skills SMK to make products with a concentration of additives, 3) increase the motivation of SMK students to carry out promotional activities to market products to consumers. The target audience in this PKM activity is participants in community service activities. The participants of this activity were students of class XII of SMK Karya Bhakti, Brebes Regency. The approach method used to overcome the problems faced by partners is the method of training and socializing the manufacture of Roseja herbal drink products that are safe for consumption. The results obtained from this activity are increasing understanding of the use and manufacturing methods as well as motivation to market herbal drink products from the combination of rosella and ginger. The percentage shows that 100% can understand the material and can practice how to make herbal drinks. As many as 80% were motivated to implement and develop rosella ginger herbal drink products, and 70% of the participants were motivated to market them.

Abstract

Maintaining hand hygiene is one of the most important steps to minimize the spread of disease from viruses and bacteria. But in reality there are still many people who are lazy to do it. In fact, the hands are one of the entrances for germs to enter the body. The use of antiseptics is an effort made to prevent disease transmission other than washing with soap. The practical use of hand sanitizer is a solution to keep hands clean anytime and anywhere. Natural ingredients are one of the right choices in making antiseptics because of the active chemical components that can fight bacteria or viruses, including piper betel leaf and orange peel. The chemical content of piper betel leaf and orange peel has anti-bacterial activity. This service activity aims to provide knowledge about training in making antiseptic gels from herbs, namely with the main ingredients of piper betel leaf and orange peel in partner groups in Pucak village, Bontonompo sub-district, Maros district. The community service activity was carried out in the form of training by providing materials and practices for the use of natural basic ingredients as an effort to make antiseptic gels made from herbs

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to assist Nglinggo Tourism Village management in documenting its business process. Tourism services in Nglinggo are currently regarded to be operated smoothly, however, without sufficient documentation, it is difficult to conduct evaluation activities. Considering the importance of evaluation in the continuous development of the tourism village, business process documentation and evaluation is conducted. This community service was conducted mostly by training and advisory activities. In the advisory activities, program team assisted the management in business process identification, analysis and evaluation, as well as documentation. This documentation phase used Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) while evaluation utilized Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). The results of this activity consist of documentation of business processes which include tourist services, recap of village tourism receipts and other related services. This service is expected to help Nglinggo Tourism Village to have business process documentation as a guide in order to achieve standards in tourism services.

Abstract

Transportation is a system that has facilities and infrastructure, transportation services provide guarantees not only guarantees for safety, but also include certainty and security of transportation users, both people and / or goods. The purpose of implementing the 53 Shipping Real Work Lecture (KKN) is to provide socialization about criminal regulations in an effort to prevent the prohibition of sea transportation for the safety and security of national shipping. The method of implementing KKN is carried out online by using social media as a means of finding data, discussing with partners, socialization, and counseling to the community. This is then packaged in the form of a webinar with predetermined themes, topics, and studies. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that most people still do not understand the importance of shipping safety and security for the benefit of users of sea transportation services, this is due to the low understanding of regulations, less disciplined enforcement officials, and the culture of the community itself which is more concerned with achieving goals than the safety and security of shipping.

Abstract

This PKM activity started from the interest of lecturers at the Mathematics Education Study Program at Tanjungpura University to write proposals and reports for lecturers and students in West Kalimantan following the regulations of the Ministry. The form of this PKM is a workshop with the title "Workshop on Proposal Writing and Scientific Work Reports for Lecturers and Students at STKIP Singkawang." This workshop was attended by 25 people consisting of lecturers and final semester students at STKIP Singkawang. The data collection technique is observation, interview, and documentation. The PKM activity plans are 1) Preparation: determining the location and obtaining an implementation permit in this workshop activity; 2) Implementation: conducting workshops, analyzing test results, and assisting in the preparation and preparation of scientific article publications, conducting workshops in class; 3) Final: The making of this scientific proposal and report produces a scientific paper proposal and report. The result of this PKM is the implementation of the Workshop on Writing Proposals and Scientific Work Reports for Lecturers and Students following the steps that have been determined and the proposals and scientific reports of STKIP Singkawang lecturers.
